Although the last season of 7 vs. Wild just aired a few weeks ago, the next season of the survival show is coming soon, but it won’t be available as usual on YouTube and Amazon Prime.
What kind of season is this? As reported by the news platform 20min.ch, the next season of 7 vs. Wild is set to start on January 25, 2026. However, it will be exclusive to the Swiss free TV channel 3Plus and will feature an all-Swiss cast.
Under the title “7 vs. Wild Castaway,” seven Swiss celebrities will be dropped as a group in the Dominican Republic for 14 days. Without food and with only limited drinking water, the participants will try to survive in the tropical climate while spiders and crabs are among the daily visitors.

Not for viewers from Germany
How can one watch the season? Viewers from Switzerland can watch the free TV channel 3Plus via traditional television or the Swiss subscription streaming service “oneplus” from CH Media. Viewers from Germany cannot simply watch the new season.
The streaming service is exclusive to Switzerland, and the free TV channel 3Plus is generally not received in Germany. Additionally, typical platforms like YouTube or Prime Video will not have the new season available. Even Fritz Meinecke, the founder of 7 vs. Wild, is unlikely to be involved in the production.
It is also unclear whether the new season of 7 vs. Wild was produced by the usual production company Calivision Network GmbH or if they have since licensed the format to other productions for 7 vs. Wild to achieve global success. The participation of a well-known candidate speaks for this.
Who are the participants? The Swiss edition of 7 vs. Wild starts directly with a familiar face. Social media star Kris Grippo (featured image) was recently part of the fifth season of 7 vs. Wild “Amazonas” and managed to meet the challenge there.
He is not the only one who knows what survival feels like, as the Swiss edition also features an expert. His name is Gion Saluz and he is a survival trainer and founder of “Swiss Survival Training.” The rest of the participants are primarily celebrities and social media stars.
