Battlerite Royale: Battle Royale like never before
What is Battlerite Royale? At the end of September 2018, Battlerite Royale was released on Steam in early access. This is a version of the popular arena brawler Battlerite.
In this game, you had the combat mechanics with skill shots of a MOBA but without the strategic elements such as item purchase, minions, and defense towers. It is all about fights and action.
Battlerite Royale aims to expand this game concept into the battle royale genre. Thus, the game was successful on Steam and had a good launch.
What is special about Battlerite Royale?
Battlerite Royale has adopted some elements from games like Fortnite:
- You jump over a large map (30 times larger than a regular Battlerite map) and then look for equipment.
- You can fight alone or in a team and take out all other players.
- The last one standing wins.
Battle royale from a bird’s eye view: However, Battlerite Royale does some things differently:
- You control the game from a top-down perspective.
- You move with the WASD keys and aim your skill shots with the mouse.
- You are not entirely defenseless at the beginning, but you must first find your strong skills in colorful orbs.
- You have 20 heroes to choose from, each with different skills as well as advantages and disadvantages and the heroes from the original Battlerite have been thoroughly revised.
Battlerite Royale is not a game mode for Battlerite; it is a standalone game that you must purchase separately.
Why should you play Battlerite Royale?
Battle Royale for MOBA fans: Battle Royale games are usually shooters. But what about all the players who enjoy fighting to the last man but have no interest in shooters like Fortnite or PUBG?
Then Battlerite Royale might be the right game for you. Because here you have the mechanics of a MOBA and finally different heroes with various skills and abilities.
