Red Dead Redemption: The Western epic is finally coming
On October 26, 2018, Rockstar’s long-awaited open-world western Red Dead Redemption 2 will hit the market. In Red Dead Redemption 2, you play the bandit Arthur Morgan, who is part of the Dutch van der Linde gang, which must survive at the end of the Wild West era in 1899.
What is special about Red Dead Redemption 2?
An open Western world full of life: Like its predecessor from 2010, Red Dead Redemption 2 firmly relies on a large open world. The world is livelier and more immersive in 2018 than ever before:
- You encounter almost 200 different animal species that all have their place and function in the world.
- You can hunt and fish the animals.
- The first-person perspective is well done and enhances immersion.
- The developers have put a lot of effort into the horses:
- You can upgrade the mounts.
- Those who handle their horses well will get more from them.
- The horse models are so realistic that stallions even have dynamic anatomy.
Additionally, Red Dead Redemption is supposed to have an online mode, but it is supposed to be an addition and not an essential game content. The beta for “Red Dead Online” is scheduled to start in November.
Why should you play Red Dead Redemption 2?
Red Dead Redemption 2 appeals to fans of GTA who also enjoy westerns. And those who loved the 2010 predecessor should definitely check this out.
If Rockstar finally offers a PC version for this western epic, everyone will truly be happy.
