Myth 3 – Pokémon Red & Blue: The Mysterious Truck

Pokémon also had some myths, here, our chief editor Leya Jankowski even explains which one influenced her the most. However, we are addressing another one, which is about a famous truck in Pokémon Red & Blue.
The truck was located in Vermilion City and could only be reached through indirect means. However, if you managed to reach the city, you would come across a truck that was in the middle of a field. According to the myth, trainers could interact with this truck to then catch a Mew – at the time one of the rarest Pokémon.
Although the placement of the truck seemed really strange, the myth turned out to be pure fiction. It was just a normal truck, but Nintendo didn’t want to miss the opportunity to place it in newer titles of Pokémon and to honor it properly. But a Mew didn’t exist there.
