Myth 6 – Tomb Raider and Naked Skin

Tomb Raider was very popular among many teenagers, not only because of acrobatic climbing maneuvers. A myth emerged that there was a possibility to undress Lara Croft. Therefore, many players tried various actions and key inputs to remove the explorer from her clothing – but without success.
The players were persistent, and the myth reached media attention, which is why the developers came up with something for Tomb Raider 2.
First, there was the famous Nude Cheat Code
, which actually made Lara Croft explode. As if that wasn’t enough, at the end of Tomb Raider 2, there was an exciting cutscene:
As Lara Croft prepares to take a shower and wants to undress, she asks the camera: “Don’t you think you’ve seen enough?” while reaching for her shotgun and shooting the camera filming her. Lara Croft is not seen naked in Tomb Raider.
