Good Azerite armor will be quite expensive in World of Warcraft. We will tell you what you have to pay for the best equipment.
The upcoming Wednesday (January 23, 2019) is an important date for many players in WoW, as the second season of Battle for Azeroth begins. This not only includes the opening of the new raid “Battle of Dazar’Alor” but also an update at the vendor for Azerite armor. He will then have much stronger items available – but they will also come at a high cost. Anyone wanting to own them will need to scrape together several thousand Titan Residuum.
What is Titan Residuum? Titan Residuum is obtained by scrapping Azerite armor with an item level of 340 or higher. The value for this is fixed and increases with a higher item level. The stronger the item that is scrapped, the more Titan Residuum is received. In addition, Residuum is awarded weekly from the “Mythic+” reward chest.
What do the Azerite items cost? As of that Wednesday, the vendor in Boralus and Dazar’Alor will have new items in stock. You will be able to purchase Azerite items with item levels 400 and 415, provided you have enough Titan Residuum. The prices are as follows:
- A random item of item level 400: 675 Titan Residuum
- A specific item of item level 400: 1725 Titan Residuum
- A random item of item level 415: 1725 Titan Residuum
- A specific item of item level 415: 7150 Titan Residuum
So if you want to buy a full set consisting of head, shoulder, and chest armor with item level 415, you will need to gather a hefty 21,450 Titan Residuum. Even the professional raiders will have some time to chew on that.
How much Residuum have you farmed already? Or are you just doing this on the side without any rush?
