Many furniture and decorations in World of Warcraft are well hidden. We show you 7 sources of items that you may not know yet.
The majority of housing items in World of Warcraft can be obtained from various vendors or through crafting. However, there are also a lot of rewards that you can get in a somewhat “hidden” way. We want to list 7 different sources from which you can get pretty housing items that you might not have even considered. Have fun!
1. Training of the Withered
If you want the perfect Nightborne look (or simply have a fondness for purple), you will sooner or later want this chair. However, it can only be obtained at the end of the Training of the Withered, which you can start with Thalyssra in Suramar – for this, you need at least 400 Ancient Mana and you must have completed the quests accordingly far.
- Ancient Elven Highback Chair
The Training of the Withered can only be completed once per day and character in “normal” WoW. Therefore, it’s best to make use of “Legion Remix” – because there you can train your Withered every 15 minutes! The chair does not drop guaranteed but can appear with a rating of at least 50 points. Our experience shows that the drop chance is about 20%.
2. Theater performance on the Isle of Tear
Dwarves need goblets, whether they are “real” dwarves with a penchant for mead and beer or Earthen, who don’t actually need real food. However, to get a noble goblet, one must prove acting talent in the theater performance. This takes place at regular intervals on the Isle of Tear – you can check the exact start time in your quest log under “regular events”.
- Councilward’s Jeweled Goblet
The decoration can be earned multiple times per week, not just the first time. However, the goblet is not a guaranteed drop, so one may have to participate in the event more frequently. The final rating seems to be irrelevant for the drop.
3. The rare enemies of Darkshore
In the expansion “Battle for Azeroth,” Darkshore was revamped and became a battlefield between the Alliance and the Horde. Control over the area changes every few days – and with that come many rare enemies, known as Rares. All Rares have a chance to drop one of four different housing items at Darkshore that will appeal to Night Elf fans and Horde fans alike:
- Filigree Moon Sconce
- Elven Temple Brazier
- Forsaken Spiked Brazier
- Banshee Queen’s Banner
Please note that you can defeat these Rares with each character only once “per phase” of Darkshore – not daily. Only when Darkshore switches to your faction again, can you defeat the enemies once more. Of course, you can bypass this lock by simply repeating the farming with multiple characters.
4 more hidden housing rewards can be found on the next page.
