In Path of Exile 2, there is a type of enemy that annoys players with its affix, but with a simple trick, it can no longer harm you.
What type of enemy is it? In Path of Exile 2, all enemies can have different affixes that grant them additional effects and abilities. One of the most annoying affixes is the one that drains mana. It usually comes with additional electrical damage and is marked by a blue ring around the elite mob.
Enemies with this affix can quickly drain your mana. But instead of mindlessly attacking the enemy or even trying to run away from it, you can simply outsmart it.

How to defeat such enemies more easily? Those who panic and flee from the mana drainers without mana are only doing their enemies a favor. The easiest way to avoid running out of mana is to simply stand in front of the enemy.
The affix that drains mana from the enemy only works when you’re near the blue circle. So if your character is not fast enough to run away from the elite enemy, you should just stand still and position yourself next to the monster.
Within the blue circle near the monster, you are close enough to be protected from the affix. There, you can easily defeat the enemy with your usual skills.
