Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: All classes and what distinguishes them in overview

In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 you have six different classes to choose from. We will show you what distinguishes and separates the classes.

If you want to play the PvE missions or the PvP mode in Space Marine 2 after finishing the story, you cannot continue with the Primaris Marine Lieutenant “Titus.” You must choose between six different classes.

The six available Space Marines all have different weapons, abilities, and armor classes. In our overview, you can see what distinguishes the classes.

But first, these are the 6 classes available:

• Strategist
• Attacker
• Scout
• Defender
• Sniper,
• Destroyer

Strategist

• Ability: Auspex Scan
  • Reveals enemies and increases the damage that scanned opponents take
• Primary Weapon:
  • Storm Bolter, Bolt Rifle, Heavy Bolt Rifle, Stalker Bolt Rifle, Bolt Carbine, Plasma Gun, Melter Gun
• Secondary Weapon:
  • Bolt Pistol
• Melee Weapon:
  • Chainsword
• Armor Class:
  • PvE: 3, PvP: 3

Attacker

• Ability: Jump Module
  • A type of jetpack that allows the attacker to jump high and extend their movement
• Primary Weapon:
  • /
• Secondary Weapon:
  • Bolt Pistol, Heavy Bolt Pistol
• Melee Weapon:
  • Chainsword, Energy Hammer, Energy Fist
• Armor Class:
  • PvE: 3, PvP: 2

Scout

• Ability: Grappling Hook Thrower
  • Throw a grappling hook that improves movement and allows you to pull yourself towards enemies with a jump kick
• Primary Weapon:
  • Instigator Bolt Carbine, Occulus Bolt Carbine, Melter Gun
• Secondary Weapon:
  • Bolt Pistol
• Melee Weapon:
  • Combat Knife, Chainsword
• Armor Class:
  • PvE: 2, PvP: 2

Defender

• Ability: Chapter Banner
  • Restores armor for you and your teammates within a certain radius
• Primary Weapon:
  • /
• Secondary Weapon:
  • Bolt Pistol, Plasma Pistol
• Melee Weapon:
  • Chainsword, Energy Fist, Energy Sword
• Armor Class:
  • PvE: 3, PvP: 4

Sniper

• Ability:
  • Can cloak and become nearly invisible
• Primary Weapon:

Destroyer

• Ability:
  • Creates a forward-facing barrier that protects you from enemy projectiles
