Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys (23) explains why she has not wanted to stream Fortnite for a while. She discusses not only what bothers her about the Fortnite stream but also the current situation in the game.
The Twitch streamer Pokimane has been playing Fortnite for almost 2 years. She seemed to like the game and even got immortalized in Fortnite by receiving a own emote.
However, recently she does not want to stream Fortnite on her Twitch channel anymore. She has 2 reasons why she wants to stay away from the game for the time being.
Pokimane stays away from Fortnite
In a match, she was matched with an unknown player. During the game, she explained to her duo partner why she does not enjoy playing Fortnite in her stream anymore.

Too many stream snipers
The main reason why Pokimane does not want to stream Fortnite anymore is the many stream snipers who infiltrate her game. This can certainly be very frustrating.
She says to her duo partner:
“I could play Fortnite for hours. I just don’t want to stream it anymore. I encounter 1 million stream snipers and then I just want to cry.”
Stream snipers often sneak into matches of well-known streamers to eliminate them. This can be quite frustrating for Fortnite streamers when they are pursued and killed in every match.
It’s boring in Fortnite right now
Another reason why the Twitch streamer is not that active in Fortnite is also mentioned in the YouTube video. She said:
“I feel like Fortnite hasn’t brought anything new to the game in a long time.”
She is right because since the launch of Chapter 2 Season 1 we have received almost no new content. The end of the season has also been postponed, making it the longest season that has ever existed in Fortnite.
