For some time now, it has been possible to perform remote trades at the new highest friendship level in Pokémon GO. This way, one can acquire Pokémon that might still be missing from their current collection. You choose some Pokémon that you want to offer, and others can request them.
On Reddit, a trainer reports that he has been enjoying sending gifts for some time now. He has formed and expanded Pokémon GO friendships all over the world. And that enabled him to make a great trade.
The incredibly rare Armored Mewtwo – suddenly in the collection!
As the trainer reports, he reached the highest friends status with a player from Japan, who then requested a costumed Legios. A cool Pokémon, sure – but the trainer found an even better one in his trade partner’s offer.
He had an Armored Mewtwo in his collection and tagged it as tradable. This special Pokémon is incredibly rare, as it hasn’t been in the game for years – and was only briefly available. To this day, the topic comes up frequently that players especially desire this monster. Therefore, it was a huge stroke of luck.
The user sent the trade proposal and didn’t expect success at all: Who would accept such a trade?
