The young Kazuma dies while trying to save a young woman. However, when he stands before the goddess in the afterlife, she mocks him. Because his death was not very heroic at all. He died more out of shock. But the goddess grants him a second life in another world, with a blessing of his choice. Kazuma, angry about the goddess’s mockery, chooses exactly that goddess, who now has to accompany him.
Together with her, Kazuma must now try to solve the problems of this new world, which is threatened by the Demon King.
But not only does the goddess turn out to be completely incompetent, but his other group members also have quite special traits. The magician can summon the most devastating explosion in the world – but only once a day and no other spell. The tank of the group, a pretty blonde, has her quirks: All her attacks miss and she takes a bit too much pleasure when enemies want to attack her…

Why is KonoSuba suitable for WoW fans? Every WoW fan surely remembers one or another dungeon run with their own guild that just didn’t go as planned. Either the mage got lost, the hunter constantly pulled additional groups, or something else went terribly wrong – and yet you had a lot of laughs because the situations were just so wonderfully absurd.
That’s exactly the feeling that watching KonoSuba basically creates all the time. The group consists of four characters who have such a wonderful dynamic that chaos is simply pre-programmed. But in the end, they are all lovable and one grows fond of them – and some may reminisce about long-past adventures they had in their first guild in an MMORPG.
