Why is Goblin Slayer suitable for WoW fans? There is hardly an anime that captures the feeling of a creepy dungeon visit as well as Goblin Slayer. Penetrating a deep lair full of monsters to conquer, using a plethora of tactics and strategies pulled out of one’s hat (or helmet), is found in few other series.

This is garnished with a group of five interesting characters, corresponding to different classes and races, and simply having an intriguing dynamic – some may find themselves reminiscent of ancient dungeon runs from the vanilla version of WoW.

However, one should be aware that Goblin Slayer addresses quite hard and dark themes, which are prominently displayed even in the first episode. It is definitely not a family-friendly series but is clearly aimed at an adult audience.
