The Shi’ar Empire has yet to appear in the MCU, although it plays an important role in the universe. It is a vast empire that includes millions of worlds. To add more, the empire organizes weddings with other cultures. Fans of the X-Men cartoons might recognize this faction.
This empire also includes Kallark, who operates under the name Gladiator and is the leader of the Imperial Guard. This guard consists of members of the empire with powerful superpowers. He joined the Dark Guardians, a splinter group of the Guardians in the comic Guardians of The Galaxy No. 2 (2019). When it was revealed that his leader Starfox was being controlled by Thanos’s mind, he assisted Star-Lord’s team and prevented the villain’s rebirth.
As a Strontian, Gladiator has superhuman strength, endurance, and abilities such as heat vision and a slight resistance to telepaths. However, his physical strength is particularly interesting.
