The Nova Corp. is a sort of space police, most comparable to the DC faction of the Green Lanterns. The most famous member is Richard Rider. Due to the similar responsibilities, he often worked together with the Guardians of the Galaxy (sometimes even against them).

As Nova Prime, Rider has almost full access to the Nova Force, which makes him particularly powerful.
