On Steam, you can play the demo of the new soulslike Morbid: The Lords of Ire since yesterday. What awaits you in the game and its horror world, you can find out here on MeinMMO.
What kind of game is this? Morbid: The Lords of Ire is the successor to the isometric action role-playing game Morbid: The Seven Acolytes from 2020.
Next year, the new installment is set to lure you back into the dark and nightmarish world of Mornia. This time with new 3D graphics, instead of the grim pixel look. Like its predecessor, this new soulslike promises plenty of adventure in a horror world.
When will it be released? There is not yet an exact release date for Morbid: The Lords of Ire. So far, only a release in 2024 is mentioned.
However, on Steam you can play the demo since yesterday, December 5, 2023.

What to expect: As the trailer shows, you can expect many battles against strange and dark creatures in this game. Monsters that look like a huge mass of fused flesh, rotting corpses, insect-like creatures, or a giant bloody mammoth.
The trailer already delivers what the game’s description promises. It states that you must stand your ground against horrific creatures and nightmarish visions in the various areas.

Additionally, Morbid: The Lords of Ire promises you several other features that are supposed to make your gameplay experiences unique:
- Five Worlds of Rage: In five different worlds, you are to face the fight against evil. Among others, in snow-covered mountains, dark underworlds, and corrupted cities.
- Playstyles: Try out new playstyles with many deadly weapons, gear, rounds, and blessings.
- Madness or Reason: Whether you give in to madness or remain of sound mind greatly affects your environment and your perception of the world dynamically. In madness, you are stronger, but the risk is greater. You can also influence your rewards in this way.
