The inventory in Guild Wars 2 is actually always full. The main reason for this are the small runes and sigils. And on November 13, ArenaNet will promptly address this issue.
What happens to the runes and sigils? Runes are needed to enhance armor and sigils for weapons. Both can be obtained by salvaging found armors and weapons.
With the upcoming patch, you can not only throw normal equipment into the salvager but also the runes and sigils themselves, which previously consumed additional inventory space.
From the items, you can obtain the new material Shimmering Dust. Additionally, there is a small chance for symbols and talismans that could only previously be salvaged from low-level gear.
So that you do not have to first salvage the equipment and then the runes or sigils, ArenaNet has simply removed this step. When salvaging, there is now a direct chance for the aforementioned materials instead of a chance for a rune or a sigil.
What do you do with Shimmering Dust? ArenaNet will introduce new recipes for crafting runes and sigils that could previously only be obtained through salvaging.
These recipes can be learned from the crafting teacher or need to be found in the open world. Shimmering Dust will be required for these recipes.

What did the community actually wish for the inventory? The community of Guild Wars 2 has been crying out for years for a change to the runes and sigils. Many have just wished for a simple step to sell them all to the vendor with one click.
The current innovation from ArenaNet has received a lot of positive feedback on Reddit. Players are also curious if ArenaNet will make changes to the sigil of eradication, which has made the Requiem Armor so expensive introduced in September.

What other changes does the patch bring?
The upcoming update on November 13 will bring some new features for us. Just yesterday, we talked about the changes to PvP and the new game mode. Coincidentally, the new PvP season is expected to start on November 13 around 9 PM.
Revision of runes and sigils: ArenaNet plans to abolish random effects on runes:
- For example, the Rune of Dwayna will no longer grant regeneration with a 10% chance on a hit but instead will generally increase the duration of regeneration.
- The Rune of the Ogre now no longer randomly summons a rock dog on a hit, but guarantees it every 60 seconds.
- A change will also be made to the popular Scholar Rune. You will no longer deal 10% more damage while health is above 90%, but only 5%. To compensate, there will be a permanent +125 Ferocity bonus.
With the sigils, the change to the Sigil of Concentration stands out, which has previously played an important role in the raid meta. This sigil previously provided a 33% increase in boon duration for 7 seconds upon weapon swap. In the future, this sigil will grant a permanent 10% increase in boon duration.
New sharpening stones and maintenance oils: In addition to classic buff food, there will also be improvements, often referred to as wrench buffs.
Here there will be new sharpening stones and maintenance oils that are intended to increase variation and potentially create new alternative builds in PvE. However, those who wish to read up on the current meta can do so in our article on classes.
