The Anime of Solo Leveling is very popular among fans. Now fans can not only watch characters like Sung Jin-woo on screen, but also hold them as cards in their own hands.
What will this project be about? At the BCG Fest in Las Vegas, on February 14th/15th, 2026, collectible card players got their first look at new cards for Solo Leveling. The anime is not released as a standalone card game, but will appear as a booster pack within Bandai Namco’s card game Union Arena.
There will be a total of 80 collectible cards plus 12 AP cards. The AP cards are the resource system of the game, used to cover the costs of playing cards. Each pack contains 12 cards that are randomly assembled.
The booster pack is set to be released on March 20, 2026, at a cost of $4.99. In Germany, you can obtain them from various retailers for a similar euro price. The cards will be available in either Japanese or English, unfortunately, there will not be cards in German.
At Union Arena, numerous anime cards use the same rule set. There are countless crossovers with well-known animes, allowing players to pit their deck of Jujutsu Kaisen against a deck from Bleach. The game originally launched in March 2023 in Japan and will have an English version by the end of 2024.

How are fans reacting? On X, user yellowpantherx uploaded a picture and a video of the new cards. They showcase Sung Jin-woo and some comrades from his shadow army. Additionally, characters like Cha Haei-in and his little sister, with whom he has an unhealthy relationship in a fan project, are also featured as sparkling cards.
Numerous comments express excitement about the cards and wish to collect them all. They find the art style of the cards incredible and believe they would look great on display. One fan even makes a reference to the title Solo Leveling Arise and writes: “Arise… my credit card.”
What about Season 3? Here, the card game seems to have to fill the gap, as there have been no new updates on Season 3 of Solo Leveling for months. There has not been an official announcement yet, but several parties have already confirmed that a continuation of the anime is still a long way off.
