In Call of Duty: Warzone you can find red access cards again. Some players have already tested these and found loot. But there are other key cards and new secrets.
What’s new in Warzone? Today, on August 5, 2020, Season 5 launched in Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone. A variety of new content awaits players, who can now even frolic in the open stadium. But what would a new season be without secrets? Since the server opening in Season 5, players have been finding red access cards again. These mysterious cards were already a big topic months ago.
In addition, there are cards marked with numbers and letters like “P2-16”. We will show you what we know so far about the new findings.
Find and use red access cards in Season 5
What we know: In matches of Call of Duty: Warzone, players find red access cards that are currently falling out of the loot boxes again. You can use these to unlock bunkers. And there, a lot of loot awaits you.
YouTuber AdaKer documented the entire process in a video. You can see at the beginning how he finds the red access card and then visits a bunker with it. He then opens it and finds a large area inside with some loot boxes. We are embedding the video here for you:
How can you find the access cards? Currently, we are still at the very beginning of this season. It seems that the cards are distributed randomly. However, we expect more info on this in the coming days.
You can recognize if you have already picked up one of these red access cards by looking at the bottom left next to your name. If a red key is shining there, you have one of the coveted cards with your character and can use it to open a bunker.
Bunker in Season 5 returned and full of loot
Using a red access card: If you have found such a card, you drive to one of the bunkers, like you see in AdaKer’s video. Open the bunker at the entrance, follow the corridor, and you will land in a room full of loot boxes.

New key cards in Season 5?
What else has been found? On reddit player Furmano1 reports that alongside the red access cards, additional access cards have also been found. These would have four positions where numbers and letters are located.
“For example, I found ‘P2-16’ and ‘El-21’. In the corridors of the stadium, we also found locked doors with an access code that is 6 characters long.”
Some players already have ideas and solutions about what these number access cards are about. “P2-16 opened a locked door in the eastern underground parking garage on the lower level,” writes AzraelReaper. He assumes that P1 stands for parking deck 1 and P2 stands for parking deck 2. Additionally, the card opened another door at the western entrance and two more. “The one I opened had a computer inside that displayed many symbols and had about 3 characters or so.”
AzraelReaper (via reddit) suspects that you would need to open two rooms to then receive a complete code. He found the card for the rooms simply lying on the ground by a cleaning bucket in the north.
So far, players suspect they have deciphered the following abbreviations:
- EL = Elevator (also lift) or Elevated Level (also the higher level)
- P2 = Parking 2 (also the second parking deck)
- CL = Here, there is disagreement; possibly Concession Lobby
