In Throne and Liberty, there is a new random search for co-op dungeons, and you have a chance of seven percent to hit the jackpot. A lucky player opened three out of four chests and thus even cracked a probability of 1 in 750.
This is how much luck the player has: A player in Throne and Liberty participated in the new random search for co-op dungeons. This has only been available since update 1.4 and is very popular due to the special reward. In this mode, you not only receive the normal loot chest after defeating the final boss.
The player also receives a “Random Player Search Rewards” chest, which contains the chance for very rare loot. With a probability of only seven percent, you can draw a Dimensional Essence: Redemption from the chest. One player was especially lucky and shared this on Reddit.
Do you have to spend real money in Throne and Liberty to be successful:
“Put him in jail!”
Too much luck is outrageous; some players even want to see him in jail for this. The Reddit user TensaExile shared his lucky haul on Reddit and received recognition but also envy for it. Out of only four “Random Player Search Rewards” chests, he received three Dimensional Essence: Redemption. With this, he cracked the chance of 1:750 and can consider himself very lucky:

- Fairyonfire approaches it mathematically (via Reddit): “3 essences from 4 chests is around 0.13%, so less than a chance of 1:750.”
What else is in the chest? Not all players had as much luck; many have gone empty-handed so far. Still, the new random search is worthwhile. Because aside from the essence, the “Random Player Search Rewards” chest also contains a guaranteed reward. You also receive a “Dimensional Soul Shard Selection Chest.”
From this selection chest, you can choose a soul shard and thus have a total of five soul shards per dungeon you enter via random search instead of four. To create an essence at an NPC, you need the proud sum of 60 soul shards. Therefore, the random search is worthwhile even without the jackpot; you just need a bit more patience.
