Which caster is it about? Jake Osypenko is better known to the LoL community as Hysterics. Since January 2024, he has been a caster for the LEC, the European League of LoL, originally from Australia, he currently lives in Berlin according to LinkedIn. In a new YouTube video, he has now announced that he will be leaving the LEC in 2027 and beyond.
Over a month ago, a very rare disease was diagnosed in his 7-month-old daughter. This disease, according to him, requires constant examination and ongoing medical care. To ensure the best possible medical support, he and his family are moving back to Australia. They need the support of their family, and there is also a language barrier in Germany.
In his video, Hysterics also addresses the fans. He thanks them for their support, but also for the constructive criticism over the past years. He mentions that he has not been able to achieve many of his goals, and it felt like he was letting his fans down. However, he does not regret his decision.
This difficult decision also affects the community, which wishes Hysterics all the best and thanks the caster for his work.

When exactly will Hysterics stop? In his video, he announces that he will give everything for the Summer Split of the LEC once more. This starts on July 24 and goes until August 30. After that, there will also be the Summer Playoffs, which are set to end on September 20.
What happens afterward, Hysterics does not yet know himself, but he wants to stay in the scene, if it is possible from Australia. Besides this, he also has his own projects and content that he is working on.
