In Pokémon GO you can catch the new monster Morpeko. And you should better do it soon.
What’s going on in Pokémon GO? In the game Halloween, Part 1 has started. This brought different things to Pokémon GO – above all the debut of Morpeko.
Morpeko is a special monster, as it has the ability to change its form in battles against other players or Team Rocket. Then its attack even changes the type – an exciting ability when you want to surprise the opponent.
The thing is: You should definitely catch this Pokémon during the event, which lasts until October 28 at the latest. After that, it will be difficult to obtain.
How to catch Morpeko now/during the event in Pokémon GO
Currently, you can use the following ways to get Morpeko relatively easily.
- It is hiding behind the field research “Win 2 Raids,” which you can collect.
- A specimen is also available in the limited Kryppuk research that runs during the event. Complete the task “Catch 108 Ghost or Dark Pokémon” for this.
- You can also encounter Morpeko currently in the Battle League. The chance is higher on the Premium path, but it is available at all ranks on the normal path.
- The paid research “Morpeko Introduction” includes 5 specimens, but the research costs 5.99 euros.
Why do I need to hurry? As it stands, Morpeko can only be caught during the Halloween event through the above-mentioned ways.
After that, there will only be one way: The PvP Battle League. However, Morpeko will only be available there starting from Rank 16, then as a reward.
This means: From this point on, you will have to play many more Battle League matches and first rank up before you have a chance to get another Morpeko.
Therefore: Take this opportunity now and grab it during the event.
What else is coming up in Pokémon GO? A real major event is coming soon: The Nature Zone is set to become the big autumn event in Pokémon GO, following the GO Tour and the GO Fest. The Nature Zone will feature the debut of Riffex, its Gigantamax form and the return of the primal forms of Dialga and Palkia. In addition, a new ball will appear in Pokémon GO – more info here.
