Didn’t get a Flattutu in Pokémon GO? No worries, you can still catch up.
What is Flattutu? Flattutu is a Psychic-type Pokémon that can evolve into Psiopatra for 50 candies. It comes from the 9th Pokémon generation.
Flattutu recently made its debut in Pokémon GO, during the Spring Marathon. It could be hatched from 5-kilometer eggs. Additionally, Flattutu was available as a reward from level 30 of the Event GO Pass.
However, it could not be encountered in the wild. So those who missed out on hatching a Flattutu or completing the GO Pass during the event might be left empty-handed.
But luckily, Flattutu is not disappearing completely from the game!
Where can I find Flattutu in Pokémon GO now?
Currently, you can obtain Flattutu from 10-km eggs. You can get these from PokéStops or gyms with a bit of luck.
As usual, Flattutu shares the egg pool with other Pokémon. Right now, in the 10-km eggs, you can find:
- Flattutu
- Kapuno
- Gramokles
- Bähmon
- Grolldra
- Knarbon
- Forgita
- Ignivor (rare)
So you have a chance to hatch various interesting Pokémon. But this also means you’ll likely have to walk more to hatch the desired Pokémon – as which Pokémon hatches is still left to chance.
Is Flattutu worth it? Primarily, Flattutu is worth it for completing the Pokédex, and the same goes for Psiopatra. Neither of them is particularly relevant in PvP or PvE. The shiny variant is also not currently available. Still, it’s worth pursuing the 10-km egg for that complete Pokédex.
Basically, the marathon event was one that lived up to its name by focusing on running. A lot of eggs could be hatched – and a special Pikachu could be earned. It had a costume but was not easy to obtain. How our MeinMMO editor Sophia managed to do it effortlessly with her secret weapon, you can read here.
