The next event in Pokémon GO is waiting for you. This time, Flattutu including its evolution and a new, costumed monster will be featured.
What is this event about? On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM, the Spring Marathon will start in Pokémon GO. The event will run until Monday, May 18, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
How do I catch Flattutu? During the event, you can capture Flattutu for the first time, the Psychic monster from Generation 9. You can also evolve it into Psiopatra for 50 candies.
According to the event name, you can earn the new monster by hatching 5km eggs that you received during the event.

What monsters are available in the event? Besides Flattutu, you can also get Pikachu with Marathon Visor for the first time during the event. You will receive this monster, along with 21,000 experience points, when you complete the free, limited-time research for the event.
In addition to Flattutu, the following monsters await you in 5km eggs:
- Pichu with flower crown*
- Togepi with flower crown*
- Wonneira with flower crown*
If you go out and complete field research, you can also encounter event monsters like Evoli with cherry blossoms and Haspiror with flower crown.
What bonuses are available in the event? During the Spring Marathon, there will once again be a separate GO Pass available, valid until the end of the event. As usual, there will be a free and a paid version.
If you reach the first milestone here, you will unlock double the amount of experience points for spinning PokéStops until the end of the event (triple the amount if you have the Deluxe version of the pass). At the 2nd milestone, you will unlock halved hatch distance for hatching eggs.
If you are aiming for the new monster Flattutu, it could be worthwhile for you to unlock the 2nd milestone to hatch eggs faster.
In addition, the free version of the GO Pass offers the following rewards among others:
