In Pokémon GO, the Pii hatch day has been announced. We have looked into when the event will take place and what to expect there.

What kind of event is this? The Pii hatch day is an event where hatching eggs and the Pokémon Pii are in the foreground. Pii is a Fairy-type Pokémon from the 2nd generation and can evolve into Piepi and subsequently into Pixi. You can only obtain Pii by hatching eggs.

When is the event? The event will start on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM and will end after 3 hours at 5:00 PM.

Great bonuses for hatching and increased shiny chance

What bonuses will there be at the event? While the event is ongoing, you can look forward to the following in-game bonuses:

• Double the amount of candies for hatched Pokémon
• Pii will be more frequent in 2 km eggs
• Increased chance to hatch a shiny Pii from 2 km eggs
• 2 km eggs will be more frequently available from PokéStops
• Halved hatch distance for eggs (this bonus applies to all eggs placed in incubators from Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM to Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM)
• Free limited research that provides a super incubator and experience points (must be completed before the end of the event)

What else will there be at the event? During the event, there will also be field research related to the event. This will also be active starting Friday, April 26, at 10:00 AM and will end with the event. Here you can earn stardust and experience points.

You can also purchase a ticket for a paid limited research for 1 $ (approximately 1 €). This will grant you double stardust for hatching Pokémon during the event, as well as a star piece, a super incubator, and experience points.

Additionally, there will be a box available in the Pokémon GO Webstore for 19.99 $ (approximately 19.99 €), which includes 15 super incubators, 10 regular incubators, and 5 Knursp.
