In Pokémon GO, the first hints about the new transformer Rotom have been found. A data miner discovered initial icons for this Pokémon from the 4th generation.

- Rotom can take on 5 different forms in addition to its normal form. It is somewhat comparable to Deoxys, which can also take on 4 forms.
- The special thing is that Rotom can take on the forms of electrical devices. For example, there is a washing machine or a lawnmower version of Rotom.

- Frost Rotom (Fridge)

- Fan Rotom (Fan)
- Cutting Rotom (Lawnmower)
- and the normal form.
Is Rotom coming now? So far, only these 6 icons for Rotom have been found. The actual sprites, which show what Rotom will look like in the game, have not yet been found. In addition, other things like the moves or sounds of the Pokémon are also missing.
It will take some time before Rotom arrives. However, it shows that work is already being done on this Pokémon and that it will obviously come to Pokémon GO in all 6 forms.
Data miners continuously find new things in the code of Pokémon GO that are then implemented later. Like the Pikachu and Eevee with flower accessories.
This is how Rotom was obtained in other games: It will definitely be interesting how Niantic intends to implement Rotom in Pokémon GO. In the console games, the normal form of Rotom could only be caught in specific locations. The Rotom could only be transformed in the “Rotom room”, a secret room where the respective electrical devices were located.
How this feature will be implemented in Pokémon GO remains to be seen. There are currently no special areas in the mobile game.
