Players are trying the craziest things in Crimson Desert. So did a player who made it his mission to stop a train by any means possible and ultimately succeeded with something inconspicuous.
What did the player attempt? YouTuber BjornTheBear wondered during his sessions whether the train that runs around the Delesyia region could be stopped. After all, in many games, like GTA 5, you can stand on your head and throw everything at this companion – but you can’t stop them.
So he grabbed everything he could find. All weapons, cannons, abilities, elements, mounts, mechs, and even the dragon – none of it left a scratch nor even began to stop the train.
In his video, you can see his elaborate attempt (accompanied by appropriate music) to counter the train with everything he could find, only to be run over repeatedly or disappointed. Until a rather inconspicuous idea suddenly brought initial results.

How did the player stop the train? After BjornTheBear got nowhere with the mighty mech and the dragon, he brought out smaller artillery and threw an entire tree at the train. And lo and behold: The train was briefly slowed down by the tree. The foundation for further experiments was laid.
Quickly, the YouTuber threw larger trees onto the tracks, but it was individual chopped logs that even temporarily stopped the train. So it was: More wood on the tracks. And what happened next, you can see here starting at 2:30 min:
The decisive difference was not the sheer mass of wooden blocks, but one. It wedged itself vertically with the front of the train and ultimately brought it to a stop. Although the block shattered, the train remained in place.
Fans feel reminded of GTA
What does the community say about his attempt? In the comments under the video, many players feel reminded of GTA 5, in which it was absolutely impossible to stop the train in any way. At the same time, they already believe that this challenge will also be present in the upcoming GTA 6, and thus Crimson Desert offers a good preparation.
Others celebrate the YouTuber’s achievement and feel encouraged to experiment themselves. @g9blin603 reports his own experience with the train: “I stood on it for an hour and a half and then rode for a round, and in the middle of a tunnel, it stopped. I don’t know how to get it moving again.”
Others are already joking that developer Pearl Abyss will soon release a patch that will force players to find new ways to stop the train – or they will fail.
