Path of Exile launches tomorrow into its new league “Keepers of the Flame”, bringing new mechanics, rewards, and build options. We have summarized the most important innovations for you in under 2 minutes.
When does Keepers of the Flame start? The new league in Path of Exile starts on October 31, 2025, at 8:00 PM German time. Expect a huge influx of players wanting to climb the ladder. Long queues and server issues are therefore expected.
What changes with the new league? The league’s theme revolves around the Breach system (source: pathofexile.com). Monstrous beings want to invade Wraeclast, and with the help of a secret cult, you try to crush the threat.
The Breach system is set to be expanded, even granting you two new arms on your back that fight independently for you. Additionally, 10 more classes will join, providing new build diversity. Along with new crafting items and the Genesis tree, this offers even more options to empower your character.
One of the biggest highlights, however, is the revamped trading system from Path of Exile 2, as it will finally be implemented in the predecessor.
Are there challenges again? Yes, there are. Overall, GGG challenges you to complete up to 40 optional challenges once again. If you complete enough, you will be rewarded with the armor “Keeper of the Flame Armour Set”.
