In Palworld you can increase 5 values. But which of them is the most worthwhile? MeinMMO explains what is most beneficial.
When do I get skill points? With each level up, you receive a valuable skill point that you can distribute to your abilities. The highest level is 65. You can read how to level up quickly in Palworld on MeinMMO.
What values are there? Currently, there are 6 different values, of which you can increase 5:
- Health: Describes how many hit points you have.
- Stamina: How much endurance you possess in the game.
- Weight: Explains how much you can carry before becoming overloaded.
- Work speed: How quickly you build things or craft items.
- Attack: Describes how much damage you deal to opponents.
- Defense: Explains how much protection you have. This value cannot be increased with points, only enhanced with armor.
Can I reset skills if necessary? Yes, at level 43 you can unlock a medicine that resets your values. Until then, you should be careful about which values you invest your points in.
Palworld: The best builds and values
Which values should I increase? The values you should focus on increasing the most are Weight, Stamina, and Health, for the following reasons:
- Weight: Especially at the beginning, it’s helpful if you can carry a lot of stuff with you. Especially items like iron ore, wood, and later sulfur require a lot of space. This means you have to return to the base less often. The Pal Cattiva temporarily increases your weight as long as you have it equipped.
- Stamina: Also important, as stamina affects how long you can run, attack, or gather resources. The more you have, the longer you can last. It’s also useful for gliding.
- Health: Important so you don’t get taken out too quickly. Later, you can also use a strong shield. However, you should not underestimate hit points. The shield does not protect you from fall damage.
You should prioritize Stamina and Weight and also consistently invest points in Health.
Which should I neglect?
- Attack: This value is hardly worth it, as the 10 damage points you deal per additional point hardly matter, especially when your weapons deal several hundred damage at once.
- Work speed: Initially, it may seem like an interesting bonus. Later, it doesn’t matter for your base, as your value doesn’t influence the values of the Pals. And since your Pals are primarily doing the work, you shouldn’t increase this value.
Why should you do this? Most of the time, you leave the hard work to your Pals in the base, and even in combat, your Pals take on a big part of the workload. Your damage primarily depends on the weapon (and the Pal) you choose.
Stamina and Weight are the only values that have a significant impact on your day-to-day experience in the game. Hit points help you survive longer.
