In Palworld you can create your own field with tomatoes. First, you’ll need tomato seeds. Where to get them and how to grow tomatoes with them, you can read here.
What do you need tomatoes for in Palworld? Tomatoes are mainly used as food and as an ingredient in cooking. You can feed them directly to Pals, increasing their saturation and boosting their mental health.
We will show you where to find seeds for planting and how to plant your tomatoes. Afterwards, you can read in which dishes you can use your freshly grown tomatoes.
Here you can find tomato seeds
You can obtain tomato seeds in two different ways – either as loot from defeated Pals or from wandering merchants. The first option is especially recommended, as you can also get two seeds from a single defeated Pal with some luck.
You can obtain 1-2 seeds with some luck from the following Pals:
- Broncherry
- Alpha Broncherry
- Dinossom Lux
- Alpha Dinossom Lux
While there are other Pals that can drop single seeds, these 4 are the easiest and quickest to defeat and therefore the most effective way to quickly obtain many seeds.
Here you can find most Broncherry in one place:

And here you can find most Dinossum Lux:

If you’d rather lay down some gold, you can also buy tomato seeds from the following merchants for around 200 gold per seed:
- Merchant in the fishing village at -483, -749
- Merchant in the desert city at 359, 348
How to grow tomatoes
To grow tomatoes, you need a tomato field. You can unlock this at level 32 in the technology tree. You will need two technology points for that.
Once you’ve done that, find a suitable spot for your field and gather the following materials:
- Tomato seeds x 3
- Pal Juice x 5
- Stones x 50
- Wood x 70
Once your tomato field is ready for use, you need to assign Pals to take care of it. The best Pals for this are Broncherry, Lyleen, Caprity, Verdash, or Mammorest.
Especially Broncherry is a good choice at the beginning. Here you can kill two birds with one stone, and while you farm the seeds, you can catch a few Broncherry at the same time.
These dishes need tomatoes as an ingredient
With the tomatoes you’ve now grown, you can either feed your Pals directly or use them as an ingredient in other dishes.
The following dishes include tomatoes as an ingredient:
- Salad: Lettuce x2, Tomato x2
- Omelette: Tomato x1, Egg x2
- Pizza: Flour x1, Red Berries x2, Tomato x2, Milk x2
- Mozzarina Cheeseburger: Mozzarina Meat x2, Flour x1, Tomato x2, Milk x2
- Dumud Chowder: Raw Dumud x1, Lettuce x2, Tomato x1
- Reindrix Stew: Reindrix Meat x1, Tomato x2
- Minestrone: Tomato x3, Carrot x2, Onion x2, Potato x1
If you use your tomatoes as an ingredient in a dish, the effect on the saturation of your Pals is stronger than if you use them raw. Additionally, you benefit from the extra effects that these dishes provide.
