Yuri!!! on ICE is a story with a lot of heart, told with a good dose of humor, and the sports sequences are also fun – among other things, because they are really beautiful. You can tell with what passion the team worked on it.
When I learned about the end of production, I was incredibly disappointed and sad. The series is still important to me after seven years, and for some other stories, the wait was worth it after all.
Think of the sporadic updates for Berserk while Kentaro Miura was still alive. Or also Hunter X Hunter and D. Gray-man. Even Black Butler is currently getting another anime adaptation after the last movie for it (!) was released in 2017.
And how will it go for Mappa now? For Mappa, not much will change for the time being.
The studio has presumably already signed contracts for a whole range of other series that are currently in planning and production.
As for me, the topic of Studio Mappa is closed. But not Yuri!!! on ICE.
On my way home tonight, I will listen to the opening History Maker by Dean Fujioka on repeat. The series is still live on Crunchyroll today. Since it is self-contained, you can easily stream it even today.
History Maker roughly translates to something like “History Writer.” And that’s exactly what Yuri!!! on ICE has done for many fans, but also for Mappa: The series has made anime history.
In LEGO Fortnite, amber is an important resource for upgrading your settlement and equipment. Where to find it and what you can do with it can be found out on MeinMMO.
Where can I find amber? To find amber, you need to go to the desert region, specifically the Drought Valley in LEGO Fortnite, where you can also find softwood. However, this material is not as easily accessible as cacti, for example. For amber, you sometimes have to climb on rocks.
As a precaution, take regular wood with you in case you want to build stairs to reach the spots on the rocks. Additionally, you need a pickaxe that is at least “uncommon” (green) to mine the material.
Amber is located on rocks in the Drought Valley.
To reach the golden knots on and around the black rocks in the Drought Valley, you can try to reach them with a built staircase. If you have a glider, you can climb an even higher rock and glide over. However, you can also simply walk on some rocks – be sure to look around.
Where is the Drought Valley? The Drought Valley is a warm to hot region in LEGO Fortnite and is recognizable by the brown areas on the map. If you see golden dots on the black rocks there, you should head there because: that’s amber.
The geysers can also prove to be helpful sometimes. The holes in the ground shoot water up when you stand on them – and catapult you into the air.

What do I need amber for? With amber, you can build various crafting tables for your settlement, decoration, and useful equipment in LEGO Fortnite. Here are a few items for which you need this material:
Gem Cutter
Essence Table
Glassware, Oil, and Pan
Rare Forest Axe
Condition Charm
For some of these, uncut, or raw amber is sufficient. For others, however, you need to process the amber into cut amber using the gem cutter.
For the Gem Cutter, you need raw amber...and for the Rare Forest Axe, you need cut amber.

After the brand new LIVE TOTS was released last Friday, it’s already time for the highly anticipated Premier League TOTS this coming Friday.
When exactly does the Premier League TOTS come? The start date for the first major league TOTS is Friday, April 26 at 7:00 PM. From this point onwards, the new cards of the Premier League TOTS will be live, and the special cards from the Live TOTS will no longer be available in packs.

The Predictions for the Premier League TOTS in EA FC 24
What are TOTS Predictions? TOTS Predictions are community forecasts for the Team of the Season. It attempts to guess which players may earn a spot in the TOTS based on their strong seasonal performances.
However, keep in mind that these predictions are not guarantees. The final TOTS may differ significantly from the predictions.
This is how you get the new cards: The new and especially coveted cards of the Premier League Team of the Season are not easy to obtain. The safest method should be the Weekend League. If you perform well there, you will be rewarded with guaranteed TOTS cards, which are random.
Otherwise, you can hope for “Pack Luck” and open saved packs, or try your luck in a TOTS SBC (Squad Building Challenge). Guaranteed TOTS SBCs were usually released on Wednesdays or Thursdays after the respective team was announced. There, you submit a number of cards in exchange for a random TOTS player.

Netflix has announced the production of the series “Last Samurai Standing”: a “Battle Royale” in the Japan of the samurai. The series is based on an award-winning novel from 2021. The lead actor Junichi Okada has become infatuated with the manga. The plot of the series sounds like the Netflix hit Squid Game, but with samurai.
What is the plot?
The award-winning novel “Ikusagami” by Shogo Inamura has also been adapted into a manga.
The story is set in the late 19th century on the way from Kyoto to Tokyo. 292 talented warriors, masterless samurai, are lured into a temple with the promise of immense wealth, where the death game begins. In today’s currency, it amounts to 600 million euros.
However, the huge reward proves to be a bait that traps the samurai: just like in “Squid Game,” the losers of each round die until only one remains to claim the prize money.

What did the critics say? In reviews of the manga, the story strongly resembles the narratives behind Squid Game or Battle Royale. Although the samurai appear armed in the temple, they first think it is a joke. They are told: They must overcome 7 checkpoints on the way to Tokyo.
Especially desperate fighters accept the dubious offer, hoping for the prize money. To move from station to station, the samurai need “points.”

What the author says: Inamura says he was excited by the offer: he wrote the novel with the intention of creating a historical novel that is read worldwide. What the lead actor says: Junichi Okada (43), a former pop star and member of an icon band, says he has been considering how to make historical themes grand, not just in Japan but worldwide. When he discovered the manga and realized that he could reach a global audience with language and style, he was excited about the idea of bringing the project to life.
What Netflix says: They note that it could be quite challenging to adapt the material. After all, they have nearly 300 actors, and each needs a unique costume. This requires effort from the entire team.
