The addons Planetary Landings and The Engineers for Elite: Dangerous are making their way to Xbox One.
Those who play the space game Elite Dangerous on Xbox One currently have access to fewer content than PC players. The Horizons addon with planetary landings and the upcoming expansion The Engineers are not yet available for Xbox players.
Addons will be available soon for Xbox One
However, this will change soon. The developers announced that the expansions Planetary Landings and The Engineers, which are included in the Horizons package, will be released in June. While a specific date has not yet been mentioned, it is definitely expected to be before the end of June. With Planetary Landings, players will be able to land on planets and drive around in a type of tank, while The Engineers introduces customization and crafting options for the spaceships.
Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous Horizons are fully compatible with each other. Thus, those who do not own the addons can still play with all other players in the same universe. They just cannot utilize the new content.
The space in Virtual Reality
Anyone who owns a virtual reality headset has the opportunity to play Elite Dangerous in VR. The developers remind players of this by releasing a new trailer that highlights and showcases the VR capabilities. However, there was a small issue. It was not entirely clear whether Elite Dangerous is compatible with the Oculus Rift headset. Support for it was announced and it was playable on the dev kits, but then the developers decided to support SteamVR. With the new trailer, they want to show that Elite Dangerous is indeed compatible with the Oculus Rift VR headset.

The online shooter Planetside 2 received a major update that introduced the Construction System for building bases.
Base building had been in a testing phase since the end of last year, but now the update is officially live. This somewhat resembles the real-time strategy classic Dune 2 or Command & Conquer. You call in Advanced Nanite Transports (ANTs) to go across the map searching for the resource Cortium. You collect it, and once you have enough, you can deploy the collector and start building a base. The buildings are then paid for with Cortium.
Build your own base
Cortium allows buildings to be set up quickly. It is therefore not only a resource but also a kind of booster. It should be noted that Cortium is only available in limited quantities. This means that fierce battles will break out around the resources, as everyone wants to collect as much of the mineral as possible. Therefore, the ANT must also be protected. Four players can fit in an ANT, providing a kind of escort that is urgently needed.
When placing buildings like turrets, bunkers, or garages, you have relatively free reign. You can see exactly where there is space and where construction is possible. In this way, you construct a custom base in the game. This serves as a refuge but must also be defended.
The Cortium must flow!
Cortium is more than just a resource needed for building structures. It is fuel for the “HIVE” (Hardline Interference Volume Emitter), which produces victory points. The HIVE must therefore be protected and continuously supplied with Cortium. These bases offer new tactical options in Planetside 2.

In Destiny a patch will be deployed tonight on May 3rd. Here’s what’s behind it.
Tonight at 7:00 PM a patch will go live for Destiny on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
Bungie states: Players must log back into Destiny after returning to the title screen to install the patch. Guardians should not be removed from activities they are currently participating in, according to Bungie.
The reason for the patch: Bungie wants to change the netcode for Destiny, so that melee combat becomes better and players no longer “whiff” because their Guardian is not where they see them, but actually in a different location.
Tonight, nothing will change directly with the patch, instead, new code will be deployed which Bungie will observe for a week to see if it causes any issues. Next Tuesday at 7:00 PM the new melee code will become active. Bungie will also observe this to disable it in case of any difficulties.
Patch notes for the Destiny hotfix 2.2.0.2 on 03.05.2016
Patch notes for hotfix 2.2.0.2 are available this time, even in German from Bungie:
Character
The following changes to melee combat will be manually activated on: Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00 PST (19:00 CEST). For an overview of the changes, read the latest “This Week at Bungie-” article.

Melee attack validation logic and player position networking will be adjusted during melee attacks to improve reliability across the network
Activities
The chests in the original challenge modes of the Prison of Elders (Level 32, 34, 35) now drop loot normally again
A bug has been fixed where no ghosts appeared above the player’s light level in the weekly Nightfall strike

A new anime-style game is coming to Europe in 2016. The trailer provides a first look at “Twin Saga.”
Players fight for the fate of humanity
A new game from Aeria Games embraces the anime look with a cute aesthetic. Twin Saga offers colorful action with flashy effects, interesting combos, and some unique features. In addition to the ability to switch and customize the character’s class, there is also a “mobile” housing system, apparently in the form of moving creatures that you can make your cozy home out of.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBk62VdHUFE
Also typical of Asia is the story of the game: Two goddesses were in conflict with each other, which ultimately ended in a great battle. While one goddess wanted to destroy humanity, the goal of the second was to keep them alive – unfortunately, the second goddess lost the fight. Now it is up to the players to convince the winner that humanity is worth saving from extinction. The players are literally the last hope for the survival of their species.
While there is still no fixed release date for Europe, it is expected to appear in 2016 – a prior beta phase is almost a given.
We will keep an eye on the game for you and report as soon as there is concrete information about the start of the beta or the release in Europe.

The latest patch of WildStar continues the story and improves the tutorials. In addition, there are new items available in the shop.
The Chamber of the Archon beckons story lovers
Tomorrow, on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, a new patch will be released for WildStar, which will be deployed to the live servers. The highlight of the update 1.5.1 is the “Chamber of the Archon,” the latest part of the story of WildStar. The players have been tasked by the Guardian to visit the Chamber of the Archon. There, the Archon of the Eldan, Jariel, has hidden important information about Nexus and the Eldan’s legacy.
In addition to the bitter cold (which can even lead to death), players will also have to face several puzzles here in order to be rewarded with knowledge (and of course loot) in the end.
New shop system and tutorials
Additionally, there are a few more minor changes. The shop now has a new section, the “Premium Station.” Items are offered exclusively for players with premium status, some of which are time-limited before they become available to all players in the regular shop.
Also new are extended tutorials that reveal what WildStar has to offer immediately after the Ark ship. This way, players get an early glimpse of housing, mounts, instances, and all the other types of content that can be experienced on Nexus.
Some items in the shop are exclusive to premium players – thick mounts are certainly part of that.
Finally, a welcome and farewell screen has been introduced. Here, the latest activities in the game are displayed, such as special weekends (bonus XP, more prestige, etc.) or events like the Halloween event. The daily rewards for logging in and updates in the shop are also promoted here.
Mein-MMO says: Although the Premium Station sounds like a nice bonus for subscribers, it is nothing more than another hurdle to obtain items from the shop. While players can also achieve premium status as “free” players through CREDD, hiding shop items behind even more barriers does not sound like a good idea. The new tutorials and the purchasable option to jump directly to “desired” content, such as housing, sound quite promising – just in time before the game is available on Steam.

In Destiny, you need to break high scores in the Challenge of the Elders to earn rewards. We provide you with tips on how to reach the required points.
Since the April update, there is the Challenge of the Elders in Destiny, a new endgame PvE activity in the Prison of Elders. Weekly progress in this mode is recorded on the Elders Seal, a type of scorecard. Every Tuesday, the progress is reset.
On the Elders Seal, you can achieve two objectives per week, which need to be completed in the Challenge of the Elders:
You must achieve a high score of 30,000 points in a single attempt. In a Challenge of the Elders, you need to survive three rounds in the Prison of Elders.
Additionally, you need to accumulate 90,000 points within a week. Here, points from all attempts are added together. You can also earn these points with different fireteams.
Once you have achieved these objectives, you can collect rewards from Variks, including delicious weapons and armor.
How to Break High Scores in the Challenge of the Elders
To participate in the Challenge of the Elders, you need a minimum light level of 290; the recommended level is 320. Additionally, you can only start the challenge after purchasing the Elders Seal from Variks for 100 Glimmer.
How to Efficiently Gather Points for High Scores:
Pay attention to the modifiers: On the Elders Seal, you will find the weekly kill bonus modifiers that grant you extra points. For instance, this week, super kills are worth more points.
Achieve precision kills: When you eliminate enemies with precision hits, you score more points. Especially against weak opponents, you can rack up many additional points. Take a few extra moments for your shots, but make sure the bullet achieves a precision hit.
Don’t dawdle: If you take too long to eliminate the boss of each round, Variks will deduct points from you. Therefore, you should move swiftly through the Prison of Elders. You need to find a balance between engaging the enemies offensively and not getting defeated yourself.
Quickly defeat the “small” enemies: During your fight against the boss, waves of additional enemies will keep appearing. As soon as they enter the stage, you should focus solely on them. This prevents you from being overwhelmed and also generates important points. Once they are defeated, return your attention to the boss.
Use your super frequently: You also earn points by generating orbs of light. Therefore, it is advisable to use your super as often as possible. This week, points from super kills are increased, making it particularly worthwhile to use the super.
If you feel you haven’t scored enough points for the high score after the first round, don’t give up: Round 2 has a higher score multiplier than the first round, and in Round 3, you can earn more points than in Round 2. So don’t throw in the towel too early.

Will No Man’s Sky come with VR support? Here’s what the developers say.
In an interview with IGN, the founder of Hello Games, Sean Murray, discusses a possible VR support for the upcoming space survival game No Man’s Sky. However, he does not want to confirm it definitively, but admits that it “would fit very well.”
In No Man’s Sky, players dive into an almost infinite galaxy and discover alien planets and cultures. In addition to exploration, players must constantly fight for survival, as countless dangers lurk.
For some time now, forums and social networks have been buzzing that No Man’s Sky could convince players to adopt the new technology of virtual reality. After all, you should discover completely new worlds, and how could immersion be better than feeling like you’re right in the middle of it?
VR for No Man’s Sky still not confirmed
But so far, Hello Games is still hesitant when it comes to VR. In response to a direct inquiry from IGN, Sean Murray seems to choose his words carefully. He says about VR:
I think VR is incredibly exciting in general.
He believes in this technology, and he is optimistic that it will succeed. However, it still needs a “killer app,” meaning a reason that convinces many people to acquire this technology. Virtual reality should not remain just a fad or a toy. People need to see a benefit in it.

Regarding VR headsets and the skepticism of some people about having to wear headsets for several hours, Murray said:
[With the VR headsets] there is a huge opportunity to play this game in a normal way and also to have these truly intense moments in the midst of the game.
Players could experience a mix of both.
But Murray believes it would be “incredibly cool” to experience new planets that one likes in VR. And who knows, perhaps No Man’s Sky will become that “killer app” that enables the breakthrough of virtual reality. But first, VR support should be confirmed.
No Man’s Sky is releasing on June 22 for PS4 and PC.

Accordingly, Overwatch was founded during a time of crisis to crush the Omnics (robots) during a rebellion. Later, the organization took on the role of a kind of “world police” before its name became increasingly infamous and it was dissolved. Now the world is once again in chaos and a certain primate with heightened aggression potential is calling the former team back together.
For those who haven’t checked out the game yet, they can participate in the open beta from May 5th to May 9th. This will take place simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Installation is easily done through the Battle.net software or the stores of PS4 and Xbox.

The old god Yogg-Saron causes insane experiences in Hearthstone. The funniest plays have been compiled in a video.
An old god who loves to cast spells – and makes everyone laugh
Of all the crazy cards that “Whispers of the Old Gods” has brought into the game world of Hearthstone, “Yogg-Saron, Hope’s End” is probably the weirdest card. The old god is known in the Warcraft universe for his whispers of madness and lives up to that reputation in the card game.
When played, his Battlecry ensures that a lot of spells are cast. How many exactly? That depends on how many spells the owner of Yogg-Saron has cast during the game.
However, what happens on the battlefield is completely random, as Yogg-Saron casts spells from all possible classes and targets randomly. Chaos and madness are thus guaranteed. The Youtuber Hearthstone SparkTV has compiled the best clips from various streamers.

Among other things, there are videos of the well-known players Forsen and Kripparian, who sometimes experience quite a shock when the fireballs fly back into their own face or repeated sprinting causes them to die from exhaustion damage. In any case, the results are laughable and bring good cheer – and these are exactly the experiences Blizzard wanted to force with the latest expansion.

In The Division, the PvE area of the open world is set to be revitalized. This was revealed by Community Developer Hamish Bode.
Once agents reach the max level of 30 and have successfully completed all fights and side missions, they will only find themselves in the Dark Zone or within designated missions. The rest of the open world becomes uninteresting. Some players might still eagerly search to collect all the “filler content” in The Division. However, for agents who are only after action and shootouts, there are no more challenges here.
The Dark Zone, the PvP area, is intended for long-term gameplay enjoyment. However, the morale of upright agents is currently being dampened by numerous hackers and cheaters. Many agents – especially those on PC – would appreciate more variety in PvE given the current situation. What does Massive say about this?
There are plans to “revitalize” the open world
During a Twitch stream, Community Developer Hamish Bode was asked if there were any plans to revitalize the PvE area. And Bode replied: Yes, there are.
Fans of PvE can therefore look forward to the future of The Division, although the Community Developer did not elaborate on what specific changes will be introduced or when they will come.
In May, we can expect Update 1.2 “Conflict”, which will be free for all. This is intended to deliver a new raid and new challenge modes. However, the focus of this update will be on the Dark Zone: New features in the PvP area are meant to herald the “beginning of a wild manhunt in the Dark Zone.”
Therefore, significant changes in the open world are likely to come only with the “Underground” expansion, which is set to release in June. Little is currently known about this DLC, which is included in the season pass.
A visit to the cinema for the upcoming Warcraft movie could be worth it, as there are in-game goodies for newcomers and veterans.
Weapon skins and all expansions for free with a cinema visit
On May 26, 2016, the long wait is over, and the film Warcraft: The Beginning finally comes to German cinemas – even two weeks before it can be seen in America. As reported by mmo-champion, the “rewards” for the cinema visit have now been announced on the French website of Kinopolis. Accordingly, all players of World of Warcraft can look forward to a range of rewards.
There will be four different weapon skins, all relating to important characters from the film. Alliance players can look forward to a sword and shield in a distinct Stormwind style.
Horde players, on the other hand, can look forward to an axe styled after Durotan and a staff inspired by Gul’dan.
For those who have never dipped into World of Warcraft before, the code essentially provides a “starter pack”. Because in addition to the weapon skins, there is the complete game including the “Warlords of Draenor” expansion for free. To ensure that players can immediately dive into Azeroth, a full month of game time is added on top.
According to current information, it seems that the rewards will only work with a “fresh” account, but this has not been definitively confirmed yet. Even then, veterans could also enjoy the weapon skins, as multiple WoW accounts can be registered on a Battle.net account, all sharing a common wardrobe with “Legion”.
It is also still uncertain whether these rewards will actually be available in all countries. It is assumed that such codes will be distributed during cinema visits in Germany, but official confirmation is still pending.

In the MMO shooter Destiny , a new week starts on May 3rd. We will tell you what challenges it brings. Additionally, there is a patch scheduled for this evening.
One of the best weeks in Destiny comes to an end today
Above all, Bungie has noticeably increased the drop rates as promised. Thanks to the new light system, useful drops have come out. And the lag seems to be largely under control, even if some are still complaining about issues.
Overall, one of the “best” Destiny weeks of the last months is coming to an end. Let’s see what the new week brings.
Whether he is working on The Division or doing something else is not known. Given his resume, he would undoubtedly be a good fit for the job at The Division. Starting today, a new week begins in The Division. There is a fresh weekly assignment on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
This week, the talking watch on your agent’s wrist has received a transmission, the assignment “Operation ISAC”. Apparently, you did a good job last week: Simon was able to restore the ISAC node thanks to your help after the enemy hacker attack. However, there is a new threat that makes life difficult for him, and especially for you: In a propaganda video, an enemy calls upon all factions to eliminate the Division agents. He has placed bounties on you.
Now you must complete the following tasks to thwart the plans of the mysterious enemy. You can find these tasks in-game on your map when you switch to the “Mission Overview”:
Eliminate 20 elite enemies: You need to neutralize 20 elite enemies in the Dark Zone. The enemy factions are after you. Therefore, you should go out there and show them that the Division is still a force to be reckoned with. Kill their elites.
Disassemble 20 specialized items: You need to disassemble 20 items of the quality level Specialized (Blue) or higher.
40 headshot kills: Take out 40 enemies with headshots.
Complete 10 missions: You must complete 10 main missions on “Hard” or “Challenging” difficulty.
On May 3rd, there are no daily missions in The Division
As the Community Developer Hamish Bode communicates via Twitter, there will be no daily missions today, May 3rd. Therefore, you cannot earn any Phoenix Credits today. According to Bode, the system will be fixed tomorrow. The dailies will therefore be unplayable all day today.

In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the upcoming installment of the shooter series in 2016, information about the zombie mode and multiplayer has been revealed.
During a livestream event yesterday, the developers from Infinity Ward talked about CoD: Infinite Warfare, which will be released at the end of the year. In addition to already known information about the new CoD, there are now hints about the zombie mode and multiplayer.
No Aliens, but Zombies in Infinite Warfare
During the event, an image was revealed that clearly hints at a zombie mode in Infinite Warfare:
It features a film reel with a zombie on a single frame. Popcorn and blood are also a must.
The announcement of a zombie mode is somewhat surprising, as Infinite Warfare is said to take place in a complete futuristic setting. Previous zombie modes in the series have always taken players back in time. According to a press release from Activision, this mode will present a new story and further evolve gameplay compared to previous installments. The developers stated that it will be “unique” and “different”.
The zombie mode was first introduced by Treyarch in 2008 with Call of Duty: World at War and has since become a popular mode where you battle the undead. Infinite Warfare will be the first game where the developers from Infinity Ward deliver this mode. The zombies from Infinity Ward will reportedly differ from those of Treyarch, as confirmed by the developers during the stream.
Furthermore, it was mentioned that the new zombie mode will be packed with Easter eggs.

Overwatch is just around the corner. But will the game also be released for Mac OS X devices?
Mac users miss out on Overwatch
The early access for the Overwatch beta is just around the corner. While all users of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and a Windows PC can soon join the cheerful shooting, a very specific group of gamers is left out: The Mac users. As of now, Overwatch is not being developed for Mac OS X devices (Apple iMac, MacBook, etc.).
Even during the beta, this became apparent, as the official FAQ answered the question of whether “Mac users can also play” with a clear “No” – there was no beta for Mac. Nothing is mentioned about “sometime” or “later”; it simply does not seem to be the plan.
In an interview with pcgamesn.com, Jeff Kaplan from Blizzard commented on this topic, namely a possible Mac version for Overwatch.
“[The decision against Mac] was the result of not receiving the technical support we would need to make the game work well on Mac.” Furthermore, he stated that “the enthusiasm from Sony and Microsoft is overwhelming to have Overwatch on their platforms” – something that Apple probably does not experience.
The only solution to this problem, Kaplan sees, is if Mac users bring this issue to Apple’s attention. “I think Apple is a great company. And I hope that Mac gamers will reach out to Apple and make it clear that gaming on a Mac is an important issue for many.”
However, there is a possible way: booting Windows on the Mac and then playing Overwatch from there. This requires a Windows license and is probably not the most elegant solution.
