In Destiny 2, you have to forgo clans and guided games at launch. The clan servers are currently unreachable.
The first Guardians are already bustling in Destiny 2, diving into battle against Ghaul and his Red Legion. However, they have to forgo one thing: It is not yet possible to proudly present your own clan in the Destiny 2 universe.

Developing video games is certainly not an easy field to work in. With tight deadlines, plenty of overtime, and the personal aspiration to deliver a perfect product, there are certainly more comfortable professions.
However, hearing that development can sometimes lead to the brink of death is something you don’t hear often.
As reported by PCGamesN, this was exactly the case with the slasher game Friday the 13th: The Game. The game was heavily supported by a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. However, the development team had not hired anyone to keep the community updated about Kickstarter – a community manager was therefore needed.

Developer Randy Greenback, who at the time had only a few programming tasks to complete, was quickly assigned as the spokesperson for the Kickstarter campaign.

Basically, Smedley, who was working for Sony, had all the ideas in January 2015 that would make “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” a gaming hit in 2017:

All of that was either done or in the works by January 2015 and belonged to Sony.
A month later, everything was different
But back then, that was not recognized, and it seemingly came too early.
The studio “SOE” was practically sold off immediately after PlayerUnknown started there and continued as the “Daybreak” studio on its own – H1Z1, the battle royale mode, Smedley, and PlayerUnknown had nothing more to do with Sony.
The timeline of Sony/PlayerUnknown is:
December 2014: Smedley recruits PlayerUnknown for H1Z1 and Sony Online Entertainment
January 2015: The two present the “Battle Royale” concept for H1Z1 and say that it holds great potential
February 2015: Sony separates from the studio, and it continues on its own.
Quite curious. What happened next?
Smedley later stepped down from his job there after a controversy. Everquest Next was later canceled.
H1Z1 was turned into two games – the battle royale shooter King of the Kill was successful for a while but has since been overtaken by PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
PUBG and Sony and Microsoft – an interesting relationship triangle
Ironically, competitor Microsoft has now snatched the ultra-hot shooter PUBG as a “console partner,” and Sony players are anxious about whether PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will still come to their console. PUBG will likely be released for the PS4, but later than for the Xbox One. All of this could have been different.
My MMO thinks: The admittedly hypothetical question is whether H1Z1 could have become the hit PUBG is today with more money and help from Sony in 2015. We don’t know.
The amazing thing is that Everquest creator John Smedley already suspected in 2015 what would become the hit in 2017. Smedley basically did everything right but has no part of it today because he is no longer involved with the games. But it’s worth keeping an eye on Smedley; perhaps he has an idea about what will take off in 2019.
The BF1 update for the Russia DLC “In the Name of the Tsar” is being unlocked today for premium players. On the platforms PC, Xbox One, and PS4, the servers will be offline at different times.
Today, on September 5, 2017, early access to the new DLC In the Name of the Tsar begins for owners of a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass. To activate the patch, the three platforms will not be available at different times. Find out here when you can play again.

In the coming hours, the “In the Name of the Tsar” DLC will be unlocked, and also an update of the base game will be activated. The DLC content will only be playable via early access for the next two weeks – either through the Premium Pass or Revolution Edition – and will be available for all players to purchase starting September 15.

Battlefield 1 September Update Patch Notes

A problem has been fixed where the jumping animation froze when attempting to dismount from a jumping horse.

In Hearthstone, players keep coming up with interesting ideas to combine existing cards. Sometimes unsuspected synergies arise, and some card combinations have led to an OTK combo. These “One-Turn-Kill” combos wipe out the opponent in one move, without them being able to defend themselves.
Most of the time, these combinations are frowned upon, and in ranked play, there are only a handful of these possibilities (like the “Exodia Mage”). A natural limit here is the card restrictions – only cards from the current and previous year can be used.
However, in the “wild” game mode, this restriction does not exist. All cards are allowed there.
The YouTuber and player Teelo shows a particularly funny variant. As a Warlock, he completely relies on his “Late Game” and tries to survive just long enough to have all the necessary cards in hand.

On Reddit, the user Spellethur noticed a particular detail during a scene. A rough “plan” is shown on a screen in the video regarding the future of Heroes of the Storm.
Despite the blurry image quality, the names are distinctly recognizable: Hanzo and Alexstrasza.
What’s interesting is that both heroes have a “dragon” theme. Hanzo famously uses his “Spirit-Dragon” to shoot devastating arrows, and Alexstrasza is one of the most powerful dragons that ever existed – the Life-Binder.
Whether these two heroes are indeed next in line, we will probably find out in the weeks following the release of Kel’Thuzad.
The best part about this little “leak”? We can all look forward to hating the “Hanzo mains” in more than one game now.
As soon as it became known how leveling in Destiny 2 will work, hardcore players have already developed a method for getting to the maximum power level faster. But is the backdoor for the triple trick really open?
Attention: The article contains “spoilers” regarding character development in Destiny 2. Officially, these are not known yet.
Triple Trick: Is the backdoor to the maximum power level still available?
The actual important leveling takes place through equipment. Here, the system is stingy starting from power level 260, and there are only the weekly activities, the milestones, as a source of better equipment. Since players can only complete a few of these activities each week, they face the same problem as in Year 1 of Destiny. That was back in the time of “Forever 29” or “Forever 31”: It was incredibly slow progress.
Back then, there was only one way to improve a character from a certain level: through the raid. Players had only one chance per week to improve their character. Either the boss dropped the needed item or not, and that week was wasted. Because you could only attempt a raid per character once.
But even back then, players found a way to bypass this. Will the triple trick work in Destiny 2 with a small modification again?
Destiny 2: New game, old trick
The triple trick to level up particularly quickly involves creating three guardians of the same class and then switching the equipment among them: this increases the light level from run to run.
This is labor-intensive; you have to get all three characters to level 20 and likely complete the campaign.
The normal way would be: Character 1 completes the weekly activities and levels up from about 260 to power level 263 (as an example, it could also be 262 or 264 – we don’t know). Then, the character has to wait a week until the reset, then starts at 263 and, for example, goes up to 266.
With the triple trick, it goes like this: You complete the weekly activities with Char 1 and receive better items (263). Then you send these items to Char 2, who equips them and also has 263. Now you complete the activities again and receive “some better equipment” than before (266). With Char 3, you complete the milestones again (269).
If it goes like this and the item increase per week is roughly as stated, then “normal players” would be at 266 after week 2. Players with the trick, however, would already be at 278.
This way, players who use this technique will be significantly ahead of everyone else at the maximum power level of 300. After that, players can delete the two “duplicate characters” and start anew.
But will the trick work in Destiny 2?
However, we still do not know if the plan will work in Destiny 2. That depends on several factors:
It would need to be possible again to internally transfer armor.
And it should be possible to create more than one character of the same class.
The milestones would have to be limited to one character; if a completion counts account-wide, that would be a problem
The question is: Has Bungie closed this grindy backdoor from Destiny 1, or is it still slightly open?
Mein-MMO thinks: These are topics that we last dealt with in 2014/2015. Back then it was actually clear: They overlooked an error in the system. Bungie should have only allowed one character per class. This backdoor was never closed in Destiny 1 because they changed the whole system.
We will probably find out in the next few days whether the “triple trick” works.

A new Battlefield 1 patch is significantly changing the strength of various weapons. LMGs are being buffed, SMGs are getting enhancements. Initially, the update will be tested on the CTE servers.
Currently, the community can test a patch on the Battlefield 1 test servers that reshapes the balancing considerably. This update is considered the largest weapon update in Battlefield 1 and will initially overhaul the meta. After all, the changes need to be thoroughly tested.
Weapon Update in Battlefield 1 – Patch Notes
Last Friday, the Battlefield 1 developers at DICE announced a new CTE update. And it’s not just any update, but the largest weapon update the game has seen so far. There are high expectations in the community for the changes.
In short, all classes are slightly improved, except for the Scouts. Support players need fewer shots with their LMGs to kill an enemy, and the self-loading rifles for Medics have increased ranges.
On Reddit, the developers explain what to expect from the update. Generally, these altered values are not final and may still be revised before they reach the live servers.

The developers want to reduce randomness in shotgun ammunition. Therefore, all shotguns will have ammunition filled with 12 shotgun “pellets”. The spread of these pellets is divided into 12 zones – 6 in an inner ring, 6 in an outer ring. In each zone, one pellet will land.
This ensures that the 12 pellets are distributed more evenly in the spread zone and do not randomly land all in the same zone for “one-hit kills”.
For these changes, the shotguns have been slightly adjusted.
