Finally, there is a bonus event in the space online game Elite Dangerous – and some players are already complaining.
In the space online game Elite Dangerous, not many events take place. Now it’s here, but the developers are facing criticism: What is going on in space?
An event and not everyone is happy about it
What does the event offer? The “Extended Bonus Weekend” increases all profits from trading activities, with the amount of profit depending on what and where you send something. However, rare goods are excluded from the bonus. The costs for engineering your modules will also be reduced. The event takes place from May 24 to May 30.
The players are not happy. The community of Elite Dangerous consists of players who take the lore of the game world very seriously. Therefore, it is primarily criticized that this bonus weekend does not fit into the background story at all and seems extremely artificial and forced. Players believe that events should be better integrated into the game world and need to be logically explained. They should make sense from the lore perspective. Furthermore, some fans believe that this event promotes grinding.
But this of course does not concern all players, some are just happy.
How do the developers respond? Frontier Developments appears somewhat perplexed by the negative reactions. The developers simply wanted to create a fun event that might also lead some former players to return to the game.

A leak of the cover of Battlefield 5 gives fans even more reasons for a WW2 setting. The image shows a paratrooper from World War 2.
Rumors have been circulating for weeks that the new Battlefield 5 will take place in World War II. A teaser trailer earlier this week already pointed clearly to this setting. A leak from the Chinese PlayStation Store shows a soldier in action. Fans say: “That is a US paratrooper” and see confirmation in details of the World War 2 assumption.
Battlefield 5 – Leak from the PS Store
On the evening of May 23, Battlefield 5 is set to be presented. But fans want to know what to expect beforehand.
In the new leak, they discover a M1911 pistol and an M1 Carbine rifle. Reddit user mamayev_bacon takes a close look and says: “He’s wearing a M1942 paratrooper uniform.” Additionally, they would recognize from the pockets and straps that it is probably a soldier from the 101st Airborne Division (Wiki).

After the recent teaser trailer and this leak, fans are now sure that Battlefield 5 takes place in World War II. Unless there are still surprising changes planned that would throw all hints out the window.
Reddit user Slepijoe_ writes “Welp, now there seems to be no doubt left about the WW2 setting.” Additionally, another user writes that the theme is already secured through the teaser. Symbols are visible that suggest Germany and Great Britain.

Call of Duty was recently successful with its World War II setting and was able to excite many players for the shooter. Apparently, the thirst for this shooter setting in the gaming scene is not yet quenched.
In The Elder Scrolls Online, the PC servers in Europe and North America are currently down for maintenance. A fix for Japanese players is on the way: Patch 4.0.6 is aimed solely at them, as they had serious issues with Summerset.
What’s going on? Players want to explore the Summerset Isles, but the servers of TESO have been offline for maintenance since 10:00 AM. This affects the two PC megaservers of ESO. Players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can continue to play as normal.
Japanese players hear and see nothing
Why are the servers offline? The background is a critical bug affecting Japanese players. They had neither Japanese text nor audio. Patch 4.0.6 is meant solely to fix their issues. The Elder Scrolls Online is one of the few Western MMORPGs that has made it to Japan. Since summer 2016, players have been able to play The Elder Scrolls Online there.
Will this also fix my problems? No, another update next week is expected to address issues related to Summerset. They promise “general bug fixes”. Currently, some players in ESO are experiencing login issues.
What’s in the new Patch 4.0.6 for The Elder Scrolls Online and how big is it? The new PC patch is approximately 65 MB in size. The patch only contains the fix for Japanese players to receive text and voice outputs in their language.
When will ESO be back up? It is currently unknown when the ESO megaservers for PC will be functional again. However, it should be quick.
Maintenance inconveniently interrupts the exploration of Summerset
How do people like Summerset so far? Quite well. That’s why some are so anxious because they can’t play right now. We addressed the community’s reactions to the new chapter Summerset in this article:
In Fortnite, players were able to return skins for a short time and received V-Bucks in return. However, this “selling of skins” in Fortnite was quickly disabled. There are now indications of when it might return: very soon.
What is this feature? The feature arrived a month ago, on April 24th, in Fortnite. Players could return three old skins and receive back the full amount of V-Bucks they previously paid for the item. However, only relatively “new” skins purchased within the last 30 days could be returned.
But it was quickly disabled: There apparently was a bug that allowed players to exploit the system. It seems that older skins and Battle Pass tiers were also returned. This was not actually planned. Therefore, the feature was only active for a few hours before Epic pulled it back. The outcry from players was significant: Some of those who missed it were quite frustrated.
In the bottom right is the button that leads to the return option.
Exchange action reportedly to be functional by June 1st
Feature back on June 1st? Supposedly, returning skins will be coming back very soon. The feature is expected to be active again by June 1st. Players will then once again be able to exchange up to three cosmetic purchases for V-Bucks. The feature is set to come with the update on May 29th.
How will the feature return? Probably just as originally planned. Players will only be able to return “recently purchased skins,” meaning not the old ones. Players had requested to be able to return the very old skins they no longer like, but that will likely not happen.
Is this official? Sort of. The information comes from a user. Via imgur and reddit, a player has published an email from Fortnite Customer Support. It could be a fake, but it looks quite real. However, even if the ticket is genuine, Epic’s plans for Fortnite might still change.
Dauntless will launch its Open Beta on PC on May 24 and will then be free to play for all players. Phoenix Labs released a cinematic trailer to celebrate, showcasing the floating islands known as Shattered Isles.
The video narrates the story of the floating islands that remain in the air due to a natural energy source called Aether. Monsters, known as Behemoths, feed on Aether and threaten the survival of humanity.
As a Slayer, you hunt these monsters and, just like the characters in the trailer, you start off as recruits, battling your way to glory and honor.
In World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, you will have the opportunity to unlock new races as playable factions. Everything about the requirements, unlocks, and abilities of Mag’har Orcs and Dark Iron Dwarves can be found here.
Allied Races: The allied races are one of the core elements in the new WoW expansion Battle for Azeroth. They play an important role in the story and expand the options for character selection.
The guide contains spoilers about the story and plot of Battle for Azeroth.
The conflict between Horde and Alliance also includes new races.
Allied Races in Battle for Azeroth: Dark Iron Dwarves
The Dark Iron Dwarves are the “dark brothers” of the Dwarves from Ironforge and the Wildhammer Dwarves. They live in Blackrock Mountain and were slaves under the Elemental Lord Ragnaros for a long time. They join the Alliance thanks to Moira Thaurissan, daughter of Magni Bronzebeard, who married the former Emperor of the Dark Iron Dwarves.
Fireblood: Removes all poison, disease, curse, magic, and bleeding effects and increases your primary stat by 231 and additionally by 77 per removed effect. Lasts for 8 seconds. 2-minute cooldown.
Digging Machine: Summons a digging machine that burrows through the ground in outdoor areas. 30-minute cooldown.
Flameforged: Reduces damage taken from physical attacks by 1 percent. Passive.
Mass Production: Increases smithing skill by 5 and smithing speed by 25 percent. Passive.
Classes: Dark Iron Dwarves can become Warriors, Paladins, Hunters, Rogues, Priests, Shamans, Mages, Warlocks, or Monks.
The requirements to unlock Dark Iron Dwarves
You must own Battle for Azeroth.
The character with which you want to unlock the race must have reached level 120.
You must have completed the Alliance War Campaign.
You must have a Revered reputation with the 7th Legion.
The Alliance prepares for the attack on Undercity at the harbor of Stormwind.
The recruitment scenario
The Dark Iron Dwarves help the Alliance in researching the new material Azerite. To see the progress of the specialists, an envoy invites you to Blackrock Mountain. However, they are attacked by Goblins.
The blacksmith hammer Ironbane has been stolen, and you must help the Dark Iron Dwarves reclaim it. With the hammer, the dwarves can process the Azerite on the Black Anvil while you protect them.
After you help the dwarves process the Azerite, you will be sent back. They will then join the Alliance as an allied race.
Heritage Armor and mount
The Heritage Armor is a cosmetic transmog for your armor. If you want to have the Heritage Armor of the Dark Iron Dwarves, you must play a Dark Iron Dwarf from level 120 from the start.
You start at level 20 and may not use a level boost. However, you may use heirlooms and potions like the Elixir of Ancient Knowledge or the Elixir of the Stormcrafter.
The race-specific mount, a Core Hound, will likely be obtained along with the achievement for the allied race after completing the scenario.
Allied Races in Battle for Azeroth: Mag’har Orcs
The Mag’har Orcs are a surviving tribe of Orcs in the alternate Draenor from Warlords of Draenor who refused to drink the demonic blood. Their skin did not turn green but remained brown. Their chieftain is Grommash Hellscream, who did not die in the battle against Mannoroth in this world.
They join the Horde through the help of the war hero Eitrigg, who leads them from alternate Draenor to present-day Azeroth.
Call of the Ancestors: Calls upon the spirits of your ancestors who grant you their power. Increases a secondary stat by 102 for 15 seconds. 2-minute cooldown.
Free Wind: Increases your mount speed by 10%. Passive.
Compassionate Lifeforce: Increases health of companions by 10%. Passive.
Wildblood: Reduces the duration of poisons, diseases, and curses by 10%. Passive.
Classes: Mag’har Orcs can become Warriors, Hunters, Rogues, Priests, Shamans, Mages, or Monks.
The requirements to unlock Mag’har Orcs
You must own Battle for Azeroth.
The character with which you want to unlock the race must have reached level 120.
You must have completed the Horde War Campaign.
You must have a Revered reputation with the Honorbound.
For the Horde, the war begins with the defense of Undercity.
The recruitment scenario
The scenario begins when the Orc Eitrigg convinces Sylvanas to open a portal to alternate Draenor. He intends to recruit the Mag’har there to strengthen the Horde on Azeroth.
However, upon arriving in Draenor, you discover that the Draenei living there have developed a fanatical belief in the Light and begin to force the Orcs under their will. Those who do not comply die.
The Draenei are convinced they must convert their world. Chieftain Grommash Hellscream resists this and sacrifices himself so that you can flee back to Azeroth with the Mag’har through the portal.
Yrel will become your opponent in the scenario.
Heritage Armor and mount
You will obtain the Heritage Armor of the Mag’har just like that of the Dark Iron Dwarves, presumably by leveling a Mag’har from level 20 to max level. Heirlooms and experience potions are allowed, but no level boosts of any kind.
The mount of the Mag’har, a black wolf, will also likely come along with the achievement after the scenario.
When can the allied races be unlocked? Both races will be playable with the release of Battle for Azeroth on August 14. From then on, you will only need to meet the requirements.

What is the situation with The Elder Scrolls Online two days after the launch of the new chapter Summerset on PC? And why are the servers currently down? A look into the ESO community.
Reddit is raving: The subreddits of individual MMORPGs each have their own character. While some games’ forums have turned into a desert, Reddit users are currently loving their The Elder Scrolls Online. Two days after the PC launch of Summerset, you can see threads like in the ESO Subreddit:
I can’t handle how beautiful Summerset is, I think I’ll stay here
Someone also praises that NPCs react to the player character in dialogue, as Razum-dar asserts: “Some of the best friends of this are lizards.”
Users are posting screenshots of landscapes and special views. The mood on Reddit is cheerful after the release in 2018.
Better mood than a year ago after Morrowind
It wasn’t always like this: A year ago with Morrowind, Reddit had viewed the chapter more critically:
Back then, many were annoyed that Morrowind had to be purchased separately; otherwise, as a subscriber, you simply received content – this is still the case with Summerset, but seemingly bothers few, they have gotten used to it
Also, that Morrowind offered less content than the flagship DLC “Orsinium” annoyed many back then.
And there were problems because a new class came with Morrowind. Players felt that ESO nerfed the existing classes to make the new class more “desirable”. This also annoyed some back then. One of the most important YouTubers of ESO, Deltia’s Gaming, withdrew from the game. However, he is back now.
With Summerset, the mood seems to be significantly more positive without such backlash.
Classic fantasy setting: After the volcanic island of Morrowind, Summerset is now a classic fantasy setting on a picturesque island. Such a “high-fantasy” setting seems to resonate well with the players of The Elder Scrolls Online.
So is everything great? Not entirely; some players in the ESO forum are complaining about login issues. Some cannot get into the game at all. Zenimax has already announced that they are working on it.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Servers currently offline for maintenance
Maintenance today: At 10:00 AM on Wednesday, the servers will be taken down for maintenance. Apparently, several minor issues are to be resolved. This is causing some frustration: “What is with the stupid maintenance?” asks a forum thread. Players seemingly do not want to be without their The Elder Scrolls Online right now: A good sign.
The new Deathmatch map Petra is causing excitement. As soon as it found its way into the game with the Overwatch Anniversary Event, players have already discovered hints about the next hero and more.
Mysterious messages on the new Deathmatch map: With the Overwatch Anniversary Event 2018, the Deathmatch map Petra made its way into Overwatch. Petra is an archaeological site in Jordan, where apparently an ancient temple or palace is being excavated.
Resourceful players have taken a closer look at the map. Some details hidden in data pads and on open laptops hint at a puzzle that goes beyond the map.
What was found?
A data pad with two names: Near the tent on a cliff lies a data pad on a box. It has a short text in which a “H. Faisal” thanks an unknown person for continuing to fund the excavation in Petra and Ilios. The unknown H. Faisal mentions another name: Dr. Nachareon.
In addition to Ilios and Petra itself, a short text also mentions another project in Thailand. This presumably refers to Ayutthaya, the “Capture the Flag” map, which was introduced in a past event.
Conversations on open laptops? Fans think this can’t be a coincidence.
A laptop with more clues: The open laptop contains a conversation between Faisal and an “Ioannidis”. They discuss archaeological finds. Ioannidis reports the discovery of three statues of the goddesses Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena in an undisclosed temple.
The statues are already visible: One of them is in Rialto, the recently added payload map. Another can be found on Ilios, and the last one in Château Guillard, Widowmaker’s castle.
Throughout the conversation, Faisal also mentions a hidden chamber that the archaeologists have found in Petra. The chamber they can explore through a gap is presumably the small treasure room behind a partially destroyed wall.
Is Faisal talking about this chamber?
What fans see in it
With all the new finds on the new map, theories are running wild: What is Blizzard hinting at?
Hints about the next hero: Some fans see in the texts a hint that the next hero will be of Greek origin and somehow related to the excavations.
Others speculate about Dr. Nachareon, whose name is a reference to the river in the Greek underworld, Acheron. He is supposed to be a Greek villain with dark powers – like the Talon leader whom Reaper shoots in the “Retribution” event and who, according to fans, was “too well” designed for all the other Talon troops to seem so generic.
Is this Dr. Nachareon? Or just the financier of the excavations?
A new layer for Petra or another map: Another theory is that the hinted rooms in the conversation contain new maps. The hidden chamber in Petra would be one way to reveal the “deeper chambers” in the unknown temple.
What do you think? Are the texts hints at a new hero or a new map? What do you think of the idea that the villain from “Retribution” is being revived as Reaper’s nemesis? Let us know in the comments!
A cool emote is currently causing tension between Bungie and the community. The studio has hidden the new Iron Banner emote behind a paywall in the Eververse of Destiny 2. There seem to be no other ways to obtain this character gesture at the moment. This is frustrating many fans.
Once again there is trouble with the real money shop: Anyone taking a look at the Eververse – the real money shop of Destiny 2 – will surely not have missed the latest offer. Just in time for the start of the first Season 3 Iron Banner, Tess Everis is currently selling the Iron Gestures Pack. This pack is time-limited and includes, besides two consumables, the exotic emote “Salute of the Lords”. This offer is currently the focus of harsh criticism.
“Salute of the Lords” emote only for real money
The problem: This cool emote is currently only available through the Eververse – as confirmed by the Community Manager Cozmo.
The gesture pack costs a hefty 1100 Silver. This amounts to a price of about 10 Euros. A purchase with Glimmer, the alternative shop currency that can also be earned in-game, is not possible. So this emote is hidden behind a paywall in the in-game shop.
Bungie takes a step back: Already after the Eververse scandal at the end of 2017, Bungie promised to redesign the real money shop to be fairer. And so far, the studio has kept its word.
The Eververse was noticeably throttled in early 2018 and lost significance. While many cosmetics could still be purchased there, the shop was no longer the only source for cosmetic items. Many of these can now be earned in-game or purchased with Silver Dust, an in-game currency.
The developers continued this approach with the introduction of the Prism Matrix. This allows players since the release of the Warmind expansion to obtain their desired items in the Eververse more quickly and transparently. With this feature, they took another step towards the fans – much to the players’ delight.
However, many now see the latest emote offer from Tess as a big step back.
Fans are upset: The community is upset and reacts with disbelief. Hiding this emote behind a paywall is the dumbest thing Bungie could currently do after all the little positive steps.
After all, this is not just any emote. It is an exotic gesture of the Iron Lords. This should be tied to the Iron Banner and not hidden behind a paywall.
This step is not exactly helpful in restoring the nearly lost trust.
The new Sea of Thieves-update fixes issues and brings quality-of-life improvements. You can now see when you are speaking. Additionally, you will find more lore and can trade items again. We will show you the main changes here.
With a new update, the developers from Rare are smoothing out the pirate adventure Sea of Thieves. These are important preparations so that the upcoming Hungering Deep-DLC can be released next week without issues.
Sea of Thieves Server Down – Kiwibeard Error
On Wednesday, May 23, from 10:00 AM to around 1:00 PM, the servers of Sea of Thieves were not accessible. The reason for this is the new update with version number 1.0.8 that is being implemented.
The maintenance was completed about two hours earlier than planned.
Sea of Thieves Patch – What’s Included?
The new Sea of Thieves update is about 800MB in size and is relatively small across all platforms (PC, Xbox One, Xbox One X). It brings features that players have been asking for a long time. For example, it should now be easier to cancel voyages, and you can now adjust the target sensitivity. There’s also something in the patch for colorblind players.
Patch Notes: What’s Changed
Players can now cancel unwanted voyages via the quick menu
If you speak in-game with your microphone, it will now be indicated by an icon
During your adventures, you will now encounter lore books more frequently
If you hold chests for resources, other players can now take or fill items
Chickens in cages now make less disturbing sounds and are more tolerable
The music played when entering the legendary hideout has been updated
The voices of legendary NPCs Tavernkeeper Louise, the Pirate Lord, and Olivia from the Soul Order now sound more ghostly
There are visual overhauls when weapons shoot on grass or cannonballs fall into water
The UI of the chests has been updated to make operation easier for players
Some cosmetic items will be removed by the merchants. Players complained that these did not stand out enough from other items
The special sniper that was only briefly in the game has now been removed again
… and here’s what you can now adjust:
There is now a high-contrast version of the treasure map “X” that can be activated in the settings. This changes the red X to a white X with black outlines. Players with red-green color blindness can then recognize it more easily.
You can now specifically set the sensitivity for different weapons. The Blunderbuss, pistol, and Eye of Reach now each have a slider to adjust sensitivity. Additionally, more mute options have been added to “My Crew”. This includes the ability to block voices, text chat, and non-verbal communication.
Issues and Performance
Many performance improvements are also included. Latency is said to be reduced, and many crashes have been fixed. After the last update, there were issues when players wanted to exchange items with each other – this works again now. Additionally, bounty skeletons are now supposed to spawn as intended. You can find a list of all bug fixes in the official patch notes from Rare.
Set sail! On to the content islands
After this update, the game should be ready to activate its first major content patch. Players have been waiting a long time for this, as Sea of Thieves has always been criticized for the lack of long-term motivation and missing content.
With the last content patch to 4.2, a bug seems to have sneaked into Fortnite: Battle Royale. Players are reporting a backpack that predicts the location of the next storm circle. Epic has now announced that the item was due to a bug in the game. That’s a shame.
Epic seems to be developing more and more of a fondness for backpacks. What were cosmetic items starting from Season 3, now take up a slot in the inventory in the current Season 4 and have useful functions.
The most prominent and only example so far: The jetpack. With the jetpack, you can easily overcome large obstacles and surprise your enemies. With the last update, it shows – this is just the beginning. Because accidentally a new item was added, the so-called “Eye of the Storm Tracker.”
What exactly does the Storm Tracker do? This backpack indicates the exact position of the next storm circle before anyone else knows. This idea is not only unusual but also practical. This way, the eye of the storm can be reached before all other players. A well-placed base can mean a significant advantage.
The backpack will display the next storm center with a yellow circle. This is intended to help distinguish the storm circle from the normal one.
The big downside: One slot of your inventory is occupied. So you will have to abuse teammates as pack mules for shield potions and bandages. This naturally assumes that this item will ever be officially released – and that is not guaranteed.
Epic says: No guarantee that the backpack will ever come
Will the item really come? Epic has not only promptly removed the item again – they also say that it is very possible that the Storm Tracker will never come. That would be a shame, the idea is quite original. However, the mere existence of the backpack proves that Epic has not run out of ideas yet.
Who knows what we can look forward to in the future! Anyone who wants to experience the Eye of the Storm Tracker in action can watch the following video:

Paladins is not only available on PC and the consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but also as a mobile version Paladins Strike. Recently, Hi-Rez found itself in a bit of trouble with a current promo image for the mobile game: the background featured an image of an Overwatch map.
Paladins is one of the few hero shooters that has been able to withstand the competition alongside the industry giant Overwatch. The concept of Paladins is no longer limited to PC and consoles, having been adapted for mobile devices with Paladins Strike. It’s unfortunate that the current promo material heavily borrowed from the competition at Blizzard.
With a Hand in the Honey Pot
What happened? Resourceful Reddit users took a closer look at the current promo material for the mobile shooter Paladins Strike by Hi-Rez over the weekend. The image, which was supposed to promote a new skin for the character Lex, featured in the background the Overwatch map Lijang Tower. Not just an artwork similar to the map, but the actual loading screen of the map from Blizzard.

How did Hi-Rez respond? The Art Director of Hi-Rez addressed the challenge directly in the Reddit post. The artwork was created by a partner studio overseas and was not checked by the studio itself. However, they plan to address the issue now.
Will it end with this faux pas? In addition to the artwork with the Overwatch map, a further Reddit post noted that glitches in Paladins Strike revealed menus identical to the menu and loading screens of Heroes of the Storm. The MOBA Heroes of the Storm also comes from the competition at Blizzard.
Paladins is often compared to Overwatch, and Hi-Rez is frequently accused of having borrowed ideas from Blizzard’s hero shooter. However, Hi-Rez playfully demonstrated the opposite when revealing the Overwatch heroine Brigitte.
Update 23.05.18: Hi-Rez parts ways with the contractor responsible for the promo: After investigating the artwork, they have ended their work with the responsible studio, reported Paladins brand manager Alex Cantatore in an email to the US website Kotaku.
They were very disappointed that the contractors used assets from another game. Since the promo came from a trusted partner studio, it did not undergo a complete internal review cycle at Hi-Rez and was therefore made public immediately.
Cantatore announced that Hi-Rez plans to handle more of its 2D artworks in-house to better maintain control over the published materials.
The 6th Community Day in Pokémon GO in June brings many wild Larvitar into the game. Additionally, there are triple experience points.
In recent weeks, trainers speculated that Larvitar would appear for a Community Day in Pokémon GO. The Rock and Ground-type monster is interesting for players because it can evolve into Pupitar and later into Tyranitar. Tyranitar is popular in gym battles and raids.
Community Day in June – Start and Bonuses
In the past, Community Days have been well received by Pokémon GO trainers. Niantic is holding this event for the sixth time in June and is already sharing some initial details about the event.
Date: Saturday, June 16 Time: The event starts as usual at 11:00 AM German time and ends at 2:00 PM German time Pokémon: You can catch many Larvitar during the event. The special event attack will be revealed by Niantic in the coming weeks. Niantic typically takes its time until shortly before the event. Active Bonuses: Typically, lure modules last for 3 hours instead of 30 minutes during Community Day. Additionally, catching Pokémon will reward you with triple experience points.
During these Community Days, Niantic closely monitors which team catches the most Pokémon. In April, the blue team Mystic caught the most Pokémon per player.
In May, the team maintained its lead. They once again caught the most Pokémon per player. In June, the other teams will have to strive hard to dethrone this team. In this overview, the developers show the distribution from the May event:
The Community Day takes place once a month and aims to bring the players of the community together. Together, they go outside to hunt for the popular Pokémon, which have always appeared in shiny form so far.
A new website allows you to combine various Fortnite skins according to your preferences. Such a feature has been desired by some players for a long time in the actual game.
A new website allows fans to create their own skins for the battle royale shooter Fortnite by assembling the components of existing skins from the game according to their own preferences. So, if you have always wanted to combine a zombie head with a Christmas sweater and bunny pants, you now have the opportunity to do so.
Unfortunately, only on the website, not in the game
Here’s how it works: On the website make-fortnite-skins.com, parts of the various skins already available in Fortnite can be mixed and assembled into new outfits. Unfortunately, this currently only works on the website, whether Epic will ever implement such a feature is currently unclear.
On the website, you can adjust the gender of the character as well as the background. After that, you can build a custom skin from the various heads, bodies, arms, and legs. Additionally, there are different accessories, such as hats and glasses.
The website itself is still in a beta phase and is not yet optimized for mobile surfers. If you have problems with the display on your desktop, it may be sufficient to adjust the page zoom in your browser’s settings.
Players want the feature: In the Fortnite subreddit, some players have already requested such a mix-and-match feature for Fortnite. Fans’ ideas range from combining individual parts to complete skin creators.
However, some players would be satisfied if the various heads or helmets were separate items. Just like the back bling, which can already be individually applied to different skins, this would allow players to stand out from others.
The Overwatch Anniversary Event 2018 has started and brings great new skins and additional features for all players. In the event trailer, the heroes show you their new skins and throw a party. Celebrate with us!
The heroes of Overwatch are celebrating the birthday: Lúcio is spinning tracks, Doomfist is dressing up, and Soldier… is as serious as ever. All the heroes have gathered to celebrate the second birthday of Overwatch and are showcasing their newest costumes! And you can join the celebration, the Overwatch Anniversary Event is now online!

From now on, players will face each other on the revamped map Bannerfall. At the same time, the hunt for new weapons and ornaments from the Season 3 Iron Banner begins.
Furthermore, Guardians can expect more steps from time-limited quests like the Upcoming Dawn and the masterpiece upgrade for the exotic sword Worldline Zero.

The following modifiers are active in the heroic strike playlist:

New information about the content of the Cash Shop of Bless Online has been revealed. Additionally, developer and publisher Neowiz discussed the exchange rate of activity points for Lumena.
For many players, the monetization of an MMORPG is an important topic that the developer or publisher should talk about openly. Players always fear that there may be hidden Pay2Win mechanics lurking somewhere in the cash shop. Neowiz has answered some community questions regarding “monetization” and “cash shop”.
A shop, two currencies
In the game, you will be able to purchase rare items in a shop using special currency. The shop offers different items that you can acquire either for Lumena or activity points.
You earn Lumena by using real money, or you can exchange your activity points for up to 50 Lumena daily. Lumena cannot be exchanged for activity points.
According to Neowiz, you will receive 1200 Lumena for €8.51. So, players will need 24 days to earn an equivalent of €8.51 through pure gameplay.
For Lumena, you can obtain the following items:
Temporary buffs: 20% increased experience points for defeating monsters, 20% increased experience points for pets and mounts.
Convenience items: Expanded inventory, remove resurrection effect, teleport scrolls, etc.
Costumes or skins without additional benefits
An item that reduces the stamina consumption of your captured monsters.
You will be able to earn most buff items by using the 50 Lumena from the daily exchange.
Activity points are earned through gameplay. It is known that you can obtain activity points through playing specific PvE and PvP activities.
You can exchange activity points for the following items:
Spirit: You can equip spirits in the game. These increase your equipment points.
Crafting and enhancement materials
Crafting, enhancement, and upgrade sub-materials that increase the chance of a successful enhancement.
Upgrade items that prevent durability or enhancement level loss during a failure.
Convenience items: An item that allows you to change the ability of a pet or mount.
Protection from PvP
For players who are not big fans of PvP, it is worth looking at the items Peace Declaration and Peace Promise.
This is how the items work:
Peace Declaration: Can be purchased by players up to the maximum level for in-game money. Protects the player for 10 minutes from PvP and prevents them from attacking enemy players.
Peace Promise: Can be purchased by players of all levels for Lumena. Protects the player for 10 minutes from PvP and prevents them from attacking enemy players.
Both items have a cooldown of 10 minutes. You can therefore maintain the buff permanently. To prevent abuse, the item is locked in RvR.
In contested areas, you can be attacked at any time by players of the other faction. The two items give you a brief respite.
Other important facts
Neowiz also commented on other areas:
There will be no loot boxes in the game.
You will be able to purchase an item with Lumena that can reset skill points.
The inventory space for new players is designed to be sufficiently large. Players can acquire inventory expansions with Lumena. Additionally, Neowiz plans to distribute these during events.
Flight mounts should be very rare and available to only a few players – they should not be in the cash shop.
To fund further development, Bless primarily aims to earn money by presenting players with great costumes and weapon skins, as well as skins for pets and mounts.

The new chapter Summerset for The Elder Scrolls Online has just been released on PC. It not only brings a new story but also changes to the gameplay. These affect the ESO builds, the way players allocate their skill points. This significantly alters the balance.
Summerset and the ESO Builds
What effects on the builds are there? One of the biggest changes that Summerset brings is that two-handed weapons previously did not count as two set items in contrast to two one-handed weapons – but now they do. This change now allows all ESO builds (not just those that do not use two-handed weapons) to carry 5/5/2 set combinations.
What exactly has changed here? Previously, only two one-handed weapons were counted as two set items, which made it impossible for example for Magicka users to carry 5/5/2 set combinations. To gain the bonuses from sets, you typically need five pieces of the set. In addition to the seven slots for armor pieces, there are still two slots for rings, one for necklaces, and two weapon slots. One-handed weapon fighters could thus carry, for example, a body armor, two rings, and two one-handed weapons from a set, granting them the 5-piece bonus. Two-handed weapon fighters, on the other hand, wore the body armor, two rings, and one two-handed weapon, which triggered the 4-piece bonus. This meant that anyone using a two-handed weapon could only rely on a 5/4/2 combination, losing the bonus of a set item. Since Magicka users fight with two-handed staves, this was a disadvantage for corresponding builds.
With the current change, the player who wears a body armor, two rings, and one two-handed weapon from a set also receives the 5-piece bonus, enabling the 5/5/2 combination.
The Psijic Order is also stirring things up. With the ability to join the Psijic Order and learn new abilities here, new builds are emerging, and existing ones are changing. The time magic of the Order is being integrated into the builds, opening up a ton of new possibilities.
The builds are changing. Changes to the balancing of The Elder Scrolls Online, especially those that have a significant impact on gameplay, often lead to changes in the ESO builds. Now that Summerset has just recently been released, everything is still new and in flux. There will surely be several updates, bug fixes, and balancing adjustments, which means the final builds are yet to crystallize. However, there are already some trends of builds that are changing:
In PvE:
Dragonknight builds for “Venom”, “Valakas”, “Obsidian”, and “Catalyst”
Nightblade builds for “Azure”, “Rampage”, “Illusion”, and “Siphoner”
Sorcerer builds for “Summoner”, “Mystic”, “Windwalker”, “Deathstroke”, “Surge”, and “Capacitor”
Warden builds for “Ice and Fire”, “Guardian”, “Racer”, “Blossom”, and “Frostbite”
Templar builds for “Beamblar”, “Jabsmania”, “Reliever”, and “Paladin”
In PvP:
Dragonknight builds for “Eruption”, “Scorch”, and “Draugr”
Sorcerer builds for “Wrath”
Where can I find current builds for Summerset? In the official ESO forum, the user Alcast operates a popular thread with builds for ESO Summerset. A visit might be worthwhile.
The balancing will still crystallize
Changes could lead to overpowered ESO builds. Currently, the fans of ESO are still trying to figure out how the changes to the builds will affect gameplay. It will be interesting to see if there are overpowered builds – especially in PvP. This will still be revealed as fans play a bit longer. Then we will also see how Zenimax Online reacts and what further changes come to maintain the balance. But it is still a bit too early for that.
