Dauntless will launch its Open Beta on PC on May 24 and will then be free to play for all players. Phoenix Labs released a cinematic trailer to celebrate, showcasing the floating islands known as Shattered Isles.
The video narrates the story of the floating islands that remain in the air due to a natural energy source called Aether. Monsters, known as Behemoths, feed on Aether and threaten the survival of humanity.
As a Slayer, you hunt these monsters and, just like the characters in the trailer, you start off as recruits, battling your way to glory and honor.
