The rework of Symmetra from Overwatch is extremely well received by some fans. Especially the new voicelines have impressed many fans.
Currently, the rework of Symmetra is being tested on the PTR of Overwatch. While players are not yet in agreement about whether Symmetra’s new abilities are really cool or rather annoying, there is complete clarity on another topic: Symmetra’s new voicelines. Fans are highly enthusiastic and praise Blizzard and the voice actress Anjali Bhimani.
Photon barrier has a new sound. The new voiceline became necessary because Symmetra is getting a fresh ultimate. The photon barrier spans a wall across the entire map, blocking up to 5000 damage for several seconds. Symmetra says the words “Yahi param vaastavikta hai” – which translates to “This is the ultimate reality”. Opponents hear the phrase “Reality bends to my will” instead.

Fans are excited. Players are thrilled with the new sound files. The enthusiasm is also due to the fact that Bhimani is already in close contact with her fans. But we can tell you a lot. Nothing shows the enthusiasm better than some fan snippets.
Kotaku has compiled some of the funniest reactions. Among them are (freely translated) the following statements:
“The new voiceline is so cool. Oh yeah, I love my wife.”
“Symmetra’s new voiceline for the ultimate has made me 500% more lesbian.”
“The only good thing about the rework of Symmetra are her new voicelines.”
What do you think about Symmetra’s rework and her new voicelines? Do you understand the fans’ enthusiasm or do you find their reaction exaggerated?

Facebook is also pushing into the streaming market. A dedicated service “FB.gg”, Facebook Gaming, aims to engage game fans and compete with Twitch. Can it succeed?
Facebook follows other platforms and now offers a large-scale streaming program for gamers. On Facebook Gaming video (URL FB.gg), users’ streams are listed and sorted by games. The structure is heavily oriented towards existing services of the competition, such as Twitch or YouTube.
Streams are still manageable.
Why is Facebook doing this? The streaming market is a huge business. For 2017, video game streaming is expected to generate around 4.6 billion US dollars in revenue. Facebook would like to grab a big piece of the pie. After all, Facebook has a large number of daily users that it wants to keep on its platform longer.
Facebook is running out of young users
Gaming against user attrition? Another speculation is that Facebook wants to bind users more strongly to its platform with gaming streams. Due to various data scandals and the general aging of the platform, Facebook has become increasingly unattractive for the young target group in recent years. With the topic of gaming, it seems that they are trying to counteract this and create a stronger connection again.
Streamers can earn money from their fans. Similar to Twitch, streamers on Facebook can also earn something from their viewers. The program named “Level Up” allows viewers to gift streamers of their choice with a virtual currency that can then be converted into real money. Similar to Twitch’s “Subscription”, Facebook Gaming is expected to introduce a feature soon that will allow viewers to regularly send a fixed amount to the streamers.
Speaking of streams – E3 is just around the corner:
Do you think Facebook can still establish itself in the streaming market? Or does the social network have no chance against Twitch, YouTube, and others?

The latest title update 1.14 for FIFA 18 was released on June 8th. However, this comes with a small hiccup, as the patch was not actually supposed to go live yet. Here are the official patch notes.
Title updates for FIFA typically appear for PC first and a few days later for PS4 and Xbox. Not so with patch 1.14: the update accidentally went live on Xbox One last night.
Originally, update 1.14 was planned for next week. On Xbox One, the 4.2 GB patch is already available for download, and it went live shortly afterwards on PS4. PC and Switch players will have to wait a little longer.
EA Sports released a brief Twitter statement after the Xbox patch mishap. They also announced the extension of the Weekend League by 24 hours. Below you will find all the official patch notes.
The patch notes for title update 1.14 for FIFA 18
The changes mainly affect the new World Cup mode, which is why the download was probably also scheduled for next week – at the start of the World Championship.
New players have been added to the rosters of the qualified World Cup teams
Various bug fixes related to the World Cup mode
A method was added to release new players in the World Cup mode of Ultimate Team. As soon as new World Cup cards are available, EA Sports will announce this on Twitter.
Bug fixes for Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs mode
Additionally, EA is working to update the player rosters of the World Cup teams and make the “Starheads”, i.e., the scanned faces, available outside of the World Cup mode.
The latest title update for FIFA 18 is now available on XB1 and will be available shortly on PS4. The PC version will be released in the near future.
This update includes the following:
Made the following changes in FIFA World Cup™: – Added new players to the qualified team’s rosters for use in all FIFA World Cup™ modes.
Addressed the following issues in FIFA World Cup™: – Added a check to ensure that the player is on the most up to date FIFA World Cup™ rosters after leaving any of the FIFA World Cup™ modes. – Seeing invalid squads available for selection in FIFA World Cup™ Kick Off when entering into the mode following multiple lead profile changes. – A crash after repeatedly selecting to restart a match in FIFA World Cup™ Kick Off.
Made the following changes in FIFA World Cup™ Ultimate Team: – Added the foundation that will allow for the addition of new players to FIFA World Cup™ Ultimate Team. Follow @EASPORTSFIFA on Twitter for updates on when new players will be available.
Addressed the following issues in FIFA World Cup™ Ultimate Team: – Backing out of the FIFA World Cup™ Ultimate Team club creation flow, when you had unclaimed items in FIFA Ultimate Team, would result in visual corruption.
Addressed the following issues in FIFA Ultimate Team: – Sometimes the chemistry chevrons on Player Items and Chemistry Style Items would incorrectly show full chevrons for all attributes. This was a visual issue only.
Addressed the following issues in Online: – A single player leaving a Pro Clubs Drop-In Match during the pre-match flow will no longer cause the match to end for all players.
Thanks to those who’ve provided feedback. Throughout the course of the FIFA 18 season we’ll provide you with more information and updates if and when they become available.
The FIFA Team
Patch causes issues on Xbox
The title update seems to be causing crashes and other problems on Xbox.
According to some players, the game does not start on Xbox One after downloading update 1.14. There is currently no solution, but we will keep you updated.

The premature update is not the only fail concerning the World Cup mode: by giving away thousands of World Cup sets, EA caused a market crash in regular Ultimate Team.
Und was macht High Moon Studios?
Royal Blood, the high-gloss MMORPG for smartphones, has been available for a few days now. In the meantime, there are a slew of reviews and opinions about the game.
On June 5, 2018, Royal Blood was released for Android and Apple devices. The developers at Gamevil aim to release the first “real” MMORPG on mobile in the West. Therefore, they focus heavily on typical features of PC MMOs, including an open world, high-quality graphics, a dynamic action combat system, raids, and mass PvP battles.
Additionally, the infamous autopilot, which makes other mobile MMOs feel like a kind of management game, is intended to be more of an aid than a requirement.
A few days after the release, the opinions and ratings of users indicate whether Gamevil made a good start.
How were the ratings? On Google Play, 6,799 users have rated it as of June 8, 2018. This resulted in a rating of 4.3. On iTunes, the game even reached 4.5 but was only rated 85 times.
What did users like? Satisfied players frequently mentioned the following points as advantages of Royal Blood:
Beautiful graphics: Many users agreed. The graphics and especially the animations of Royal Blood are top-notch. After all, the game has already won several awards for its presentation in the Unity Engine.
Open World: The vast world that can be explored freely was well received by many players.
Fun gameplay: The action combat system was also liked. Fans praised the fact that the autopilot is not mandatory and that optimal results can only be obtained without autoplay. Additionally, the PvP system benefits from the good combat gameplay.
Fair shop: Some players praise the shop and say they noticed no pay-to-win aspects. It seems possible to level up quickly without spending money.
The Cons of Royal Blood
What was not well received? Some players were not satisfied with Royal Blood or rejected certain aspects of the game. Frequently mentioned were:
Too little customization and gender lock: Some players criticized that in Royal Blood, one cannot freely choose the gender of their heroes. All warriors and archers are male, and all bards and sorceresses are female. This frustrates many players. It was also criticized that there are only a handful of options for customizing the hero during creation.
Overheating and power consumption: Royal Blood is a high-quality game that consumes a lot of performance. Therefore, it drains the batteries of modern smartphones like the Samsung S8 quickly. Even more frustrating: some phones reportedly get extremely hot and may not be able to charge during that time.
Global servers with overpowered Asians: Royal Blood uses global servers where players from different continents log in. Therefore, some western players complain that they often encounter overpowered Asian players who are extremely strong due to real-money spending.
Performance issues: For some Android players, Royal Blood seems to run generally, but there are severe stuttering and frozen screens.
Shop too expensive: Some players believe that the shop demands too much money for the offered features and items.

Conan Exiles has had its release a few weeks ago. Now there is a new official statement from Funcom – with numerous promises about how Conan Exiles will progress.
Funcom promises new content and the first DLC: In the last statement from June 6, the developer of Conan Exiles, Funcom, spoke about the near future. Bug fixes are ongoing, but slowly the developers also want to bring new content to the players.
How Conan Exiles is doing right now, what’s coming your way
Conan Exiles has survived the first weeks after release well, and the game is still very popular. While the developers are still working on fixing bugs and delivering technical improvements, new content is also coming.
In the quarterly report, Funcom also talked about the future plans for Conan Exiles. Among other things, Funcom announced DLCs. Some of the announced innovations will be available to you soon.
DLC – Imperial East Pack for Conan Exiles
The first DLC will come in June: Funcom has already announced the first purely cosmetic DLC: the “Imperial East Pack”. The DLC brings armors and weapons styled after Khitai, a land in Hyboria. The DLC specifically includes:
3 armor sets (light, medium, and heavy)
11 weapons in iron and star metal variants
25 new placeable items in the style of Khitai
5 new decorative war paints
A new set of Tier 3 building pieces in the style of Khitai.
All items are supposed to match their tier and not be better than other items made from the same material – buyers thus have no advantage. Funcom emphasizes that the money is intended to cover ongoing costs and that resources for the DLCs will not come from the development of gameplay elements and bug fixes. The DLC is set to be released later in June.
The cosmetic contents of the DLC.
Pets are coming soon as a new feature – and a god
Tame your own “pets”: With an upcoming update, one of the features that had to be cut for the timely release will be implemented: companions, or pets.
Funcom is working to implement this feature as soon as possible. Currently, the technology for the feature is being optimized. Details about the pets will be available “very soon”.
Worship a new god: Along with the companions, a new deity will find its way into Conan Exiles. Jhebbal Sag, the Lord of Beasts, will soon be available as a potential patron for his followers – if you can find him.
The religion around Jhebbal Sag is based on the upcoming pets. His religious items and armors revolve around the theme of taming, and with him comes his altar and of course his avatar.
Derketo was the last goddess to enrich the pantheon.
New dungeons – also for companions: A number of new dungeons are set to be implemented in Conan Exiles. Which ones exactly are not yet revealed – only that one of them is explicitly supposed to be related to the companion feature.
The old bow system is coming back: The community’s criticism of the ranged combat system has been significant since the change. Funcom has listened and will soon bring back the option to manually draw a bow and shoot an arrow, rather than letting it play out in an animation.
Bows will also receive special arrows with poison, explosions, healing, or light. This will also bring some bug fixes and general balancing to the combat system.
What do you think of the upcoming innovations? What do you like best? What else do you feel is missing from the list? Leave us a comment!

Those who wanted to play the hero shooter Paladins by Hi-Rez Studios on PlayStation 4 with their friends on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will be disappointed again. Sony still prevents the option for crossplay.
Crossplay brings players together: Crossplay refers to cross-platform gaming. So if you play on PC, you can still game with your buddy on Xbox One. With crossplay, everyone can stay on their preferred platform and still have fun together.
This also applies to Paladins, the colorful hero shooter, which celebrates its release on Nintendo Switch on June 12. Players on the Switch will be able to play with those who own an Xbox One. But once again, there is an exception for crossplay: Sony and PlayStation!
Sony once again does not want crossplay
As in the past, including with Fortnite, Sony does not want to allow crossplay from other platforms to PlayStation 4 this time either. The crossplay of Paladins is therefore limited to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Sony has no interest in participating in this crossplay. This was confirmed by Hi-Rez in a tweet in response to player inquiries.
Why does Sony do this? As a reason, Sony officially cites the safety of players. After all, they cannot control what players on other platforms say and do. They want to protect their own community, especially the children.
Crossplay: Almost everyone wants it, but not everyone
It is complicated: In addition, there are a lot of technical and business issues. Also with World of Tanks, the developers would like crossplay between Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The two versions are very similar to each other. Still, nothing happened.
For crossplay to happen, Microsoft and Sony would first have to clarify this among themselves. However, the two companies probably do not communicate on this issue. Therefore, crossplay between the two consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 remains a pious wish of the players.
Technically, this is probably not a big problem: In Fortnite, the developers “Epic Games” have occasionally activated crossplay between PS4 and Xbox One. Allegedly, this was a small “bug” that occurred from time to time and was then resolved. Various developers have repeatedly emphasized that crossplay would not be a technical issue.
Nevertheless, there has been a period of silence in recent weeks. It has become quiet, with info about Patch 1.8.2 pending. The calm before the storm? This week will likely see the 100th State of the Game. Details about the new update and the shields are expected.
Next week, E3 2018 finally starts, and we are excited to see what Ubisoft presents to us about The Division 2.
What to expect at E3 2018
As reference points, we can refer to the previous E3 presentations of The Division. We assume a first trailer at the Microsoft press conference, which will take place before the Ubisoft press conference. This is similar to how it went down at E3 2013.
Why at the Microsoft conference? This would fit with rumors suggesting that Microsoft once again has exclusive marketing rights to The Division 2. Whether this also applies to DLCs, we do not currently know.
The Microsoft press conference will take place next weekend, on 10th June at 10 PM, followed by Ubisoft on 11th June at 10 PM.
What will Ubisoft deliver at E3? Since The Division 2 is supposed to be released no later than 31st March 2019, we expect a detailed presentation by Ubisoft. Information about the setting, new gameplay, and a more precise release date are anticipated.
How do you find the retrospective? Are you looking forward to E3?
Unfortunately, complaints continue to this day, especially on consoles, where there is a loud debate about the use of CronusMax, a tool that allows players to gain unwanted advantages in games.
The Division in 2018 – Between year 3 and The Division 2
After months of speculation, Massive finally unveiled the truth on the 2nd birthday of The Division: The Division 2 is in development and will be presented at E3!
Nevertheless, a year 3 should continue. Ubisoft presented a roadmap for this.
Patch 1.8.1 was released in April and primarily focused on loot distribution. Rewards were expected to be fairer and better overall.

In the meantime, rumors about a potential sequel, namely The Division 2, began to circulate. We reported back then about possible AAA games that Ubisoft announced.
For Patch 1.7, Massive even enabled PTS for consoles; unfortunately, they did not receive patch updates and were limited to a certain number of players.
In August 2017, the update was released for all platforms and included global events, hidden gear sets, and popular commendations that allow unlocking points and patches. Gradually, the game approached what it is today. By that time, The Division was considered by many agents better than ever before.
However, even this update was not flawless. Problems with masks and leaderboards during the first global event dampened the mood.
The probably most popular update – Patch 1.8
1.8 had a similar scope to Patch 1.4, which overhauled the entire game.
Surprisingly, this patch, contrary to the announcement, included a map expansion: The West Side Piers. Here, players encountered a coalition of opposing factions. Included was the horde mode Resistance, Skirmish as a new team deathmatch mode, new global events, and new hidden gear sets.
Additionally, many more innovations were introduced including the optimization station. The Underground also received a refresh by improving the loot and incorporating Hunters as a surprising element.
This update was released in December 2017 and caused excitement. Players returned, and there was positive feedback from all directions.
Unfortunately, complaints continue to this day, especially on consoles, where there is a loud debate about the use of CronusMax, a tool that allows players to gain unwanted advantages in games.

Also new: The premium vendor for cosmetic items and emotes was integrated as well.
The second year in The Division
After the announcement of the second year, disillusionment, partly frustration, spread. No story content or map expansions. Free updates with huge features such as events and loadouts. Enthusiasm was limited.
However, Update 1.6.1 was released, which exclusively focused on the “Quality of Life” of the game, such as loadouts.
Patch 1.7 with Global Events, commendations, and hidden gear sets
Once again, Massive called an ETF into being to collaboratively improve the update with the players. They received the opportunity to test Patch 1.7 and 1.8, including the announced events, which turned out to be global events.
In the meantime, rumors about a potential sequel, namely The Division 2, began to circulate. We reported back then about possible AAA games that Ubisoft announced.

The work that Massive put into Patch 1.4 should pay off; by the end of October, the update went live, and numerous players ventured back to Manhattan. Others had never left.

Now that The Division was mostly in a better state, they returned to the original plans. Survival was next. An interesting game mode with survival (wow) and battle royale elements.
This also introduced the new faction of Hunters, particularly strong opponents whose abilities should be on a similar level as those of the players.
In addition, Patch 1.5 was on the way and was supposed to go live before Christmas. This brought, among other balance changes, the named gear items.
PS4 players had to wait again. Patch 1.5 arrived late and additionally caused the classic delta errors. Ironically, these occurred on PC and Xbox One a week earlier.
Last Stand and Update 1.6 – Focus on PvP
Massive called once again an Elite Task Force for the upcoming Patch 1.6 to test and contribute feedback towards the completion of the update.
The update delivers the first PvP mode of The Division, Last Stand, and introduced new areas in the north of the Dark Zone. Additionally, exotic gear was introduced; a new raid, Signal Lost, was also brought into the game. First missions received the legendary difficulty level.
We are excited and look forward to the surprises!
How do you find the retrospective? Are you looking forward to E3?

We are excited and look forward to the surprises!
How do you find the retrospective? Are you looking forward to E3?

The work that Massive put into Patch 1.4 should pay off; by the end of October, the update went live, and numerous players ventured back to Manhattan. Others had never left.
November: Continuing the program – Survival and Update 1.5

We are excited and look forward to the surprises!

This update was released in December 2017 and caused excitement. Players returned, and there was positive feedback from all directions.
Unfortunately, complaints continue to this day, especially on consoles, where there is a loud debate about the use of CronusMax, a tool that allows players to gain unwanted advantages in games.
We are excited and look forward to the surprises!

The work that Massive put into Patch 1.4 should pay off; by the end of October, the update went live, and numerous players ventured back to Manhattan. Others had never left.
November: Continuing the program – Survival and Update 1.5
Also new: The premium vendor for cosmetic items and emotes was integrated as well.

We are excited and look forward to the surprises!
How do you find the retrospective? Are you looking forward to E3?
Nevertheless, there has been a period of silence in recent weeks. It has become quiet, with info about Patch 1.8.2 pending. The calm before the storm? This week will likely see the 100th State of the Game. Details about the new update and the shields are expected.

The work that Massive put into Patch 1.4 should pay off; by the end of October, the update went live, and numerous players ventured back to Manhattan. Others had never left.
November: Continuing the program – Survival and Update 1.5
Also new: The premium vendor for cosmetic items and emotes was integrated as well.

We are excited and look forward to the surprises!
How do you find the retrospective? Are you looking forward to E3?

The work that Massive put into Patch 1.4 should pay off; by the end of October, the update went live, and numerous players ventured back to Manhattan. Others had never left.
November: Continuing the program – Survival and Update 1.5
Also new: The premium vendor for cosmetic items and emotes was integrated as well.

How do you find the retrospective? Are you looking forward to E3?
The presentation of The Division 2 at E3 is imminent. In a few days it will happen. We look back on over 2 years of The Division and the rocky path that has led to The Division 2.
The Division 2 is at E3 2018 – this much we know since the 2nd birthday of the first part. Ubisoft will present the sequel at its own press conference. Microsoft may also showcase a trailer, just like at E3 2015.
We take this opportunity to take a look back at the past 2 years and summarize the remarkable story of The Division for you. Additionally, we speculate on what we will see at the upcoming E3.
Retrospective: June 2013: The reveal at E3
The Division was first presented at E3 2013. At that time, the amazing graphics and the interesting concept of an online RPG shooter came as a surprise. The release was planned for 2014, but Ubisoft postponed it first to 2015 and then again to 2016.

Here the Dark Zone was introduced, the area that is particularly heavily contaminated in the center of Manhattan. This is the flagship of The Division and combines PvE and PvP content.
In the accompanying video, a 4-player team was seen again, searching for loot in the Dark Zone. They encounter another team and quickly turn rogue.
Spring 2016: Start of the Closed and Open Beta – Players can gather first impressions
What did the Closed Beta include? With the Closed Beta, a certain number of players who had to register beforehand could explore parts of Manhattan for the first time. This included character creation, a mission for the medical wing of the operations base, and 2 areas of the Dark Zone.
What were the contents of the Open Beta? In the Open Beta, another story mission was added; otherwise, it offered exactly the same content. But even then, there were problems with cheaters that were not going to disappear anytime soon.
With 6.4 million beta testers, Ubisoft already broke the first record.
Downgrade discussion and further issues even before release
With the gameplay from the Closed and Open Beta, there was an outcry. Apparently, the graphic quality was noticeably lower compared to the E3 trailers. However, this was not communicated by Massive. In addition, announced content was cut again, such as the playable drone or the trading system.
This led to a shitstorm, tons of comparison videos, and numerous discussions that obviously did not harm the release, as will be noted at launch.

Additionally, there was trouble over an exclusive deal that Ubisoft made with Microsoft. Content from the season pass was supposed to be released 30 days earlier for Xbox One and PC, while PS4 players would have to wait a month.
Already on 7th March, the servers started, although the official release took place on 8th March. Additionally, Ubisoft announced the plans for the first year of The Division.
The rocky release
The Division became Ubisoft’s most successful title at launch and broke several internal company records, despite all the problems and negative reports.
The gameplay and atmosphere, however, were very well received by players.
Massive(-)problems – Hacks, cheats, and the backpack bug
One difficulty followed another; The Division had an endless streak of bad luck at launch.
Hackers and cheaters were practically invited to wreak havoc due to the structure of client and server-based data. Data that were not stored server-side could be manipulated quite easily by them . This is still partly noticeable today.
At times, it was even possible, due to the “multi-group glitch”, to have more players in missions than actually intended. The glitch could be fixed with a hotfix.

Even more serious was the backpack bug, which sometimes locked players out for weeks. The problem occurred due to switching mods, leading to a fatal error in the calculation of certain data. The result was: locked-out agents.
First free update with the new raid “Falcon Lost”
With Patch 1.1, The Division entered its next chapter in April 2016.
What did the first update bring? The first raid of the game, “Falcon Lost”, the first 4 gear sets (Nomad, Tactician, Striker, and Defender), including gear score and other new content. Crafting was significantly more difficult again. Named enemies would now drop high-end loot for sure.
Weekly ISAC missions, in which a small side story was told, also found their way into the game.
Unfortunately, another serious bug followed that made some players lose agents. The cause was probably the servers not calculating certain data correctly. The raid was also not spared and had numerous exploits.
May Update 1.2 – Dark Zone brackets and PvE content
At the end of May 2016, Patch 1.2 followed. Massive aimed to make loot more generous and improve PvE content. The biggest innovations were the second raid, “Clear Sky”, 4 more new gear sets (Predator, Hunter, Final Measure, and Lone Star), high-value targets and sealed containers.
In addition, some bugs were fixed. Unfortunately, another error occurred that temporarily made agents disappear.
The success of The Division has led to a movie being planned since then.
First expansion: Underground and Patch 1.3
At E3 in June 2016, the first DLC expansion, Underground, was presented. It was released for Xbox and PC at the end of June, while for the PS4, due to the exclusive deal, it came out only in August. In addition to the Underground, the third raid, Dragon’s Nest, was introduced into the game.
This is how the Underground was presented: Made up of various assets that are randomly generated and combined, the individual mission areas should feel unique each time, with no mission being the same.
This is how it looked in practice: Unfortunately, the number of these assets was far too low; moreover, many agents criticized that the rewards were not lucrative enough. Additionally, there were a very limited number of mission objectives.
Also, with Patch 1.3 at the beginning of July, new weapons like the G36 or the PP19 were introduced, and 4 new gear sets (AlphaBridge, DeadEye, Restorer, Banshee, and FireCrest) were included.
Even after this update, the problems and bugs did not take long to appear. Delta errors and long queues prevented many agents from logging in.
The great turnaround – Massive overhauls the entire game
In August, more than 5 months after release, the developers admitted: “It’s not fun!”. This point marks the first significant step toward improvement in The Division for many.
What exactly happened? First, they listed the major problems such as some bugs and “game-breaking” issues that were severely impacting the fun of the game at that time. Everything was falling apart at every corner, prompting Massive to consider a complete renovation necessary.
Therefore, they postponed all updates and survival to focus on these problems first.
Roadmap for solutions
Massive presented its plans to pull the game out of the mess and showed a roadmap.
This is what Massive’s emergency plan looked like: Update 1.4 was supposed to address most of the issues, but it could only come in October. In the meantime, they invited a selection of players, called Elite Task Force, to work with Massive to develop and test potential changes.
In addition, the PTS were introduced. These public test servers would go live before each significant patch from now on.
The most important changes in Patch 1.4 also included adjusting the balance of player and NPC strength. Virtually everything was overhauled. No area of The Division remained untouched.
What will Ubisoft deliver at E3? Since The Division 2 is supposed to be released no later than 31st March 2019, we expect a detailed presentation by Ubisoft. Information about the setting, new gameplay, and a more precise release date are anticipated.
We are excited and look forward to the surprises!

We are excited and look forward to the surprises!

The work that Massive put into Patch 1.4 should pay off; by the end of October, the update went live, and numerous players ventured back to Manhattan. Others had never left.
November: Continuing the program – Survival and Update 1.5

The complaints from the Hearthstone community are having an effect. Blizzard is reversing some changes to Tess Greymane.
For many, it was the big topic of the last few days in Hearthstone: The legendary rogue card Tess Greymane was nerfed in a patch. Her battlecry ended when the card itself was silenced. Players received no compensation and were expected to simply accept the changed functionality of the card. Now Blizzard is backtracking – Tess retains her old strength.
Tess returns to old strength: After the patch, Tess Greymane’s battlecry will still be executed even if the card is silenced during the battlecry (Silence, Transformation, Death). However, the number of cards played remains at 30. If more cards from other classes have been played, the battlecry will break after 30 card effects.
Blizzard wanted consistency: Originally, Blizzard made the changes to Tess to make her consistent with other cards, such as Yogg-Saron. However, Blizzard recognizes that in Tess’s case, the “nerf” factor is too great and they had no intention of weakening this card. Therefore, an exception is being made for Tess and she will function as players are accustomed to.
Shudderwock will also be buffed. A small change benefits the feared Shudderwock as well. The number of repeated battlecries was limited to 20 some time ago. This limit is being raised again, allowing Shudderwock to execute up to 30 battlecries.
The update is expected to be released today, June 8, and implement the planned changes.
What do you think about Blizzard reversing the changes? Is it a good decision? Or should there be less “back and forth”?
In Crossout, you can currently hold wild ball games with your post-apocalyptic cars for the occasion of the Football World Cup. This is reminiscent of Rocket League.
What is it about? In Crossout, you drive assembled post-apocalyptic battle cars and wreck your opponents with them. Alternatively, there are also PvE scenarios. But for the World Cup 2018, the developers have come up with something new: Football with cars à la Rocket League.
Football with Harpoon and Crossbow
The rules of the Wastelands Football Championship: From June 8 to June 21, 2018, you can participate in the new game mode. You will compete in teams of three players with pre-made vehicles.
The goal is to get the ball into the goal as many times as possible within five minutes. You have the following methods:
Crossbow: For kicking or passing the ball
Harpoon: To pull or grab the ball
You can also attack opponents with the weapons. They will not be destroyed, only hindered. You can, among other things, pull the goalkeeper away or keep opponents away from the ball. There are no red cards for fouls!
What can you win? As a reward, there are exclusive badges and decorative elements for your Crossout vehicles, which you can either keep as trophies or sell to other players in the market.

The reviews of the western online game Wild West Online are not particularly good, and player numbers are even extremely poor. Will a Free2Play trial fix this?
Wild West Online is still struggling – not only with bad reviews, accusations of fraud and declining player counts, but also with its own poor quality, according to Steam reviews, the developers now want to turn the tide with a Free2Play trial.
Free2Play trial should attract players
Try it for free. On June 15, the western MMO will receive a major update. This will launch a Free2Play trial, allowing players to try out the online game with some restrictions:
Basically, you can play like a regular player, but with some limitations.
You can only level up to 20. Once you reach level 20, you will no longer earn experience points.
You will not receive any achievements or rewards.
The update offers even more. The Free2Play trial is not everything that is new. Additionally, the following changes will be made:
McFarlane and Steele factions will be removed
Sheriffs vs. Outlaws will become the core game, where they will be the two factions of the game
Town Capture will be redesigned
Weapon settings
More visible crosshair
Better loot variety
Rewards redesigned
Tutorials
Can the Free2Play trial save the game? The reason for introducing such a “trial version” is actually clear: The team wants to attract new players. Some may like what they see and then purchase the regular version. However, this doesn’t always work. Especially not when the overall quality of the product still leaves much to be desired.

Capcom has opened the hunt for battle-hardened monsters with a small update for Monster Hunter World. These opponents are even stronger than the already known hardened monsters.
On June 8, Capcom introduced the battle-hardened monsters in Monster Hunter World with a small update. Battle-hardened monsters are intended to pose an even greater challenge than the already known hardened monsters. From their materials, the new Gamma armor can also be crafted.
The first battle-hardened monsters
Battle-hardened Kirin requests a dance: The first battle-hardened monster that stands in your way is the Elder Dragon Kirin. It is said to be significantly stronger than its normal or hardened variants, and it is also characterized by its metallic sheen.
You can find the new quests for the battle-hardened monsters at the event quest counter as usual. As with other event quests, the tasks for the battle-hardened monsters will rotate at regular intervals.
New Quest “The Whisper of the White Mane” in Monster Hunter World
Kirin Event Quest: The Whisper of the White Mane Date: June 8 – June 21 Main objective: Kill a battle-hardened Kirin Conditions: HR 50 or higher
The next battle-hardened monster is already set. After Kirin, you will have to face a Vaal Hazak.
Vaal Hazak Event Quest: The Deadly Silent Veil Date: June 22 – July 5 Main objective: Kill a battle-hardened Vaal Hazak Conditions: HR 50 or higher
Players Respect the “OP Thunder Pony”
Players give tips against Kirin: In the Monster Hunter subreddit, some players have already faced the battle-hardened Kirin. As with the normal and hardened Kirin, hunters recommend a cautious approach against the battle-hardened Elder Dragon.
Even against the battle-hardened Kirin, it is advisable to first face the pony solo. Kirin is already unpredictable in its normal form and barely manageable in a group. It often targets various teammates with its attacks, who must react lightning-fast. Additionally, you can focus better on the attacks alone, as the battle-hardened Kirin is said to bring new moves with it.
How to best take down the Elder Dragon is explained in our guide for you.
By the way: In addition to the new Gamma armor, you will also receive a new decoration armor by defeating a battle-hardened Kirin. You will receive the vouchers for this through delivery quests.

For the E3 2018, some games have already been officially confirmed, which you can look forward to. We will show you which ones they are.
Anthem, Fallout 76, and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 are just a few of the many games that will be presented at this year’s E3. Fans can look forward to new titles for single-player and online multiplayer.
To give you an overview for the E3 2018, we show you here all the games confirmed for the event that will have an appearance. And here is the schedule with the exact timing for the livestreams: The dates for the press conferences of E3 2018.
Electronic Arts / EA – Press Conference
A few months ago, EA stated that they would show more detailed impressions of this year’s Battlefield installment “Battlefield V” and the new shared-world shooter “Anthem” at E3 2018. A series of videos of EA’s popular sports games will likely also be part of the program.
There isn’t much information yet about Microsoft’s appearance. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any highlights, as Microsoft is calling it “the biggest appearance ever”.
Leaks have already hinted at “Gears of War 5”, possibly an announcement for it. Fans are also hoping for news on Halo. The release of Crackdown 3 was officially postponed to February 2019, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be anything to see about it during E3.
So far confirmed:
Forza Horizon 4
Ori and the Will of Wisps
Bethesda – Press Conference
In the gaming community, Bethesda’s E3 appearance has always been well received in recent years. They also have a program this year that will please many. There should be details on the new Fallout 76, which was recently announced. A deeper look into Rage 2 and updates for The Elder Scrolls: Legends are also included.
Bethesda may also bring a few surprises to the stage. The desire for a remaster of Fallout 3 is high among fans.
Confirmed content for the Bethesda presentation includes:
Because Square Enix doesn’t have a presentation at the event every year, fans are hoping for much from the presentation in 2018.
So far, only two games have been confirmed to be discussed. Kingdom Hearts 3 could finally get a release date after the game was presented at E3 2013 with a short teaser.
Confirmed games for the Square Enix presentation include:
Kingdom Hearts 3
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
(Presumably Just Cause 4)
Ubisoft – Press Conference
For fans, Ubisoft has already revealed many details before E3. The team has announced a total of seven games that will be presented during E3 2018.
These include the new Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Rumors say that a new installment of the Splinter Cell series might also be shown.
These games are confirmed for the Ubisoft presentation:
According to Sony’s CEO Shawn Layden, we should not expect any hardware presentations this year. Instead, “Death Stranding” – the project by Hideo Kojima (after Konami), “Ghost of Tsushima”, and the PS4 exclusive Spider-Man project are on the agenda. Also coming is “The Last of Us: Part 2”.
Everyone is expecting Sony to announce more highlights at the event, which they haven’t announced yet.
Nintendo has only officially confirmed two games for E3 2018 so far – Splatoon 2, which has already been released, and Super Smash Bros., which is still in development.
However, it would be surprising if Nintendo does not take the chance to present the new Pokémon Let’s GO Pikachu and Let’s GO Evoli in more detail at E3 2018. This has not been officially confirmed yet.
Games confirmed so far for Nintendo:
Splatoon 2
Super Smash Bros.
Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Evoli
Confirmed Games for E3 2018
Additionally, the following games are confirmed for E3 2018:
Identity will become a kind of second life in modern times. You decide how you spend your life online, whether you become a drug lord, a law enforcement officer, or just a “normal” citizen. Work on the MMO is progressing.
The MMORPG Second Life has been holding strong for about 15 years against MMOs like World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls Online, or Star Wars: The Old Republic. This is because many players do not want to act in a fantasy world or in space, but rather want to experience another life in a realistic world. And this is where Identity comes in.
Live another life online
Robber, cop, businessman, or average Joe. In Identity, you decide what you want to be. Do you want to produce drugs like in Breaking Bad and become a drug lord? Would you rather become a police officer and hunt down gangsters? Or maybe you would like to play a businessman who perhaps runs his own store in the city? You decide how you spend your virtual life in Identity.
The work is progressing. The developers of Identity are making good progress with their project. Work on the area of about 200 km² located in a fictional state of the USA is progressing. Soon you will be able to explore part of it. The team wants to release a large city as a hub where you can move freely and meet other players. From here, the game will continue to be developed. Such as implementing a law system where you can hunt gangsters, new places, and much more.
Ash Hill is coming! The city of Ash Hill is nearing completion. Only a few more works on the gameplay, UI, and graphics are needed before the city module can be published. Many developers are already working on the SWAT module, through which the “cops and robbers” system will be integrated. The team will soon announce a release date for the city module.
Here’s how to participate. On the official website of the MMO Identity, you can purchase one of the founder packs, some of which grant access to the city module and upcoming expansions.

On the evening of June 9, the first official info about FIFA 19 will be released

What information about FIFA 19 we can expect is still unknown. It may involve the Champions and Europa League licenses, the cover, or even “The Journey 3”. Moreover, questions about when FIFA 19 will be released and when you can pre-order it are possible topics for the press conference.
Cristiano Ronaldo likely again as cover star
You wanted Mohamed Salah, but CR7 is likely to grace FIFA 19 as well. At least, that is what the artwork suggests, which was published together with the stream announcement.
This artwork depicts the superstar in Real Madrid attire against a light blue background. However, due to rumors about a transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, it is not 100% certain that we will actually see him in the royal attire on the FIFA 19 cover.
However, CR7 was not exactly a fan favorite: When we asked you about your cover favorite, the following distribution emerged:
Mohammed Salah (44%)
Thomas Müller (18%)
Cristiano Ronaldo (11%)
Lionel Messi (7%)
Paolo Dybala (6%)
What we already know about FIFA 19
Besides the licenses of Serie A and the Champions and Europa League, there is not much confirmed information yet.
The release will probably be, as usual, at the end of September; the release date for FIFA 18 was September 29, 2018. Moreover, FIFA 19 was also announced for the Nintendo Switch – thus, the FIFA project on the Switch is in its second round.
Furthermore, EA is working on getting the new installment of the series into the Chinese Super League. Especially with the stars who are transferring there, this is an attractive league.
With the Forsaken expansion, Destiny 2 becomes gigantic. According to official sources, a proud 104 GB of storage space is required to download and install the complete game along with the autumn add-on.
The storage space requirement for games is steadily increasing and is now reaching absurd sizes – even on consoles. The current console generation, especially the PS4 and Xbox One, has pushed these numbers further.
The average storage requirement for larger titles is around 50-70 GB. However, numerous games have a significantly larger appetite for storage. Battlefield 4 occupies about 71 GB with all add-ons, Elder Scrolls Online uses approximately 86 GB of storage, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare already approaches 95 GB in storage requirements.
But Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 takes it a step further: With all expansions, the game needs more than 100 GB on a PS4 hard drive. With a 500 GB hard drive, you quickly reach your limits – especially if you have more than three or four games on the drive.
Now, Destiny 2 also joins with an even higher mammoth requirement.
Wow, Forsaken requires quite a bit of space on your hard drive
The official PlayStation Store lists the required free storage space for Destiny 2: Forsaken at a monstrous 104 GB, should you want to download and install the complete package.
This size indication does not necessarily correspond to the actual final size on your console’s hard drive – after download and installation, the value of the ultimately used storage could be significantly lower. This is because data packages often need to be unpacked completely or partially after downloading, making the installation space required often larger than the actual storage used afterward.
However, just to download the complete digital Forsaken package, some players will probably have to sacrifice one or the other beloved game on their hard drive to accommodate this mammoth – even if it ultimately occupies less than 104 GB on the hard drive. A size of approximately 85 GB would, however, be quite conceivable.
One can only hope that the required storage space is truly worth it and that one does not end up regretting the sacrifices made afterwards. We should know for sure by September 4, 2018, when Destiny 2: Forsaken is released.
What has Bungie already revealed about the story of Destiny 2 “Forsaken”? It will be a western with a prison break and you are hunting 8 Barons.
This is what we already know about the story: Bungie has already established some cornerstones for the story of “Forsaken” in Destiny 2. The ViDoc had 2 minutes of information about the story.
Cayde-6 can finally be a cowboy
Destiny 2 with a western vibe: The add-on is supposed to have a different tone overall. Already in the presentation, it seeks closeness to the western. Destiny 2 is supposed to become “darker” and “rougher.” They show spores and guns. The story takes place in a new part of the Reef, a barren asteroid landscape overrun by outlaws: this is the “Tangled Shore”, the first zone.
These are likely the 8 Barons in Destiny 2: Forsaken.
Everything starts with a prison break: The cowboy and sheriff of Destiny 2 is Cayde-6, who has filled a prison with the scum of the galaxy. But they escape at the start of “Destiny 2” and must be recaptured. During this, you will be hunting 8 Barons, each of whom is supposed to have a distinct characteristic. In the concept art for Forsaken, you can see the 8 figures. Bungie has already revealed that one will be a powerful melee fighter and another a sniper.
This could be the quest: It is quite conceivable that the 8 Barons will make up the bulk of the story of Forsaken. It looks like they will be 8 mini-bosses that players will hunt and defeat with their own weapons. This promises a sniper duel with the sniper.
You will be hunted: It is said that you will be hunted in this area by the “Scorn”, an apparently criminal organization that especially acts aggressively and harshly.
Destiny 2 takes on Firefly: This is now the direction that was already suspected in the base game of Destiny 2. Because “Cayde-6” is voiced by Nathan Fillion, the star of the sci-fi series “Firefly.” Many other actors from the series can also be heard in the English version of Destiny 2. Firefly also linked themes from the western with science fiction. In the base game of Destiny 2, only “Cayde-6” was found as a typical western figure, but in “Forsaken” Bungie apparently wants to emphasize that even more.
In Pokémon GO, the raid bosses of levels 1-5 have changed. You can now encounter Tentoxa, Kyogre, and other water monsters.
On Thursday, June 7, the Water Festival began in Pokémon GO. You can now find water-type monsters everywhere – even in the gyms. The bosses have changed at difficulty levels 1-5. We will show you which ones are currently active and how to easily defeat them.
Raid Bosses at the Water Event in Pokémon GO
Why are there new bosses? The developers at Niantic have gotten into the habit of changing the bosses in the gyms to match the event. For example, during the last Rock Event, Mogelbaum and Aerodactyl were present. Since the water event is active now, you can find more water-type monsters as bosses in raid battles.
On Reddit, players are diligently compiling their observations and confirming that the following list of raid bosses can currently be battled in Pokémon GO:
Level 1
Wailmer
Amonitas
Muschas
Kabuto
Karpador
Level 2
Moorabbel
Tyracroc
Tentoxa
Flunkifer

Bosses as Shinies: There are two of the new water bosses that also come in shiny versions – Muschas and Kyogre. Shiny Kyogre is also said to have a 100% catch rate, ensuring it won’t escape from you.
And where is Lapras? Many players hoped for Lapras as a raid boss and are now surprised. While you won’t find it as a raid boss, it will hatch from the special 2KM eggs that are now active. All bonuses from the Water Festival in Pokémon GO can be read here.
