The new online shooter Anthem does not rely on loot boxes, but there will be opportunities to spend money in-game for cosmetic fluff. Also removed: romances and PvP. Twinks are not needed, and there doesn’t have to be a second part. What does it offer to the players instead?
Forget about loot boxes: During the EA Play, there was a “Deep Dive” into Anthem. It was clearly stated that Anthem will not have loot boxes. However, there will be cosmetic items, known as “Vanity Items.” Players will be able to buy them directly, without opening a box in the hope that the right item is inside.
You can’t spend money to become more powerful: Mark Darrah from BioWare also emphasized that there will be no way to pay to become more powerful.
Lessons learned from Battlefront 2: In 2017, Electronic Arts clearly felt the wrath of the players when they connected loot boxes to the gameplay progress in “Star Wars Battlefront 2.” They claim to have learned that lesson. Now players can see the results of this lesson also in new games.
Co-op and friendship instead of PvP and romance
PvP initially removed: Additionally, Anthem will refrain from PvP for the time being. They want to emphasize the co-op elements of the game more. However, it is not excluded that PvP may eventually be added to Anthem.
Romances are also out: Anthem will not offer romances as players are used to from BioWare. However, friendly relationships with certain characters will be present.
The game will be developed for years: What Anthem offers is a further development of the game. BioWare is somewhat traumatized after Mass Effect Andromeda. That game could not be supported over the years as planned. With Anthem, exactly that is planned. The game should be built in a way that it can be expanded for years. New moments with characters, new world events, or even a new storyline can be brought into the game.

One Anthem should be enough: No further Anthem titles are planned – like with Destiny. One title that will be continuously expanded should suffice. They will likely rely on DLCs – this is the same concept as with The Elder Scrolls Online.
One character should suffice: Anthem starts with 4 different exosuits, that is the classes. However, you can switch suits between missions. Therefore, it is not necessary to play a second character.
Crossplay in Anthem is still open: It is still not determined whether players can play across platforms.
No info on a beta for Anthem: When it comes to the question “Will there be an open beta for Anthem?” the developer remains silent.
Anthem will probably only run at 30 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One
30 FPS for PS4 and Xbox One: There is still no definitive answer. The developer simply responds to the question “30 FPS?” with “30 FPS.” This suggests that Anthem will be locked at 30 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One. However, this does not apply to PC. The PC achieves higher frames. But that’s a somewhat too casual answer for such a sensitive issue – a more formal confirmation is awaited.
What about Anthem and the Nintendo Switch? There are no plans for a port of Anthem on the Switch.
Anthem will be released on February 22 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
No patience to wait for a game release? With the new Origin Access Premier subscription, you can access new games early.
At E3 2018, EA presented new games and a subscription service. PC gamers are already familiar with the Origin platform, which now offers a new feature. With Origin Access Premier, EA provides the latest games like Anthem, Battlefield 5, or FIFA 19 for subscribers.
Origin Access Premier – Which games are included?
What makes Origin Access Premier new? The Premier add-on means players can play “all new PC games”. This includes Madden NFL, which is returning to PC, Battlefield 5 in Fall 2018, and Anthem next year.
Subscribers of the Premier service can play all the new PC games before the launch. And not just as a trial version, but the full game.
How much does Origin Access Premier cost? The Premier subscription for Origin Access is expected to cost $14.99 per month or $99.99 per year.
For PC, there is already Origin Access, which works similarly to the EA Access program on Xbox One. You have a selection of nearly 100 games in the “Vault” that you can try out there. Just not the latest games – those are available in Premier.

At E3 2018, a new gameplay trailer for Anthem was presented. Here, world events featuring large bosses were shown, giving you a deeper impression of the world.
What did the trailer show? In the trailer, a group of “Freelancers” is seen. There was again a focus on the flight capability of the exosuits, allowing players to move from A to B. There were more impressions of the gunplay and the PvE battles in the group. However, there wasn’t much new to see here.
What is Anthem? The online shooter from Electronic Arts is said to be similar to Destiny, but is played in third-person. You play either alone or with up to three other players in a large, lively open world. Here, you are out as a “Freelancer” protecting humanity from a hostile environment. The focus is meant to be on cooperative play.
During E3 2018, new information about the online shooter Anthem was revealed. The focus is supposed to be heavily on PvE, and initially, they want to avoid PvP.
Coop is at the forefront: BioWare’s Lead Producer Mike Gamble and Game Director Jon Warner talked with GamePro about Anthem. Here, they revealed that while Anthem can be played solo, the core of the shared-world shooter lies in the coop experience. The interview also yielded more interesting information.
Dedicated Servers and Drop-In/Drop-Out
Anthem is supposed to be a great experience with friends: The developers place great importance on providing players with an awesome multiplayer experience with friends. One of the problems in multiplayer is figuring out with whom to play, whom to invite, and which invitation to accept. The developers have been addressing this.
Dedicated servers and Drop-In/Drop-Out are supposed to make the experience “seamless”: Anthem’s coop system is designed to make everything as seamless as possible. Dedicated servers are meant to ensure that freelancers can explore the world together with up to four players. To provide players with temporal flexibility, there is also a Drop-In/Drop-Out feature.
It’s about cooperation, not competition: Mike Gamble and Jon Warner assured that there would be no player-versus-player in Anthem. While the developers do not completely rule it out, they definitely want to focus on the cooperative experience. This also excludes a battle royale mode for Anthem.
Anthem Will Not Have BioWare-Typical Romance
There will be relationships, but they are platonic: BioWare is known for players being able to form relationships with other characters in the game. This will not be the case for Anthem.
In Anthem, there will also be deep relationships between characters, but these will be purely platonic. The relationships are meant to be impactful due to the fates that these characters bring with them.
The relationship with Garrus in Mass Effect, which was a romance option for female Shepherds, is a good example of this. For many players, he remained Commander Shepard’s best friend in memory. These friendships are also intended to exist in Anthem.
There will be microtransactions in Anthem, but loot boxes are not part of it. Lead Producer Mike Gamble and Game Director Jon Warner confirmed: “No loot boxes in Anthem! We are very happy to say that. We want to provide an experience that is satisfying and enjoyable right from the start. We are not selling power, we are not selling progress, so no loot boxes.”
What is Anthem? Anthem is a shared-world shooter often compared to Destiny. You take on the role of a “Freelancer,” who protects humanity with special combat suits called Javelins. You live in a lonely outpost that separates civilization from a hostile environment filled with monsters. The large, vibrant world can be explored either alone or with up to three other players. The third-person shooter also emphasizes cooperation.
Anthem will be released on February 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
During the EA Play event 2018, Electronic Arts showed details about Anthem, Battlefield 5, FIFA 19. EA Play serves as the press conference of Electronic Arts. It unofficially opens E3 2018. We will show you all the important news from the event.
Today, on Saturday, EA kicked off E3 2018 with the EA Play event.
EA Press Conference – Here are the important news
On June 9 at 20:00 German time, EA’s program started. There was a lot to see. We summarize the important news.
Battlefield will of course have a Battle Royale mode
Battlefield 5 was highly anticipated by players. EA presented a new multiplayer trailer here and confirmed that Battlefield V will have a Battle Royale mode:
The big revelation of Anthem with 2 trailers and a lot of info
Anthem: Since E3 2017, there have been few details about the shooter. A mini-teaser recently excited the fans – they want to see more now! Previously, the release date of Anthem was leaked. That was only partially correct. At EA Play, there was the release date for Anthem, a new trailer, and a lot of information.
FIFA 19: The new installment of the football game was unveiled at E3 2018 – EA officially announced it. Here fans received the release date of FIFA 19 and new info about content. FIFA 19 will feature the Champions League.
Also featured were Unravel 2, the game “Sea of Solitude”, Madden 19 (back on PC for the first time), NBA Live as well as news about the mobile game “Command and Conquer: Rivals.”

At E3, EA unveiled the new expansion for Star Wars Battlefront II – it’s about the Clone Wars!
The E3 announcements have started, and EA is making a big splash. In particular, the beleaguered Star Wars Battlefront II is causing a stir, as the fans’ wishes have been heard. The “Han Solo” expansion was a disappointment, but now there’s reason to celebrate – the Clone Wars are coming to Battlefront II, with the aptly named DLC “Clone Wars”.
Clone Wars was a fan request
The largest map of all time. One of the highlights is said to be the new map on the planet Geonosis, which was seen in Episode II. This is expected to be the largest map ever experienced in Battlefront II. It should set new standards for large battles.
General Grievous, Count Dooku, and Obi-Wan are coming
At least three new heroes. A new expansion also comes with new heroes. Some familiar characters, particularly those appearing in Episode 3, will be included. The choices are the lightsaber collector General Grievous, the notorious Count Dooku, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
When will “Clone Wars” be released? The bad news is that there is still no release date for the “Clone Wars” expansion. It’s only said to take place “later this year”, historically situated between Episodes II and III – during the times of the Clone Wars.
At E3, the developers apologized once again for the mistakes they made at the launch of Battlefront II – particularly the loot boxes were a problem. They intend to “correct” these mistakes and listen more to the community. Fulfilling the request for “Clone Wars” should be an important first step on this path.
Are you excited about the new DLC for Battlefront and the Clone Wars? Or has the train already left for you, and you are no longer interested in Battlefront II? Let us know in the comments!

EA presented a new gameplay trailer for the online shooter Anthem at E3 2018. The combat system and the special exosuits “Javelin” are introduced.
What did the trailer show? The trailer shows more about the world of Anthem. The people built a great wall that protects their civilization from the outside world. Here are large monsters, and only “Freelancers” can venture outside the wall. In the trailer, we see some features of the exosuits that you fight in as a Freelancer: The Javelin. With the suits, Freelancers can fly, dive, and use various attacks.
Javelin exosuits have different “classes”: There will be at least 4 different Javelins. For example, there is a “Colossus,” which specializes in close combat. The “Ranger” stays more at a distance and seems to be quicker. Also included: Storm and Interceptor.
When is Anthem coming? The release date for Anthem is February 22, 2019. It is scheduled to be released simultaneously for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This has been confirmed by Electronic Arts.
What is Anthem? The online shooter from Electronic Arts is supposed to be similar to Destiny, but it is played in third-person. You play either alone or with up to three other players in a large, vibrant open world. Here, you are on the move as a “Freelancer” and protect humanity from a hostile environment. The focus is meant to be on cooperative play.
For the new game Anthem by Electronic Arts, the release date might already be known. A leak from Amazon Italy just before EA Play states the release date as February 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This aligns with the information that is already known.
Leak just before EA Play: Today at 8 PM, Electronic Arts plans to kick off the press conference, EA Play, E3 2018. However, it seems that the release date for your Destiny-like shooter Anthem is already known. According to a leak from “Amazon Italy”, the release date for the shooter is February 19, 2019. It is supposed to be released simultaneously for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Update: It is now known that the release date is February 22.
Amazon Italy was too early: Amazon Italy is the source of this leak. They state the release date. The description on Amazon is still visible. The leak is relatively plausible. Apparently, a page went live one or two hours too early. Whether the leak is really correct will be revealed in a few hours.
Release date fits: Officially, the release date for Anthem was last aimed for March 2019. However, Electronic Arts left the option open to make the game playable earlier in early access. The shooter has already been postponed once: Originally, Anthem was planned for 2018, but Electronic Arts has since distanced itself from that and made it seem that the plan has always been for early 2019.
Anthem sounds like 4-Player Coop
Is there anything else in the leak? There are 3 sentences in Italian about Anthem. Since my Italian only suffices to order a pizza, here is the machine translation:
In a world unfinished by the gods, a dark faction threatens the rest of humanity.
Play with three other companions and assemble armor technology forged for battle with unique abilities.
Explore huge ruins, fight deadly enemies, and create your own supernatural artifacts.
Anthem is considered a Destiny competitor
Still little known: Even though there is still little known about Anthem, it is assumed that the title can be seen as EA’s answer to “Destiny”, albeit as a third-person shooter. According to reports from the US magazine Kotaku, BioWare is painfully aware of the similarity to Destiny. Allegedly, they fear suffering the same fate as Destiny 2: a community that struggles with the game and complains that there is too little content available. But these are still unconfirmed rumors at the moment.
Update 9:08 PM: The release date is almost correct. Anthem is indeed coming out on February 22, 2019. While EA was showing the trailer for Anthem, press releases went live stating that the launch date for Anthem is February 22.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
At E3 2018, a new reveal trailer announced the release date of FIFA 19. The release date of FIFA 19 is September 28, 2018.
On which platforms is FIFA 19 coming out? The football simulation FIFA 19 will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. With the release on September 28, it is set one day before the release date of FIFA 18 last year.
Play 3 days early: Pre-orderers of the Champions and Ultimate Editions gain early access, allowing them to start 3 days in advance, on September 25. The cover star is Ronaldo, which has now been confirmed with the pre-order editions.
FIFA 19 features the UEFA Champions League, complete with official game presentation, various tournament gameplay experiences including the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup, as well as a new English commentary team featuring Derek Rae and Lee Dixon.
Extensive integration of the Champions League in kick-off mode, FIFA Ultimate Team, and Career Mode

Gameplay Innovations – More Control for the Player
EA aims to give players greater control over the game with FIFA 19, which was a major criticism in FIFA 18. These changes are intended to have a greater impact on both the tactical and technical aspects of FIFA 19’s gameplay.
The new Active Touch system allows for tighter ball control,
Dynamic Tactics provide more extensive and readily accessible strategies,
50/50 battles enable a more physical and skill-based fight for the ball,
shooting timing gives players more control during goal attempts,
and the enhanced Real Player Motion Technology brings more player personality and more realistic and authentic animations.
Unfortunately, EA did not show any videos of the new gameplay but instead focused on highlighting the free World Cup mode of FIFA 18. More information will follow soon.
The studio Respawn is developing three games: Titanfall 3, a new Star Wars adventure, and a VR war game. One of them will be shown at EA Play. This is the press conference of Electronic Arts. It kicks off the E3 2018 this evening.
We will show a little something: On Twitter, Respawn announced that they will show a “small juicy thing” at EA Play today. They are not yet ready to talk about all the wonderful things they are working on. But they can show a small snippet of one of the three projects this evening. That is in, says Respawn’s head Vince Zampella.

EA Play this evening: The “EA Play” this evening opens the series of press conferences before E3 2018. EA Games has announced that they will show Battlefield, Anthem, some sports games, and a few surprises. One of the surprises comes from Respawn.
Door 1 – Will they show a Star Wars adventure? It is known that Respawn is working on a Star Wars game (via Respawn), which is supposed to be released before March 2020. Together with Lucasfilm, Respawn is working on a “brand new action-adventure in the Star Wars universe.” It is said to be a third-person game. More details are not yet known.
Door 2 – A VR game: Furthermore, Respawn is partnering with Oculus on a virtual reality war game. The game does not have a title yet, is set to release in 2019, and aims to provide players with a war experience.

Will we see Titanfall 3 tonight and will it be even faster?
Door 3 – Titanfall 3: The option that is certainly most interesting for many fans is Titanfall 3. In the franchise, players step into giant mechs, the Titans. The series is known for its breakneck pace. It is also certain that a new part of Titanfall 3 is in development. Titanfall 2 was loved by its fans and critics, but disappointed in sales. The flop is commonly blamed on a horrible chosen release window.
Update 8:22 PM: It turned out to be the Star Wars adventure. It is set to be titled “Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order” and is expected to be released at the end of 2019. It will take place in the “dark times” when Jedi were hunted. Respawn did not show any images of the new game.

Battlefield 5 will feature a Battle Royale mode, EA confirmed during the press conference at E3 2018.
The new Battlefield V is tapping into the current gaming hype and brings a Battle Royale mode. However, this mode is supposed to have its own charm and is named “Royale”.
EA has not yet released much information about it, but that will happen later this year. However, they have already announced that you can drive vehicles there and that teamwork is essential.
Additionally, it will be all about destruction in true Battlefield style. However, the mode is supposed to be different from what you have played before. How many players the mode includes or when “Royal” for Battlefield V will be released has not yet been announced.
Battlefield 5 is set during World War II and offers content for both single-player and multiplayer. More information about the single-player content will be revealed during the Microsoft press conference at E3.
Battlefield 5 will be released on October 19 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The E3 2018 has started. There, EA presented a new multiplayer trailer for Battlefield V showing new intense combat scenes from snowy Norway. The Battle Royale for Battlefield 5 was also announced.
It gets right to the point: EA kicks off the E3 2018 with a bang. At the very beginning of the fair, DICE presents the official multiplayer trailer for Battlefield 5.
What does the Battlefield 5 trailer show? It features the invasion of a port city and massive battles between the Allies and the Wehrmacht in wintery Norway – on land, on water, and in the air.
Battle Royale for Battlefield 5 announced in the livestream: During the presentation, a Battle Royale mode for the upcoming installment of the Battlefield series was also announced. In Battlefield V, it is quite unceremoniously called “Royale.”.
EA Sports has released the first reveal trailer for the latest installment of its football series, FIFA 19, showcasing the official announcement of the UEFA license for FIFA 19, which includes the UEFA Champions League and Europa League and introduces several new features.
The Champions League in FUT, Career Mode, and The Journey
New Licenses: The biggest news at EA Play for FIFA 19 was the announcement of the UEFA Champions League. The rights have been acquired from Konami, which had previously used the license for Pro Evolution Soccer. EA stated at the press conference that the Champions League would be available in Career Mode, Kick-Off mode in FUT (Ultimate Team), and in “The Journey.” The Journey: Champions also marks the finale of the story mode.
The features and key information regarding the UEFA license at a glance
Extensive integration of the Champions League in Kick-Off mode, FIFA Ultimate Team, and Career Mode
Standalone UEFA Champions League mode, from the group stage to the final. Alternatively, you can create a personal tournament with a European club of your choice.
Live content updates for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League
In The Journey: Champions, you take on the role of the young star player Alex Hunter, making an impact in the UEFA Champions League. This is the finale of the story mode and is available only for PS4, PC, and Xbox One
The German version again features the commentary team of Wolff-Christoph Fuss and Frank Buschmann
The extent to which the Europa League and the Super Cup will be included is not yet known. But one already knows: They are also in the game:
FIFA 19 includes the UEFA Champions League, with official game presentation, various tournament experiences including UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup … (EA)
Game presentation with official UEFA elements: Jersey crests, match balls, the famous trophies of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Super Cup, along with additional broadcast elements like a remix of the Champions League soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, are set to create an authentic UEFA atmosphere.
And what else was there at the reveal for E3 2018? What about gameplay? Unfortunately, they were quite reserved on this issue. Major gameplay changes were promised, but nothing was shown. Aaron McHardy, Executive Producer, stated that FIFA 19 will provide more control over gameplay.
The new Active Touch system fundamentally changes ball reception and touches, allowing for tighter ball control, which should also permit more creativity from the player
The finishing timing gives players more control over shots on goal.
And there will also be more dynamic, easily accessible tactical changes for the player that support this goal.
New cover star: Ronaldo had already been speculated to be the cover star based on a piece of artwork. This is now confirmed. According to our poll on the FIFA 19 cover, you would have preferred Mohammed Salah or Thomas Müller.
With Battle for Azeroth, the Alterac Valley of WoW gets its bite back. The NPC guards become real threats.
The guards of the bunkers, towers, and the final bosses in the battleground “Alterac Valley” of World of Warcraft become more resilient with Battle for Azeroth. Even as player levels increase, they are meant to constantly present a challenge.
What was the problem? NPC soldiers in Alterac Valley lose their terror with increasing gear. At the beginning of an expansion, you still panic when three Alliance archers fire on our character simultaneously; later on, this only elicits a weary smile.
Pre-addon Alterac is the best. Many players believe that Alterac Valley just before the release of a new expansion is the best battleground of all. Because then the NPCs are already ten levels higher than the players (so already level 120) and pose a real danger. The fights go long, and even the boss fights are often so demanding that half the raid gets wiped. This reminds many players of the “good old days,” when Alterac Valley lasted for hours or even days.
New scaling gives guards bonus strength. On the PTR of Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard has also equipped the NPCs of Alterac Valley with the scaling system. The strength of the NPCs adjusts to the level and gear of the players. Thus, it is hoped to maintain the “difficulty of the guards throughout Legion.”
Better rewards. In addition to the changes, Alterac Valley is considered one of the “Epic Battlegrounds” due to its size and potential duration. These will be provided with special rewards in Battle for Azeroth – the increased time investment should also be compensated with more honor.
Fan opinions are mixed: The player base does not have a unified opinion on the changes. Some fans welcome that the guards remain a threat. Other players criticize that Alterac Valley thus becomes even more of a “PvP map” where not other players but NPCs pose the real threat.
Alterac Valley is so popular, by the way, that it will soon even appear in Heroes of the Storm:
The new mini-teaser for Battlefield 5 is already better received by fans than the long reveal trailer. But why?
With its reveal trailer, Battlefield 5 had a difficult start. The video garnered plenty of downvotes on YouTube. Now, the developers are releasing a new teaser for the multiplayer that shows just 5 seconds of gameplay, and fans are ecstatic. A topsy-turvy world?
New Battlefield V Trailer
With a mini-teaser, EA aims to excite the fans before the E3 appearance. And surprisingly, it works. The multiplayer teaser shows players jumping out of an airplane, soldiers parachuting onto a battlefield, and burning, crashing planes. All set in a snowy environment.

On YouTube, many expressed their frustration through negative ratings. With over 10 million views, there are about 300,000 thumbs up and nearly 400,000 thumbs down.

But now the new mini-teaser is well received on YouTube. With currently 80,000 views, there are 4,000 thumbs up and only 500 thumbs down. A significant difference from the reveal trailer.
On Reddit and in the comments on YouTube, fans are looking more satisfied now. They are now looking positively towards E3 2018 and eagerly awaiting the new content coming.
During E3 2018, the multiplayer part of Battlefield 5 is to be highlighted. More about the Grand Operations will be revealed, where the last survivor decides who wins the match.

What is Fortnite planning for E3 and when can we see it? We have all the information about Fortnite at E3 2018.
ProAm tournament is the big E3 event: Fortnite is planning a major event at E3 2018, a 100-person “ProAm” tournament. “ProAm” means that amateurs and professionals play together. 50 teams consisting of one professional and one amateur will compete against each other.
Professionals in this case are top eSports players, YouTubers, or Twitch streamers.
The “amateurs” are professional athletes (mostly basketball players and UFC fighters), actors, musicians, wrestlers, or other celebrities who are gaming enthusiasts.
When the basketball star picks up the controller
The top pairs: In professional sports in the USA, the topic “Fortnite” has been prevalent in recent weeks. Many of the top athletes are in their 20s and 30s and have a lot of free time between games and training – they spend it playing video games. Thus, the lineup for the Fortnite tournament features five NBA players, an NFL player, three UFC fighters, and a wrestler. Eighteen actors are participating, four singers, and five artists for “electronic dance music,” what used to be called a “DJ” in barbaric times.
Streamer Ninja and music producer Marshmello
Esports pro TSM_Myth and NBA superstar Paul George
Markiplier and actor Joel McHale (Community)
Gotaga and UFC fighter Demetrious Johnson
The controversial YouTuber Ali-A and Fallout Boy’s bassist, Pete Wentz
CDNTHE3RD and wrestler Xavier Woods
The 100 players will battle each other in a regular 100-person match, which will be broadcast live.
Spectacle starts Tuesday night
When can we see it? The 100-person match starts on the night of Tuesday, June 12, to Wednesday, June 13, at 12:30 AM our time.
After-show party: After the tournament, there will be the “Party Royale,” which requires an official invitation that can be won at the Fortnite booth. The booth is open from June 12 to June 14 – it is in the South Hall of the LA Convention Center at booth 2723.
Is Epic announcing the port of Fortnite on the Switch or the Android release?
Are any major announcements expected?
Officially, nothing is known about that. But at least three announcements are pending:
Currently, the port of Fortnite on the “Nintendo Switch” is up in the air. Whether Epic Games will announce it during E3 2018 is uncertain. Epic Games is now capable of anything.
One could wildly speculate that they might announce “Save the World will be free”. That’s also supposed to happen in 2018, but there are no signs of that.
It might also be that Epic announces a new weapon, the new “Creative” mode, or something else relatively “normal.”
It’s quite possible that Epic Games will let others handle the big announcements at E3 and just want to celebrate a bit themselves. They certainly have reason to celebrate. After all, Fortnite is apparently one of the biggest games in the world. 2018 has so far been all about the shooter.
For the water event, there are special field research tasks in Pokémon GO. We will show you the quests and the rewards here.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset
What is The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset? The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) receives another chapter with Summerset. This is how Zenimax refers to the major paid expansions that are released alongside DLCs.
What’s it about? In the new expansion, you travel to the Summerset Isles, the homeland of the High Elves, also known as Altmer, after your queen has opened the borders to outsiders. However, upon arrival, you quickly realize that something is amiss and become embroiled in an exciting story. The plot line around the Daedric Triad continues here.
Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC Release: June 5, 2018 Publisher: Bethesda Softworks Business Model: Free to Play Genre: MMORPG Comparable to: Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR), Final Fantasy XIV
What’s inside? Summerset features a plethora of new quests that lead players across the Summerset Isles and offer a lot of challenges. In this context, you will explore the new picturesque game area – the Summerset Isles. There is also plenty of lore to discover. You will learn more about the Altmer people. The High Elves had isolated themselves from the rest of Tamriel for a long time.
Additionally, new world events such as the Rift Geysers, including boss fights, await fans. Gameplay changes also come with Summerset. In particular, the tweaking of two-handed weapons that now allow players to receive a five-piece set bonus brings some alterations to the game. Moreover, there is new jewelry crafting.
What makes The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset special
A beautifully designed game area
Deep Lore
Gameplay changes
New crafting – jewelry crafting
Many new quests
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset offers the following multiplayer elements
The Elder Scrolls Online essentially provides everything one would expect from an MMORPG in terms of multiplayer: various PvE group activities such as world events, raids, or dungeons, as well as battlegrounds, alliance war, or duels for PvP fans.
However, even the main game of ESO is designed in such a way that it appeals to not only MMORPG fans but also single-player enthusiasts. The level scaling, allowing players to complete any content of the game, regardless of their level, also motivates solo players to experience ESO as a single-player RPG. Thus, ESO feels at times like a single-player role-playing game dressed as an MMO.
This hasn’t changed much with Summerset. Only a few pieces of content, such as the new 12-player raid Cloudrest or the geysers, require a group. So if you preferred to play solo before, you can still do so in Summerset.
However, it is also possible to find a good group and complete quests together as a team, visiting dungeons. Players have the freedom to decide how they want to experience Summerset.
The mood surrounding The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset
Overall, the mood around the new expansion Summerset is quite positive. The majority of fans love the new elven islands. After the volcanic island of Morrowind, Summerset now represents a classic fantasy setting on a picturesque island. This “high-fantasy” setting appears to resonate very well with players of The Elder Scrolls Online. Especially the atmosphere and the beautiful aesthetics of the new area receive a lot of praise.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is ideal for…
Players for whom PvE content, quests, and lore take precedence in an MMORPG and for whom innovations are not an absolute must in a new expansion. Because Summerset primarily offers a lot more of what players already know and love from the main game and Morrowind: vast areas filled with secrets, an exciting story, and several gameplay innovations. Veterans will feel right at home, while newcomers will be well introduced to the game. If you’re looking for an MMO with a fantasy setting, you should definitely check out ESO Summerset.

To outplay your opponent, you must master and combine various basic techniques such as topspins, slices, or lobs, using them skillfully as well as countering. Success largely depends on timing and the correct use of special abilities, which can even destroy the opponent’s racket but can also be blocked.

Aces can be played in both local and online multiplayer with up to four players. In addition to individual matches, tournaments can also be held or contested. Here, players can compete in singles or doubles.
The mood surrounding Mario Tennis Aces
The mood among fans is very optimistic. The Mario Tennis series is very popular within the Nintendo community, and players are eagerly awaiting the first Switch implementation. Reports from a recently held multiplayer test weekend have also been largely positive. Negative aspects have been heard infrequently.
Mario Tennis Aces is ideal for …
Players who either love Mario, enjoy tennis as a sport, or ideally like both together. If you also enjoy competing in quick fun titles like Mario Kart with others, you should have a great time. What’s it about? In The Crew 2, you assume the role of a relatively unknown aspiring racer trying to establish himself across various racing disciplines. In an open world, you will participate in various racing events with different cars, airplanes, motorcycles, or boats and advance your career.
Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC Release: June 29 2018 Publisher: Ubisoft Business Model: Buy2Play Genre: Open World Racing Game Comparable to: The Crew
What’s inside? Once again, the setting of The Crew’s second part is the USA – from the West Coast to the East Coast – with a headquarters in Miami. The numerous cities and locations – from Los Angeles to Detroit to Miami and the Everglades – look truly impressive, and in this second game of the series, they shine with many additional details.
Both the races and the vehicle selection are impressive. In the open game world, players can now control many cars, airplanes, motorcycles, and boats across various disciplines and switch their vehicle at the push of a button. This includes off-road excursions, street races, professional racing events, and freestyle.
Players earn cash for racing successes, which can be invested in tuning or customizing vehicles and characters. Even more important are the followers gained during races thanks to spectacular stunts. With increasing follower counts, players can participate in increasingly lucrative events.
What defines The Crew 2
A large fleet with various vehicles, airplanes, and boats
Tuning and customization of vehicles
A vast, open, and freely explorable game world
Diverse and varied racing disciplines on land, water, and air
RPG-style progression system for vehicles
The Crew 2 offers the following multiplayer elements
The Crew primarily focuses on multiplayer. The predecessor was often marketed as a racing MMO. However, the game did not really live up to that designation. The Crew 2 aims to improve on everything according to Ivory Tower.
In the multiplayer mode of The Crew 2, up to eight players can compete against each other in various competitions and races. The story can also be played cooperatively with your crew.
However, there isn’t a lot of information available yet. It will be exciting to see how the developers shape the online component and what everything will ultimately be offered at and post-launch.
The mood surrounding The Crew 2
The mood is currently mixed – especially after the recently held beta. There are numerous fans looking forward to the game, considering it a consistent evolution from the first part. Particularly the game world, the varied disciplines, and the fleet receive a lot of praise.
However, there are also critical voices within the community. In addition to frequent criticism of the still very rigid collision physics, the multiplayer aspect is particularly criticized. Many wished for more than just eight players in the multiplayer component. It is also not yet clear what the actual scope and possibilities of the online features will be. The partly very vague controls are also frequently criticized.
The Crew 2 is ideal for …
Racing fans who may not recognize terms like camber, downforce, or limited-slip differential but still enjoy fast cars and other vehicles and are keen on competing against other players. If you can overlook realism and prefer an open-world experience with numerous varied modes, then The Crew 2 is just right for you.

Neowiz promises that Bless will get its English localization in order. The German translation is delayed.
The early access of Bless did not go exactly smoothly. After numerous issues with the server and game mechanics, there was also another annoyance – the translation. A German localization was completely missing, and the English translation of the game was a disaster. Quest texts were flawed, descriptions of abilities and menus misleading, and even system messages were full of ambiguous instructions.
English localization is the focus: In a “Producer’s Letter” it was promised that Bless will address these issues. All other tasks of the localization teams have been paused for now to fully dedicate themselves to the English translation and to expedite it as quickly as possible while eliminating errors. Meanwhile, the localization of the “main story” has already reached 90% – however, nothing is said about how side quests, menus, and other texts in the game are progressing.
German fans feel cheated: Especially the German player base of Bless feels cheated by the developer, as they were promised a German localization of the game. However, this is not present. In the letter, this very problem is mentioned. After the English translation has been “finalized”, they want to turn to the German localization – until then, it is on hold.
The producer’s letter also promises that Bless is working on other fronts. The number of support staff has been increased to handle tickets more quickly.
