Night elves get new clothing in WoW: Battle for Azeroth. The sexy armor strongly resembles the outfit from the Classic cinematic.
Those who watch the first cinematic of World of Warcraft might be overwhelmed by nostalgic feelings. In Battle for Azeroth, players are likely to notice a special detail. The guards of the night elves receive new, updated armor that exactly matches the clothing from the cinematic.
Outfits like in Warcraft 3: The new armor of the night elves corresponds to what many players have long wished for. It better captures the more “Amazonian” look of the night elves that prevailed in Warcraft 3 and was also reinforced by the cinematic from classic World of Warcraft. However, such armor was never seen in the game.
For male representatives of the night elves, the armor looks a bit different, but is similarly revealing.
Fans hope for Heritage Armor. Fans are quite excited about the update of the guards’ armor and even harbor greater hopes. They suspect that this clothing could eventually be implemented as “Heritage Armor” for the night elves. However, there are currently no indications for this. Only the new allied races have received “Heritage Armor” so far. Blizzard had already stated that they are “considering introducing this for older races” when the right time comes.
Other players joke a bit and say, “So we have to lose our home first to get cool clothing.” Whether the armor will ever be available to players is not known at this time.
What do you think of this armor set? Would you like to see it on your night elf?
The Psijik Order of the Summerset addon offers you the opportunity to join a new “guild” in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, through which you will gain new skills. In this guide, we will tell you how to advance in the Psijik Order and acquire the skill line.
The Questline of the Psijik Order
The rise in the Psijik Order. As you may know from other guilds, you will first need to prove yourself through a questline and work your way up the ranks.
[toc]
The first steps from “The Queen’s Decree”
The first steps are as follows:
You start the questline “The Queen’s Decree,” which leads you to Artaeum.
Once at Artaeum, seek out Celarus in the Ceporah Tower and speak to him.
This starts the quest “The Call of the Psijik.”
Now travel to the Coral Cliffs to find the Augur of the Obscure in a chest on the beach. This is necessary to close the time rifts. Use the map for this.
The Augur will lead you to the rifts and will give you a hint when you are nearby.
Use the Augur when you reach a rift to close it.
In total, there are 9 time rifts in Summerset.
Step 2: Close Rifts
You should then close more rifts located outside the islands at the following places:
Glenumbra The burial mounds northwest of the Dolmen of Daenia, Wyrd Tree of the Beldama
Stumhafen Kamberland Falls, Moonshadow Sinkhole, south of Koeglin Lighthouse
Alik’r Desert The Eastern Refuge, east of Ragnthar, Salas En
Return repeatedly to Celarus and Josajeh, who are the two quest givers of the questline. You need to close nine rifts again, which you will find here:
Eastmarch Wittestadr, Thane Jeggis’ Drinking Hole, south of Dunelwater Crossing
Rift Dolmen of the Rock Pool, west of the Foe Peak Caverns, Breakbone Cave
Stone Falls East of the Way Shrine of the Sulfur Pools, west of the Way Shrine at the Brothers of Discord, Senie
Step 3: “Staves of the Towers” – Find the Pieces of the Shattered Staff
Upon successful completion of these tasks, you will receive the quest to find four pieces of the shattered “Staff of the Towers.” Your map and also a beam of light near the staff pieces will help you locate the pieces. You will find the parts here:
Pelin Cemetery in Bangkorei
Hist in Shadowfen
Lekis Blade in Alik’r Desert
Venom Tooth Tip in Deshaan
Step 4: New Rifts Need to be Closed at These Locations
Subsequently, new time rifts were discovered that you need to close again:
Grahtwood North of Remanstrug, Bonehouse of Telacar, Gil-Var-Tall
Malabal Tor North of the Dolmen of Xylotal, Horseshoe Island, north of the Way Shrine in Wildlings’ Run
Green Shade North of the Hillgrave, the Labyrinth, Fisher’s Rest
Deshaan Bthanual, Malak’s Abyss, west of the Dolmen of Lagomere, Shrine of the Holy Veloth, near the entrance of the Darkshade Cavern
Shadowfen West of Hei-Halai, Mothermoore, the Silt Marsh, Dolmen of the Venom Pool
Step 5: Search Again for Parts for the Staff
Now you need to search for another four parts of the staff:
Brothers of Discord in Stone Falls
Sorcery Scar in Kargsteinn
Greenheart in Green Shade
Sorrowing Giant in Stumhafen
Step 6: Mine of Divad’s Displeasure – Complete the Dungeon
After you have closed several time rifts in the Rift Peak and in Kargsteinn (use your map), you will realize that the Staff of the Towers has been stolen. Your task is to find it. This leads you to the dungeon “Mine of Divad’s Displeasure” in the Alik’r Desert. There, you will face a boss fight, which concludes the questline of the Psijik Order.
Afterwards, you will have risen to the highest rank and gained access to all abilities provided to you by the order.
These Skills You Receive from the Psijik Order
These abilities are offered to you by the Psijik Order. As you rise in the ranks of the order, you gain these skills:
Active Skills
Time Freeze – Freezes the passage of time in a certain area. The movement speed of enemies is reduced until they are eventually stunned.
Borrowed Time – The next healing on stunned enemies remains ineffective for some time.
Time Stop – The preparation time is removed; however, it takes longer to stun enemies.
Charge Weapon – Your next light attack deals additional physical damage.
Elemental Weapon – Deals magic damage and creates a random elemental status effect.
Crushing Weapon – Heals you for a portion of the damage dealt.
Meditate – You restore health, Magicka, and stamina every second.
Deep in Thought – You gain more restored Magicka and stamina.
Introspection – The restored health increases with ongoing duration.
Accelerate – You gain greater speed and some power; your movement speed and critical damage are increased.
Concentrated Acceleration – Triples the duration but adds a cast time.
Against Time – The costs of sprinting are reduced.
Wound Care – You replace your next light or heavy attack with healing abilities that affect allies.
Spirit Care – An ally gains greater resolve and protection during healing.
Symbiosis – You heal yourself for a portion of the health restored to an ally.
Sight of the Unseen – You can now interact with spires across Tamriel and gain treasures this way.
Clairvoyance – Reduces the costs of Psijik Order skills.
Magicka Sphere – You gain a charge of Magicka. With five charges, you send out a Magicka Sphere that deals magic damage or physical damage to the next enemy.
Concentrated Barrier – As long as you have a skill of the Psijik Order equipped, you receive a damage shield when blocking.
Prudence – As long as you are performing or channeling a skill of the Psijik Order, your protection is increased.
Ultimates
Undo – By a sort of time leap into the past, your health, Magicka, stamina, and position are reset to the state from a few seconds ago.
Foreknowledge – During a mass control, you gain immunity against it.
Temporal Guardian – You gain a small shield that reduces damage.

During a live stream about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, developer Treyarch promised to bring back some of the community’s most popular multiplayer maps – and that at launch. Fans are excited.
Four maps at E3 2018: As part of a Call of Duty live stream for the upcoming installment Black Ops 4, developer Treyarch showcased the multiplayer content of the title, which will be featured at the E3 2018 from June 12 to June 15.
The three already revealed maps Contraband, Seaside, and Payload will be complemented by a fourth multiplayer map – Frequency. This newly introduced map is set in the Chinese province of Hunan. Frequency is designed to be small and tight, making it suitable for exciting and intense close-quarters combat.
Community favorites are set to return: Additionally, the developers promised that Black Ops 4 will bring back some of the most popular maps from previous installments of the Black Ops series in visually enhanced form at launch. Each edition of the game will include these maps.
The following maps are confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Both some new maps and some already known maps are now confirmed for Black Ops 4.
The new maps are:
Contraband
Seaside
Payload
Frequency
The maps returning are:
Jungle (Black Ops 1)
Slums (Black Ops 2)
Summit (Black Ops 1)
Firing Range (Black Ops 1/2)
Nuketown will also be back: As fans have suspected for a few weeks now, Black Ops 4 will once again feature the popular map Nuketown, a staple of the series. However, this map will not be available at launch. It is expected to be added in November as a free update.
Fans are happy: Many fans are excited about this announcement – especially about the returning maps. There are also voices criticizing Treyarch for lacking creativity and recycling, as five already known maps are being reused. However, the majority of the community seems positive about the return of these beloved classics according to early reactions.
The E3 is just around the corner, promising delicious announcements for new games again this year. Which games have you been eyeing or are you hoping for a particular title to be announced?
From June 12 to June 15, the E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, will take place in Los Angeles. Even beforehand, the big publishers are holding their own press conferences or releasing teasers and trailers for games that will be presented at the event.
Schuhmann is most looking forward to Anthem, Red Dead Redemption 2, and The Division 2. He would like to know how this subgenre “shooter with RPG elements” will evolve.
Jürgen remains loyal to his beloved The Elder Scrolls Online and wishes for information on upcoming DLCs. He is also excited about Fallout 76, even though he believes fans will be dissatisfied with the new title in the Fallout series.
Leya and Patrick are again in Pokémon fever, although Patrick will also keep an eye open for new shooters like Battlefield and Anthem.
As Destiny experts, Sven is drawn to the upcoming expansion “Forsaken” for Destiny 2. But he also has The Division 2 and Anthem in his sights.
Robert will also deal with Anthem and hopes for news on the remake of Final Fantasy VII. A typical optimist, he is already expecting a release of the remake in 2039.
Micha is also looking forward to Fallout 76 and would also like to see the announcement of a new installment in the HALO series.
Recently, organic material was discovered on Mars. This is a groundbreaking discovery for science, but gamers think of something completely different: Doom and hell!
What happened on Mars? Currently, the Curiosity Rover is still zooming around Mars and collecting samples. One of them has recently excited NASA scientists. A rock that is billions of years old contained ancient organic material! So, something that may have once been alive!
While such a discovery is another step for NASA in the deeper exploration of space and extraterrestrial life, some gamers might already be on the lookout for a chainsaw…
What was the story of Doom again?
Here’s how it went in Doom: Shooter fans are certainly reminded of the story of the legendary shooter Doom by the find from the Curiosity Rover. Its latest incarnation was released in 2016 and impressed with particularly wild slaughtering orgies. In Doom, a Space Marine guns and slaughters his way through sheer hordes of hellish creatures.
They all come from a dimensional tear from a research base. And the cause of all these eerie experiments in Doom could possibly have also been the discovery of mysterious “things” on Mars.
Is hell on Earth now a threat?
It’s not that bad: NASA researchers soon explained that while the find is significant, the existence of organic substances does not necessarily mean that aliens live or have lived on Mars. Instead, organic material could also arise through non-biological methods.
Additionally, (yet) no hell portals have been observed on Mars or its moons Deimos and Phobos. So, you can put the chainsaw back in the toolbox for now…
The online game Fortnite has two different game modes. The popular and free “Battle Royale” and the less popular paid “Save the World”. Should you indulge in the PvE game if you love Fortnite: Battle Royale?
The V-Buck thing: For costumes in “Battle Royale” you need V-Bucks. You can earn them plentifully in the “Save the World” mode. However, it only pays off if you play regularly and complete the daily challenges. If you’re only buying “Save the World” for the V-Bucks, you should still have at least 6-10 hours a week to enjoy “Save the World”, then the V-Bucks will flow. Otherwise, it might turn out to be a bad purchase.
Do I also spend V-Bucks in “Save the World”? Not necessarily. You can get Loot Llamas in “Save the World” for V-Bucks, but if you play regularly, it’s not essential. There are now ways to earn the currency “Gold”, which you can use to buy good heroes, traps, and weapons in the event shop.
No one has to necessarily leave V-Bucks in “Save the World” to progress like they did in the first weeks. The V-Bucks earned in PvE can be saved to buy skins for Battle Royale. Frequent players and skin fans can save a lot of money.
Save the World is fun, but it’s very different from Battle Royale
Is “Save the World” fun? Yes, it is fun. However, it is a completely different gaming experience from “Fortnite: Battle Royale.” These are two different gaming experiences that appeal to different types of players. Just because you love “Battle Royale” doesn’t mean you have to like “Save the World”. You need to look closely at what you like about Battle Royale.
Save the World – much slower: In PvE, there is rarely real hustle or adrenaline moments. It is more of a strategic shooter. You have time to build “trap corridors” and fortifications and prepare for the onslaught of enemies. While in Battle Royale you always have to be on the move and improvise, “Save the World” is significantly more relaxed. You consider where the enemies might run and then build them a “kill tunnel” that they have to go through and hopefully die in.
Long tutorial: In general, “Save the World” starts off slowly. The starting area is essentially a drawn-out tutorial. Other than that, progress in the game is also quite slow. There are a handful of different mission types that you repeatedly play. You really have to enjoy “grinding” to find enjoyment in Fortnite “Save the World”.
No sweat, but time for a coffee: While you sweat in Battle Royale and something unexpected can happen every second, the rounds in “Save the World” are much more relaxed. You play in coop with 3 others, the missions are planned, last about 20 to 25 minutes, and have actually few highlights. Only with later base defenses does it get hectic. If you like stress, you can increase the difficulty of a mission: If you’re still a bit under-leveled, you might face such masses of enemies that there’s a danger of being overwhelmed.
What then is fun? The thrill in “Save the World” comes from developing your account further. You think about which item to level up, how to gradually expand your own “home base”, and which new “heroes” to save up for. The individual missions play well but are somewhat uniform. Playing coop with several friends makes any online game more fun. This also applies to Fortnite: Save the World.
Who should get “Save the World”?
Is it worth it to get “Save the World” for V-Bucks? For V-Bucks, it’s definitely worth it. The “small package” is enough, or if you can get a friend’s code cheaply. You definitely don’t need the big deluxe packages. However, you should be willing to play at least 1 or 2 rounds a day to ensure the V-Bucks come in.
Is it worth it to get “Save the World” for gameplay fun?
If you enjoy the action and excitement in “Battle Royale”, then no – If you run away screaming from strategy games and shout “Boring” when you don’t have a shock moment every 20 seconds, you should stay away from Fortnite: “Save the World”.
If you enjoy the graphics and shooter gameplay of Fortnite, but occasionally want to take a breather, you can recommend “Save the World”. If you prefer to wait for your chance in “Battle Royale”, “Save the World” is also okay. It might be ideal to sprinkle in a relaxed round of “Save the World” to unwind from the stress in “Battle Royale”.
Should I wait for “Save the World” to become free?
When will Fortnite “Save the World” become free? Many hesitate with a purchase because the PvE part of Fortnite was supposed to become free in 2018. However, it is still not known when this will happen. There have also been no indications in recent months that the shift of Fortnite: Save the World to “Free2Play” is imminent.
More than one million players. The development team has now worked hard on the issues and has gotten the wait times under control. The team is also proud of the success:
More than one million players have signed up for the RPG.
The developers announce that since the start of the open beta, 1,064,484 Slayers have been created.
About 50,000 new players join daily.
More than 6.3 million hours have already been played in total.
Players have now killed over 5.8 million Behemoths.
This is a remarkable achievement for Dauntless, as fans lost faith in the game at times. Many shifted their interest to Monster Hunter World, which plays faster. Interest in Dauntless declined, and this was clearly reflected in Google trends. The advantage of Dauntless: Monster Hunter World was not released for PC and is still a long way off. It is only expected to come to PC in the fall – Dauntless is already playable now.
What’s next? Currently, Dauntless is in open beta, which represents a soft launch. Later this year, the beta will simply transition into the regular release. The team also states that they have big plans to support the RPG with updates, expansions, and new Behemoths for a long time.

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds parodies the “Battle Royale” genre and is well-received by players. The homage to PUBG and Fortnite is available for free on Steam.
Quirky graphics, “physics-based everything”: Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, or TABG, has been available for free on Steam since June 6, 2018. The developers describe the game as the “last-weirdo-standing battle royale game” and humorously parody the thriving battle royale genre. Features include:
a huge map
“physics-based everything”
free character customization.
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is very minimalist. After starting, you can dress your character, choose a server – and then get started. It’s best to play the game without taking it too seriously and in “Gangsta” mode (Key G). Have fun!
The curious – TABG has more players than H1Z1: What initially seems like an April Fool’s joke has developed into much more. TABG has seen more than 20,000 players at times in recent days. This already surpasses the number of users in H1Z1 since early March and more than doubles the competitors Radical Heights and The Darwin Project. Those games have not been able to reach these numbers so far.
An exploit in Overwatch is currently causing Symmetra to be able to kill all opponents in less than a second on the PTR. We reveal what went wrong.
In the current PTR of Overwatch, players can test Symmetra’s rework. She is no longer a support character but has been assigned to the damage category. However, during the rework, a serious bug occurred. Thanks to an exploit, she can achieve absurd damage values of a whopping 735 DPS. Even tanks like Roadhog or D.Va die in less than a second.
What is the error with Symmetra? Symmetra’s weapon is supposed to deal a specific amount of damage over the course of a second – that is, continuous damage that increases over time. Currently, however, it deals damage in fixed intervals. The first interval occurs right when the weapon is fired and deals 49 damage. If you repeatedly press the fire button, each “shot” deals 49 damage.
How does the exploit work? Only with a macro is it possible to squeeze out the optimal damage performance from Symmetra. Keyboards and programs allow simulating clicks and timing them precisely to the frame. If you shoot in all four frames (that is, every 21 milliseconds in Overwatch), that is the fastest way to deal damage. Thus, even tanks melt away in mere moments, as this little clip shows:
Caution: Using such macros in Overwatch is prohibited and can lead to account closure. However, the rules on the PTR are not as strict – that is where such bugs are meant to be found.
It is expected that Blizzard will fix the error before the release of the rework. Until then, one can have fun with the erroneous damage on the PTR.
This makes Symmetra currently the strongest heroine in Overwatch.
Players who attended the Pokémon GO Fan Festival in Chicago last year successfully sued Niantic. The festival was a disaster and trainers suffered significant losses. Niantic must pay a sum of 1,575,000 US dollars in damages.
What happened? In July 2017 there was the GO Fest in Chicago’s Grant Park. It was a huge event where over 20,000 fans gathered in Chicago to unlock legendary Pokémon for Pokémon GO together. The festival ended up being a total failure and the players were very angry.
What was the problem? The servers crashed under the load of so many players. Players could not log in.
What were the consequences? Many players filed lawsuits and wanted compensation from Niantic. Some players paid expensive flights to Chicago and hotel costs to attend the event. These lawsuits were now successful; Niantic has to pay.
Here is a reminder video of the “We can’t play” chants. The players were so angry that they booed Niantic’s CEO. A real mess indeed.

Niantic wants to try again: Fan Festival will take place again in July
Converted, there are now 1,350,000 euros in a settlement fund. Anyone who wants to claim their share must request their money. On the designated page gofestsettlement.com, affected individuals can register to receive the compensation. The imposed ruling is also published there and can be read in detail.
There will be a GO Fest again this year: The Pokémon GO Fest will take place again in Chicago on July 14 and 15, 2018. The event will be held in historic Lincoln Park over a distance of 3 kilometers.
Guild Wars 2 is expected to receive new mount skins for the shop in an upcoming update. This time, they are particularly impressive “Awakened Mounts” that look like they just crawled out of a pyramid.
What is it about? Mounts have been in Guild Wars 2 since the add-on Path of Fire. There are four regular creatures and one bonus mount. And if you don’t like the standard skins, you can further customize them with skins from the shop.
There will soon be entirely new skins that will make your mounts look really exotic.
Dataminers Find Mummy Mounts
A goldmine for dataminers: Currently, the code of Guild Wars 2 is a feast for dataminers. Apparently, there are a lot of data and images of content that are not yet active due to the postponement of the next story episode.
It didn’t take long for the first images of new features from the client to surface. The highlight clearly are the new mounts, which are categorized as “Awakened Mounts” in the game.
Here are the new skins: The Awakened Mounts are four alternative skins for the Jackal, the Raptor, the Skimmer, and the Springer. They all look like the mounts just crawled out of an ancient pyramid. They still have mummy wrappings and magnificent grave adornments.
The mounts are expected to be available in an “Awakened Mounts Pack” in the shop. It is still unclear how much such a pack will cost and whether all mounts will be included or just a random selection. We have embedded a gallery of the new mount skins here for you.
Not for Everyone’s Taste
Cool mummies or toilet paper clowns? Reactions among fans are mixed. Many find the new mounts extremely cool and want them, even if they cost real money. Others feel that the mummy wrappings look like toilet paper and wouldn’t touch the new mounts with a ten-foot pole.
The exact release date for WoW: Battle for Azeroth is known. When it kicks off and what Blizzard is doing differently this time will be revealed here.
When it comes to releasing expansions for World of Warcraft, we Europeans have almost always received special treatment. Due to the different time zones, we had earlier access to each expansion than American players. With Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard wants to change that. The launch is set to happen simultaneously worldwide.
What time does Battle for Azeroth start in Europe? Europeans don’t have to make any significant adjustments, as the release of Battle for Azeroth will once again be at midnight – that is, at 0:00 on August 14, 2018. This means that the launch of WoW’s seventh expansion will proceed just as we have been accustomed to in the past. In New York, for example, the launch will happen on August 13 at 6:00 PM – here the six-hour time difference comes into play.
Europe has often been a testing ground: In the past, the European launch of a WoW expansion has often been a kind of “test” to see if everything goes smoothly. Critical bottlenecks became apparent only during the release, where many players got stuck. With Warlords of Draenor, for instance, there was overcrowding at the Dark Portal, and no one was able to interact with the quest NPC Khadgar. A few hours later, during the launch in America, Blizzard simply placed multiple Khadgars around the world to disperse the players.
The fact that there will be a simultaneous global launch this time suggests that Blizzard is quite confident about avoiding such bottlenecks. By using phasing and sharding, where players are split into separate phases during high traffic, this could be avoided this time.
With the latest PTR patch for Overwatch on June 5, the moon colony Horizon has a new setup. Blizzard has opened a completely new room where hints about the next hero might be found.
Hints about Hammond: With the revision of the moon colony Horizon, the quarters of test subject 8 have been opened. Its inhabitant has been named Hammond by the test supervisors. Hammond is one of the gorillas that lived in the moon colony, but since the ape uprising on Horizon, there have been no reports of them.
The other gorilla is Winston, whose story and whereabouts are already known. Hammond could therefore still receive his own backstory.
Winston and Hammond have been unavailable since the uprising.
What speaks for Hammond as the next hero?
According to the new layout of the moon colony Horizon, the rooms of Winston and Hammond are right next to each other. One can assume that both escaped together during the uprising.
The quarters: Hammond’s on the right, Winston’s on the left.
A escape plan is in the room: Hammond’s room is wrecked, and some things are scattered on the floor or in his sleeping cell. However, two things stand out:
A blueprint outlining a escape plan from the moon to Earth with an escape pod and a rope
and a toy spaceship with a ball attached by a string.
The plan looks as if Winston wanted to take Hammond with him. However, since there was only room for one gorilla in the escape pod, Hammond could have traveled in an attached capsule to reach Earth. It is also possible that Hammond devised this plan himself, and Winston was unaware of it.
It’s time for a teaser: The last hero, Brigitte, was released on March 20. Following the rough schedule that Blizzard usually adheres to for releases, it would soon be time to tease the next hero again.
With the renovation of the moon colony Horizon, the opportunity has arisen. The fact that Hammond’s room was added, which has no significant impact on the game’s events, fuels the theories even more.
What do you think? Will Hammond be the next hero, or will Blizzard lead us astray again? Leave us a comment!
After the reveal of the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2, Bungie clarified again in the TWaB from June 7 regarding the content players can expect in Year 2 if they do not purchase the big fall addon. You will also get this without Forsaken.
After Bungie recently revealed Destiny 2: Forsaken and presented an updated roadmap with detailed plans through September 2018, many fans still had unanswered questions regarding the upcoming content and features. Many Guardians were unsure what to expect in Year 2 if they do not buy the fall addon.
In the “This Week at Bungie” blog (TWaB) from June 8, 2018, Game Director Chris Barrett spoke and clearly explained which content fans can expect in Year 2 if they skip purchasing the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2.
What all players get in Year 2 – Even without the Forsaken expansion
Even without the upcoming Forsaken addon, players will receive a lot during the second year of Destiny 2. Initially, all features listed on the current roadmap will be available to all fans – regardless of whether they own the Forsaken expansion or not.
Alongside the last changes for Year 1 in June 2018, which will also be available to all players as part of update 1.2.3, all Guardians can look forward to numerous new features after the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken and the start of Year 2.
All of this is available without Forsaken:
Gear collections
In-game triumphs
Changes to weapon slots
Random rolls for weapons
Update to the mod system
Mass deletion of shaders
A new Crucible mode
Four new Crucible maps
200 additional vault spaces (making a total of 500)
New bounties
In-game lore
Power level advantages are active in Iron Banner and Trials of the Nine.
Interesting: However, there is currently discussion about whether this point suggests that the new level caps will be reachable without Forsaken. It may also indicate that players should consider purchasing the expansion if they want to tackle these activities, as power level will soon be relevant in these activities. Because new levels and power are explicitly listed as features in Forsaken.
The seasons remain for everyone: In addition to these changes, Bungie will continue to support the seasons in Year 2, aimed at all players. Throughout each season, all fans can again look forward to new seasonal rewards, new Crucible maps and modes, “Quality of Life” improvements, recurring events, special activities, and much more.
Forsaken content and Annual Pass content only for buyers
The content of the Forsaken expansion and the Annual Pass content are explicitly reserved for buyers.
Forsaken owners will receive additionally from September 4:
New story with a dark atmosphere
New location: The Tangled Shore
New end-game location: The Dreaming City
New (power) level cap
New subclasses and supers
New PvEvP mode: Gambit
New raid in the Dreaming City
New rewards
New legendary and exotic gear
New triumphs
New lore
Furthermore, hardcore players with the Annual Pass are expected to receive even more opportunities to face enemies, collect loot, and customize their characters.
Buyers of the Annual Pass will receive in addition to the other content:
Three premium content releases: The premium DLCs Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra are expected to be released in winter 2018, spring 2019, and summer 2019 (by August 31, 2019).
The new Pokémon GO update 0.105.1 is available for download for iOS and Android. What changes for you?
Trainers report that the update 0.105.1 is now available for download in the app stores. Data miners have closely examined this version and found that sounds for the Catapult attack are now in the code. Surprisingly, they noted that there are currently no changes to the PokéStop submissions.
Update 0.105.1 APK – What the datamining says
The experts from PokémonGOHub have taken a close look at the new update and checked for changes in the code. Smack Down or Catapult is a new attack for Pokémon GO that is currently not yet released. Hints about it can be found in the game’s code.
In addition to the new sound file, there are not many changes in update 0.105.1. It is a minor update that brings bug fixes and avoids major changes.
The Catapult attack is slowly approaching release. When this will happen is unclear. However, many indications point to a release during the Pokémon GO Community Day in June with Larvitar.
Unfortunately, there are no updates regarding the PokéStop submissions that fans have been eagerly waiting for in the new update. The submissions are apparently meant to allow trainers to suggest locations for PokéStops or gyms. However, there have only been hints of this feature during datamining so far.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One), players have been trying to reach a specific location since the beginning of the game: the spawn island! Now they have finally succeeded!
What is the spawn island? Many Fortnite players have something in common with salmon. Like the delicious fish, they are constantly drawn back to the place of their birth. In the case of Fortnite, this is the spawn island, the zone where players wait before the match starts.
Why can’t one go back? The island is temptingly located outside the main island where all the action takes place. Players have long tried to get back there. Nothing helped; even those who built a huge bridge failed against an invisible wall.
Until now!
Crossing boundaries with a shopping cart!
This is how they succeeded: The daring streamer Lachlan never wanted to accept that he would never return to the spawn island in a match again. So he and his buddy tirelessly tried to find a way.
The plan of the crazy daredevils: To build a huge bridge, then create a kind of ramp and speed down it with a shopping cart. The guys wanted to overcome the invisible barrier to the island.
A logistical masterpiece
Deadly circumstances: The conditions under which the two streamers had to work were extremely tough. First, they had to collect enough materials for the structures. Then they needed to get a shopping cart. And the players also needed enough bandages, as they had to enter the deadly storm to leave the map.
Shopping cart overcomes the storm! After countless failed attempts, partly due to sheer clumsiness, the two players finally succeeded! They took the epic jump to the island. Suddenly, they were right in the storm raging over the map.
After many failures, finally success!
But the two explorers bravely continued and pushed their shopping cart further. And then, suddenly, the sky cleared up, and they actually landed on the spawn island!
There they died almost immediately, as the storm shredded their health points. They didn’t even have the chance for a victory dance. But at least the brave gamers could prove that it is possible to reach the spawn island in Fortnite alive!

Just now, the 100th State of the Game episode of The Division aired. Massive has some new information to share. Patch 1.8.2 is coming next week and will bring some changes. Here’s a summary.
Even Massive didn’t anticipate this: The 100th episode of the live stream of The Division, the State of the Game, just went live. They did not expect that there would actually be so many episodes. However, it is definitely going to continue in the future. In the State of the Game, the developers speak directly to the fans, present new updates, or respond to community suggestions.
With new equipment and visibly better image quality, Yannick, Hamish, and Peter immediately kicked off with some substantial news about the next patch.
Patch 1.8.2 is coming next week: When does the update arrive?
When exactly? The new update arrives on June 14th and comes with more supplies for agents.
What can we expect? In addition to new legendary missions, players can look forward to more new content. Returnees will be greeted with a so-called “Reactivation” container. This contains various helpful items that can ease agents into the game, from gear sets to Division tech.
Entry aid for returnees: The Reactivation containers
As a starting aid for returning agents, these containers include all kinds of helpful items. The requirement is a maximum level of 30. These containers will be available at the reward vendor from the release of the update for 3 weeks.
The contents of the Reactivation container:
3 complete, normal gear sets (4 pieces of the Striker, D3 FNC, and FireCrest sets)
Containers with high-end mods to fill your slots
A container with 5 weapon mods
Containers with random weapons (pistol, submachine gun, assault rifle, shotgun, and marksman rifle)
“Currency” container with 3 cypher keys, 2000 phoenix credits, and 500 div-tech.
The container is available for all players and can only be opened once per account.
Mark-VI containers with new outfits
New outfits for the premium vendor of The Division are back as well. In addition to the usual skins, there are 5 new outfits waiting for you.
The Legendary Missions
Players can look forward to the particularly large mission, the General Assembly. In this mission, the Division storms the UN headquarters to finally put an end to the Last Man Battalion.
The second mission is also the first mission in the main story of The Division: The Madison Field Hospital. In this mission, you must free the Madison Square Garden from looters.
At the same time, these will be the last missions to feature the legendary difficulty level.
Changes to some classified gear sets
There are also a few changes for a selection of classified sets. The path of the Nomad and the sign of the Predator were particularly viewed as being too strong in their classified version. Massive is subtly nerfing these.
Secret Nomad Set: The 50% cooldown of the 6-piece bonus is only active when you are playing solo.
Secret Predator Set: Support stations now also protect against the bleeding effect of the 6-piece bonus. Additionally, immunity to status effects from human players is no longer ignored. This can now be countered much better.
Restorer: Support stations destroy themselves when the set is unequipped. Also new: The support station with the highest healing rate is now prioritized.
Tactician: The built buff now remains active in elevators.
No new information on the Shield achievements – there will be updates at E3
But what about the Shields? We will have to wait until E3; they are saving the presentation for The Division 2. Here’s a reminder: The Ubisoft conference will take place on Monday, June 11th at 10 PM. You can find more info here.
More on 1.8.2:
Changes at the premium vendor: All gestures, skins, and outfits from the previous containers can now be purchased individually for real money. Don’t worry, the containers are still available.
The spawn problem in Last Stand has been fixed.
Landmark “The Opera” in DZ07: Enemies now spawn as intended.
The PxCs cap has been raised to 8000.
Patch notes will follow in the course of the next week.
Introduction of a cooldown during the individual aiming processes as a measure against the use of CronusMax and against rapid firing with shotguns.
For a further summary of all the information, you can find it here.
According to the roadmap for year 3, this will be the last patch for The Division. However, there may still be patches with further balance changes; they want to keep monitoring this. What else will come remains to be seen.
The next global events are on the horizon.
What do you think of the updates? Will you check back in Manhattan?
The new recognitions in Overwatch bring joy, but also criticism. This is what we think of Blizzard’s new system.
Overwatch had a very toxic community for a long time. Insults and hostility of all kinds were part of everyday life. Hardly a match passed without a “Your mother” joke, a sexist insult, or just some expletive flying through the chat – usually rather multiple ones. This is, of course, not a new phenomenon on the internet, but it’s no reason to accept it.
This is presumably also what Blizzard thought, as they initially imposed penalties and improved the reporting system. The frequency of penalties and their intensity increased over time.
Now Blizzard is fed up with investing resources in punishments and is taking the opposite approach: they reward exemplary players who are friendly, cooperative, and helpful.
The recognition system is supposed to ensure that these players are rewarded. At the end of a match, you can assign a “recognition” to a player of your choice. This increases the player’s recognition level, and there are rewards given at regular intervals for that.
“Conditions like in China!”
Some users on Reddit are comparing the recognition system to the social credit system being tested in some parts of China. Those who behave “positively” here, such as living virtuously, caring for their parents, or having few vices, earn more points and have an easier time finding a job. Those with few points face various sanctions or, for example, have a harder time finding a hotel for the night.
Here, users draw comparisons. With the new “Looking for Group” tool, you can specifically search for players who have reached a certain recognition level. Those who weren’t friendly enough and received recognition rarely will be denied access to these groups.
Players criticize that Blizzard is establishing a system that robs players of their freedom. They are being forced to behave and conduct themselves in a way that Blizzard desires.
Not Blizzard decides, but the players: In one respect, the comparison of the angry fans falls short. Blizzard does not take on the role of a ruler deciding what good and bad behavior is. That decision lies with the players. Only they can grant “recognition” to friendly players and thus highlight them.
Hypocritical friendliness – Better than none?
On Reddit, proponents of the system counter that all those who are complaining now are exactly the players who will not benefit from the system – because they behave toxically. Those who criticize such a system probably already suspect that they need to reconsider their behavior if they want to continue playing.
Most players seem to not care that many players will only feign their friendliness to gain recognition and thus receive additional rewards. If this ultimately leads to reading “Nice shot, well done!” instead of “Fuck you, idiot,” then the system fulfills its purpose. The atmosphere improves.
Will the system be exploited? For sure. Players will certainly make agreements along the lines of “You give me your recognition and I will give you mine,” but in the overall scheme, this will likely have little impact.
Conclusion: I look forward to the feature and hope it leads to a more positive gaming experience and a friendlier community in Overwatch. Because honestly, I don’t care if “Randoms” are genuinely friendly or just pretend to be – it doesn’t make a difference for a short-term gaming experience.

In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, the new “Team of the Week” is released every Wednesday. This has now come to an end for the time being; there will be no TOTW in FUT 18 for the next weeks.
Especially at the beginning of the FIFA season, the Team of the Week is a highlight every Wednesday at 19:00. When all top leagues are in action, the TOTW is often filled with strong cards.
On Wednesday, June 6th, EA Sports surprised the community by cancelling TOTW 38. Instead, new SBCs were introduced for the World Cup mode.
On EA’s Spanish YouTube channel, it was mentioned that the TDW will actually be on hold for several weeks.
The TOTW will be paused for the next weeks
In the video from June 6, the “EA SPORTS FIFA ESPAÑA” channel mentions the Team of the Week at one point.
It is stated in Spanish that the Team of the Week will be paused for a few weeks. The TOTW 37 was therefore the last for the time being.
With YouTube’s translation feature, you can roughly follow this statement. You can find the relevant part from second 0:55. Reddit user Tutenioo has translated this part:
Queria recordaos que el TOTW va a frenarse por unas semanas.
I wanted to remind you that the TOTW is going to stop for a few weeks.

Even though it can be inferred that the TDW will return in a few weeks, many players are likely to be disappointed.
Not everyone plays the World Cup mode; some stay with the regular Ultimate Team. Given the international matches, there could have been some good cards in TOTW 38. Many were hoping for a Third Inform of Josef Martinez, for example.
After the World Cup, when the TOTW presumably returns, there won’t be any major international matches for the time being. Moreover, most leagues would have halted their activities by then.
If the Team of the Week returns, it will rather be a “Team of the Weak,” as the community often jokingly calls it.
Instead of TOTW 38, the first National World Cup SBCs were introduced. In this, you exchange a team from a nation for the best player of that country, for Colombia, for example, James Rodriguez.
In the first batch, EA released four National SBCs. It is likely that there will be one for each country. It’s quite possible that four more will be released every Wednesday. However, since the last SBCs would presumably be presented only after the World Cup, EA will probably introduce new National SBCs twice a week instead.
But what replaces the TOTW in regular FUT? With the “Path to Glory” selection cards, there are still dynamic items for the World Cup. Thus, special cards should also be released during the World Cup. One option could be to introduce a special team after each World Cup match day instead of the Team of the Week.
For example: On June 19, every group would have finished their first match day, so EA could release a “Team of the 1st World Cup match day” in packs on June 20. Then on June 25, the “Team of the 2nd World Cup match day” could be released.
However, this is all speculation. What is certain is that there will be upgrades for the PTG cards during the World Cup, and there will be no regular Team of the Week for the next weeks.
Today, on June 7, the Water Festival starts in Pokémon GO. Included are a well-known raid boss, new shinies, more candies, and more stardust.
On the evening of June 7, 2018, the Water Festival starts in Pokémon GO. Trainers will be rewarded by Niantic with more spawns of water Pokémon. Additionally, shiny Shellder is making its way to Pokémon GO. We summarize all other bonuses for you here.
Water Event 2018 in June with Wailmer, Shellder
When does the event start? On June 7, 2018, at 10:00 PM German time When does the event end? On June 21, 2018, presumably at 10:00 PM. Which monsters spawn more frequently? Niantic explains in the description that water Pokémon such as Magikarp or Wailmer will appear more frequently in the wild. Additionally, Niantic emphasizes that there is a chance to catch a shiny Shellder.
Shiny Shellder
In addition, new field research on water is available to trainers until June 21.
More candies and stardust: If you catch water Pokémon during the event, you will receive three times the amount of stardust. Because there will be an extraordinary number of water monsters in the wild during the event, you should be able to stock up well.
Water monsters from 2KM eggs: You can find water-themed monsters not only more frequently in the wild. They also appear more frequently from 2KM eggs. The developers point out that monsters such as Croagunk, Piplup, or Krabby can hatch from them during the event.
You will also receive double the candies and double the stardust for each egg that hatches.
Kyogre is back!
A surprise for many trainers: The legendary Pokémon Kyogre returns as a raid boss during the event to the gyms. And it even comes in shiny form!
Shiny form of Kyogre
Now trainers hope that the catch chance is as high as with other shiny bosses so that they can definitely add one of these specimens to their collection. This will become clear in the next hours.
