The new patch 6.22 for Fortnite: Battle Royale brings a new weapon, a new game mode, and new stories for Save the World.
Today, on November 6, 2018, patch 6.22 went live on the Fortnite servers. It introduced the Heavy Assault Rifle as a new weapon. Additionally, there are now the modes “Quick Blitz” and the completely new mode “Team Fright.” Meanwhile, the Halloween story continues in the PvE mode.
Monsters spawn all over the map. As the storm approaches, more spawns occur.
The monsters often drop special items and ammunition
You collect 75 percent more resources
There is 15 percent more loot on the ground and three times as much ammunition
Chests and supply drops contain double the amount of ammunition and consumables
“Quick Blitz” is back: In this familiar mode, everything happens faster, the storm starts right at the beginning of the game, and there is a lot more loot. After about 15 minutes, everything is over.
Treasure chests appear with an 80-90 percent chance, while ammunition crates have a chance of 85-95 percent.
Supply drops occur more frequently and fall faster from the sky
There are no shopping carts to be found
Heavy Assault Rifle: This new weapon is now available in the game. It has the following stats:
Rarity: Uncommon, Epic, and Legendary
Spawn Locations: Ground, treasure chests, vending machines, and supply drops
Damage: 44/46/48
Fire Rate: 3.75
Ammunition: 25
This new weapon deals over 10 points more damage than a regular assault rifle!
Other changes:
Balloons now spawn with only a 2.3 percent chance instead of 12.2
The rocket launcher no longer has a pumpkin head
The maximum storm damage decreases from 10 to 8 points
The highlights of update 6.22 in Save the World
Part 2 of Halloween: You can now complete the story of Hexylvania in “Save the World” with new missions.
New Mythic Ninja “Nightmare Werewolf”: This new ninja hero will be available in the shop starting November 7, 2018. He is faster and more effective at night.
New Legendary Explorer “Ashen Darkness”: This hero can drain enemies’ life with the skill Phase Shift.
The Candy Corn LMG is now available as a quest reward from Fortnite: Nightmares Part 2. This heavy weapon with a large magazine shoots candies. This ensures that healing candy is dropped.
What is happening in Manhattan? As has been the case for the past few months, developer Massive has published its roadmap for November in The Division and The Division 2. Among other things, you can expect a new Shield and another Global Event.
While many continue to wait for any new information about The Division 2, some players from The Division 1 are still roaming New York.
There are still veterans and newcomers hunting for loot there. If you belong to that group, the plan for November might interest you. Here’s what is happening this month in The Division.
New Shield “Fang” sends you on legendary missions
What are Shields? These are in-game achievements that can unlock rewards for The Division 1 and 2. There are a total of 12 Shields, with a new one appearing every month until the release of The Division 2.
This is the new Shield “Fang”: Your task is to complete all missions on the legendary difficulty level. The Shield starts on November 8.
But I’ve already completed all on Legendary, do I have to play them again? This Shield is not retroactive. Even if you have already completed all missions on Legendary, you will have to play them again.
Global Event Onslaught makes enemies suffer with status effects
The next Global Event will be a repeat of Onslaught. The event revolves around bleeding, shock, and fire damage.
What are Global Events? These are events that run for a week and turn different gameplay elements upside down during that time. While they are active, GE-Credits can be earned, which can be used to purchase special containers.
In these, you will find coveted parts of the Classified sets. Each event has a specific selection of these sets. Additionally, there are special masks for each event.
When does the Global Event start? The Onslaught begins on November 19 at 9 a.m. and runs until November 28 at 9 a.m.
These are the modifiers for the Global Event Onslaught:
Onslaught (Always active): In addition to your damage, you cause “On Fire”, “Bleeding Wound”, and “Disoriented” effects, which you can change by reloading.
Savage Onslaught (In addition to Onslaught): Certain effect types deal more damage to your enemies while they are resistant to others. Resistant enemies deal more damage.
Brutal Onslaught (In addition to Onslaught and Wild Onslaught): If your teammates kill an enemy within 2 seconds, you receive a damage bonus on your next reload, marked by a skull.
These are the secret gear sets of the Global Event:
As always, there is a specific selection of missions where you will receive bonus credits.
These are the GE missions:
Broadway Emporium
Russian Consulate
WarrenGate Power Plant
Police Academy
Stolen Signal
What else is coming in November?
Between the larger events, there are always some smaller extra events that usually bring more loot. This will also be the case in November.
This is in addition to Shield, Global Event, and Dev Blog:
Double XP event from November 16 to 18
Double supply crates from November 30 to 31
Both events start at 9 a.m. and end at 9 a.m. as well.
New information about The Division 2
Since September, Massive has been publishing a Dev Blog entry about The Division 2 every month. These entries delve into the content and provide new information.
When will the next entry be published and what will it be about? The next entry will be published on November 29, and what it will be about is still unknown.
Are you roaming in Manhattan? Or are you waiting for The Division 2?
Fortnite: Battle Royale regularly offers special Starter Packs. These include a skin, accessories, and V-Bucks at a bargain price. The 4th of these packs is now on the agenda.
What is the 4th Starter Pack about? After you already received the Halo Skin, the pilot, and most recently the Thief from Payday/Money Heist, the “Summit Striker” is now available.
What does the skin look like? The Summit Striker is a masked skin with a hoodie and a kind of mountaineer’s outfit. Its colors are in white and orange. As usual, it comes with a backpack on the back.
What else is included? In addition to the skin and the backpack (which you can also use for other skins), you get 600 V-Bucks extra.
How much does the package cost? In total, you will likely need to pay 4.99 euros for the whole package. That alone is already less than what the 600 V-Bucks are worth, which is about 6 euros.
When does the new package come? According to a leak from Korea, package number 4 is supposed to be released on November 8, 2018. It might come on November 7, 2018, due to time changes. The end of the promotion should be December 19, 2018.
Bargain or Lure Offer?
Is the deal worth it? Since the Starter Pack is so cheap, you can’t go wrong with it. Those who like to buy and collect skins often should be pleased with the offer. However, Epic is not doing all of this out of pure friendliness. The Starter Packs are primarily intended to reach players who have previously hesitated to spend real money.
New customers sought: It has been proven that players who spend money in a game once have much less hesitation to reach for their virtual wallets again, especially when a cool skin appears in the regular shop. Even if the prices in the shop are much higher than the bargains in the Starter Packs.
The developers of the MMORPG AIR: Ascent Infinite Realm have talked about housing. This apparently works on a “first come, first serve” principle.
Are you interested in housing in an MMORPG and plan to play AIR? Then you should hurry at the launch of the online game, as the houses seem to be available only in limited numbers.
The floating island Morning Sun is home to people.
Housing with limited houses
How does housing work in AIR? Many players love to have a retreat where they can store unneeded equipment and meet with friends. Moreover, it’s fun to furnish a house according to one’s own ideas.
The MMORPG AIR: Ascent Infinite Realm also offers housing.
The region Harth in the game world serves as a “housing region”.
You will find vacant houses that you can claim for yourself, although it costs money.
Harth is close to the hunting zones of the game world, so you can easily hunt and quickly bring your loot to your house.
Each house can be customized and decorated individually.
After the air battles, you can rest in your house.
You can invite other players to your house for parties.
You need to hurry when choosing houses: The fact that empty houses are already available indicates that there are not unlimited housing possibilities.
To get one of the houses, you should quickly gather the necessary gold and take possession of the house.
It is unclear whether you can lose houses if, for example, you do not visit them for a long time.
The limited number of houses is likely to make them highly sought after.
It is unclear where players who do not get a house will store their equipment.
The housing zone Harth turns into a small village.
A controversial system
This is how players react: Players’ opinions are divided. Limited housing also leads to divided opinions among players in other MMOs. Some think it’s good that not everyone can have a house, while others would like enough space so that truly everyone can have a residence.
partiesplayin comments on MassivelyOP: “Great. I’m sure the developers will ensure enough space.”.
Toy Clown, on the other hand, explains: “I’m not a fan of non-instanced housing. Such a system is always very hard on players who are not as flexible.”.
How exactly housing will work will be revealed during the beta of AIR, which will not start until next year.

On Community Day in November in Pokémon GO, Cyndaquil’s evolution Typhlosion can learn the exclusive move Flame Charge.
Already next weekend, on November 10, the Community Day in Pokémon GO will take place. This time it’s all about the fire starter Cyndaquil. Niantic has now announced that the exclusive move during Community Day will be Flame Charge.
The move can be learned by Typhlosion, the evolution of Cyndaquil, during the Community Day.
Typhlosion learns Flame Charge in Pokémon GO
In a few days, the Community Day starts, and as always, Niantic revealed the special move only shortly before the start.

How strong will Typhlosion become? Just like Charizard became significantly stronger with Flame Charge, many players are now wondering if Typhlosion will also become stronger. It is expected that while Typhlosion will improve, it still won’t be able to compete with the top fire attackers.
Poor Fast Move: Typhlosion won’t get much stronger as it can only learn a weak fast move. The move Ember that Typhlosion has is far weaker than Charizard’s Fire Spin. Therefore, Typhlosion will likely not play a major role among the fire attackers.
This is what the community says: The community is not surprised by the new move of Typhlosion. In September, Meganium already learned Flora Statue, the same move that Venusaur could learn before. It was expected that Typhlosion could learn the same move as Charizard.
Additionally, Typhlosion with the new move is not a true monster but more of a collector’s item. Therefore, at least evolve a Quilava to Typhlosion so it can master Flame Charge. This definitely makes it stronger than the Typhlosion with normal moves.
When does the Community Day start? The Community Day runs on November 10 from 11 AM to 2 PM as usual. During this time, Cyndaquil will appear more frequently.
What bonuses are there? In November, players can look forward to two bonuses. There will be double XP for catching Pokémon and also double Stardust for every catch.
Shiny Cyndaquil: As always, there will probably also be a shiny version of the Community Day Pokémon in November. Although it is not confirmed, there have been shiny versions of the special Pokémon to catch at every Community Day event so far.
The developers have announced some changes that will be made in WoW Classic. Loot will be tradeable, just like in the live version.
At BlizzCon 2018, it was not only about Battle for Azeroth and the Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, but also about World of Warcraft: Classic. In a nearly 45-minute panel, the developers talked about the problems and difficulties they encountered while restoring the classic version of World of Warcraft.
They also spoke about changes that will not be like in the “Original Classic” from 12 years ago. We will reveal to you what will change.
Changes between the original “Classic” and the “new Classic”
Loot will be tradeable: In the current version of World of Warcraft, players can trade their looted items with other players who were also present during the boss kill. This function will be implemented in “Classic” for a simple reason: to save the time and nerves of players and the support team.
In Classic, players had to write a ticket to a GameMaster for “misallocated loot” and ask for their loot to be assigned to another player. That could take four or five days.
Because the end result is the same – Player B receives an item that Player A accidentally got – the developers will adopt this system.
Interface improvements will remain: Also, some improvements to the interface will not be “rolled back to Classic”. For example, Hazzikostas mentioned opening mail in the mailbox. Nowadays, with a shift-click, you can directly take the attachment from the letter without having to click on it individually first.
Such small details that simply provide a better interface will be taken from the current version and will not be “artificially worsened”.
Many things will remain unchanged: Other aspects of the game will remain unchanged compared to back then, mainly everything that could affect balance. For example, opponents will only have 16 debuff slots – a problem for warlocks and anyone else who applies debuffs to opponents back then.
Energy regeneration for rogues also comes in “bursts” and not like today in small units per fraction of a second – here the developers remain true to the original.
Addons are still a big issue: The developers are still unclear about which addons they want to allow. Back then in Classic, addons could do much more than today. There were addons that could execute the entire spell rotation of a character, including automatic interrupt and target changes, with just a single key press.
Such addons were “against the spirit of World of Warcraft then and now” and will probably not be usable anymore.
Do you find these small changes acceptable? Or should Blizzard recreate everything exactly – including a necessary ticket to support if the looter makes a mistake?

The new update 6.22 brings a new item to Fortnite: Battle Royale today, Tuesday, November 6th. The servers across all platforms (PC/Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android) will go offline. A patch must be downloaded.
Live event has demolished the cube: On Sunday evening, all players who logged in at the right time were able to witness a great performance in Fortnite: Battle Royale. The cube now says goodbye for good and has once again scrambled the dimensions.
No one knows how the story will continue, but perhaps Epic will provide new hints today about what could happen next. One thing is for sure: Battle Royale players can look forward to a new weapon!
Fortnite servers go offline – When will they be back online?
When does the server downtime start? Last week, the server downtime was already an hour earlier due to the time change. This week, everything is back to normal, as Americans also made the switch in the meantime.
Matchmaking will therefore be disabled as usual at 9:30 AM, and the servers will be unreachable from 10:00 AM German time.

When will the servers be back up?Also this week, we can expect just a small update with version number 6.22, so the maintenance work shouldn’t take too long. You should be able to log back in around noon.
As soon as the servers are back online, you will find out here on MeinMMO. Here you can also find the patch notes, which are always published on time at the start of the downtime.
These are the contents for the Battle Royale mode: After Epic removed three weapons from the game in the last patch, a new heavy assault rifle is on the way. The weapon, modeled after the AK-47 or Kalashnikov, is expected to deal massive damage but will likely be difficult to control.
Whether the new rifle will really be an addition to the arsenal can only be assessed after the patch. Furthermore, we might see the new NFL skins come today, which Epic recently announced.
This is what players of Save the World can expect from the update: PvE players can look forward to the second part of Fortnitemares, as Epic revealed on Reddit. The developer also announced that they will provide special roadmaps again in the future, so players have an idea of how Fortnite will evolve in the future.
Are you excited about the update and the Kalashnikov?
Update 10:06 AM: The patch notes are here. We present the most important information in English:
Actually, Blizzard wanted to talk about Diablo 4 at BlizzCon. According to insiders, this plan was scrapped at the last minute.
The BlizzCon 2018 will likely be long remembered by fans and developers of Blizzard, as it was the first home fair of Blizzard where developers were booed loudly during their presentation. Diablo fans had been expecting a new game to play on their PC, but got “only” Diablo Immortal.
Where does the information come from? The source for these statements is the magazine Kotaku, which relies on “two internal informants.” Kotaku is known for having a good connection to insiders, which is why the source is generally considered credible.
What exactly was said? According to the two insiders, Blizzard planned at BlizzCon to first present Diablo Immortal as scheduled, and then reveal through Allen Adham (a co-founder of Blizzard) that a proper Diablo 4 was also in development. However, the Diablo team was not yet ready to make the announcement, which is why it was canceled at the last moment.
Why did Blizzard retract the announcement? Why Blizzard ultimately decided against announcing Diablo 4 can only be speculated now. It’s likely that the game is simply not in a state where the developers would say it is “guaranteed to release.” After all, Blizzard is known to cancel games if they do not meet their own standards.
So Diablo 4 is said to have already had two different heads, each with different visions for the game. Furthermore, the game has reportedly been in development for over four years. It is quite possible that they still do not have satisfactory, showcase-worthy material. Whether the title will actually be released is also still uncertain.
Exactly the wrong decision: In retrospect, it can probably be said that Blizzard made a clear mistake with this change. The hate and displeasure directed at the developers over Diablo Immortal would likely have been significantly less if they had promised fans a “real” Diablo. As it stands, the “Core Gamers” feel neglected, who have remained loyal to Blizzard on PC for years.
Blizzard contradicts the report
Update 9:20 AM:
This is what Blizzard says: Blizzard has contacted the US site. Although they usually never comment on speculation and rumors, they state in a statement that they have neither retracted an announcement from BlizzCon nor are any further announcements planned. Blizzard emphasizes that they have multiple teams working on several Diablo projects.
Kotaku has since changed the story. They continue to insist that a video was made in which Allen Adham talks about Diablo 4, but are no longer certain that it was definitively planned for BlizzCon.
Do you think the BlizzCon would have gone better if Diablo 4 had at least been mentioned in passing? Or can nothing dampen the “Diablo Mobile” disaster?
At BlizzCon 2018, the new hero from Overwatch was officially announced. Ashe is now playable on the Overwatch PTR.
Ashe, the Western Outlaw: Ashe was introduced with the new cinematic “Old Friends” at BlizzCon. Since Monday, November 5th at around 9:20 PM, she is also playable on the PTR.
Ashe is an old acquaintance of the hero McCree and the leader of the notorious Deadlock Gang. Who exactly Ashe is and what she can do, you can find out in our article.

New hero and UI overhaul: Along with Ashe, a new patch was released on the Overwatch PTR. This patch brought only one change to the UI with the new hero Ashe. The “Unlock All” option in the hero gallery has been disabled.
The Skins of Ashe: Ashe also receives several skins. Currently, she has four rare, two epic, and two legendary skins. Here’s what they look like:
The rare skins are as usual just different colors of Ashe’s standard appearance.
The epic skins of Ashe have a bit more detail. The logo on Bob’s back and on Ashe’s Viper change.
The legendary skins Gangster and Mafia turn Ashe into a real mafia lady in a pantsuit.
Jungle and Safari make Ashe an adventurer with a ranger hat and jungle rifle.
When will Ashe come to the Live Servers? Typically, such tests take a few weeks. In the last BlizzCon announcement of a hero, Moira, she was playable 10 days after her PTR release.
So Ashe could make it to the Live Servers in roughly 2 weeks. We suspect Tuesday, November 13th or 20th as the release date.

In Pokémon GO two new shinies will soon be available to catch: Shiny Tragosso and Shiny Ponita are on their way to you.
The two shiny forms will be released alongside “Ingress Prime”, another game from Niantic. Ingress Prime is a spin-off of the Ingress game, which was released by Niantic before Pokémon GO. So far, Ingress has been known among Pokémon players for having portals that became PokéStops in Pokémon GO.
In a statement, Niantic explained that this release is also significant for Pokémon GO. There will be a small event to celebrate the release of Ingress Prime.
Shiny Ponita and Shiny Tragosso in Pokémon GO
The new shiny Pokémon Ponita and Tragosso will soon be available to catch worldwide along with their evolutions.
This is what distinguishes the shiny forms: Ponita and Galoppa will have a blue fire tail in their shiny form. Tragosso and Knogga will have a green body in their shiny form.
That’s why the new shinies fit: Tragosso and Ponita were chosen as perfect Pokémon for the release. Their shiny versions are green and blue, matching the team colors that can be chosen in Ingress Prime.
New clothing items: In addition to the new shiny Pokémon, there will also be new clothing items available in the shop. The clothing is supposed to be free for every player. It is also themed around Ingress Prime to support the game, according to Niantic.
When will the new shinies come? A date for the event featuring the shiny Pokémon is not yet known. However, it can be assumed that the event will start soon, as Ingress Prime has already been released.
Update: November 5, 10:20 PM – Trainers report that the shinies are now activated, and the spawns of Ponita and Tragosso have increased.
Shiny Alolan Knogga: This is the first time a shiny Alolan Pokémon can be caught. Players have the chance to get a shiny Alolan Knogga in Level 4 raids.
It is not known whether there are additional bonuses besides the shiny Pokémon.

Fortnite: Battle Royale has apparently made a deal with the US football organization NFL. Therefore, a bunch of football jerseys for your characters will be available soon.
Fortnite meets NFL: Fortnite is known for offering skins for famous sporting events. Therefore, there have already been outfits for the Winter Olympics and for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Now it’s American football’s turn.
Epic has teamed up with the football organization NFL and will soon be releasing a series of skins featuring football jerseys.
What will the skins look like? As with previous sports skins, there will be various archetypes, including female and male skins with different hair and skin colors. The skins will then be customizable.
According to Epic, you will be able to choose from each of the 32 official NFL teams for each skin, as well as numbers 0-99. There is also supposed to be an additional 33rd team related to Fortnite to choose from. This means you will have basically 33 different skins in one outfit.
When will the skins be available? On November 10 at 01:00 AM, the skins will be available in the shop.
What will the skins cost? Epic has not commented on the price so far, but if we take the football skins as a basis, they are likely to be offered as rare skins for 1,200 V-Bucks. That would be 12 Euros per skin.
However, the skins may also be epic, as was the case with the Olympic skins, in which case approximately 15 Euros would be required for each outfit.
The Austrian YouTuber Andy Edition is facing the deletion of his channel about Destiny 2 by YouTube. He believes he sees the culprit in the USA and not among German competitors. To prove his innocence, he shows the videos that received strikes.
This is the backstory: The YouTuber Andy Edition has painstakingly made a name for himself with videos on the story and lore of Destiny 2. Now in September, with Forsaken, success came.
The channel grew. The YouTuber himself was invited to be the Community Focus of Bungie, a global showcase for content creators.
The YouTuber, however, asserts his innocence and cannot explain which guidelines he supposedly violated.
This is the current status: Andy’s channel cannot currently be filled with new videos. There is an active ban. If a third video receives a strike, his channel is threatened with deletion.
This is what fans suspect: Among fans, a search for the “culprit” has erupted.
German-speaking players think it might have been envious competitors. This leads to suspicions and brings a bad mood to the community. Old rivalries and biases are surfacing.
I am quite sure that it wasn’t anyone from the German community
This is what Andy Edition says: He reached out to his fans in a live stream. There he explicitly rules out for himself that it could be a German-speaking competitor.
Andy says he has collaborated with many, speaks to many daily, and gets along well with them. It is impossible that someone reported him.

Andy believes the reports are coming from the USA. There, people from the English-speaking community might be upset that a German-speaking YouTuber with only 30,000 subscribers has made it to the community focus of Bungie – while large YouTubers with 300,000 or 400,000 subscribers have not.
Therefore, he might have been reported by several people.
Andy Edition still cannot explain how exactly his videos violated community guidelines.
In a live stream, he showed the videos so that everyone could see that everything seems to be in order with them.
This is how it will continue: For the moment, Andy Edition has moved to Facebook and writes there in longer postings what he would otherwise have packed into lore videos. He seems to have no choice but to wait until the ban expires or something else happens.
The beta of Fallout 76 shows you the cash shop for the first time. This allows you to grab quirky items using Atom currency, which you can either earn in-game or buy for real money. These are the offers of the Atomic Shop.
It has been clear since the announcement that microtransactions would be included in Fallout 76. With the approaching beta, more and more information has come to light. Now there is full insight into the cash shop.
This is the premium currency of Fallout 76: We have known that there will be a currency that can be obtained for real money or in-game. This is called “Atoms”. In the beta, you can now take a look at the first offers.
Atomic Shop offers pajamas and pink hats
The contents of the Atomic Shop are primarily cosmetic in nature. There are outfits, skins for your Pip-Boy and for the parts of your camp.
What categories are there? Currently (by the end of the beta on November 5) there are:
Outfits,
Skins,
Skins for your C.A.M.P.,
Styles (hairstyles, tattoos, etc.),
Gimmicks for the photo mode,
Emotes
and icons
It is not yet known how often the offers will change. Currently, for example, there is a red striped pajama, an anchor tattoo, and a blue Pip-Boy skin.
How much do the items in the Atomic Shop cost? The price range varies. Icons cost, for example, 50 Atoms, while outfit prices range from 400 to 600 Atoms. The Vault 76 cap alone costs 500 Atoms.
Atomic Shop is not celebrated, but not condemned either
How do players find the cash shop? Most can live with the existence of the Atomic Shop. In the Fallout 76 subreddit, most users are rather laid-back. The user Tyr_The_Wanderer finds the cash shop “reasonable”. There are offers he likes and others that do not interest him much.
The user DarkOpz finds the discussions about real money shops exaggerated:
If you deliver constant DLC and update supply for years, and that for free, cosmetic microtransactions are fine. Especially since they can also be unlocked.
In the Bethesda forum, however, not everyone is thrilled about the prices. One user finds, for example: “After 12 hours of playing, I have 690 Atoms … enough for one pajama. I knew the items would be expensive, but 600 Atoms for underwear?”
Most players agree, though: as long as it stays with cosmetic items, the Atomic Shop is fine. A big question mark remains the real money price of the Atom currency. We will probably only find out at the release of Fallout 76.

Practice Makes Perfect
For this challenge, you need to hit a practice target from a distance of 90 meters at the firing range.
Here you will find the firing range
The long firing range in the north of the range is suitable for this. The weapon does not matter. You can solve this challenge with a pistol just as well as with a sniper including a scope.
This firing lane is perfect for the challenge
Take a few shots at a target of your choice. If it spins, you have hit it, and the challenge should be complete. According to player reports, it is not necessary to hit the bullseye. However, to be completely sure, you should still aim as centrally as possible.
Zombie Jam
For this challenge, you need to activate the jukebox in the diner.
Here you will find the diner
Once you arrive at this fast-food restaurant, you just need to go inside and interact with the unmistakable jukebox.
This is the jukebox you need to start
Once you have done that, music will play, and you have successfully completed the challenge.
Red Light, Green Light
This challenge requires you to be the first to find and loot a supply crate in the Cargo Docks area, which can spawn at one of three possible positions.
You can find the buoys under which the crate can spawn at these 3 positions
The crate is underwater and appears beneath one of the 3 buoys that float in the water at the Cargo Docks. Once you have found it, you only need to loot it. The content of the crate is not important.
This is what the crate looks like
For this challenge, you just need to be quick. Otherwise, it can be completed relatively quickly.
Open The Blast Doors
In this challenge, you need to open the protective gates at the Fracking Tower.
Here you will find the building with the switch
Once you arrive in the area, you need to go to the building in the middle of the industrial site with the distinctive tower numbered 58.
You need to go into this building
Once you are inside, you just need to activate the unmistakable switch. This will open the protective doors in the facility’s floor.
The switch with a view of the blast doors in the floor
You can also open the room in the underground part of the facility, but if you go through the control room of the tower, you can hardly miss the switch.
Back in the Ground
This challenge requires you to kill 100 zombies in Blackout. You can find most of them in the Asylum area.
You will frequently encounter zombies at these locations
You do not have to get all the kills in one match. As soon as you have taken down a total of 100 undead, the challenge is complete.
Stay Tuned
Here you need to activate the emergency radio transmission at the antenna in the Array area.
Here you will find the corresponding radio setup
To do this, you must go to the central building with the radar dish and visit the control room there.
You need to go into this building
You will recognize the control room by the numerous control consoles located there.
The console with the green light is the correct one
Now search for a console with an unmistakable green light. Interact with this control unit, and you activate the emergency transmission. The challenge is done.
Respect Your Elders
Here you must pay your respects to Tanbor Fudgely.
This small village is your destination
Head to the small village by the bridge connecting the areas Fracking Tower and Turbine. There you will find a monument.
Look for this monument
Once you have found it, stand on the last stone slab in front of this monument and interact with it.
This is how you pay your respects
Your character should bow in front of the portrait plate on the monument, and the challenge is complete.
Baller
For this challenge, you must demonstrate your basketball skills.
Here you will find a basketball hoop including ball
To do this, find a basketball hoop and a ball. Interact with the ball and pick it up. With the next button press, you can throw it. As soon as you succeed in scoring, you have also mastered this challenge.
Fist Fighter
The last Dark Ops Challenge is also the hardest. Because you must defeat an enemy with your bare fists.
With fists, you hardly deal any damage. So you need to be quick and catch someone who hasn’t picked up a weapon or armor yet. Otherwise, you basically have no chance.
By the way: it doesn’t count in team modes to down someone with firearms and then finish them off with fists. The game demands a clean fistfight here.
In this video by PrestigeIsKey, you can take a detailed look at the challenges again:

Without the internet, nothing works in the announced mobile game Diablo Immortal. As game designer Wyatt Cheng explains, the game requires a connection to the internet.
Diablo Immortal is an online game where interacting with other players is important. Therefore, it will not be possible to play offline.
No Offline Mode in the New Diablo
Diablo Immortal requires an internet connection: It shouldn’t be a surprise since most mobile games require an internet connection to play, and Diablo Immortal is an online game focused on multiplayer. Nevertheless, Blizzard’s game designer Wyatt Cheng confirmed that you cannot play the action RPG offline.
You are navigating in an online world where many other players are present
Interaction among players is important
You experience adventures together
Diablo fans are accustomed to the internet requirement since Diablo 3. Here, too, an internet connection is necessary to play.
How Players React: It is currently difficult to find neutral opinions, as the mood among fans is still very charged. After all, the announcement of Diablo Immortal as a mobile game at Blizzcon did not go down well.
However, amidst all the outcries about the game, there is also a sense that many see it as completely normal for a mobile game – and specifically a multiplayer game – to require an internet connection.
For instance, a fan wrote on VG247: “This is quite normal for mobile games. No big deal.”

Always-On Can Cause Problems: However, a mandatory internet connection, especially for a mobile game, can lead to issues.
A dead zone can lead to connection drops
A poor mobile data connection can cause lags
Widespread, stable internet via mobile is important to play anywhere – which is still not available in places like Germany
Especially in an action RPG where reaction is crucial, a poor internet connection can lead to frustration. The developers are aware of this. Designer Wyatt Cheng explained in an interview with Inven that he is not sure if a mobile platform can offer a hardcore mode, which has always been part of Diablo.
The team will have to think further about how to handle network issues and a hardcore mode, according to Cheng.
Will Diablo Immortal be a Free2Play Game? Blizzard is currently still tight-lipped about the monetization of Diablo Immortal. Players suspect that it will be released as a free-to-play title and therefore fear pay-to-win elements.
Regarding this, designer Wyatt Cheng stated in an interview with Inven: “It is hard to say how we will approach this problem from a business perspective, but past Blizzard games are a good reference for this.”
Blizzard Has Not Forgotten the Core Fans of Diablo: The announcement of Diablo Immortal as a mobile game elicited a lot of criticism from fans. However, Blizzard wants the community to know that they have not forgotten the core players.
Blizzard’s Allen Adham stated in an interview with Digital Trends: “I can tell you, we haven’t forgotten you. We will have more news in the future. We are hardcore fans of Diablo on PC and consoles. Diablo is an important brand at Blizzard, and we continue to work on many things surrounding Diablo.”

The developer Riot Games has released a new video for their MOBA game League of Legends, modeled after typical Korean pop videos.
What is the video for? To promote a new series of K/DA skins, the developer has released a new video featuring the champions Ahri, Evelynn, Kai’Sa, and Akali dancing to fat K-Pop beats. Riot has hired the French company Fortiche to create the highly elaborate video.
What are K/DA skins? The K-Pop outfits of the four LoL champions actually have some lore entries as well. In an alternate universe, the four champion girls have managed to make it big with their K-Pop band K/DA. Their music has taken Korea by storm, and now the divas hope that their world tour will be a success.
In League of Legends, not only characters become pop stars:
The Dead Eye system is also back in Red Dead Redemption 2. How it works and how it has evolved is explained to you in Charles’ latest video.
Dead Eye is an important component in the Red Dead games and this system is also present in RDR 2. Dead Eye allows you to slow down time in critical situations and take out your enemies one by one with well-placed shots. Everything you need to know about this feature has now been compiled by Charles in a new video.
Dead Eye evolves in the story
One of the most important aspects of Dead Eye is that it evolves during the main story. The further you progress in the plot, the more helpful the feature becomes.
Rank 1: Unlocked in Chapter 1 during the quest “Old Friends”. Dead Eye automatically marks targets when you move the crosshair over them.
Rank 2: Unlocked in Chapter 2 during the quest “Spilling Oil”. This rank allows multiple targets to be marked with RB on Xbox One and R1 on PlayStation 4.
Rank 3: Unlocked in Chapter 4 during the quest “Banking, the Old American Art Form”. Dead Eye remains active while you fire your weapon without marking a target.
Rank 4: Unlocked in Chapter 5 during the quest “Transitory Joy”. Dead Eye can now display weak points for critical hits on your enemies, such as the heart and head. This is particularly useful for one-shot kills while hunting.
Rank 5: Unlocked in Chapter 6 during the quest “Goodbye, Dear Friend”. Dead Eye can now show weak points for critical hits on your enemies, such as the lung or abdomen. This way you may not be able to stop large animals with a single hit while hunting, but you can slow them down enough to track them effectively.
Various tonics or a good night’s sleep recharge your Dead Eye. You can find out more about this and the challenges you can undertake to further improve the feature in the video.
How far have you progressed with your Dead Eye? Which rank do you like the most?
Overwatch received its 29th hero, Ashe, at BlizzCon 2018. Overwatch head Jeff Kaplan has confirmed in an interview that even the next six heroes are already planned.
Heroes for several years: In an interview with Eurogamer, Jeff Kaplan talked about the upcoming heroes in Overwatch. Six more are already in planning, which means “years” (of content) for Overwatch.
Which new heroes are coming?
We already know one hero: In the new cinematic “Old Friends”, the hero McCree meets three characters who have already been named:
Echo has now been confirmed as one of the next heroes. According to Kaplan, the android was among the first heroes ever planned and is even found in the first concept drawings. However, many fans still thought she was Winston’s AI, Athena.
What was originally thought to be Athena is now revealed to be Echo.
Who else could come? During the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2018, where the new cinematic for Overwatch was also shown, Kaplan mentioned several characters. The video also features nameless bandits from the Deadlock Gang. Kaplan specifically addressed a masked trio and one of the snipers.
Of course, this was mainly for show and to announce Ashe. At Blizzard, such less subtle and very openly hidden references happen more frequently. It’s possible that the gangsters might yet receive names.
For BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard also presented some earlier concepts, including the increasingly popular “Jetpack Cat.” This was even briefly mentioned by lead story writer Michael Chu in the voice actor panel. There are also possible other heroes in these.
Jetpack Cat, anyone?
When are the new heroes coming? According to Kaplan, there is no precise schedule, other than that the six heroes mean “years” for us [Overwatch]. Although Echo has been confirmed as one of the upcoming heroes, she is not the next hero after Ashe.
Ashe, on the other hand, is set to appear soon on the PTR. Kaplan also hinted at the timeline of the evening of Monday, November 5th (our time).
An early concept – Echo can also be seen here. Are more of these heroes coming?
Diablo Immortal was announced at BlizzCon 2018 as a new mobile game in the Diablo universe. The developers at NetEase have now revealed new details to Chinese media.
After many negative reactions from fans to the announcement of Diablo Immortal and Blizzard’s response, there are now new details about the game that everyone is upset about. For Diablo Immortal, Blizzard is collaborating with the Chinese company NetEase, which will take on much of the development. NetEase has already discussed the engine of Diablo Immortal and other details with Chinese media.
Here are the plans for Diablo Immortal so far
Own engine for development: NetEase has confirmed that the game engine “Messiah” will be used for the development of Diablo Immortal. NetEase developed Messiah in 2010 and has already used it for game projects in 2013.
Messiah is designed to best create 3D games for mobile. Through a partnership with Qualcomm, Messiah is optimized for Qualcomm’s mobile chips. These chips are found in gaming smartphones like the new ASUS ROG Phone .
Messiah supports various technologies for mobile gaming. These aim to minimize the amount of detail lost while playing.
A “brighter” Diablo: According to NetEase, Diablo Immortal will not be as “dark” as “the PC game” – presumably a reference to Diablo 3. However, it is not entirely clear what NetEase means by that:
The story could be less “bleak” as skeletons are not depicted in China
or the game could visually become “brighter” as dark colors are not well recognized and distinguished on mobile
Diablo Immortal is said by Blizzard not to be released on PC. Instead, Android and iOS players share the servers. However, NetEase itself has no problem with fans playing Diablo Immortal on PC via emulators.
Looks quite dark: Diablo Immortal.
More quality at unknown price: Currently, NetEase is working to increase the quality of Diablo Immortal. Therefore, the focus is not currently on potential features such as:
Guilds
PvP
Transmogrification
Auction houses, etc.
After the accusation that Diablo Immortal is just a copy, fans have already feared a massive “pay-to-win” game. However, there is still no concrete information about a payment model. According to NetEase, the business model is “not set in stone.”
What do you expect from Diablo Immortal? Will you give the game a chance or not? Let us know in the comments!
