The game files of Fallout 76 include significantly more content than what is currently available in the game. Resourceful players have taken a closer look at the available files and have come across a lot of unpublished content.
The user Tepiltzin shared a list on reddit of text and audio files that he found in the Fallout 76 game files. He simply read the list from the existing files. Thanks to our user Kai Walter on Discord for this discovery.
In the process, he came across some content that we might expect in the future. This includes several events that may not have made it into the game but are still lingering in the files. A small glimpse of what is still to come in Fallout 76 has also been given by Bethesda.
Cut and upcoming content for Fallout 76
What has been found? Specifically, Tepiltzin found game files for numerous previously unpublished contents. These include:
Events
Quests
Dialogues
Boss mechanics
Features like diseases and mutations
Among the files were also many notes from the developers that had nothing to do with new content. Remarks and notes like: “Success! You have found the test message of this terminal. Just look at yourself.” or “This is the test of the tutorial system. This is just a test. If this were a real tutorial, you would have received important information by now.”
This could come in the future: Tepiltzin and other fans have actively discussed and speculated in the post about which of the found contents could still come in the future. Some of them they consider very likely:
An Enclave event for the presidential election
Events in other vaults. The vaults already exist in Fallout 76
Especially the information about the different PvP modes such as “Quick Play” or “Team Deathmatch” seems to fit well. Bethesda already announced in December 2018 that a new PvP game mode for Fallout 76 is in the works.
What seems to have been cut: Other contents have apparently already been introduced in other ways, are incomplete, or pertain to events that already exist. Therefore, they will probably not make it into the game. Among the discarded plans are:
A romance quest with an Assaultron
A chem collection for Rose, the Raider bot
The mutation “RAD Walker” and the “Burned” disease
A repeatable quest for the “Tomahawk Scouts”
A gift that players were supposed to receive on New Year’s

In Pokémon GO, players report that they can no longer log into their accounts. However, this is not their fault. Niantic acknowledges the issues and states that they are working on a solution.
No Account Access in Pokémon GO: On Reddit, players report that they suddenly cannot log into their accounts. This has reportedly been a problem affecting multiple players for several weeks. The affected trainers can no longer retrieve server data – so they have not been able to access the game for weeks.
Niantic had not responded for a long time or only provided generic answers. Now, there is a statement regarding the login issues.
Players Report Account Loss on Reddit
What is it about? Last Friday (January 18), Reddit user StrangeFreak posted in the subreddit of TheSilphRoad. He writes (via Reddit) “Niantic is losing high-level accounts and can’t tell anyone why.”
A friend of his has been having trouble restoring his account since Christmas. The account seems to be somehow damaged. He is not an isolated case. The help from Niantic on this matter leaves much to be desired.
This was the problem: The communication from Niantic is criticized. Many players have already reported issues with account losses on Reddit. The support requests regarding account losses were supposedly automatically closed by Niantic, it is said. Players felt neglected as a result.
They have already invested hundreds of hours in their beloved Pokémon GO accounts, caught shinies and collected experience points. And now Niantic cannot help and doesn’t care about the players. Some trainers were afraid that their accounts had been deleted and therefore couldn’t log in.

The problem becomes more widespread if accounts with login losses had Pokémon in gyms. Because when other players interact with these gyms, their game reportedly crashes. The gyms then no longer function.
This is new now: On Reddit, StrangeFreak’s post received a lot of attention. A Niantic employee, NianticGeorge, also spoke up there.
He thanks the players for their patience and explains that they are working on a solution. He also apologizes for the lack of updates on the situation for a long time. “We are aware that some trainers cannot log into Pokémon GO. If you are affected by the error, the message appears that the game cannot retrieve data from the server.”
But there is no need to worry: The affected accounts have not been deleted. Niantic is working hard to fix the login issues and the related gym errors. They are also trying to identify the cause of the problem.
Accounts are already being restored: They have now started to grant players access back to their accounts. However, it will take a while for this process to be fully completed, according to Niantic.

An 11-year-old boy purchased skins in Fortnite with his parents’ money for $1200. The parents demanded a refund from Epic and complained to the Attorney General.
What happened? An 11-year-old child who loves playing Fortnite wanted to buy skins and other cosmetics. So he spent $1200 of his parents’ money without their knowledge.
This is what the parents did: The parents then contacted the developers of Fortnite via email and tried to explain the situation. They wanted to get their money back. However, Epic did not respond.
They then wrote to a state consumer protection agency in North Carolina under the Attorney General to try to get the money back.
This is how Epic responded: The developers promptly responded and refunded the parents their money.
In an interview, a developer provided a glimpse into the 8-man raid for The Division 2, which is currently in planning.
In a conversation with Dualshockers.com, Terry Spier, a staff member of Red Storm Studios, revealed that they are still working hard to implement community feedback.
Furthermore, it is confirmed that Red Storm is working on content that is set to be released post-launch. This includes the 8-man raid, which is expected to be released as a free DLC within the first year. Spier was at least able to share a few brief details about it.

Those who want to obtain the exotic sniper rifle Izanagi’s Burden in Destiny 2 have a long and rocky road ahead.
The weapon is linked to a mega-quest, during which Guardians must master all 4 Forges of the Black Armory and the Broken Throne, as well as complete various collection tasks.
Many players who are tempted by the weapon wonder if Izanagi’s Burden is even worth the effort. We take a closer look at the weapon.
Izanagi’s Burden – How the new sniper performs in practice
This is what makes Izanagi’s Burden special: Izanagi’s Burden is an exotic sniper rifle for the kinetic slot with a fire rate of 90 and a impact of 70. The weapon uses special ammo – so green boxes.

What makes the weapon special is its intrinsic perk, Honed Edge. Holding the reload button consumes the magazine and compresses it into a single round.
This projectile gains increased range and more damage. Depending on how many rounds are currently in the magazine (4 is the maximum), the exotic effect can stack up to 4 times.
With this exotic perk, the weapon is able to achieve kills with just one body shot in PvP under certain circumstances.
Additionally, the perks Enhanced Rounds and Outlaw can be found on the weapon, increasing range and reload speed after precision kills. Moreover, a composite stock improves the stability and handling of the sniper.
By the way: The overcharged projectile remains after compression until fired – even if you switch weapons in between.

What Izanagi’s Burden can do in PvE
In PvE, Izanagi’s Burden deals the following damage:
3657 with a critical hit without Honed Edge
7292 with a critical hit with Honed Edge 2x (+199% damage)
10427 with a critical hit with Honed Edge 3x (+285% damage)
18238 with a critical hit with Honed Edge 4x (+499% damage)
All these values are achieved without additional buffs. For comparison – the Whisper of the Worm achieves 8439 with Breathing Control activated and 5224 without.
This is what PvE players think: Izanagi’s Burden hits hard, especially since it is a kinetic and not a power weapon. Almost all owners of the weapon agree on this. However, compressing and activating Honed Edge takes time. Additionally, the weapon needs to be reloaded afterward.
In PvE, Izanagi’s Burden cannot compete with the current top choice Whisper of the Worm when it comes to sustained damage output over time – especially in endgame content like the raid Last Wish or Scourge of the Past. However, the new exotic sniper has its qualities.
To fully unleash its potential, one must consistently land critical hits with the Whisper. Only then can the enormous damage output over time be maintained.
Players who cannot achieve this can easily reach for Izanagi’s Burden if they want to use a sniper capable of dealing heavy damage. In Nightfall, Strikes, the Forges, or while patrolling, the new sniper can really make a difference.
What Izanagi’s Burden can do in PvP
The weapon is equipped in the kinetic slot and can therefore be combined with popular PvP weapons like Luna’s Howl or Not Forgotten.
In the Crucible, Izanagi’s Burden deals the following damage:
394 with a critical hit and 131 with a body shot without Honed Edge
786 with a critical hit and 155 with a body shot with Honed Edge 2x
1104 with a critical hit and 185 with a body shot with Honed Edge 3x
1965 with a critical hit and 328 with a body shot with Honed Edge 4x
This is how one-hit kills are possible: The damage for critical hits is exaggerated and deadly even at the lowest damage rank. However, to eliminate a Guardian in the Crucible with a body shot, a stack of 4 Honed Edge bullets is needed. You have to compress a full magazine (4 shots) into a single projectile, but you only start with 2 shots.
Without extra special ammo, one-hit kills with body shots are not possible, you need to collect additional special ammo beforehand. However, if you manage to collect special ammo, one-hit kills with body shots become quite easy to achieve.
This is how one-hit kills against enemies with an active super are possible: Izanagi’s Burden can also kill your opponents with just one shot during their Super in PvP.
This means that you can take down any active super in Destiny 2, as long as you compress at least 2 rounds into a projectile and land a critical hit. However, one-hit kills with body shots during a super are not possible – not even with Honed Edge 4x.
This is what PvP fans say: So far, the new sniper has received very positive feedback from PvP fans. In addition to the one-shot capability, the weapon features excellent handling, a good and quick sight, and a generous hitbox that makes it easy to hit running or turning targets.
Additionally, it has the best flinch behavior of all existing snipers. This means that the flinching of the sight when hit by opponents feels the least jarring of all sniper rifles, which is a big plus in PvP. In PvP, Izanagi’s Burden is arguably one of the best sniper rifles you can equip.

This question largely depends on whether you are playing in PvE or PvP, and what weapons you usually prefer.
Against AI enemies: In PvE, when it comes to sustained damage, there is hardly any way around the Whisper. Furthermore, the competition for the exotic slot is strong with weapons like Thunderlord and Sleeper – even though both use the power slot.
Thus, Izanagi’s Burden has a comparably hard time fighting for a spot in the exo slot – especially in endgame content.
In the Crucible: In PvP, you can achieve a lot with the new sniper if you’re a fan of snipers and enjoy this weapon category. Especially if you have filled your special and power slots with legendary weapons out of preference, Izanagi’s Burden is a very strong alternative for the Crucible.

What do his statistics say? The player’s trading statistics are enormous. He traded a total of 19,025 Pokémon over a distance of over 24 million kilometers. In total, he now has 1000 Lucky Pokémon. That means approximately every 19th trade was one of the Lucky Pokémon.
When the trading system came out in Pokémon GO, he knew that everyone would start from zero. His chance to set his own record was therefore great.
What makes trading special for him? For the Australian player, the trading function is a good way to meet friends and also to make new friendships. Moreover, he loves to obtain Pokémon with good IV through trading.
The Lucky Pokémon help in obtaining Pokémon with good IV. Lucky Pokémon have at least 80% IV.

Many have the feeling that the new loot shooter Anthem could be Electronic Arts’ response to the success of Bungie’s shooter Destiny. What do the developers at BioWare say about this? And what are the behind-the-scenes whispers?
This is the situation: In 2014, the shared-world shooter Destiny was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It quickly became clear that the title would be a financial success.
This fits into the strategy of large publishers: Many have discovered live games as a new important pillar of their strategy.
Therefore, many analysts and players suspected that Destiny would set a trend that other publishers would follow: Loot shooters that would be developed over the years.
The gaming industry is known for a good game quickly finding imitators.
So it was already thought that “The Division” would be Ubisoft’s response to Destiny in 2016, and many also believe that Anthem is clearly influenced by Destiny.

We are looking at the new MMOs and MMORPGs that we believe have the best chances of success in 2019. You should keep an eye on the development of these online games if you are into online gaming.
The genre of online games has radically changed in recent years. While 10 years ago everyone tried to develop the next WoW, today there are various trends in the market that strongly differ.
In recent years, trends have alternated: it has gone from MOBAs to loot shooters to survival MMOs. Apart from that, indie MMORPGs are trying to capture the charm of a bygone era. Ambitious games want to take the genre to new dimensions: they dream of simulated, huge worlds where everything is interconnected.
2019 will probably be the year in online gaming where three different movements bear fruit that we have been observing for years:
the indie MMORPG trend could finally become market-ready. Independent games funded via Kickstarter and in development for years are slowly maturing for the big stage
besides that, new loot shooters are due after 3 to 5 years in development. They want to combine MMO ideas with great gunplay and the search for ever more loot – and this also for PS4 and Xbox One
from Asia come action MMOs that combine RPG elements with ideas from hack and slash. They want to lead MMORPGs into a new era by relying on fast-paced gameplay.
All movements have their fans. We at MeinMMO want to represent the most important representatives in this article.
This is New World (PC): It is an MMO with RPG and survival elements from Amazon. New World takes place during the colonization of North America in the 17th century – yet all myths and legends are true here. It is a colonial horror setting.
The special thing about New World is the scale of the game. With the technology of Amazon backing, New World is supposed to be huge and provide a hostile home for thousands of players. The MMO will launch with immense dimensions and then continue to grow.
How has the development of New World been so far? The game was announced in September 2016. For a long time, there was little information available.
This is New World at its best: A modern, action-packed game that you can immerse yourself in and that sets new technical standards. A successful New World would tell great stories crafted by players, like armies of players fighting against each other.
New World could bring back the “massive” in MMOs and become the next big thing on Twitch. That would surely be in Amazon’s interest, after all, they own the streaming platform.
This is New World at its worst: A large but empty world that falls short of expectations. There are many such survival games – the worst thing for New World would probably be to get lost in the crowd and fail to clarify what makes this special.
What to expect from New World in 2019: Currently, the alpha is running under NDA. There is no roadmap for New World. In 2019, one can expect that the development will progress slowly but steadily.
Perhaps even a beta will open at the end of 2019. However, more information will surely become known, and more people will play New World and hopefully also discover it for themselves.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the Ice Storm challenges are now active. In these, you need to find and destroy Ice Fiends and Ice Brutes. How to take down the beasts most effectively is explained here.
The monsters that aren’t zombies spawn in large numbers and attack anyone who gets close. When you defeat them, they often leave behind useful items, sometimes even of the highest quality.
How to find the monsters: The monsters spawn around ice shards. They are randomly placed on the Fortnite map.
Additionally, you need to take down the monsters dozens of times for the new Ice Storm challenges.
How to complete the Ice Storm challenges
What tasks are there? As of 21.01.2019, there are four tasks that relate to battling the monsters:
Destroy Ice Fiends
Destroy Ice Brutes
Deal damage to the Ice Legion with explosive weapons
Deal damage to the Ice Legion with assault rifles or pistols
How to solve it optimally is explained in the following paragraphs.
How to destroy Ice Fiends: Ice Fiends are the small, normal non-zombies. They are easy to kill as they have only a few hit points. Ideally, you let a bunch of them spawn and then lure them onto a pile of dynamite, a trap, or blast them with powerful weapons like the Minigun or the Heavy Assault Rifle.
This way, you can quickly accomplish the required 250 Ice Fiends.
How to destroy Ice Brutes: Ice Brutes are the big, chunky brothers of the Ice Fiends. They take much more damage and are hard to kill. So ideally use weapons with a lot of power, like shotguns, and aim for headshots.
Explosive weapons are great for damaging many of them at once. Ideally, you also take out a few smaller fiends while farming for brutes. You need to kill a total of 100 of them.
How to deal damage to the Ice Legion: The last currently available challenges revolve around the Ice Legion.
This refers to all ice monsters: that is Ice Fiends, Ice Brutes, and also the larger, glowing monsters in Fortnite.
You do not have to kill them in the previously mentioned challenges, just wound them. With explosive weapons, as well as assault rifles or pistols. Explosive weapons are not always easy to find but are absolutely great for fighting non-zombies in the game.
So let a lot of them spawn and blast away. Dynamite sticks are ideal here as they do not explode immediately and you can then let the monsters walk right onto them. A total of 5,000 damage must be dealt.
The second challenge requires you to deal damage to the monsters with pistols OR assault rifles. Assault rifles clearly have the advantage, so ideally, use those. You need to deal an impressive 10,000 damage, which can take a while.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout will soon get a new mode that is primarily aimed at fans of stealth gameplay. We explain how Ambush works and reveal when the mode is coming.
What happened? Just last week, a new limited-time format was introduced in CoD for the Battle Royale mode on PS4 with “Down but not out”, in which revives are possible for the first time in Blackout. This week, the mode is expected to follow on PC and Xbox One.
However, details about the next limited-time mode “Ambush” for Blackout have already leaked via the Companion App for Black Ops 4. The leak has even been confirmed by Treyarch. We explain what it’s all about.
What defines the Ambush mode? Ambush is also a limited-time mode for Blackout and focuses more on sneaking and hiding rather than intense shootouts.
Fights will initially take place at long distances, where you may not even see the opponent. The match will likely end in close combat range.
In Ambush, players will only have access to sniper rifles and melee weapons, making stealth a crucial component of Blackout. The circle is expected to continuously shrink without any breaks.
Ghost allows you to move faster while crouched and on the ground. Ideal for snipers who want to move unseen.
Dead Silence makes your footsteps and the opening of containers quieter. Ideal for sneaking up on enemies unnoticed and looting crates discreetly.
Outsider reduces the damage you take outside the collapse circle and also increases your movement speed there. Ideal for avoiding the circle more effectively and surprising the enemy from unexpected directions.
It is not yet known whether there will be additional equipment and what this equipment will look like.
Who is Ambush aimed at? The new mode is likely to be of interest to anyone who enjoys sniping and sneaking. Because that is what Ambush will be all about.
At the beginning, it’s going to be about having good skills with the sniper rifle and moving and positioning as unobtrusively as possible. In the end, it will be about surprising the enemy as unexpectedly as possible and ideally taking them out in close combat from behind, undetected.
Intense shootouts and battles at medium to close ranges will not be found in Ambush. So if you prefer action over tactical stealth gameplay, Ambush may not be for you.
When is Ambush coming? While no exact date has been given, Treyarch mentioned that Ambush is set to seamlessly replace the currently active mode “Down but not out.” That would be on PS4 on January 30. PC and Xbox One would likely follow a week later on February 6.
The VIP demo of Anthem is coming soon. As Electronic Arts announces, each participant of the demo can invite three friends.
Invite friends to the exclusive demo: The VIP demo of Anthem is a closed beta intended for players who have already pre-ordered the game. Recently, however, there is a guide on the American website of Electronic Arts showing how participants of the VIP demo can invite three friends.
This means that players who are not part of the pre-order group can also play the VIP demo of Anthem. They just need to have a friend who has access to this demo.
How to invite friends
What are the requirements for the invitation? Only a player who has pre-ordered and has access to the VIP demo can send the invitation. The player can invite a maximum of three friends, who can then also participate in the demo.
Anthem must be started first: To receive and activate these invitations, players must first download the game and have opened it in the launcher at least once. The preload for Anthem starts on January 23.

If you’ve been visiting Mein-MMO.de for a while, you might remember that we used to showcase the best “Play of the Game” moments of the week. However, since it became repetitive and the gameplay scenes were quite similar, we eventually discontinued it – until now. Because a clip has now surfaced on Reddit that is truly remarkable.
We’ve seen many Reinhardts charge in and take three, four, or five enemies down with them. But what the player Makpakk has achieved here is something you don’t see every day.
On the map Hanamura, the player Makpakk is on defense. His team notices that the enemies are gathering for a coordinated attack and waiting for the right moment. But just as they are about to enter one of the two access tunnels, Reinhardt charges down from the upper level and knocks all six enemies off their feet.

Amazon’s sandbox MMO New World will have a strong focus on PvP. Our author Leya is not interested in PvP at all. However, she is really intrigued by the PvE creatures in the game.
So far, New World has hardly interested me as a player privately, which I actually find a shame. At Gamescom 2018 I tried out Amazon’s new sandbox MMO and I liked it. I am particularly drawn to the sense of adventure that New World gives me.
However, what does not excite me at all are three letters: PvP
Here’s what it’s about in New World: New World takes place in an alternate version of North America in the 17th century. We are in the time of the colonization of America by Europe: the time of discovering a New World.
Accordingly, there will be large battles where players will fight for dominance, camps, and territories.
These wars will be an important part of the game. I initially wrote off New World for myself. I simply have no desire for these open battles against other players.

3 mythical beasts suddenly awaken my curiosity
When I stumbled upon three images of New World, I suddenly became fired up. The images show mystical creatures.
These animals look incredibly fascinating and seem to be intertwined with nature.
What kind of animals are these? This question immediately formed in my head. They radiate such a threatening majesty that I can’t help but study every fiber closely.
From the Twitter of New World, I gather that these majestic beauties are guardians wandering the land. Looking at them, they could symbolize the seasons:
The bear (?), slowly perishing with its death mask and rotting leaves
The deer, covered in blossoms and lush green, like the jubilant spring
The wolf, wrapped in a winter cloak of ice
It is said to be uncertain where adventurers will encounter these beasts. But those who dare to challenge them will invoke misfortune.
Mystical creatures in PvE: In general, New World is supposed to offer some horror beasts that players must fight against. The world is said to be full of dangers and adventures. Zombies or the shown guardians provide a challenge for PvE fans.

How much mystical is in New World? With the setting of American colonization, I initially had the impression that it would be a historical MMO. The images of the three animal guardians moved me to look into this further.
In fact, the mystical will play a larger role than I had previously realized:
Superstition is a fact in New World. Monsters and magic exist
There are spiritual threats. People can protect themselves with things like talismans
Protective runes and rituals serve people in war
People may not conjure magic as wizards and witches do, but they can make use of it.
So far, I have not really been able to get excited about New World. But since I have seen the mystical creatures and the actual horror setting has come more into my consciousness, this adventurous MMO has crept back into my focus.
I hope that these PvE contents weigh as heavily as the big PvP battles with other players. Because I would love to experience this mysterious adventure and encounter the guardians.

Players of the pirate MMO Atlas were recently attacked by whales, airplanes, and even tanks from World War I. Hackers seized an admin account and caused havoc. But where do the airplanes and tanks come from? They don’t fit in the game at all.
This is what happened: Cheaters spawned whales and airplanes out of nowhere to defend their own fleet, distracting other players and damaging their ships. Tanks from World War I were also summoned by command.
What is a WW1 tank, the British Mark IV, doing in Atlas? In the survival MMO Atlas, it is primarily about pirates and their adventures. Tanks and airplanes from World War I or II do not fit in.
This is what it’s about: The airplanes and tanks are by no means part of the actual game and cannot usually be found or built. They were added to Atlas shortly after its release in December, as pioneers of the dev kit, or the Steam Workshop integration.
Server admins should be able to test via cheat commands what options they have to customize their servers. This includes the tank, the airplane, and a flying ship in a steampunk design.
The cheaters exploited the existing game data and spawned the tanks on the official servers, where they were never supposed to land.
By activating BattleEye, the developers have already taken a first step towards combating cheating.
