In the MMORPG Black Desert bosses will soon attack you while you grind. In a new content update, dark fissures appear that summon these monsters.
What is new? In a new content update, Pearl Abyss brings some innovations for their MMORPG Black Desert. The most important are mysterious bosses that can attack you at any time, even while you are farming.
Additionally, since Friday, Bartali’s Adventure Diary is available, promising you numerous new quests. We will tell you what Black Desert fans can expect.
What the new bosses can do
The developers say: In a press release, the developers provide insights into the new content. With the update, dark fissures will appear somewhere on the map of Black Desert, from which powerful bosses will emerge.
These bosses can attack you at any time and disturb you while farming. You will have no peace from the monsters.
This is how the battle unfolds: The special feature of this boss fight is the intimacy, as you will carry out this fight completely alone. You will not receive support from other players.
What do I get from the battle? You will, of course, be rewarded when you defeat the monsters. What exactly your reward will be is not yet known. You will probably have to start the fight first.
What if I don’t find any bosses? You don’t have to worry if you are not randomly attacked by one of the bosses. If you want to fight, you can find the monsters using the location feature on the map.
What makes these battles special? It doesn’t matter what level you have, you can be attacked anywhere and anytime. The special thing about the new bosses is that you are not safe anywhere. Even if you are not currently looking for fights and would rather go grind instead, these monsters could attack you.
When do the new monsters come? The update will take place on Wednesday, the 13th of February. Then you can immediately start with the new content and challenge the powerful beasts.
This is also new: As many have certainly already noticed, Bartali’s Adventure Diary has been available in the world of Black Desert since Friday.
This book provides you with numerous quests, which hold important bonuses for your characters when solved. However, to use the adventure log, you must be at least level 51 and have completed the main quest in the Calpheon region.

In February, Red Dead Online receives updates. The team is now showing what it entails. Bounties will be adjusted and griefers will be curtailed. Additionally, there will be insights into daily quests.
When is the February update coming? On February 26, a series of updates and features aimed at improving the beta of Red Dead Online will be released.
What is included in the updates? It involves changes to lawmen and bounties, player markings on the mini-map, weapon balance, and daily quests.
Features against griefers: Infamy, Visibility, and Bounties
What was the problem? Griefers are making life difficult for players in Red Dead Online. The rogues can recognize you far across the map and face little consequence for continually killing others.
What changes with the update: The visibility of players on the map will only be shown to other players when you are within a radius of 150 meters together. If you are more than 150 meters away and fire a shot, you will also be revealed. You will not see players in other towns or regions.
Beware, soon there will be hefty bounties
Infamy and Feuds change
This is how the new infamy system works: This new feature is intended to act against particularly aggressive players. As infamy increases, the map position of the player and their posse will increasingly be colored from blue to dark red.
Infamy is increased through vile deeds such as killing or attacking other players or their horses. This only counts outside of events and game modes.
The shorter the time between actions, the faster infamy increases. If you behave well again, the bad reputation will gradually diminish.
Negotiate or fight?
Negotiation changes: The “Negotiate” option will appear soon after the first kill. This applies to the entire posse of the attacker. If you prefer to fight, you can soon declare a feud after the first kill as well.
Bounties and the Law
If there is a high bounty on a player and they fall into infamy, bounty hunters will soon be lurking for them.
How does the bounty increase? Your crimes drive your bounty up. The severity of the crime is taken into account. Killing other players greatly raises the bounty. Violence against villagers or animals results in smaller increases in bounty. Looting or theft only reduces your honor.
The higher the bounty, the harder it is to escape from the bounty hunters.
In the towns, you have to be careful with a high bounty.
These are the daily challenges
More variety will soon be provided by the Daily Quests. With these challenges, you earn XP and Gold Nuggets.
What kind of tasks are these? As an example, Rockstar Games mentions:
Collecting herbs
Selling items to the fence
Hunting and skinning animals
Clearing gang hideouts
Winning feuds
The selection of these tasks is to be regularly expanded, according to Rockstar. There will also be rewards for regularly completing challenges.
Changes to weapon balance and bonus weeks
The weapons in Red Dead Online will also be adjusted. The Varmint Rifle is to become as accurate as other repeating rifles.

In FIFA 19 the ratings refresh is coming. Many players will receive better standard cards. When do these winter upgrades come – what is the release date in FUT 19?
EA announces winter refresh – Update: On February 12th, EA Sports revealed the winter refresh. This event will include the Prime ICON Moments as well as the winter Ones-to-Watch. Additionally, many players will receive winter upgrade cards.
This is why there are winter upgrades in FUT 19: Unlike other game modes in FIFA 19, the FUT cards are not constantly adjusted to the real performances of the respective professional players. The standard cards are inflexible in this regard.
Some players do receive “in form” cards (IF-Cards) during the season, however, the stats of the standard cards remain unchanged. Only special card types, such as the OTW cards, adapt dynamically.
The winter upgrades only affect the “non-special cards” – and introduce some updated standard cards into the Ultimate Team mode.

Release date of the winter upgrades in FUT 19
Confirmed start: The first winter upgrades will come with the start of the winter refresh event on February 15th. That’s a Friday.
How does the release of the new cards work? In recent years, not all new standard cards have been revealed at once. Instead, EA Sports released “batches” of updated cards sorted by leagues gradually. These are the release times this time:

What are the winter upgrades / ratings refresh in Ultimate Team?
Twice a year, the standard player cards in FUT are updated:
When a new FIFA installment is released (in autumn)
and after the winter transfers, that is, in February.
These adjustments are meant to reflect the real performances of the players, which they showed consistently on the pitch in the previous months.
The term ratings refresh: Until FIFA 16, there were only “winter upgrades”. Player cards could only be upgraded, receiving only better values. I
In FIFA 17, there was then a change: winter upgrades were renamed to “ratings refresh”, which also introduced downgrades.
In FUT 18, the ratings refresh came again, but only with upgrades. Downgrades were dropped. The official term “ratings refresh” remained for the winter upgrades.
The ratings refresh only affects the standard cards (bronze, silver, gold):
Usually, the gold cards are upgraded by 1-2 points in rating. Silver and bronze players receive upgrades of about 4 points. In rare cases, improvements for bronze players can reach a whopping 15 points.
This is how you get an upgrade card with a higher overall rating
New cards replace old ones in the packs: Once the winter upgrade cards are released, they can be drawn from the sets. The only requirement is that the set can contain players. The “old” cards of the respective players are no longer available in the sets from that moment on.

What happens to my old card? If you already own a card of a player who is getting upgraded, this remains unchanged. It will not be automatically updated. If you want the card of the player with improved attributes, you must draw it from a set.
It is also possible to acquire the winter upgrade cards from other players on the transfer market.
In other words: After the ratings refresh, two versions of standard cards of the respective player coexist in FUT.
How do the IF cards – the Informs – behave with the winter upgrades?
The “in form” cards, like the “Team of the Week” cards, are a bit complicated with the winter upgrades.
In short: If the new winter upgrade card of the player has a better or equal rating than the existing IF card(s), the IF cards will be automatically upgraded. These are to remain better than the standard cards.
However: If a player switches quality during the winter upgrade (e.g., from silver to gold) and the previous IF card was a silver card, it will remain unchanged.
An example of the IF cards of Aguero from the past (no current cards from FIFA 19):
The standard card at launch had a rating of 87. After the winter upgrade, Aguero received a standard card with 88. Since one of his IF cards already had 88, this will be increased to 89. His TOTW card, which was 89 – two points better than 87, will be to 90, to be again 2 points better than the new standard card.
By the way: IF cards are not only TOTW cards but also heroes and other special cards. The Scream cards are not affected.
What do the new player cards look like? Like the previous standard cards (gold, silver, bronze). Players can change quality.
What is the difference between the previous standard cards and the new cards? The overall rating and the stats. Only in rare cases does the position change if the player has predominantly played in a new position in recent months.
What happens to the old standard cards? These remain unchanged. However, they are replaced in the packs by the new cards. That means, the old cards can no longer be drawn from the sets.
What happens to the existing IFs? These also receive an upgrade if the new standard card exceeds or matches the existing IF card in rating.
How long are the “ratings refresh” cards in the sets? Likely until the end of FIFA 19.
Can a winter transfer player receive an upgrade? Yes.
Are the winter upgrades the winter transfers? No, winter transfers occur before the winter upgrades. In the upgrades, neither club nor league changes.
The first ratings refresh cards
The first three winter upgrade cards are now known:

Loadouts – This feature was demanded by agents for months
What are Loadouts? Loadouts are a feature that allows you to save builds and quickly switch between them. In other words, when you equip a character with different weapons, armor pieces, and skills, you can save this selection and retrieve it at any time.
Loadouts in The Division 1: For a long time, there was no sign of loadouts, even though agents had been asking for them since launch. After all, many were playing in the Dark Zone with different builds than in regular PvE, which meant they had to swap every weapon and armor piece individually. This took a lot of time – and was just annoying.
On May 23, 2017, loadouts were finally introduced with the Update 1.6.1. It took more than 14 months for Massive to implement this community wish.
Loadouts in The Division 2: The feature will almost certainly be available right at the launch of part 2. Loadouts were already hidden in the Beta of The Division 2.
In the character overview, there was a menu option called “Equipments” – which is nothing other than loadouts. Once you have unlocked all the corresponding character perks, you can save a total of six loadouts simultaneously (at least in the beta build).
This affects your gameplay
This means for you: You can create builds at the start of The Division 2 to your heart’s content, save them as “Equipments,” and access them anytime.
Create your own builds for the Dark Zone, PvE content, and PvP modes and switch quickly between them without needing to swap each item individually.
Standalone PvP was not guaranteed in The Division 1
“Real PvP” in The Division: Those who wanted to shoot other agents at the start of their agent career had no choice but to march into the Dark Zone. However, this PvE-PvP area only offered optional PvP, which could not satisfy the PvP cravings of many players.
A pure PvP mode was long awaited in The Division 1. The paid mode “Last Stand” started in spring 2017, but it was also a mix of fighting NPCs and battling other agents.
PvP in The Division 2: The Division 2, on the other hand, launches with two standalone PvP modes: Skirmish and Domination, which are summarized under “Conflict”.

This means for you: Anyone who enjoys hunting other agents will have fun in The Division 2 from the start.

According to Massive, more maps and modes for PvP will be added in the future. Therefore, PvP fans should get their money’s worth.
From Named Highends to Exotics to Unique Weapons
Special Weapons in The Division 1: At launch in March 2016, “Highend” was the highest quality level of weapons. Well, not entirely. There were also “Named Highends” – particularly rare weapons that were supposed to be especially strong.
But: The Named Highends were merely highend weapons with names that were limited to fixed talents. They did not represent anything special. In fact, the standard highend weapons were better because they could come with powerful perk combinations. Therefore, the hunt for these rare weapons was not worth it at all.
With Update 1.6 at the end of February 2017, Massive completely revamped these miserable weapons. They gained unique talents, were marked with a reddish color in the inventory, and renamed “Exotics.” Some of them even became quite useful and enabled exciting playstyles.
Special Weapons in The Division 2:Exotic weapons return in The Division 2. The developers have already confirmed this several times. However, they are still holding back details for now.
No old Exotics from the predecessor are supposed to return. The new unique weapons are meant to feel powerful and special, but not overly strong. Additionally, they should visually stand out from standard weapons.

This affects your gameplay
This means for you: Exotic weapons are likely to be not only challenging to acquire but also truly powerful in The Division 2. Unlike the early months of The Division 1, the hunt for them should be worthwhile.
