Fortnite: Battle Royale recently offered some skins themed around “Fish” in the shop. Among them was a design called “Slippery.” However, it was supposed to have features that it ultimately did not include.
Which skin is it about? On 24.05.2019, the Fortnite shop was all about fish. Not only did the extremely silly skin “Fishstick” return, this time with another version (a VR Cyber Fish). There were also three “fishy” designs. These are skins for items that let you customize your weapons and vehicles.
There were three of them: a scale pattern, a fish head pattern, and another scale design, but according to the description, it had animation. Therefore, it costs also 500 (5 Euros) instead of 300 (3 Euros) V-Bucks.
Fish design makes customers angry
What was the problem with the skin? For the 2 extra Euros, many customers of the “Slippery Skin Design” were looking forward to processing their opponents into fish food with cool animated fish scales on their weapons.
But no matter how you turned it, the design only showed the same scales and no animation or reaction. It was actually just a different color version of the scale design for 300 V-Bucks.
This is how Epic reacts: There were some complaints about this. After all, people only bought the more expensive product because they wanted the animations. On Reddit, some dissatisfied customers shared their opinions.
Epic shortly responded via Twitter and admitted that they made a mistake. The design would not be animated. Therefore, they would reduce the price from 500 to 300. Everyone who purchased the item will receive a refund of the 200 V-Bucks difference.
This is what fans say: Some players think it’s okay that the design is now cheaper. But others are very confused as to why all the other non-animated designs for 500 V-Bucks still cost so much.
“Golden Scales also cost 500 V-Bucks and was not animated, why don’t you change that to 300 V-Bucks too?”
Others fans are disappointed because they specifically wanted the animated design. They do not want another skin that does nothing, not even for 300 V-Bucks:
“Can I get a full refund? The main reason for me was to have an animated skin. I don’t want another non-animated one.”
While some fans still hope that Epic will add the animation later, others mock that the buyer of the skin should have checked first whether the feature really works as advertised before spending money. So he is to blame for now having a useless fish design.
Fortunately, there is still the regular exchange action:
On May 28, Guild Wars 2 wants to introduce new “Quality of Life” changes to the game. These changes are part of a variety of adjustments that have already been made in recent months. Our author Alexander Leitsch finds the tackling of old systems very positive.
Guild Wars 2 celebrates its seventh birthday in August. Over time, games become outdated, and you can see that with this MMORPG as well. However, since April 2018, the developers have been revising many old systems. And I really like that.
Next Tuesday, the process is set to continue. The latest change seems quite unspectacular.
What can we expect in the upcoming patch? For the patch on May 28, small adjustments to gear with selectable attributes are planned.
When I farmed Ascended jewelry using the currency Winterberries, that gear had specific values to choose from. These were previously restricted to the expansion Heart of Thorns.
But now everything will be standardized. No matter where the gear I farmed comes from, the selectable values will adapt to the status of my account. If I only owned Path of Fire, I could only use those values and those of the base game. Of course, I own all expansions and can access all values accordingly.
However, there are three small exceptions:
Crafted backpieces
Armor and weapon rewards from elite specialization collections
Attribute combinations related to raids and fractals
So far, so unspectacular. However, when you look at this change in connection with the many other adjustments, a complete picture is slowly emerging.
Guild Wars 2 wants to become more beginner-friendly, clearer, and generally more understandable. And with the latest patches, they are succeeding in that.
Less clutter in the inventory, underwater combat, and standardization
Where do the QoL changes begin? ArenaNet was known for a long time for “making things worse” in Guild Wars 2. With the revamp in August 2014, they started improving the entry into the game.
The developers streamlined the system at the beginning and simply removed content like the downstate or elite skills, only to unlock them again at a later level.
While beginners were no longer overwhelmed by content, they were suddenly surprised by mechanics that simply didn’t exist at the beginning. I spent many hours explaining to people what exactly the downstate is and when they would receive skills for it.
Some changes, such as those to traits, I have always viewed critically. To be honest, I didn’t expect ArenaNet to turn things around and implement meaningful revisions.
However, since 2018, everything has changed.
Quality of Life in 2018: Almost all innovations regarding game systems in 2018 were celebrated enthusiastically by players. It all started with the glyph system in April. This created a unified system for gathering tools with bonus effects for the first time, something I had already demanded in a podcast.
I could hardly believe my luck, as ArenaNet was actually tackling many things I never thought would happen.
Quality of Life in 2019: This year there were even innovations and announcements I never expected. The adjustments to the loot system from March, which ensure that the inventory is no longer cluttered with gear, was already a significant bonus.
However, the developers captured my heart with the announcement of the build save system. This feature is not yet in the game but has been hotly debated since its release in 2012.
Why QoL changes are important: I am well aware that the listed changes do not win new players and that only a few veterans will cheerfully return to the MMORPG because of them.
Why have items such as pots and toys not been in the wardrobe for years? Why has underwater combat been so strictly ignored? These and many other questions were repeatedly raised by players.
If you want to bind players to a game long-term, it must also have some comfort functions and, above all, a unified system. And that is exactly what Guild Wars 2 has lacked for many years.
The right path: ArenaNet has taken the right path for me. Regular story episodes like now the Eternal War, additional content like fractals and raids, regular balance patches, and many adjustments to old systems.
In the first 5 months alone, there were 9 major updates for Guild Wars 2, including the mount Warclaw for WvW. But the journey is far from over. Important updates like the alliance system or build templates are still missing.
However, if ArenaNet continues to stay on track, then Guild Wars 2 has a long future ahead of it for me, especially because old systems are constantly being revised.
If you want to see something new in Guild Wars 2, you should definitely play the new map:
Dauntless celebrated its official release. It apparently attracted so many players that the servers can no longer handle the load. The developers are working on it, but fans still need to be patient.
There are even more expected. By the end of the year, Pheonix Labs aims to increase the numbers further. The developers want to attract up to 9 million players to the servers. The influx is already causing problems.
Too many players want to play.
Connection issues in Dauntless: Endless queues
Where do the queues come from? The reason for the queues is that the servers are simply “full”. They can no longer accommodate any more players. Therefore, Phoenix Labs had to implement a “one in, one out” policy. Every player who wanted to get in needed to take the spot of someone who left.
This is how long players have to wait: Some players reported sitting in the queues for over 3 hours.
Currently, the queue does not show a duration anymore. Instead, it displays how many players are still waiting in front of you in the queue. As of now (May 24 at 4:00 PM), there are no active queues.
The display of the queues. Image source: mmorpg.org.pl
This is what the developers are doing about it: The capacity for players who can play Dauntless simultaneously has already been increased. This should now allow more players to join the game at the same time.
However, there are still queues, and the developers have been working for days to manage the influx. The official Twitter account of Dauntless tweeted that work continues, capacities are being increased, and bugs and crashes are being fixed:

Previously, there were larger issues. In Dauntless players can hunt with friends, which is even supported by crossplay. However, the friend lists on PC, PS4, and Xbox One were empty for many players.
While the problem should be resolved by now, players must first log in to be able to play together. You can check the current status of the servers on the Dauntless status website.
In the future, Dauntless will even serve additional platforms:

In Fortnite: Battle Royale Fortbyte number 41 is now available for everyone. This time you need to play around with the emoji Tomatohead at the Durrr Burger. Find out here where the burger joint is and how to get the emoji.
Where is the Fortbyte? Those who want to find Fortbyte #41 in Fortnite need to use the emoji “Tomatohead” in a Durrr Burger restaurant.
The Fortbyte is located behind the counter in the kitchen by the fries fryers.
The corresponding restaurant can be found in Neo Tilted. There, head directly into the center of the city, the restaurant is located on the map below the letters “T” and “I” of Tilted.
How to collect the Fortbyte: Again, you cannot simply collect the Fortbyte. It floats around unaffected and you cannot interact with it.
The solution to the puzzle is the aforementioned emoji “Tomatohead”. You need to perform it before the Fortbyte. After that, it will activate and you can collect it.
The emoji Tomatohead is easy to obtain. It is available from level 3 of the Battle Pass of Season 9. However, only if you have purchased the pass. The emoji is, by the way, a reference to the legendary Tomatohead skin.
As always, you should also be careful this time when collecting the Fortbyte. Because while you are looking for the emoji in the emote wheel, you might be distracted and quickly become a victim of “Fortbyte snipers”, who particularly like to kill people who are searching for Bytes.
Is there a video as well? Various YouTubers have already shown videos where Fortbyte #41 is well visible. One of them is embedded here. Enjoy!

What are Fortbytes and how do you collect all of them? Fortbytes are basically electronic puzzle pieces and the special feature of Season 9. In total, there are 100 of them.
Every day a new Byte is revealed. By the end of the season, you can unlock the special skin of Season 9 with the Bytes. However, you will need a total of 90 out of 100 possible Fortbytes.
We have compiled an overview of all Fortbytes so far for you:
The world’s biggest WoW streamer Asmongold has been showcasing the beta of WoW Classic since its launch. He constantly faces challenges and completes dungeons. Now he has mastered one of the currently hardest available dungeons – with some difficulties.
This dungeon is about: Asmongold has taken on the Scarlet Halls, an instance in the dungeon hub of the Scarlet Monastery. The instance is intended for level 33-40 and is currently one of the hardest achievable instances in the WoW Classic beta.
In the instance, enemies are between level 35 and 37. The final boss of the instance is the scarlet champion Herod.
The instance is a highlight for Asmongold’s stream. Over 73,000 people watched, almost as many as during his run through the famous Deadmines.
The loading screen of the monastery. Image source: gamepedia.
Why is the dungeon actually too hard? The dungeon should not be attempted below level 33, as the enemies are quite strong and have significantly higher levels. This allows them to resist abilities and dodge attacks more easily.
The maximum level that can currently be reached in the WoW Classic beta is level 30. The gear that players can obtain is therefore limited and below the recommended gear for the armory.
Asmongold’s group therefore needed almost two hours on his livestream for the passage. In the process, some gear even broke since Asmongold, as a tank, took a lot of damage. Below we have embedded a slightly edited video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44BlKx7N1pE
This is how Asmongold managed the armory anyway
How was the group structured? To conquer the dungeon, Asmongold sought the best players he could find. His group consisted of:
Asmongold himself, a warrior with tank talents
A hunter
A warlock
A retribution paladin
A priest healer
In Classic, the specializations are not predetermined, allowing players to choose the talents that are useful for the instance. Especially the paladin with his blessings and lay on hands and the warlock with health and soul stones helped them frequently.
The talent tree of a warlock in Classic.
These tricks did Asmongold use: To conquer the instance, Asmongold employed tactics and even used a trick in between:
Through the warlock’s “Fear”, they kept an enemy in groups always in check
Asmongold used only certain abilities of his warrior that could best manage rage
In the middle of the dungeon, they sent the hunter to the city to fetch bread, water, and ammunition
Through the warlock’s summoning, they could bring the hunter back, which also works in instances during the beta
The final boss Herod was approached by the group with a lengthy tactical discussion, in which they thoroughly reviewed each ability. The fight itself then lasted about 15 minutes.

Other streamers are also enthusiastic about WoW Classic:
Currently, there is a legal dispute between the Twitch streamer Tfue and his clan FaZe in Fortnite . The clan leader, Banks, shared in a YouTube video how he recruited Tfue. He apparently acted as a friend and benefactor for the young players.
Many are wondering: How could the current Twitch star Tfue (21) sign a contract that is so unfavorable for him that he now wants to get out with all his might and even takes it to court.
Under what circumstances did the signature come about?
That was the moment when Tfue signed the contract
This is what Banks says: In a YouTube video that has already garnered 7 million views, FaZe clan leader Ricky “Banks” Banks explains how he recruited Tfue back then.
Banks (27) is himself a successful YouTuber with over 5.3 million followers. He has made a name for himself as a player of Call of Duty and CS:GO.
On YouTube, Banks talks about the weekend when Tfue signed the contract. That would have been in late April 2018. Back then, Tfue was only 20 and still a relatively small presence on Twitch.
Banks discovered him on Twitch the week before, decided to recruit him, and recommended him to his Fortnite captain for inclusion in the team after a spot opened up in the clan.

Back then, Tfue was flown in along with the rest of the Fortnite FaZe team, including team captain Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, Tfue’s later duo partner. The guys didn’t have a proper setup for their PCs at that time, the FaZe leader says.
Therefore, Banks took the 4 Fortnite players into a Best Buy and bought the equipment with his personal money so that they could play properly in the office.
Banks spent about $4000 from his bank account for:
Mice
Keyboards
Monitors
Other stuff
Tfue (left) and Banks (right) – Banks sees himself as a mentor and supporter for Tfue.
At that time, Tfue had already given a verbal agreement to join the FaZe clan.
Therefore, Banks had already prepared the contract and Tfue willingly and joyfully signed it.
This is now exactly the contract against which Tfue is fighting so vigorously.

This is the criticism of the video: It is precisely this point that Devin Nash, the former CEO of the eSports organization Counter Logic Gaming, criticizes. He had essentially the same job that Banks has now at FaZe.
Nash says the video shows exactly the point where the “bro and friend” stuff ends and the CEO comes to the fore.
The contract was prepared so that Tfue could sign it right away.
Banks is not the “friend”, but a businessman who would have paid the $4000 of his own money with the intention of recruiting a talented player.
A new teaser for Wizards Unite is here. There we see the three-headed dog Fluffy, who caused exciting scenes in the first part of Harry Potter.
What do you see in the teaser? As you are already used to from Wizards Unite, the teaser is relatively short and without much sound. The three-headed dog is seen causing chaos near a stadium.
Additionally, we only see Fluffy being stamped as a magical creature. What role we play as wizards is still unclear.
Check out the teaser for Wizards Unite here

Where do you know Fluffy from? The three-headed dog played a role in the first part of Harry Potter. There, Fluffy guarded a trapdoor that led to the Philosopher’s Stone. Harry and his friends were afraid of him, but Hagrid always insisted that Fluffy was a friendly dog.
What role could Fluffy play? It can be assumed that the dog will be a magical encounter in the game. You have to send Fluffy back to the wizarding world, just like many other creatures. You should help keep the secrets of the wizarding world.
What do fans say about the teaser? The mood in the comments about the teaser is good. Fans are eager to play, and not just in Australia and New Zealand.
Fluffy is also well-received. There are many comments expressing joy about the magical creature.

The “Wild Appalachia” update of Fallout 76 is complete, marking the first part of the major roadmap for 2019. To celebrate this milestone, Bethesda released some interesting statistics about the game – for example, regarding player deaths.
What kind of opponent is this? This is the Imposter Sheepsquatch introduced in Patch 8, a modified Aggressotron, which now believes itself to be a cryptid and terrorizes players.
It appears when you have completed the corresponding new quest and are participating in the associated event, which you can then initiate. So far, the Sheepsquatch has already killed 1,967,657 players in less than two months.
The Imposter Sheepsquatch is currently the most dangerous boss in the game, even more dangerous than the Queen of the Blightbeasts. Bethesda also released some other interesting numbers.
How Wild Appalachia Went
At the conclusion of the “Wild Appalachia” update, there are still some interesting data that Bethesda has collected over time about Fallout 76:
The most purchased items in the new player shops are fusion cores
However, there were no figures regarding the new PvP mode “Survival”, which also came with Wild Appalachia.
The legendary vendor was extremely popular.
What Happens Next
After “Wild Appalachia” is over, Bethesda mentioned once again what will happen with Fallout 76 moving forward. The next update on the roadmap for 2019 is “Nuclear Winter”.
The “Nuclear Winter” update is expected to bring a new game mode, but nothing is known about it yet. Additionally, Vaults 94 and 96 will be opened to serve as raids for players. They could be even bigger and harder than the new laboratory dungeon.
Later in the year, after Nuclear Winter, “Wastelanders” is also expected to be released, along with new events, features, and a new main story. More information will be provided by Bethesda at the upcoming E3 press conference:
The developers of WoW Classic had some fun during the first beta stress test. Veterans from the original beta tests of Vanilla might remember similar scenes.
During the first stress tests for the WoW Classic beta, thousands of players were able to test the servers for their stability. As many of the invited players as possible were expected to log in so that Blizzard could collect data. In the first hours, from 1 to 3 a.m. for us, the developers accompanied the test live – and created some highlights.
These bosses appeared: During the time when the developers accompanied the test, several of the most famous bosses appeared at the Abbey of Northshire. Among them were:
C’thun, the final boss of the Ahn’Qiraj raid (hour 2:33:42)
What did the bosses do? C’thun was the first to appear and began to slaughter players directly, whose maximum level in the test was limited to 5.
Shortly thereafter, Onyxia appeared, also causing death and destruction. However, she was fought by Patchwerk, created by the developers for this battle.
Finally, towards the end of the hours, Ragnaros, the Lord of the Molten Core, appeared with a Molten Giant, sending players to the afterlife one after another.
This is how the developers trolled: In the test, there was an NPC named Omar, a giant paladin with several servants: Layering, Phasing, and Sharding. These are allusions to Omar Gonzalez, whom WoW Classic owes to according to Blizzard head J. Allen Brack, and the sharding technology that is supposed to be used in Classic.
Omar appeared at the Abbey of Northshire, and the players gathered around him. They founded a sort of cult called “Children of Omar” and followed him through the game world to various locations (in the video starting around minute 50:00).
What comes next
The stress test ran until the early morning of May 24. From now on, the servers are offline again and only the regular beta of WoW Classic can be played. However, there will be further stress tests on:
Square Enix has now started the registration phase for weddings, which will be held in the style of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV in collaboration with the Japanese wedding planner Deuxzero.
What are these weddings? In cooperation with the wedding company Deuxzero, Square Enix wants to enable fans of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV to experience a wedding like in the game.
This is what a couple looks like that marries in the style of Final Fantasy 14.
This is how Final Fantasy fans get married
What do the ceremonies offer? Everything is supposed to be oriented towards Final Fantasy. From the clothing to the decoration to the wedding cake.
Clothing:Cosplay outfits reminiscent of the clothing in the MMORPG will be worn during the ceremony.
Decoration: Weapon replicas from the game, crystals found in the MMORPG, Chocobos, images and scenes from the game, and more will create the appropriate atmosphere.
Wedding cake and banquet: You will enjoy a delicious cake that also reflects FF14. In addition, there will be a feast designed for up to 142 guests consisting of dishes that are also available in the MMORPG.
What does it cost? A Final Fantasy wedding is said to cost 3.5 million yen. This is approximately 28,000 euros.
The Chocobo cannot be missing as decoration at a Final Fantasy wedding.
What does such a wedding look like? After a wedding was already performed for the press to illustrate how it takes place, there are now further impressions from Square Enix and Deuxzero.
This clothing in the style of Final Fantasy 14 is worn by this couple.
You can see what the dresses look like that will be worn during the ceremony and on which costumes from the game they are based. Everything is very opulent.
The wedding cake is not only designed in the Final Fantasy style, the couple also cuts it classically with weapon replicas from the MMORPG.
The couple cuts a Final Fantasy wedding cake with a sword.
The dishes served can be inspired by Final Fantasy 14 and are also arranged accordingly.
When does it start? Since May 22, interested couples can register for such a wedding. The ceremonies take place in Kobe, Japan, and the planning is done by the company Bridal Heart.
Bridal Heart plans with the couple how the wedding will proceed. It is even possible to rent one of three halls, depending on how many guests the couple wants to invite.
So it is possible to get married completely in the style of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.
What do you think? Do you find such a wedding pretty or exaggerated?
“What does the Nintendo Switch need? More superhero MMOs!” probably thought Daybreak Games and released DC Universe Online on Nintendo’s hybrid console. The game is already eight years old and will be released on Switch in summer 2019.
What MMO is it? As Daybreak Games recently announced, the superhero MMO DC Universe Online will be released on Nintendo Switch in summer 2019.
The online game was first released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and PC. Later, DC Universe Online was also released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The studio developed DC Universe Online as a subsidiary of Sony under the name Sony Online Entertainment. After Sony sold the studio and it was renamed Daybreak, the way was cleared for DC Universe Online to be available on other consoles.
Among other things, players can meet Superman.
What is DC Universe Online? The MMO is a free-to-play game set in the DC comic universe. Expansions, various power sets, and other optional content are sold in packages for real money. There is also a premium membership, which costs €14.99 per month on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
What do players say?On the Nintendo Switch subreddit, the news of the release of DC Universe Online for the console is received very positively. Some former players expressed that they would check back if the MMO attracted new players on Switch.
In general, an MMO for Nintendo’s console is well received. According to some players, the Switch currently has too little MMO content anyway. The largest MMOs for the system, Dragon Quest X and Phantasy Star Online 2, have only been released in Japan so far.
To find Jonesy in Fortnite , you should look behind a fence and in the sewers. We will show you the locations.
What is it about? New tasks are regularly unlocked for the City Chaos mode in Fortnite. For two of the tasks, you need to find Jonesy. He is hiding on the new map that Epic Games has unlocked for this mode. We will show you where to search.
Find Jonesy hidden behind a fence
For the first task, you need to track down Jonesy behind a fence. This involves a life-sized cutout of the Jonesy character.
Where should you search? After starting City Chaos, speed down the first hill and then turn right around the corner. Now keep to the left side. There is a side street marked by a low wooden fence. Let the fence slow you down and go into the side street.
At the end of this alley, you can see an area separated by a metal fence. Open the door and interact with the cutout. Task completed.
Find Jonesy in the sewer
You will complete this task almost on the go. We will show you which path you need to take to complete the task.
Where should you search? Start a round of City Chaos in Fortnite. As the name of the challenge suggests, you will find Jonesy in the sewer. You will run down the first hill, turn right, and run down this one too. Past the food trucks, where you need to dance for another task.
By the trucks, turn right again and now walk straight down the hill in the middle. This will lead you directly to the entrance of the sewer.
Jump into this entrance now. Then simply follow the forks in the sewer. At the very end, Jonesy will be waiting for you behind some bars.
If you zoom past him, the task will be considered completed.
The Twitch streamer Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris reportedly turned down a major sponsored deal from a brand, according to his brother. While the deal would have been lucrative, the launch of WoW Classic was more important to Sodapoppin. He definitely did not want to miss it.
Where does this information come from? The streamer and lawyer Ryan “BJPOffical” Willet is the brother of the well-known streamer Sodapoppin (2.4 million followers).
Willet wants to emphasize that his brother is not a “sellout”; he is not someone who bends for money. Sodapoppin and other big streamers are often accused of doing anything for money and sponsor deals.
The lawyer says: “If my brother wanted to sell out, he would have had a big opportunity here.”
On the contrary, Sodapoppin regularly turns down such deals.

Here’s how it went down: Ryan Willet says he reviewed the deal as his little brother’s lawyer and it was excellent. It wasn’t just a big check involved, but it was also a really cool product. Ryan encouraged his little brother to take the deal.
But Sodapoppin said, “Ryan, I can’t do this. It’s the first day WoW Classic is released. I can’t miss that.”
What product is it about? The lawyer does not specify.
On reddit, people are discussing the deal and speculating about what the “major brand” deal could be that Sodapoppin turned down.
and other streamers also enjoy talking about what offers come their way – even though they shouldn’t really be talking about it.
A user on reddit believes: The deal could be a commercial for a virtual reality headset that is about to come out.
Another streamer, Pokelawls, has already talked about it and was himself excited about the headset.
It’s noticeable that some popular streamers on Twitch grew up with WoW and that the game seemingly holds a special place in the hearts of Twitch streamers.
How is it going for Sodapoppin? He benefits from the launch of WoW Classic. According to Twitchmetrics, his streams of WoW Classic have had around 35,000 to 50,000 viewers on average. Hence, he is likely to be one of the big winners of WoW Classic on Twitch, alongside WoW streamer Asmongold.
For the upcoming Season of Opulence, Destiny 2 is making some changes to its in-game shop. Bungie has now detailed these changes.
What is the Eververse? The Eververse is the in-game shop of Destiny 2. There, Guardians can purchase numerous cosmetic items for the in-game currency Glimmer or real-money currency Silver, such as:
Ghosts
Ships
Sparrows
Weapon and armor ornaments
or various cosmetic effects
Players can also redeem Glimmer Engrams earned through progression, allowing them to randomly obtain most Eververse items.
For Season 7, Tess Everis’s shop will receive a new look and some radical changes, as the developers revealed in the current “This Week at Bungie” (TWaB) blog.
Starting June 4th, there will be four major changes in Destiny 2’s in-game shop.
Direct purchase for all items: Every new Eververse item can be directly purchased in the shop with Silver or Glimmer in Season 7. New items are expected to appear weekly (with the reset). Additionally, most of these offers will be time-limited.
Content of Glimmer Engrams: The theme of the Glimmer Engrams earned through gameplay progression in the Season of Opulence is “Greatest Hits.” Accordingly, Glimmer Engrams in Season 7 will contain a collection of popular fan-favorites. The focus will be on “The Best from Year One”.
If popular emotes like “Spicy Noodle Soup” or the “Selfie” have remained unavailable to you, you will have the chance to complete your collection with missing cosmetics from the first year during Season 7.
Eververse Armor Sets: Previously, only individual parts of the Eververse armor were available either in the shop itself or through Glimmer Engrams. With the start of Season 7, complete armor sets will be offered in a single package for each Guardian class.
Individual armor pieces can still be purchased with Glimmer when they appear in the shop or are obtained from Glimmer Engrams. These armor pieces will always have fixed perks – even for duplicates.
Improved Interface: Bungie has also worked on the visual presentation of the in-game shop. The location of Tess hasn’t changed, but when Guardians visit her in the Season of Opulence, they will find a revised menu.
Special items will be presented as “Featured” on the main page in Season 7. This feature will change with each weekly reset.
The majority of these offers will only be available for a limited time, ensuring that Tess’s inventory is constantly refreshed. However, some of these items will return at a later date.
What do you think about the overhaul of the Eververse? Are you looking forward to the cosmetic highlights from Year 1?
Is your PC sufficient to play the new addon Shadowbringers for the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With a newly released benchmark tool, you can find out – and even create a hero for the addon Shadowbringers.
What does the benchmark offer? It is frustrating when you buy a new game and then realize that it does not run well on your computer and stutters.
Even more frustrating is when the main game ran well so far, but the new addon does not because it offers more effects and generally more detailed graphics.
To avoid this frustration, you can use the benchmark tool for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers to find out before purchasing whether your PC is suitable for the addon. You can set different resolutions and detail levels.

How does the tool work? You create a level 80 character with the program. After that, you can see how the new abilities and equipment from Shadowbringers look.
This way, you can see how your PC handles the game. Especially at high levels, you use abilities that cause many effects. This can strain an older PC. With the tool, you will find out whether your computer can still display Shadowbringers well when it comes to level 80 heroes on the screen.
What is special about the benchmark? With the tool, you create a hero that you can design as you wish. It is then possible to transfer this character into the MMORPG by having its appearance saved from the benchmark.
However, only its appearance, not its level and equipment. You will have to earn those in the online game yourself. Nevertheless, it is a good way to combine the test with something useful.
Where can you download the program? You can download the benchmark tool directly from the Final Fantasy XIV website. The file is about 1.98 GB in size.
After the download, you unzip the file and then run the .exe.
With the benchmark tool for Final Fantasy 14, you also create a hero for the addon Shadowbringers.
The Community is Already Busy Creating Heroes
How is the tool received in the community? The fans of Final Fantasy XIV are already busy creating their characters with the tool and posting the creations online on Reddit.
Especially interesting are the new races Viera and Hrothgar, as fans can now see how the characters look and how they can be customized even before the release of Shadowbringers. Additionally, the new items and skills can be seen in advance, which makes players eager to finally play the addon.
The community on Reddit is certainly having fun with the benchmark for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers.
In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) had a feature on the Public Test Server (PTS) that has not yet made it to the release version. Many players are eagerly waiting for it.
What kind of feature is it? If you are currently playing the new ESO expansion Elsweyr and watching the chat, you will frequently hear a message: “Hey guys, where do I get the daily quests for dragon hunting?”
Currently, lots of dragons are flying around and those who help to take them down get a good amount of experience points and valuable items from the creatures. However, a quest tied to dragon slaying seems to be missing.
This is all the more curious because there is an NPC in the game who points to another character that pays bounties for dead dragons. However, nobody has found this “Battlereeve Tannerline” yet, at least not in the release version of Elsweyr.
All the work feels a bit pointless right now.
Where is the NPC for the dragon dailies? Curiously, Tannerline has indeed existed in the game in the past. On the Public Test Server, where you could extensively test Elsweyr, the character was present and cheerfully handed out daily quests, making dragon hunting even more profitable.
However, in the release version of Elsweyr, Tannerline and the dailies for dragons are not present. This is not a bug but intentional. The patch notes for the Elsweyr release state that the dragon dailies are currently disabled and will be activated later after the launch of Elsweyr. This also applies to the Pellitine style motif.
When will the dailies come to the game? Besides the vague indication “After the Elsweyr launch,” there is no further information from ZeniMax regarding the dragon dailies. However, by the console launch on June 4 (which is also the official release date of the expansion), the dailies are expected to be in the game.
Luckily, dragons at least bring their regular loot.
How do players react? Most players in the ESO forum react with understanding to the delay and were rather confused because they had not read the patch notes and were therefore looking for the daily NPC in vain.
Since there is also an achievement for dragon hunting, many players wish that at least some mention should be made in the game that this achievement is currently unavailable.
Will a major fan wish be coming to the cinema soon? Rumors suggest that the role-playing game Knights of the Old Republic is set to be adapted into a film. The MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic is based on the game.
What is this rumor about? Several US media outlets are reporting today that a new Star Wars trilogy is currently in the works. This is not new. However, the films are reportedly going to deal with a topic that gamers have been wishing for some time: Knights of the Old Republic.
The rumor itself has been circulating the internet for quite a while. However, the signs seem to be intensifying now.
Responsible for the script of the new trilogy is said to be Laeta Kalogridis, who most recently produced Alita: Battle Angel. She is reportedly close to finishing her screenplay.
Kalogridis is said to have received the assignment for the script back in 2018. The project is supposedly unrelated to the Star Wars trilogy being developed by Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.

What is KotOR? Knights of the Old Republic was released in 2003 by BioWare. The role-playing game takes place around 4000 years before the events of the previous Star Wars films.
In KotOR, players embody a character who can align with the light or the dark side of the Force. The goal is to confront Darth Malak, who attempts to conquer the galaxy with the help of the mysterious Star Forge, which can create a gigantic fleet of ships in a very short time.
Especially the role-playing elements and the story – particularly the identity of the player’s character revealed later in the game – were well-received by players. KotOR is one of the most popular Star Wars games.
The sequel Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords was released in 2004/2005 by Obsidian Entertainment.
Satele Shan in Star Wars: The Old Republic is a descendant of Bastila Shan from KotOR.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is based on the era and story of the KotOR games.
Find the letters O-N-F-I-R-E in City Chaos in Fortnite. We will show you how to easily complete the Downtown Drop challenge and unlock the skateboard skin.
What’s it about? In Fortnite, a game mode is currently active for a limited time. The City Chaos comes with several tasks that are gradually unlocked. One of the new tasks is “Find the letters O-N-F-I-R-E”. We will show you the locations.
Locations of O-N-F-I-R-E in Chaos City
In the following images, you will see the 6 different locations of the letters. Which letter you see depends on the order in which you collect them. The locations will always remain the same.
Find the “O”: You can find the letter “O” shortly after the start of the City Chaos map. Slide down the first hill straight ahead and stop next to the basketball court. There, you will find the letter.
Find the “F”: From the food trucks, go back a little along the path towards the start. On the left side, you will find a tunnel entrance with a yellow railing beside it. Go down the tunnel.
In the first room, you will find the sought “F”.
Find the “I”: After the “F”, follow the path down and then turn left at the only opportunity. You will pass by a burst water pipe. Continue down the hill, but keep to the left side. There, you will find a truck in the corner, behind which the “I” is waiting.
Find the “R”: After this truck with the “I”, continue down the street. Keep to the right side now. You will come to a green-red crane. The sought letter is located at the tile that the crane is holding.
Here, an “E” is displayed for us, because we collected this letter last. If you follow the order here in the guide, you will see an “R”.
Find the “E”: After the crane, continue along the path to a kind of elevator. It will shoot you up towards the start. Once you reach the top, you should immediately try to stop. Then turn around and look towards the elevator. You will notice a red car. The sought letter is located here.
If you visit this location last, you should see an “E” here.
Once you have collected all the letters, the inscription “On Fire” will appear on your screen. Then you have completed the challenge.
If you want, you can also follow this YouTube guide for the letters. Then you will know exactly where to search.

With Hunter’s Arena, we expect a new battle royale game that offers an interesting feature: You can enhance your character and skills through RPG elements. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4, is set to be released on Steam in 2019, and now shows the first trailers.
What makes it special? How you approach the fights determines how you progress in the game. Skills play a big role here. As in an action RPG, you can improve your character and learn new skills. These will give you advantages in battles, but always come with risks:
It’s possible to play cautiously in confrontations and use “safe” skills that you know will get you to your goal in some way.
However, it’s also possible to rely on new abilities which might lead to powerful combos, but also carry the risk that your opponent counters strongly and deals a lot of damage.
The entire principle is based on “Risk versus Reward”. Taking risks in battles can lead to powerful combos that promise a quick victory. Those who play more cautiously will progress more slowly but more safely.

This allows you to gather EXP to improve your character
In addition, you can challenge another player in a day mode. Other modes are also planned.
An evolution of Battle Royale? More RPG elements, through which your hero can level up and improve, could represent an interesting innovation in battle royale games.
RPG elements are used in many games, even in shooters they are becoming more common. Therefore, it seems only logical to evolve the gameplay principle by incorporating RPG features into battle royale titles.
When will Hunter’s Arena be released? The online game is set to be released on PC via Steam in 2019. The developers have not yet announced a specific release date.
