Bethesda talks in a new preview about the upcoming patch regarding changes to the weapon and combat system of Fallout 76. Fans are very excited about this, even though some of them didn’t even know they were missing these changes.
What will change? In a new “From the Vault” Bethesda discusses improvements in combat and controls. The focus is primarily on changes that aim to provide more quality and a smoother gameplay experience.
The adjustments bring innovations to Fallout 76, as seen in some other shooters and battle royale games, such as Apex Legends.
The changes in detail
What changes in the combat system: A lot of changes will be made to all weapons, which will affect the combat system:
Players can display the damage caused by weapons. This option can be set separately for adventure and survival mode.
The animation for drawing or stowing a weapon can be interrupted by firing the weapon.
Aiming with iron sights or scopes will be significantly faster.
Reloading will be interrupted by sprinting, and you can sprint immediately after firing, making escaping easier and movement a bit more dynamic.
Additionally, it will be removed that looking around with a controller after firing a weapon is eliminated. This is intended to improve controller handling and is particularly interesting for players on PS4 and Xbox One.
Aiming and looking around will be easier, especially on consoles.
What changes to the weapons: In addition to the changes to the combat system, many weapons will receive adjustments. They will receive reticles for first-person view.
With the reticles, aiming and hitting should become easier and more dynamic. Players will spend less time aligning their shots on the target.
When do the changes come? No specific date has been mentioned yet. The changes will come with Patch 10 “in June.”
How the changes will come
The upcoming improvements have already been discussed on reddit. All new features have been well received and many players see them as a step in the right direction. Especially the display of damage numbers excites the fans:
I didn’t know until now that I wanted damage numbers. Can’t wait.

The changes have even sparked rumors about new game modes. At least one new mode is expected to arrive with Nuclear Winter, the next big update for Fallout 76, after Wild Appalachia is now complete. A player suspects a deathmatch mode.
More about Fallout 76 will be revealed by Bethesda at E3 2019. The press conference will take place in the night from Sunday, June 9 to Monday, June 10 at 2:30 AM:
The legendary tournament Friday Fortnite is back for a short guest appearance. Today, on Friday, the 7th of June, a team consisting of Twitch star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and YouTuber Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg will participate. The organizer promotes the “biggest gaming stars.” They will hardly have a chance of winning, but will certainly draw massive views. We will show you when and where you need to tune in.
What is Friday Fortnite? This is a community tournament organized by the controversial content creator Keemstar. Due to bizarre circumstances the tournament is back for three Fridays after it was initially displaced by Epic’s official tournaments.
Keemstar is primarily focused on views across all channels on YouTube and Twitch for the tournament. In the last tournament on Friday, the 31st of May, 32 teams of 2 Fortnite players participated, showcasing the tournament on their respective channels.
The 2 Biggest Gaming Stars from YouTube and Twitch in One Team
This is the special gag: Last time, Ninja, the biggest Twitch streamer in the world, participated as a player and secured 3rd place out of 32 participating duos with partner Reverse2k. 1.8 million people watched Ninja’s Twitch stream during the Friday Fortnite tournament.
Even the tweet that they would both play in one team has over 1.15 million views.
Ninja is the “face” of Twitch and Fortnite.
Does PewDiePie really know about Fortnite? Not reallyumggaming) seems to favor them, they will face absolute elite opponents at the latest in the semifinals.
In 2.2, a pro like Myth could be waiting for them, who can take on Ninja.
But it will be a big PR gag and could show even better numbers than the last tournament.
How do the teams play against each other? In Friday Fortnite, one team invites the other to a squad lobby and then starts a match.
The teams compete in these 100-player random lobbies and try to achieve as many kills as possible. Two rounds are played.
The team with the most kills wins. So it’s about playing aggressively.
Kamo is considered one of the strongest players in Germany.
Some of the Top Players from Fortnite vs. Famous Faces from YouTube and Twitch
Who else is participating? 32 teams will compete. With a few exceptions, all names are already confirmed.
The Fortnite elite from Europe is represented in the duos:
Also, the winners from last Friday will play for the world championship in Fortnite this year.
One of the most successful streamers in Fortnite: Myth
Additionally, numerous well-known content creators who have varying levels of experience with Fortnite will participate, such as:
High Distortion, he holds the kill record in Fortnite.
Myth, number 3 among Fortnite streamers on Twitch.
The most famous name missing is Tfue. There’s a reason for that: Friday Fortnite only takes place because he sued his clan. FaZe then decided to
This is what it’s about: The official announcement of FIFA 20 actually only contains two pieces of information: The start time of EA Play and a “game-changing Announcement”. What it is about, of course, remains open.
What is the announcement about?
In the community, the speculation started immediately. What surprise will EA reveal on Saturday? The only clue one can rely on right now: A six-second teaser on Twitter.

The teaser includes the date of EA Play and a stylized football field that changes color, as well as an unknown logo. This logo can also be seen in the background of the announcement page and is currently the focal point of all possible theories:
What does the new logo stand for?
Update 07.06.19, 5:00 PM: EA has released another teaser for FIFA 20 on Twitter. Here, brief clips of people playing football around the world can be seen. The motto of the teaser: The Stadium is anywhere.

This is what players suspect: On reddit, there are several theories about what the announcement could be about. Some make more sense than others – and officially, none of them is correct. Nevertheless, it is worth taking a look at the theories, also to see what players wish for.
A new five-a-side mode: One theory focuses mainly on the new logo. It could be inspired by the Roman numeral “V”, which means “5”. In the thread about the new teaser, this is one of the theories that seems plausible: FIFA 20 could have a new five-a-side mode. But in what form?
Most players suspect a variation of the Pro Club mode towards five player teams. Another possibility is that it could be the long-desired street mode, which would also be played in smaller teams.
Some also refer to the color-changing football field from the teaser and see it as a hint towards indoor football. A skill moves-based mode on a small field? Sounds good. But would it really be “game-changing”?
An extremely improved career mode: One point that has been raised often in the past is the career mode. Here, some Reddit users hope for a significant improvement and believe that the announcement refers to it. Especially since “The Journey” seems to have come to an end for now. For many, a new career mode would be a real reason to buy.
A mixture of both modes could bring a new single-player experience while fulfilling the wishes of many players. But at the same time, many fear that this will remain a wishful thinking: They suspect that EA will continue to focus more on the lucrative Ultimate Team rather than building a competitor mode. Also, no conclusions can be drawn about the logo for now.
Players have long hoped for a complete overhaul of the career mode.
Could the change be bigger?
A new engine: Some users like “Stepanovic” and “TheKingcrawler” point out that “game-changing” should refer to the entire game – and not just to a single mode. Such a change could concern the engine.
Notably, the teaser for FIFA 20 lacks the logo of the Frostbite engine, which was used to develop FIFA 19. Is the new “V” logo the emblem of a new engine?
Last year, the Champions League was the big innovation – what can we expect in FIFA 20?
However, the assumption is that EA will likely switch to a new engine only with the new console generation. But this would be a massive change that would likely alter a lot about the gameplay. Many players have been wanting this for a long time.
As the FIFA series is known to be offered on most platforms, it seems likely that FIFA 20 could also be available via Stadia. Could the “game-changing announcement” refer to the missing EA title for the Stadia launch being FIFA 20? The mystery should be solved on Saturday:
In one of his streams about WoW: Classic , streamer Summit1g was quite annoyed. He was locked out of a dungeon.
Who is it about? Summit1g is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. On the live streaming platform, he has over 3.8 million followers. He is a variety streamer. He does not focus on just one game, but rather on what is currently popular.
Recently, he was playing roleplay in GTA 5, and now WoW: Classic is on the agenda. Selected players can currently try out the beta of this WoW version.
Why is he frustrated? After several attempts, Summit1g cannot enter a dungeon. He wanted to comfortably collect experience points.
After his death in the dungeon, he respawns as a ghost at a graveyard near the dungeon. As a ghost, he has to run back to the instance, resurrect, and then march through the entrance. But that doesn’t work, and it frustrates him.

“It’s not easier to get experience points, and I’m locked out. Oh my God. Fuck. Maybe because I’m invisible?” he asks during one of his last attempts to enter the dungeon. After that, he gets killed by other players.
“I just want to get into the damn dungeon,” he adds.
This is how his chat trolls him: When his viewers notice how annoyed Summit1g is because he is locked out of the instance, they start to troll. In the chat, you can read
Just run in with “sprint”
Go into the instance
Hey, why not just try to walk into the instance?
Summit1g responds to the chat and says annoyed: “Run in? My God, Chat. The only reason I’m here is that I CANNOT RUN IN. Damn, that’s the dumbest concept that World of Warcraft has ever come up with.”

What mechanic is holding him back? In the first video, you can see the message above his webcam in the WoW chat: “You have entered too many instances recently.”
In World of Warcraft, players can only enter a limited number of dungeons per hour. Once the limit is reached, the character simply runs through the instance portal instead of loading into the dungeon.
It takes an hour after entering the first instance for this timer to reset. As long as that is the case, like Summit1g in the shown videos, you are locked out of instances.
Bungie aims to drastically change the way the armor system of Destiny 2 works with the new expansion Shadowkeep, including mods and perks. But how? Here is what we know so far.
This is set to change in the fall: With the announcement of the upcoming Fall expansion Shadowkeep, Bungie revealed that Destiny 2 will receive more RPG elements.
One example of this is the armor system, which they plan to overhaul significantly in the fall. With Armor 2.0, the name of the feature, players will finally be able to customize their gear the way they want.
Armor 2.0 – How the armor system of Destiny 2 changes with Shadowkeep
Here is how the armor system is now: Currently, pieces of armor offer limited room for individual customization—whether visually or in terms of their attributes.
It often happens that you have a set that you either like aesthetically or one that has the right stats for your individual playstyle. Both rarely match.
Therefore, many guardians often choose armor pieces that perform better rather than those that they find more visually appealing. That is set to change soon.
This is Armor 2.0: This new system will come into play with the Shadowkeep expansion. Armor 2.0 allows players to equip any mod they have unlocked into any piece of armor.
The pieces of armor now serve merely as empty shells that can be customized according to personal preferences using various modifications. There seem to no longer be fixed mods or perks—only multiple mod slots for different attribute categories.
Helmet customization options as part of Armor 2.0
When selecting one of these mod slots, all mods available for that specific slot will be displayed to the player and can be activated there.
Thus, it ultimately resembles a type of transmog system where you can apply the appearance of an item with strong attributes to the look of your choice—where the appearance can be derived from any item of the same category that you have already found.
However, the showcased images depicted a legendary item with a total of four mod slots. Whether exotic gear offers more or fewer slots and can thus be individualized to some extent is currently unknown. It is conceivable that Exotics will then have fixed attributes altogether. There is still no definitive answer on that.
By the way: In this context, attributes Strength, Discipline, and Intellect from Destiny 1 are apparently coming back, which could give the entire system additional depth. These can be clearly seen in the images.
This new feature will also be important: As part of the broader customization options and more RPG elements, artifacts are also set to play an important role. However, these have changed significantly compared to Destiny 1.
They now function as an item on which various perks and bonuses can be unlocked, allowing you to further adapt your character to your personal playstyle.
This is what an artifact menu looks like
The perks are divided into several tiers. At each tier, multiple perks can be activated, which presumably need to be found first. With increasing levels, the perks appear to become more powerful.
According to Bungie, perks of the last tier should come quite close to that of an Exotic. Some of the visible icons suggest bonuses for cooldown reduction or shorter reload times for certain weapon types.
Furthermore, artifacts seem to be season-bound or must be leveled up during a season to unlock higher perk tiers. As one of the images states for an attribute: “Will be disabled at the end of Season 8.”.
Whether there will be just one artifact with fixed seasonal perk sets or several artifacts with various perk and bonus combinations is currently not definitively known. However, Bungie refers to artifacts in the plural in the video.
Even though only superficial details are known so far, the changes look promising. It will be interesting to see what else Armor 2.0 can do and how exactly this system is structured.
The prices for the best Azerite armor in World of Warcraft have been revealed. They cost multiples of what players can currently earn.
Also in Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, Azerite armor plays a major role again. After all, these items have the powerful Azerite traits that function almost like additional set bonuses or small talents.
With the upcoming update, the maximum item level of items will increase further, making new Azerite armor necessary for the heroes. This armor can be obtained from various sources, but the most reliable is purchasing from a vendor.
What does the new Azerite armor cost? In Season 3 (in Patch 8.2), players can also buy Azerite armor from the Astral beings, namely with Titan Residuum. The price increase is quite steep, as you can compare in these two tables.

Costs for upcoming equipment (Patch 8.2 – Season 3)
Titan Residuum for disassembling: Players receive Titan Residuum when they disassemble unwanted Azerite armor in the Scrapper. Depending on the item level of the item, there is a smaller or larger amount. Also, a substantial amount of residuals is available in the weekly “Mythic+” chest.
By the way, Titan Residuum will remain with the new patch. Those who want can start farming now to have a small stock. However, reaching 200,000 Titan Residuum is currently impossible and will likely only be achievable with Patch 8.2.
Will the amount of Residuum received increase? It is still unclear whether players will receive more Titan Residuum in Patch 8.2 than before. That would only make sense, as otherwise it would be difficult to acquire the items. Furthermore, Blizzard significantly increased the amount of Titan Residuum received when transitioning from Season 1 to Season 2. Something similar is likely to happen with Patch 8.2.
Heart of Azeroth requires no upgrades: The positive aspect of the whole situation is that unlocking the new Azerite abilities no longer requires farming for the Heart of Azeroth. The requirements for unlocking remain at the same level as in Patch 8.1.5, so below level 50. The Heart of Azeroth only needs to be leveled for unlocking the new essences.
Do you think it is good that Blizzard sticks to the system? Or is it too much farming effort that needs to be managed?
Murder can happen in so many ways. With our quiz, you’ll find out which killer you are in Dead by Daylight.

To avoid trouble, the developer behind the online shooter Fortnite, Epic Games, is happy to reach for the wallet. After a planning error, Epic casually postpones the World Cup qualification for Fortnite and adds $2 million in prize money to calm things down preventively.
In the Pro-Am tournament after the E3 2019 , celebrities compete alongside Fortnite players – it’s about $3 million for a good cause: a fun spectacle
In the week 10 of the World Cup qualification, the Fortnite pros grit their teeth to secure the last ticket for the Fortnite World Cup in Duo mode. This is no joke, but a tough competition, as only 10 Duos will make it through that weekend
Some of the most famous and popular Fortnite streamers in the world sounded the alarm because Ninja (No. 1 on Twitch) and Tfue (No. 3 on Twitch) were booked for the Fortnite Pro-Am tournament but desperately wanted to play in the Fortnite qualifiers.
Because in their first four chances, the Duos “Ninja/Reverse2” and “Tfue/Cloak” had failed to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup.

In addition to the Battle Pass, attractive skins, like this one that came out at Christmas and is apparently inspired by Elsa, the Ice Queen from the movie Frozen, are responsible.
During the Christmas season, Fortnite remained calm while prepared events took place.
Epic uses money cleverly to strengthen market position
Does Epic do this often? There is a pattern emerging; Epic has already invested hefty sums from Fortnite in 2019 to gain advantages:
Epic finances a “Mega Sale” in this store at their own expense
Epic is offering scholarships worth millions of dollars to lure development teams away from the Unity engine to Unreal Engine – the competitor calls it bribery
Some even say: Epic right now doesn’t even know what to do with all that money. For the current Fortnite season, $100 million in prize money is planned, which presumably has not yet been distributed.
On Reddit, someone says: Epic has probably realized that the year doesn’t even have enough weeks to always distribute $1 million per tournament.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the developers have promptly removed the new Storm Flipper from the game for eSports. The new item is probably too strong for tournaments, but optimal for fun rounds.
Which item is it? The Storm Flipper was newly introduced with Patch 9.20. It is a type of bomb that either creates a storm or, if you throw it into the storm, establishes a safe zone. This lasts for 20 seconds and serves as a good offensive as well as defensive item.
What is the problem with the new item? The radius and effect duration are really large, which greatly disrupts gameplay. Thus, the Storm Flipper was not well received by professionals, especially since one of the highly contested Fortnite qualification rounds for the World Championship is taking place this weekend.

Especially in the endgame, having a large additional storm zone or a safe harbor in the storm is quite extreme and upends many tactics and habits.
Controversial item may return after World Championship qualifiers
This is what the developers have done: Shortly after the release of the Storm Flipper, it was temporarily removed from the loot lists of competitive formats by the developers. Therefore, you will not see the Storm Flipper in the World Championship qualification rounds this weekend.
How are the fans reacting? The professionals welcome Epic’s decision, but wonder on Reddit why the item was even introduced into the game in this seemingly completely overpowered state:
“Someone has to ask this question: How could you not realize how ridiculously overpowered this item is before you released it?”
Is the Storm Flipper possibly returning to eSports? Furthermore, Epic’s statement only indicates that the Storm Flipper is “temporarily” disabled in the tournament lists.
It is thus quite possible that the item will be back in the competitive lists after the World Championship qualifier weekend and could also be regularly included in the next qualifier round or even in the World Championship in July.
Epic still rejects permanently separate loot lists for casual and competitive.
Recently, Tigrex was confirmed as a new monster for the Iceborne DLC of Monster Hunter World. What kind of monster is this? Why are so many excited about it? Let us introduce you to this top predator.
With the announcement of Tigrex, Capcom has delighted many long-time fans. Many know the aggressive dragon from previous installments and can hardly wait to hunt its new version in Monster Hunter World.
This is why Tigrex is so popular: Tigrex holds a special place in the hearts of many Monster Hunter fans. For one, Tigrex has been featured as the flagship monster since 2007 in almost every installment of the series, starting from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 2.
On the other hand, it is one of the first, elementless dragons that players encountered. For many, it was one of the dragons that first set itself apart from other monsters. It is also described as extremely aggressive.
In the Monster Hunter subreddit, user Reshkroom1153 answers the question of its popularity as follows:
Tigrex is supposed to represent pure power in a game otherwise revolving around dragons that use fire, ice, and electricity.
TheDeadlyPianist describes it similarly:
For most of us, he was the first [dragon] that stood out from the standard wyverns. I have been playing since the demo of the first PS2 game and he was a surprise, a challenge. To this day, there is no monster that has been as “in your face” or so aggressive. He is unrestrained rage.
To these points, there is also the monster’s design, which many simply find really cool. As it is visually adapted to the beautiful graphics of Monster Hunter World, it now looks even more impressive:
A screenshot from the new story trailer.
Now, Tigrex has also found its way into the new world.
However, those who are new to Monster Hunter World may not be very familiar with Tigrex yet. Therefore, we provide you with the most important information here.
This is Tigrex: Capcom describes Tigrex as an “Apex Predator” or top predator.
Tigrex belongs to the flying wyverns and can reach a length of between 13 and 26 meters.
It was one of the first elementless monsters and is weak against thunder and dragon.
Although Tigrex is a flying wyvern, it is relatively rarely seen in the air. Its wings have gradually transformed back into forelegs. As an elementless monster, it relies on raw power in battle against its enemies.
The dragon can adapt to various habitats, whether they be jungles, polar regions, or deserts. Therefore, it is not surprising that Tigrex ultimately found its way into the new world with Iceborne.
Its in-game description reads:
InMonster Hunter Freedom 2/Unite: Flying wyverns of primitive origin. Prone to violence, knows how to use its legs, claws, and teeth brutally. Occupies a wide area and is said to hunt Pepe in the mountains.
In Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: Flying wyverns, whose primitive origin is obvious. They are violent and fight incredibly cruelly with their claws, jaws, and pronounced limbs. They claim large territories and have even been seen at the Frostsea Trail.
You can get a brief impression of how brutal Tigrex is in this gameplay excerpt from WeissGaming, which shows a territory battle between Tigrex and Odogaron:
https://youtu.be/GiScBvnHfjk
When can the hunt begin? Tigrex arrives with the large Iceborne DLC for Monster Hunter World. This will be released on September 6. Until then, hunters must be patient.
Respawn has teased a new legend for Apex Legends with a clip lasting only a few milliseconds. However, this brief moment was enough to assure fans of who is coming, as this legend is already known from leaks.
This is what Respawn has shown: In a tweet on June 6, 2019, Respawn announced its participation in the “EA Play” event just before the E3 press conferences. In the same tweet, the official channel also immediately displayed a short clip.
The clip features a yet-to-be-officially-introduced legend in a white jumpsuit with an orange jacket, rubber gloves, and cables. Lightning is flickering between the hands. Fans are clear: This is Wattson.

Who is Wattson? Wattson has already been mentioned and teased multiple times by Twitch streamer Shroud. He claimed to have been able to play Wattson while testing Apex Legends before the official release.
He also compared Wattson multiple times to the new legend Octane, which was implemented with the first season of Apex Legends. Compared to Octane, Wattson is “cool, but not that extreme,” as Wattson does not rely as much on speed.
Wattson is more situational and defensive, not as universally usable as the fast legends Octane or Wraith. He – or she – will definitely be the tenth legend of Apex Legends.

What can Wattson do? The abilities of Wattson revolve around electricity and traps according to some leaks. Data miners have thus far found hints for several abilities:
a skill that could charge or enhance a shield
a Tesla trap that shocks and possibly stuns enemies
a currently unknown passive
Unfortunately, there is no more detailed description of the abilities yet. However, at least the Tesla trap seems plausible, as Wattson is involved with electricity according to the brief clip.
The stream linked in the tweet, however, will start on June 8 at 7 PM. We have embedded it below for you. Whether further information about Wattson and the second season will come beforehand is still unknown.

On the EA Sports Twitter channel, FIFA 20 was officially announced. The new game will be presented during the EA Play stream on the E3 weekend. We clarify the most important questions.
Update – The most important information about FIFA 20 can be found here:
This date FIFA 20 will be presented: EA Sports will officially present the new installment of the FIFA series on Saturday, June 8, 2019. The game will be shown via livestream, which you can follow on the EA website, YouTube, or Twitch.
This time, the stream runs: The EA Play stream begins at 6:15 PM German time with an opening show. In addition to FIFA, other games such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends, or Battlefield V will also be covered. The FIFA presentation is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM.
However, it does no harm to keep an eye on the EA site beforehand. Because: In the official announcement, a countdown is running, which ends on Saturday at 4:00 PM German time. If there is no mistake here, it is quite possible that EA will reveal some information ahead of the stream.
The countdown ends on Saturday at 4:00 PM German time. Will EA reveal information before the stream?
This has already been announced by EA: EA Sports released a short teaser for FIFA on Twitter. However, it only shows the title of the game, a triangular graphic, and a football field. Then follows the date of EA Play.

What is behind the graphic? The symbol also appears on the official FIFA 20 page but is not explained in more detail. EA also speaks of a “game-changing announcement.” What it is about is still open at this time.
What to expect in FIFA 20
This is what FIFA 20 wants to do differently: There is still not much official information. However, EA announced that it would revise several features that fans criticized in FIFA 19. These include:
the AI defensive behavior,
the Timed Finishing mechanic
and the chaining of tricks.
The community reacted with delight, that the criticism is being acknowledged. However, many had already wished for these changes in FIFA 19. All announced changes can be found here:
When will FIFA 20 be released? As usual, FIFA 20 is expected to be released at the end of September. Amazon has already listed the release of the Switch version for September 28, which EA has not yet confirmed. An official date should be provided on Saturday.
Which player will be on the cover? In FIFA 19, Cristiano Ronaldo was featured on the cover – at least at the beginning. Over the course of the season, he was, however, replaced by Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne, and Paulo Dybala. And who will grace the cover of FIFA 20?
There is still no official information here either. It is possible that this year’s installment will come with a surprise. A survey indicated that Heung-Min Son would be a favorite among fans. After Liverpool’s Champions League win, Mohamed Salah would also be a strong contender:
What new features are also expected? After the story mode “The Journey” with Alex Hunter came to an end in FIFA 19, a major mode is missing. Here, the “game-changing announcement” could play a role: Will FIFA 20 bring a completely new single-player mode? Or will we get a new story presented?
Furthermore, fans are hoping for even more content regarding teams, players, and co. High on the wish list is the hope for more “face scans” – that is the realistic representation of individual player faces. The community would also be pleased about a few new leagues:
Google announced new information about their streaming service Stadia last night. Rockstar is said to be collaborating with Stadia among other things. However, no game was mentioned. Will Google’s Stadia Red Dead Redemption 2 finally come to PC?
However, observant viewers may have spotted additional logos from studios and publishers, even though none of these games were presented yet. The logos of Rockstar, Capcom, and Electronic Arts were also seen in the stream, marked with an asterisk indicating that these publishers can release their content at their discretion.
In Rockstar’s case, this could mean that GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, or even the predecessor Red Dead Redemption, might be released via Google’s Stadia. Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2 are not yet available for PC, but could potentially be played on PC with Google’s upcoming service.
What is Stadia? Google Stadia is a gaming platform that can be accessed through various channels, including PC browsers or mobile devices. Google is foregoing hardware like Xbox One and PlayStation 4, intending to stream current games directly from the cloud to various devices.
Google Stadia is set to launch in November 2019. You can find more information about the service here:
PC release “no disadvantage”: At an investors’ conference last weekend, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that a PC release of Red Dead Redemption 2 would be a “layup.” This is a basketball metaphor for something that is easy to accomplish.
Zelnick further explained that there would be “no disadvantage to releasing the game on PC.”
However, he had no further comments on this topic. Zelnick often receives questions about the PC release of RDR2, but usually dodges them.
Why is there still no PC release? Even before the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 in October 2018, there were ongoing hints and rumors about a PC release. For instance, placeholder listings for a PC version of RDR2 were found at retailers, and a former programmer claimed to have worked on a PC version of the game.
The MMORPG Bless Online launched in 2018 with a lot of attention in Europe but failed to meet expectations. Now the game is closing its servers in another region, and things are not looking good in the West either.
What happened in Japan? Looking at the regions where Bless Online was released, it had the best run in Japan for a long time. The MMORPG was released there on November 2, 2017, and had some additional content that never made it to the West.
However, even in this region, Bless Online is coming to an end. From July 10, 2019, no new registrations will be accepted, and the servers will finally close on August 8, 2019.
The developers stated that they could no longer provide updates of the size that would help the game. Recently, there were only minimal content expansions and otherwise just improvements to the game systems.
How is Bless Online doing in other regions? Bless was released in Russia in December 2016. But already on May 25, 2017, just after about 6 months, Bless was taken offline there.
Few Players, Haven’t Heard Anything New for a Long Time
How many players does Bless have on Steam? In May 2019, according to Steamcharts, there were an average of 221 players playing Bless Online. At peak, there were 410 players. This continues a long downward trend.
The numbers are significantly below the release month of June, when an average of 8,548 players were online, and also behind the Free2Play release in November 2018, where at least 1,557 players played Bless Online.
What is currently happening in Bless? The declining player numbers can also be explained by the fact that there have been no major innovations in Bless Online for a long time.
While there are regular bug fixes and events, there haven’t been any significant updates in quite some time. On March 27, a balance patch was released, and mid-February saw the last new dungeon. Aside from that, not much happened in 2019.
What does the future hold for Bless? The current development in the West resembles that in Japan. In recent months, there have only been bug fixes and no real innovations.
Bless Unleashed as the Last Hope? Anyone who still wants to hold on to the basic gameplay of Bless can look forward to Bless Unleashed.
The MMORPG takes place in the same universe, but some time later. There are many similarities, but there are also said to be many improvements, as some testers report.
In Fortnite: Something big is happening in Battle Royale soon. The iceberg has partially collapsed and the monster is likely now free. What it is doing, however, remains unclear. Is something new coming to E3?
What is the deal with the monster? For some time now, something has been happening with the large iceberg at Polar Peaks. At the start of Season 9, a lava rock crashed there, and shortly after, players spotted a massive eye hiding behind the ice that follows the player.
Since then, players have been eagerly waiting to see when the monster, to which the eye belongs, will be released and what that means for Fortnite. It was probably not a Godzilla crossover with the new movie. But now there are hints of something else.
The mysterious eye in Polar Peak
Was there a cat in the iceberg?
Here are the hints about the monster: Dataminers have now found further clues about the nature of the monster in the ice:
This is what happened: After dataminers had already found some initial hints about the monster’s escape, the creature actually became free on June 6th. It has destroyed parts of the iceberg and the castle and left footprints near the former Greasy Grove.

No one has seen the monster, so we don’t know what it looks like, where it is right now, or what it intends to do.
That’s why the monster could be a cat: Several hints recently pointed to a cat monster that will soon be released from the ice. On the one hand, the name “Cattus” means nothing more than “cat” in Latin.
And then players report hearing a sort of meow when they approached the eye at Polar Peak. In the embedded video here, you can listen for yourself.
It is therefore quite conceivable that a new, major event, where you fight together against a huge monster, will take place at E3, thus giving Epic even more attention and players.
The Chalice of Opulence is a central feature of the new Season 7 of Destiny 2. But how does the Chalice actually work? How can you upgrade it and how do you earn the necessary Emperor’s Coins? How do you get more Runes and use them correctly? We answer all these questions in our comprehensive Chalice guide.
What is the Chalice of Opulence? With Season 7, Destiny has gained another 6-player activity in addition to the raids – The Menagerie. In this, you will prove your worth before Cabal Emperor Calus and can grab various loot in the Menagerie.
A key role is played by the so-called Chalice of Opulence. This is an item that you need to assemble and upgrade. After that, this Chalice will serve as a source for always better gear that you can earn through the Menagerie. According to Bungie, this is a new way to obtain the best gear in the game.
In this guide, we explain all you need to know about the Chalice of Opulence, its upgrades, the corresponding Runes, the new currency “Emperor’s Coins”, its loot and Rune mechanics, and how to use the Chalice.
Getting the Chalice of Opulence – Here’s how
This is how you get the Chalice: First, you need to actually get the Chalice. This is quite easy and basically self-explanatory.
First, visit the robot Benedict 90-44 in the Tower. He is now located in a new position, but he is marked for you with a quest marker.
You will receive the introductory quest for the Menagerie from him. This will get you to Power Level 690 (if you are not there yet) and lead you to the Chalice.
The quest will then take you to Nessus, where you should find Calus’ Barge. This is also marked and easy to find.
Speak to Werner 99-40 there and follow the simple quest steps to assemble the Chalice.
Once you have assembled the Chalice, you should upgrade it.

Upgrading the Chalice of Opulence – Here’s how
If you want to upgrade the Chalice, just follow these steps:
The first bounty “Glorious Harvest”: Once you have assembled the Chalice, you will receive a bounty from Werner 99-40 called Glorious Harvest. Grab it and complete it. For this, you need to generate Orbs of Light, gain experience, and master any challenge such as a strike – somewhere in the world of Destiny 2.
Treasure Hunt: If you have completed the bounty, you will receive an Imperial Treasure Map. This will tell you where to go – namely to Nessus. There you should recover a treasure. If you go to the planet view of Nessus, the location on the map is marked with a cross.
You can see how to get there in this video:

Using Runes: When you open the treasure chest, you will receive your first Rune. Werner 99-40 will ask you to insert it into the Chalice. Simply interact with the Chalice and place it in the corresponding slot (at the top).
Completing the Menagerie: Now you need to complete a round of Menagerie. Select the activity from the Nessus map by the Leviathan. Once you have successfully finished a match, you will inevitably unlock some triumphs. You can find these in the Triumph menu under Objectives/Sub-objectives/Menagerie. Redeem them and you will receive your first Emperor’s Coins, which you need for upgrading the Chalice and for quest progress.
The Upgrade: In the next step, Werner will ask you to upgrade the Chalice. Since you currently only have 1,000 Emperor’s Coins, you can only unlock one upgrade node of the Chalice – namely Power and Effect I at the bottom right in the Chalice view.
Chalice of Opulence in the menu view
The final step: Now you need to open a chest on Calus’ Barge. They are located on the rear deck of the ship. Opening one costs 5,000 Glimmer. Open one and speak to Werner again. Then you are done and can finally earn more Emperor’s Coins and further upgrade the Chalice according to your priorities.
This is how you earn Emperor’s Coins for the Chalice of Opulence
What are these coins all about? The Emperor’s Coins are essential for further upgrades of the Chalice. Each node that you want to unlock costs you a certain amount of this currency. Prices vary between 2,500 and 8,000 Emperor’s Coins.
But how do you get this currency? There are several ways:
One of the easiest methods is the bounties from Werner 99-40, which will allow you to receive more treasure chests. These contain additional Emperor’s Coins.
Another way to earn Emperor’s Coins is through the triumphs of the Menagerie, and there are quite a few. Check them out so you know what to do. The tasks range from eliminating a specific boss to using Runes to earning complete Menagerie weapon sets. Also, bounties from Werner unlock some triumphs.
If you have a lot of Glimmer, you can open additional chests for 5,000 Glimmer each on the back deck of the Nessus Barge. You can also get Emperor’s Coins there. Once you’ve opened them all, you’ll need to wait until the next reset.
Additionally, you can earn more Emperor’s Coins through a specific upgrade of the Chalice – namely through Power and Effect II (3,000 Emperor’s Coins). This will earn you an additional weekly reward in the completion chest of the Menagerie, and various playlist activities like strikes, PvP, or Gambit will now yield additional Emperor’s Coins.
The item “Imperial Wealth” (1,500 Glimmer + 10 legendary shards) from Werner 99-40 is also very helpful if you want to earn more Emperor’s Coins. This item significantly increases your chances of receiving Emperor’s Coins in Gambit, PvP, the Menagerie, or in Strikes – until you get them there.
Using the Chalice of Opulence correctly – Here’s how you determine your loot
This is how the Chalice mechanics work: After you have assembled the Chalice and made the first upgrade, you can insert additional Runes there and thus get loot by playing the Menagerie. At the end of a Menagerie match, you will receive equipment that you have somewhat determined through your Rune choice.
Each Rune has an influence on what kind of item you get and how its properties turn out – depending on the type and arrangement of Runes in the Chalice.
This is how you get Runes for the Chalice of Opulence
What are Runes all about? Runes are the most important ingredient on the way to new loot with the Chalice of Opulence. In short: No Runes, no good loot.
This is how you get Runes: You can earn Runes by
completing weekly bounties from Werner
opening the weekly chests on Calus’ Barge
using the Rune Finder – a new consumable item from Werner 99-40. This item increases your chance of scoring additional Runes in strikes, Gambit, or the Crucible after use. If other members of your fireteam activate the Rune Finder, the chance increases additionally.
unlocking the Chalice upgrade Rune Bonus (bottom middle in the Chalice view, 1,500 Glimmer + 10 legendary shards). This will give you additional Runes from bounties or through the Rune Finder.
The Chalice can hold up to three Runes at the same time. Once you have fresh Runes, you can socket them in various combinations into the Chalice. Then it’s back into the Menagerie to earn new items.
This is how you unlock more types of Runes for the Chalice of Opulence
This is what you need to do to unlock more types of Runes: You keep getting the same types of Runes and wonder why? To gain access to additional types of Runes – namely the red, green, and blue – you need to unlock the Chalice upgrades Rune Compatibility I-III. You can find them at the bottom left in the Chalice view. The prices are:
Rune Compatibility I – 2,500 Emperor’s Coins
Rune Compatibility II – 3,500 Emperor’s Coins
Rune Compatibility III – 6,000 Emperor’s Coins
All Runes for the Chalice of Opulence – This is what they do
What can the different Runes actually do? Depending on the combination of Runes in the Chalice, you can receive different items with various properties as a reward. We have summarized all 12 known Runes for you and show what they do.
The new streaming service from Google, Stadia, has been marketed as a kind of “Netflix” for gamers. A service that allows you to access a wide selection of games for a fixed amount. However, that is not the case. For €10 a month, there is currently only one game available without additional costs: Destiny 2.
This is what players had hoped for: After the announcement of Google Stadia, the service was described in the press as “Netflix” for gamers – that was in March 2019.
Even after the information on June 6, which clearly paints a different picture, Bild.de continues to refer to the service as “Netflix for gamers” – they are consistent in that.
Google Stadia was clearly positioned as a competitor to PS4 and Xbox One.
One thought that for a monthly subscription of about €10, players could buy access to a library of current games.
The special gimmick: Subscribers could then play these games anywhere without needing their own console or gaming PC. It would be possible to stream these games, for example, on a low-performance laptop, an iPad, or even the huge TV in the living room in top quality.
Thanks to the power of the cloud and Google’s data centers.
Netflix – with only one series
This is how it really is: While there is a paid subscription service to Google Stadia called Stadia Pro, which actually costs €10.
This service currently includes only one free game: The Collection of Destiny 2.
The online shooter by Bungie is also particularly beautifully presented on the Google Stadia homepage.
Although additional titles are to be added to this service in the future, it is currently unclear which titles those will be and when exactly they will come.
Google Stadia Pro is currently thus “something like Netflix, if only one single series were running.”
German media are raising false expectations among gamers (example Bild.de). However, it is not a Netflix for gamers.
The prices are not yet known – but it is assumed that they will correspond to the “market standard prices.” However, subscribers of Google Stadia Pro can probably expect price discounts.
What are the €10 monthly costs for? The €10 subscription costs for Google Stadia Pro are primarily not for access to games, but for the use of the technology. Consumers get a powerful PC provided via cloud technology, which saves them the costs for hardware. This will be streamed to any monitor, smartphone, or television. For comparison: A 4k-capable gaming computer costs even more than €1500 if built from scratch.
Google Stadia can also be used for free, then you can continue playing the games you bought individually, but the resolution is limited to 1080p – with a subscription, it can go up to 4k.
It will be interesting to see whether Google’s Stadia offering can prevail in this way – or whether Microsoft with their “Game Pass” can outdo them. Because they truly have a kind of “Netflix for games.”
Anyone considering getting Stadia should take a look at this post:
In Pokémon GO, a bonus from Adventure Week is now extended. This is confirmed by Niantic after there were issues with Adventure Sync at the event start.
What bonus is it? During Adventure Week, you can earn 50,000 Stardust and 15 Rare Candies. This was actually valid until Monday if you had walked 50 kilometers the previous week.
Now Niantic is extending this bonus for another week. So you can claim another 50,000 Stardust and 15 Rare Candies if you cover another 50 kilometers by the Monday of the week after next, which is June 17.
Adventure Week bonus extended – But why?
So Niantic explains this step: On Twitter, the developers of Pokémon GO admitted that there were issues with Adventure Sync in recent days. Therefore, Niantic is extending the bonuses for Adventure Sync for another week.

This is obviously a problem during the event, as 50 kilometers a week is already quite a lot. If you then have to walk significantly more just to reach the 50 kilometers in the game, that’s unfeasible for many trainers.
The Adventure Week is currently running at full speed
Is everything working now? With the latest update, the biggest issues have probably been fixed. However, make sure that Adventure Sync is enabled in your game, as it was turned off on many devices with the update.
How do I get the rewards? To claim your rewards, you must have walked 50 kilometers in both weeks. Then, on Monday morning at 9 AM, the rewards will be distributed. Until then, every kilometer you walk counts.
A new insider report is causing a stir. Allegedly, Blizzard has canceled a StarCraft shooter so that the team can focus more on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2. Both games are expected to be showcased to the public at BlizzCon 2019.
The magazine Kotaku has published an article that is creating quite a buzz. Jason Schreier reports from several sources at Blizzard who have spoken to him.
StarCraft like Battlefield – That’s how it was supposed to be: The game with the codename Ares was supposed to be like “Battlefield in the StarCraft universe.” Players could take on the role of a Terran Marine and mow down Zerg.
There were even ideas to let players take on the role of Zerg, even though that hadn’t been implemented yet. Allegedly, the development of this title was progressing slowly, yet it was reportedly a huge shock for those involved that the project was shelved.
“It was looking pretty good by now,” said a source.
Additionally, a still unannounced mobile project is said to have been canceled as well.
Planned for BlizzCon 2019
More resources for Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2: That project Ares was canceled is reportedly to benefit two other projects. No developers were laid off; instead, they were redistributed to the teams for Diablo 4 and an still unknown Overwatch game to push development forward.
Especially the new Overwatch game is likely to be interesting, as it is expected to feature a significant PvE component.
Overwatch like Left 4 Dead: Some people from Blizzard have described the PvE element of Overwatch as “like Left 4 Dead.” This at least suggests that the missions would run similarly to the Archives missions, only probably much longer and with more enemy types.
With the Omnic Crisis and the machinations of Talon, there would definitely be many antagonists suitable as adversaries in a PvE campaign.
Presentation already at BlizzCon 2019?
According to Kotaku, it is expected that Diablo 4 and Overwatch will be the main announcements at BlizzCon 2019 – but that could still change.
Diablo 4 was previously intended for BlizzCon 2018, according to information from Kotaku, but was then canceled.
The increased focus on two projects at least suggests that Blizzard will reveal at least one of the two titles in November – hopefully even both. After all, both titles have supposedly been in development for several years.
Furthermore, Blizzard needs to regain the lost trust from the debacle of the last BlizzCon.
Hopefully, more information will be available at BlizzCon 2019 in November.
What does Blizzard say about it? Blizzard issued a statement in response to Kotaku’s inquiry, but it doesn’t provide any details or hints about the exact games. It only states:
We always have various teams working in the background on different ideas – even right now on several projects – but the reason we don’t discuss them is that during development anything can happen. This has happened several times with Blizzard in the past, and there is always the possibility that we decide to cancel a project and move on to something else.
Announcing something before it’s ready carries a high risk of frustration and disappointment, both for players and for us, not to mention the distraction and increased pressure on our developer teams.
Whether these insider reports come true, we will likely find out in a few months. Blizzard fans are eagerly looking forward to the announcements.
Do you believe this report and are you excited for Diablo 4 and “Overwatch 2”? Or do you think there’s nothing to it?
Interesting news has now come to light regarding what Ubisoft plans to showcase during E3 2019. Among them is an action-adventure that is said to feel like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and a new coop shooter.
What’s new? In the Kotaku podcast, Kirk Hamilton, Jason Schreier, and Maddy Myers discussed their hopes and expectations for E3 2019, which will reveal interesting new titles over the next few days.
Schreier mentions in the conversation that Ubisoft was likely planning a peaceful sci-fi title as a new IP, but canceled it. From this, they created a coop shooter with PvE content.
This coop shooter is expected to be presented during E3 2019. The shooter is said to utilize the engine from Rainbow Six Siege.
Additionally, Ubisoft is said to be working on a game with the codename Orpheus. The name is likely not final yet.
The game is an action-adventure that is supposed to be similar to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Schreier has reportedly heard several people compare these two games. What the games have in common is still unclear.
Fans on reddit suspect that it could revolve around the open world gameplay. In the forum Resetera , Schreier writes, “I think Orpheus will be more of an RPG than an action adventure. I believe the Zelda comparisons are more about the art style.”
When they plan to unveil Orpheus is still unknown.
What else is Ubisoft planning? The Ubisoft team has already announced that they intend to release 3 to 4 new AAA titles in this fiscal year. The fiscal year runs from April 2019 to March 2020. The new installment of the Ghost Recon series, Breakpoint, has already been introduced.
