Freddy Krueger’s rework is live. In Dead by Daylight, the lord of nightmares is finally a real threat again, spreading fear and terror.
For over a year, Freddy Krueger had to endure an existence in Dead by Daylight that simply did not do justice to his character. “Aggro problems” have long been a thing of the past in World of Warcraft. Since Wrath of the Lich King, tanks have rarely faced the issue of maintaining threat from opponents. Typically, the abilities of tanks generate so much threat that these enemies release from the tank only in exceptional cases.
However, that has changed in recent weeks. The new essences in the Heart of Azeroth are to blame.
The new essences make damage dealers much stronger – that is a problem.
What is the problem? With Patch 8.2 the Heart of Azeroth was expanded and provides all characters with new active and passive abilities. While this means more healing for healers and more survivability for tanks, damage dealers get significantly more damage. This damage, however, plays into the threat and makes many tanks quite stressed. The more traits a damage dealer possesses in the Heart of Azeroth, the harder it becomes for the tank, who can barely keep up with taunting.
What does Blizzard intend to do? Blizzard has announced it will address the problem with a hotfix. Tanks will then receive a threat bonus passively through their Heart of Azeroth when they unlock the essence slots. This should make it easier for tanks to maintain threat against particularly strong damage dealers in the future.
The hotfix is supposed to go live today, July 24, and will probably be deployed by tonight. Until then, overzealous damage dealers might want to hold back a bit.

How do I get the move? You can now teach Muddy Water normally with a TM. The move is now a regular part of the move pool and is not exclusive like Hydro Cannon.
Is a Swampert with Muddy Water worth it?A Swampert with Hydro Cannon is significantly better. Even Surf is a stronger move than Muddy Water. You should only rely on this move if you fight a lot in PvP. Otherwise, Hydro Cannon should be the first choice.

This is how the Blade Assassin works: Blade appears to be the “classic” of the two subclasses of the Assassin. Its gameplay consists of switching between two types of weapons in combat: two daggers and a longsword.

How difficult is the challenge? From a gameplay perspective, the challenge is not really demanding, but it involves a monstrous grind.
