In Pokémon GO the team leaders have new Pokémon that can battle you in PvP. We will show you which ones they are and how you can defeat them the fastest.
This is about the changes: Since there have been changes to the PvP mode in Pokémon GO, the 3 team leaders also have new Pokémon that can battle you.
How it will be harder: You will now not face Magikarp or Feebas, but at least a Sneasel or Formeo in front of you. This is supposed to make the battles harder.
Additionally, the team leaders now also use shields. They had not done this until now. A battle can therefore take a bit longer.
Is it going to be really difficult now? No, the team leaders are still quite easy to defeat. You will definitely face more challenges, and especially in the lower leagues, things have changed, but it isn’t really hard with the right counters.
How to defeat Blanche from Team Wisdom
How hard is she to defeat? Blanche is said to be the easiest to defeat. She primarily battles with Ice and Water-type Pokémon. Her teams in the 3 leagues look as follows:
Super League (up to 1500 CP):
Sneasel: Counter: Any Fighting, Fire, Bug, Rock, Steel, and Fairy-type Pokémon
Seaking: Counter: Any Grass, Electric, Fighting, and Rock-type Pokémon
Ice-Formeo: Counter: Any Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? You should be able to win even without a large team selection. However, it’s best to rely on Fighting and Rock-type Pokémon, as they are effective against all 3 Pokémon.
Hyper League (up to 2500 CP):
Glaceon: Counter: Any Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon
Empoleon: Counter: Any Fighting, Electric, and Ground-type Pokémon
Mamoswine: Counter: Any Grass, Fire, Water, Fighting, and Steel-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? Fighting-type Pokémon are effective against each of these Pokémon. So use Pokémon like Machamp, Leafeon, or Hariyama. This will give you the best results, and you won’t have to switch Pokémon too much.
Blanche has Mamoswine among her team
Master League (no CP limit):
Suicune: Counter: Electivire, Raikou, Roserade, Leafeon, Zapdos, and other Grass and Electric-type Pokémon
Metagross: Counter: Sneasel, Tyranitar, Groudon, Gengar, and other Fire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokémon
Articuno: Counter: Tyranitar, Rhyperior, Rampardos, Metagross, Electivire, and other Rock, Steel, Electric, and Fire-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? You should definitely rely on the right Pokémon here. Additionally, you need to use Pokémon of various types to be effective. We recommend a team of Raikou, Tyranitar, and Rampardos
How to defeat Candela from Team Valor
How hard is she to defeat? Until now, she was considered of medium difficulty. She mainly relies on Fire-type Pokémon. Her teams look as follows:
Super League (up to 1500 CP):
Jangmo-o: Counter: Any Flying, Psychic, Ground, and Water-type Pokémon
Magcargo: Counter: Any Rock, Ground, Fighting, and Water-type Pokémon
Fire-Formeo: Counter: Any Rock, Ground, and Water-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? This should currently be the easiest to defeat. Just use Rock-type Pokémon and you can easily defeat Candela here. A good candidate is Aerodactyl with its new Rock attacks.
Hyper League (up to 2500 CP):
Flareon: Counter: Any Rock, Ground, and Water-type Pokémon
Typhlosion: Counter: Any Rock, Ground, and Water-type Pokémon
Magmortar: Counter: Any Rock, Ground, and Water-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? Your team should look the same here as in the Super League. The best Pokémon here are Rampardos or Tyranitar. Alternatively, Kyogre or Groudon also work. The selection is large and they are effective against all Pokémon here.
Entei is part of Candela’s Master League team
Master League (no CP limit):
Entei: Counter: Rampardos, Groudon, Kyogre, Tyranitar, and other Ground, Water, and Rock-type Pokémon
Dragonite: Counter: Mamoswine, Tyranitar, Rampardos, Rayquaza, and other Rock, Dragon, Fairy, and Ice-type Pokémon
Zapdos: Counter: Rampardos, Tyranitar, Rhyperior, Kyogre, and other Rock, Electric, and Water-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? Simply equip your team with 3 Rock-type Pokémon and you shouldn’t have any problems here. A Tyranitar with Rock Slide and Stone Edge is even enough.
How to defeat Spark from Team Instinct
How hard is he to defeat? Spark has been considered the hardest team leader so far and even now he has some interesting Pokémon. But even then, the battle shouldn’t be a problem with the right counters. He mainly fights with Electric-type Pokémon:
Super League (up to 1500 CP):
Plusle: Counter: Any Ground-type Pokémon
Electrode: Counter: Any Ground-type Pokémon
Water-Formeo: Counter: Any Grass and Electric-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? A team of Ground-type Pokémon should be sufficient here. The Formeo is very effective against Ground, but it shouldn’t be able to take down a 3-member team. If needed, you can also bring along a Pokémon of Electric or Grass type.
Hyper League (up to 2500 CP):
Jolteon: Counter: Any Ground-type Pokémon
Luxray: Counter: Any Ground-type Pokémon
Magnezone: Counter: Any Ground, Fire, and Fighting-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? Again, a team of pure Ground-type Pokémon should suffice. Good candidates here are Groudon straight from the raid or Rhyperior.
Zapdos is part of Spark’s team
Master League (no CP limit):
Raikou: Counter: Groudon, Rhyperior, Garchomp, and other Ground-type Pokémon
Garchomp: Counter: Machamp, Groudon, Kyogre, Hariyama, and other Fighting, Grass, Water, Ground, Bug, Steel, and Fairy-type Pokémon
Zapdos: Counter: Rampardos, Tyranitar, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, and other Rock and Ice-type Pokémon
What should the team look like? To defeat Raikou and Tyranitar, a Ground-type Pokémon is sufficient. For Zapdos, you should switch to a Rock-type Pokémon. We recommend a team of Groudon, Garchomp, and Rampardos.
What do you think of the new team leaders? What Pokémon teams do you send into battle against them?
Festival for graphics card fans, as July brought the AMD Radeon RX 5700 (XT) and the two SUPER models of GeForce RTX 2060 and 2070. At the end of July, the 2080 Super model is coming. Is it worth buying the RX 5700 or are there reasons to wait? We take a closer look at the new cards for you.
Until now, Nvidia has dominated in the high-end area for desktop PCs, while AMD has been strong in the mid-range entry sector. But with the new Radeon RX 5700 and XT graphics cards, AMD is now also targeting the lower high-end sector, where Nvidia has been in control until now. This area is particularly lucrative due to high demand. Nvidia is aware of this and reacted with the new Super models to AMD.
What does this mean for you gamers and for whom might a new purchase be worthwhile?
How well does the Radeon RX 5700 XT perform compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 or 2080 and other graphics cards: What do reviews and benchmarks say?
How big is the leap from RX 5700 XT to RX Vega 64?
Is it worth waiting for the custom designs of the RX 5700 or should I switch to Nvidia?
Full-HD, WQHD and Ultra-HD – what can I play?
How is it with Linux aside from Windows?
RX 5700 XT vs RTX 2060, 2070 and Super
The new graphics card from AMD is the Radeon RX 5700 XT. Since July 7, the reference design of the new RX 5700 XT has been available. It belongs to AMD’s new Navi generation and is primarily designed to excel in WQHD resolutions. The RX 5700 is manufactured as a 7nm chip and has 8GB of video memory. Some games now require this amount if you want to play with high settings.

Then there are Nvidia’s Super models. The GeForce RTX 2060 Super and the GeForce RTX 2070 Super have been available since July 7, both as Founder Edition and now also as custom models. Nvidia continues to rely on the proven Turing architecture, which has replaced the old architecture. Likewise, the Super models, like the competition, also have 8GB of video memory. According to Nvidia’s official statement, the RTX 2080 Super will also be available on July 23 and is intended to position itself ahead of the RTX 2080.

How does the Radeon RX 5700 perform in tests?
In the following, we have summarized some test results as examples.
Chip. The testers from Chip describe the new card from AMD as “a strong bargain card with noise issues,” as it becomes very loud under load. For Chip, while the card is not a price-performance miracle, “in terms of performance, AMD can counter Nvidia well with the Radeon RX 5700 XT.” Additionally, the graphics card offers great performance for a reasonable price, even though the RTX 2070 Super outperforms it.
Gamestar. The testers from Gamestar see the 5700 series as a strong development in the right direction, with the new prices allowing it to compete better with the competition. Here, the lack of ray tracing and the poor fan are criticized, which tarnishes the overall picture and thus cannot receive a clear recommendation.
PCGamesHardware. The testers from PCGamesHardware primarily note a significant improvement in power consumption and energy efficiency compared to previous models. “Although AMD with the Navi-10 chip never reaches new performance spheres, the efficiency displayed is impressive. When comparing Polaris, Vega, and Navi on a per-unit basis, the old AMD chips truly look old.”
Computerbase. For Computerbase, AMD has created a surprisingly competitive GPU with the new RX 5700. “The current Navi 10 does not yet have all the features of Turing, but unlike the old GCN, RDNA shows much potential in the gaming sector.” They also criticize the volume.
The Radeon 5700 XT in gaming benchmarks
How does the 5700 perform on average? Computerbase has tested 15 games. A colorful mix of current titles with DX11 and 12, including games like Battlefield V, Anthem, Anno 1800, or Far Cry New Dawn. Here are the benchmark results:
For the benchmark test, a non-overclocked Intel Core i9-9900K was used. Source: Computerbase.de. Save games were used for this.
According to Computerbase, the Radeon 5700 XT shows the following average FPS picture in 2560×1440 resolution:

The 5700 XT can distance itself from the 2070 as promised, but falls behind the 2070 Super and 2080
The predecessor RX Vega 64 leaves the 5700 XT notably 13% behind
In Full-HD, the relative differences are nearly identical, although the GPU does not become as much of a bottleneck as it does in WQHD
Let’s take another look at this from the perspective of a title that is important to many readers on Mein-MMO.de.
Case study: The Division 2 RX 5700 XT vs GeForce RTX 2070
In The Division 2, AMD’s new RX 5700 XT shows that it consistently outpaces the 2060 Super, for which Nvidia demands a similar price. At a resolution of 1920×1080, the new card positions itself ahead of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2070 according to PCWorld’s own benchmark test of The Division 2. In WQHD, there is a tie, especially as the GPU quickly becomes a bottleneck at this resolution. However, the Super model of the RTX 2070 or also the old RTX 2080 remains unbeaten. Of course, the significantly more expensive RTX 2080 Ti is far ahead.
Source: PCWorld. High settings, The Division 2 benchmark test.
In WQHD, the RX 5700 XT still offers more than 60 FPS at full details. If you have a 60 or 75 Hz monitor, the 5700 XT is perfect for you. However, the capabilities of a 144Hz monitor are hardly utilized by the 5700 XT in the WQHD area in The Division 2. Rather, the upcoming 2080 Super or even better the 2080 Ti should be considered.
FPS and Hertz? Higher “Frames Per Second” (FPS) generally provide the player with a smoother gaming experience. This becomes even more important when higher speeds are required in-game, such as with shooters. The refresh rate of the screen limits how many FPS the screen displays. 60Hz screens can display a maximum of 60 FPS, while 144Hz screens can take much more from high frame rates and thus can process up to 144 images per second sent by the graphics card. Many players refer to this as noticeably smoother gameplay. The G-Sync and FreeSync technology ensures that the FPS from the graphics card are optimally synchronized with the Hz frequency of the monitor. This also prevents the so-called screen tearing. This video illustrates it quite well using Fortnite:

One quickly sees why higher Hz on average also allow better performance in multiplayer matches. Movements are smoother and therefore more predictable.
If you increase the resolution up to Ultra-HD, you should also rely on a Ti 2080 or wait for the imminent release of the RTX 2080 Super: It should offer more performance than the previous GeForce 2080 models. With this, 50-60 FPS should be possible at higher, albeit not maximum, settings.
Of course, you can play The Division 2 smoothly in 4K and lower graphic settings with an RX 5700 XT. However, you shouldn’t expect miracles and should anticipate occasional stuttering.
Why should I wait for the custom designs of the RX 5700 XT?
Cooling and noise. Most testers complain about the high noise levels under load with the reference designs: These are once again equipped with a weak cooler. During normal operation, the cards are pleasantly quiet, but during gaming, the card can become noticeably loud. If you value a quiet PC, you should wait, as it won’t be long before the first custom models hit the market.
When will the first custom designs of the RX 5700 XT be released? Likely mid-August.
MSI has already announced custom models of the 5700 series. As shown in the picture, they will come with better coolers.
What is the advantage of a better cooler? The significant advantage is that the card can already be overclocked from the factory, and overclockers have already shown with the 5700 XT that there is still a lot of potential to be unlocked.
What is still possible with overclocking (overclocking) a 5700 XT is shown by a test from TomsHardware. Source: TomsHardware
You cannot simply detach the cooler from a reference design and replace it like a processor with another one. In any case, you’ll lose your warranty, and it is generally discouraged. Therefore: If you want a quiet and better cooler, wait for the custom models, which are usually much better with AMD and often provide a few percent more performance or better go directly for Nvidia’s custom designs.
Overclocking with the reference cooler is only conditionally recommended: The power consumption and high temperatures can cause irreparable damage to memory, socket, or voltage converters. Therefore once again: If you want to actively overclock, wait for the custom models, whose coolers are significantly better. And the wait could be worth it, as the test mentioned two paragraphs above from TomsHardware shows.

I want to buy the 5700 XT now! Okay, if you don’t care too much about a lower noise level, lower temperatures, and slightly higher performance – but rather prioritize the price – then you can also comfortably go for a 5700 now. There have already been some first deals that make the purchase even more worthwhile. It is also assumed that the prices of the custom designs of the Radeon RX 5700 will be higher.

Should I choose the GeForce RTX 2060 Super or GeForce RTX 2070 Super instead?
Reason 1: Custom models are already available. The first custom designs for the GeForce RTX Super are already available, in addition, Nvidia’s reference design is significantly quieter than the competition.
Reason 2: Ray tracing. It’s also important to note that Nvidia graphics cards support DXR ray tracing. Ray tracing simply refers to the calculation of rays after they hit a surface. Until now, only GeForce RTX cards have been capable of handling this, and AMD plans to support hardware-accelerated ray tracing only officially from next year (2020) and will initially only offer hybrid-ray tracing. In software ray tracing, the shaders are used instead of the compute cores; performance gains should not be expected.
At the moment, only four games support ray tracing: Tomb Raider, Metro: Exodus, Battlefield 5, and Quake 2 RTX. 14 other titles are listed by Gamestar, which plan to support ray tracing.
Wait for the RX 2060 or the RTX 2080 Super at the end of July?
Interesting for players who are reluctant to invest 400 euros in a graphics card could be the announcement of the weaker RX 2060. So far, there is little information available; it is expected to be based on the Navi-14 chip and should roughly match the performance of a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, thus costing around 250 euros like this. However, it is expected that this card will only offer 4 GB of video memory, which is now barely sufficient for modern games.
Which graphics card is worth it for me?
The dilemma of choice: Which card should I choose?
If I play in Full HD (1920×1080): In the Full HD range, which is currently most relevant for most players, the new AMD graphics cards are convincing. The RX 5700 clearly distinguishes itself from the GTX 1070 and also has a few percentage points ahead of the GTX 1080. The XT variant can also hold its own against the RTX 2060 Super and the RTX 2070. For those of you who primarily game in Full HD and rarely use significantly higher resolutions, the upgrade like the MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT is worthwhile.
If I want WQHD (2560×1440): In the WQHD range, AMD’s new card gains ground compared to Nvidia. Here, the Radeon graphics card averages around 88fps according to Gamestar. If you use a 75 Hz screen, the RX 5700 XT is completely sufficient for you, and you can play at the highest detail level; however, a 144Hz screen may also be worthwhile.
However, those who want to take full advantage of a 144Hz monitor will need at least a 2080 or better for games like The Division 2 in WQHD.
P.S. Do you also need a new processor besides a graphics card? Then check our article on Ryzen 3000, where we give you an overview of the newest processors:
How do competitive shooters like Fortnite and Overwatch run with a Radeon 5700 XT?
Fast games and shooters benefit from a high frame rate and Hertz rate. This means that you should generally aim for more than 100 FPS in order to better utilize 144Hz monitors. As the benchmark results from Computerbase show, the new 5700 XT at least outperforms the GTX 1080 and the 2060 Super, achieving high FPS rates of 135.7 frames per second in Fortnite. In Overwatch, you can even achieve 184.7 FPS and in Rainbow Six: Siege 182.3 FPS. Thus, typical e-sport titles run quite well with the Radeon RX 5700.
In the Full HD range, the 5700 XT can therefore also fully utilize 144 Hz monitors very well. For 144 Hz in the Full HD range, Gamestar recommends the AOC 62460PF in particular. For around 200 euros, it offers a fast Full HD panel and many extras. The audio output is moderate; however, the screen offers excellent Hz rates for most games.

Conclusion about the Radeon RX 5700 from AMD
The Radeon RX 5700 XT is slightly faster than the competition in direct comparison to the GeForce RTX 2060 Super, and the same goes for the comparison to the standard GeForce RTX 2070 model. At the top of the price segment up to 550 euros remains the GeForce RTX 2070 Super.
Well suited for WQHDin the 60/75 Hz range. Especially in the highly contested WQHD area, which Nvidia has dominated until now, AMD shows a significant performance improvement: In most tests, the RX 5700 XT achieves a few more FPS than the 2060 Super and the 2070, while the RX 5700 can overtake the 2060.
Conditionally suitable for WQHD in the 144 Hz range. With a 144Hz monitor, it primarily depends on the game and settings whether the 5700 XT is worth it for you. The 5700 falls off more here.
In current and graphically demanding games like The Division 2 and Metro Exodus, the effect diminishes to around 70 FPS if you want to achieve the best graphics. In GTA 5 or Destiny 2, however, the 5700 XT maintains around 100 FPS at maximum settings. With a few changes, even more FPS can be quickly achieved so that the 144 Hz can be better utilized.
In the benchmark from Tom’s HARDWARE, Destiny 2 reaches almost 106 FPS on average with the 5700 XT in WQHD at maximum settings.
Not so suitable for Ultra-HD. You can actually play all games with an RX 5700 XT – if you are willing to make stronger concessions in terms of graphic quality. This should be questioned. If you want to switch to 4k gaming, in most cases it will be for the best possible graphics.
Here, it is worth waiting for the release of the new RTX 2080 Super, which will officially be released on July 23. Or you go for the significantly more expensive 2080 Ti, with which you can play even more smoothly in 4k.

Pro and Con – 5700 XT or RTX 2070 Super (2080) to buy?
Overall, however, the RX 5700 XT offers better value for money than the Nvidia models. If you value the euro per FPS, then the new 5700 XT is worth considering, as it costs 50 or respectively 110 euros less than the competing models. Especially in Full HD (5700, 5700 XT) and in the WQHD range (5700 XT), AMD’s new cards provide good performance.
What speaks for the RX 5700 XT?
Good price-performance ratio in the Full HD and WQHD segment
With some limitations, 4K gaming is also possible
Well suited for e-sports or typical competitive shooters with more than 100 fps
Stronger than the 2060 Super and 2070, for which Nvidia demands a similar price
Custom models will soon be available, which will further unlock the card’s potential
As it is a new architecture, the next drivers could significantly enhance performance (similar to the RX Vega)
PCIe 4.0 support
What speaks against a RX 5700 XT and for a GeForce RTX 2070 Super?
The 2070 models have better reference coolers and there are custom designs with even more powerful coolers
Hardware accelerated ray tracing
About 10% more performance, which can even reach the old RTX 2080 – if there’s still a budget, the Super 2070 is a great choice
Tip: Since the 2080 is a phased-out model, there will be regularly attractive deals in the near future, so it might also be worth looking at offers from good custom models like the 2080 Asus ROG Strix and MSI Gaming X Trio
Can I use the new cards as a Linux user?
Do the new graphics card and the free operating system get along?
Support from Kernel Linux 5.3: The new kernel expected mid-October will likely support the new graphics cards from AMD. Torvald has now integrated the patches for the Amdgpu kernel driver, as can be seen on Github. AMD now offers a driver package for Linux on its own homepage. Meanwhile, according to Golem, the first open-source driver for Ubuntu is also available.
Initial tests on Linux already show positive results for the 5700 XT: Thus, the 5700 XT consistently achieves high FPS, for example in the now somewhat older shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Currently supported by only a few distributions. However, the new Open/Pro driver from AMD currently (as of July 17, 2019) only supports the enterprise distributions RHEL/CentOS, SUSE, and Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS; other distributions are currently not supported.
No Vulkan support yet: Moreover, there is still no Vulkan support, which means that Linux users are currently limited to OpenGL, which is particularly disappointing because newer Linux games work with either Vulkan or Proton.

Before the opening of the casino in GTA Online, money drop streams are increasing. But you should be careful.
What is happening in GTA Online right now? The imminent opening of the casino in GTA Online brings joy to the community. Players are now looking for various ways to quickly earn a lot of money. With a new DLC, expensive vehicles and properties are making their way into the game again.
Which streams are we talking about? Scammers are exploiting this excitement of players with fraudulent streams. They claim to be giving away in-game currency, called money drops, to players. Some even ask for donations in real money as a trade.
Examples of money drop streams on YouTube
In the streams, players with modded accounts gift bags full of money to other players. Bags containing several thousand GTA dollars fall onto the players in seconds. They only have to join the modder’s session and are happy about the gifts.
It’s actually an exciting story, but most of the streams are fake.
Casino release of GTA Online attracts fake streams
How do the fake streams operate? Most of these fake streams are similarly structured. Typical requirements include:
Subscribe to the YouTube channel of the stream or additional channels
Follow the streamers’ social media accounts
Write the gamertag or PSN ID in the stream’s comments or on social media
An example of a current money drop stream and its requirements
Some streams even ask for real money donations to allegedly invite viewers into private lobbies in the game to receive the money via money drop. One stream states, “Invitation to private lobby – $5 for 60 minutes.”
These streams are primarily focused on gaining followers. Therefore, some say, “If you unfollow, there will be no money.”
How to recognize fake money streams in GTA Online?
No specific platform required: One should keep in mind: “If something seems too good to be true, it often is not true.” Most of these streams just waste your time and do not truly reward you with money drops.
Many streams advertise that players can join on all platforms. However, since there is no crossplay for all platforms in GTA Online, this is not possible. If they were really distributing drops, streamers would specifically ask about the platform.
Old gameplay footage: As Kotaku reports, some streams use outdated gameplay. If the loading screen of the streams promotes past in-game events, you can be sure that you are seeing recorded gameplay and that the players are not actually playing live – thus cannot distribute money to the live viewers.
Streamer comment: Many fake streams lack audio commentary. So no one is at their microphone speaking to you. If a stream does have audio commentary, you should pay attention to whether it interacts with the current chat.
Check the chat: The reactions of other chat participants often indicate what kind of stream it is. If many write that they’ve been waiting for an invitation for hours, then likely nothing is happening.
In general, you should not waste your time on such streams. This method of getting money is questionable anyway. After all, it’s about modded accounts that want to give you money. There is no guarantee that you will keep this money – if you even find a real stream at all. Even modding accounts and using such money trainers is punished in the game.
While earning a lot of money in GTA Online requires effort, it is possible.
In Pokémon GO there are major changes to the PvP mode. After new mini-games for this mode were announced, they are now live.
What’s new in PvP? The use of charged attacks now works completely differently. You don’t have to tap the screen rapidly anymore, but you need to try to tap as many bubbles of the charged attack as possible. The more bubbles you pop, the stronger the charged attack becomes.
The changes in the PvP mode at a glance
This is how the battle proceeds now: Each type has its own attack animation in the PvP mode. A YouTube video shows what the attacks look like for each type:

Is PvP now more exciting? It is definitely something new, and the mini-games provide more of a challenge. After all, it’s no longer just mindless tapping, but you have to pay close attention.
Nevertheless, this change shouldn’t revolutionize the PvP mode. After all, the principle remains the same, and especially the same rewards for winners and losers still bother many players.
What else is new in Trainer battles? There are various changes with the Team Leaders, that is, when you fight against the NPCs. They now have new Pokémon for you to defeat and have become a bit more challenging.
A detailed list of the Pokémon and how to counter them can be found in our counter guide .
What do you think? Can these changes save the PvP mode?
After 28 years of working at Blizzard, co-founder Frank Pearce is leaving the studio. After Mike Morhaime, he is the second of the three founders of the company to leave now.
Who is Frank Pearce? Pearce is one of the three co-founders of Blizzard Entertainment and was already onboard when the company was still called “Silicon and Synapse”. He is one of the longest-serving employees.
He worked as a programmer on games like The Lost Vikings, Diablo, and StarCraft. He later took on the position of Chief Development Officer and was responsible for the entire development department at Blizzard.
Similar to Mike Morhaime, he then took on a consultancy role in the company before his resignation and is now bidding farewell to Blizzard with warm words in a blog post.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to have been part of Blizzard, our games, our colleagues, and especially our community. Before Blizzard, I struggled to find a place where I felt I belonged.
Frank Pearce
Bad sign or normal after 30 years of work?
What do the fans say? The announcement that another founding member of Blizzard is leaving the company was received rather coldly by the community.
In the Reddit forums and on social media, fans wish Pearce all the best and thank him for the games of their childhood. However, many of them see a dark future for Blizzard, as apparently more and more members of the “old guard” are leaving the company.
Man, Blizzard has bled a lot of talent in the last couple of years.
BioDomeWithPaulyShor
Especially on Twitter, the reactions are negative. Under Blizzard’s tweet about the resignation, GIFs of sinking ships and burning buildings pop up. Players perceive the resignation as another sign that Activision is taking more control and exerting pressure on Blizzard.
However, there are also other voices. People warn the community against panic and say that resigning from a company after 30 years of work is not an unusual thing. User DwilenaAvaron wrote:
This is not a sign of the apocalypse. This is how life works. 30 years is a damn long time.
Which employees have also left? This is not the first time in recent months that a longtime employee has left Blizzard. The most prominent example is CEO Mike Morhaime, who just became a consultant less than a year ago and then left Blizzard entirely.
Mike Morhaime, for many the good soul of Blizzard
Other examples of significant personnel changes at Blizzard include:
Ubisoft has released its financial figures for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2019/2020. The Division 2 is said to be the biggest hit in the West on PS4, Xbox One, and PC so far in 2019, it says. But Ubisoft’s true love seems to be Rainbow Six Siege. The shooter is becoming more successful as it gets older.
What are these figures? These are Ubisoft’s financial figures for Q1 2019/2020, which spans from April to June.
The special thing is:
the figures are about 10% weaker at €363.4 million than last year but above their own expectations
because last year, Far Cry 5 was around this time – this year Ubisoft had no releases from April to June
this means the revenues came from existing games
The Division 2 biggest hit in 2019 so far – But what is it worth?
This is what Ubisoft says about The Division 2: Here it is said that The Division 2 is “the biggest hit of the gaming industry so far in 2019.”
Ubisoft then further defines this: The Division 2 has sold the most units for consoles and PC in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Latin America, and Japan. This applies for the period from January to June 2019.
Ubisoft comes to this conclusion after reports from market researchers and its own assumptions.
What’s behind this: It’s a bit surprising. In May, it was still said that The Division 2 had fallen short of expectations on PS4 and Xbox One. However, it apparently still sufficed for the “biggest hit” – probably also because there has been hardly any competition so far.
The only “big other hit of 2019” so far has been Apex Legends – a Free2Play title.
Who owns the true love? Two other games from Ubisoft have been explicitly highlighted:
Rainbow Six Siege – it has performed even stronger in its 4th year than last year. The game is one of the 10 best-selling titles of the last 5 years.
and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – this apparently performs significantly better than its predecessor Origins.
The new lineup with the two titles and also Rainbow Six Quarantine and Gods&Monsters is one of the best lineups of the last 5 years.
Rainbow Six Siege represents the success of Ubisoft’s strategy
This is why Rainbow Six Siege is special: The shooter is from 2015 and was initially not a big success. However, Ubisoft worked hard on it and was able to improve it gradually and establish it more strongly, making it a game that is more relevant years after its release than at launch.
This only succeeds for a few games.
This concept of a “service game” has been seen by Ubisoft for years as a great strength because one supports a product for a long time and thus earns money with it for a long time. For Honor and The Division 1 are other examples that they were able to “get back on track” after a rough release.
Thus, Ubisoft can also have a good quarter if no new games are released. Here, Ubisoft sees itself as a pioneer, recognizing early a market trend and using it to its advantage: The so-called “backlog,” the already existing games, have become an important pillar for Ubisoft.
The survival MMO Fallout 76 has disappointed fans with the recent Patch 11 and introduced many annoying bugs into the game. The developers want to address this quickly, but so far they have had little success. Fortunately, there is soon going to be a big barbecue party that everyone is looking forward to.
The developers have not confirmed this yet, but they want to listen more to the community and are already working on hotfixes.
Developers promise quick help, but it’s not quite working yet
What has already been done: At the time of this news, the developers have already deployed a hotfix that is supposed to solve a particularly annoying issue: Legendary enemies often do not drop legendary loot. Unfortunately, this has still not been completely fixed.
Even though some players seem to have had luck, many still did not receive the loot they deserved. Others even report that no legendary monsters appear at all anymore.
It seems that Bethesda is still not quite finished with the bug fixing work.
The developers want to change the following: Other issues that the developers want to address as quickly as possible include:
Enemies that are not legendary but appear as legendary should no longer occur.
When do the developers plan to implement all this? Bethesda only stated on the official page that they are working through the list as quickly as possible and will address the issues with the next patch. They did not provide a specific date.
Big barbecue “Meat Week” makes everyone happy
What is Meat Week? Better than the faulty or still non-existent bug fixes, players welcomed the announcement of the upcoming “Meat Week”. This is a big event in the Fallout world where a super mutant named Grahm fires up the grill and cooks tons of meat.
Additionally, there are two repeatable events:
One-A-Bite: Every 15 minutes you can participate in this event. The goal is to hunt special animals and bring their meat to Grahm for the grill. This brings experience points, caps, and legendary items.
Grahm’s Meat Munch: This event starts every hour. Here you won’t need weapons, but you have to help Grahm keep his big barbecue party running. You need to clean up trash, feed Chally the moo cow, and extinguish fires. The better everything goes, the more loot you will get.
When does the fun start? The party is supposed to kick off on July 30, 2019, and last for a week.
Update: In a post about a new hotfix for Fallout 76, Bethesda announced that the party will be postponed and will probably start on August 1.
This is how fans react to the barbecue party: Unlike the patch issues, fans seem to be in a better mood here:
“That sounds great, I can’t wait!”
“Events with Grahm? I’m in!”
“I’m already so excited about Meat Week. An event centered around Grahm is already a hit for me.”
Other players are a bit more cynical and doubt that Bethesda will offer suitable loot for the event.
In Teamfight Tactics, the LoL Auto Chess, Riot Games has announced what’s in the upcoming update, the LoL Patch 9.14b. They have released a kind of pre-patch notes. A hotfix is even already live.
When is the patch coming? Teamfight Tactics will be patched weekly until further notice. The update 9.14b is expected to be released on Wednesday, July 24.
What has changed already: A hotfix is already live. The item “Locket of the Iron Solari” now only grants 200 shield – instead of 300 as before.
The team states: “We did this so you can have as much fun as possible over the weekend.”
The controversial, defensive buff item is set to be further changed.
This is the situation: When you play a lot of Teamfight Tactics, you notice how quickly players adjust to patch changes. Currently, in many rounds, Assassin combos or Elementalists are at the top. Additionally, specific heroes like Tristana or items like Cursed Blade or Redemption are being used.
Akali is currently considered one of the very strong units in Assassins/Ninjas.
Other combos like Wild or Sorcerer are hardly seen anymore because their “counter combos” are so strong. Demons completely dismantle Sorcerers, and Wild struggles to penetrate Assassins.
Therefore, Riot Games is now changing the meta in Teamfight Tactics again.
These are the 6 buffs in Teamfight Tactics
Getting stronger:
Ahri – the mage is currently almost only played in “Wild combinations” and they are rarely seen
Mordekaiser – only seen in the early game when RNG offers a twin or triplet early on here
Poppy – the Yordle tank is also hardly seen in Teamfight Tactics – at best in 6 Yordle troops. For a Tier-3 heroine, Poppy doesn’t seem strong enough.
Poppy is set to become stronger.
The item Morellonomicon – it was once too strong and is now, in Riot’s eyes, too weak. It is often played on heroes like Lucian or Pyke .
Sorcerer – the mages have fallen a bit behind in the meta of Teamfight Tactics – today many Ninjas or Demons are played, both regarded as counters against Sorcerers.
Wild – the combo is hardly seen anymore since the game has progressed a bit. Wilds struggle to assert themselves against aggressive (Assassins) or defensive tactics (Elementalists).
Tristana – the Tier-1 heroine is currently seen constantly in games with Red Buff and Cursed Blade, even into the late game. She is easily brought to 3-stars and has enormous range with nasty effects.
Volibear – often serves as the tank in Elemental combos and then distributes ice stuns. Nasty bear.
The bear is getting weaker.
Locket of the Iron Solari – has actually already been nerfed, but is still too strong. The problem is that players like to stack 3 to 5 of these items and then give the hero shields from 900 to 1500. – This nerf is already live, it now only grants 200 shield points instead of 300 as before.
Elementalists – here the summoned golem absorbs the damage. This provides the time that strong units like Brand, Kennen, or Anivia need to get going.
Tier-3 Assassin Katarina.
These 4 bugs are being fixed:
The Raptors will always drop loot with the patch – they may have forgotten to do so at times.
Guardian Angel, the extra life for heroes, will reliably trigger in Teamfight Tactics.
Redemption will heal 1000 HP as planned, instead of 1000% as currently – many are currently using the item to bring their front line back to full HP in the midst of battle.
The buff of the Guardians will still work even when they are already dead.

Here are the reactions: The current meta is mostly seen critically by Twitter users. However, the changes now announced do not make complete sense to the players either.
Currently, many find the “Cursed Blade” too strong. Hits with this item have the chance to lower a hero’s star level. This is considered “broken” because it takes Champs out of the game. It is depressing when a level-3 Titan turns into a pitiful level-1 sausage.
One would have wished for a nerf.
The changes to the mages are not understood by all – many players in Teamfight Tactics would have preferred a nerf to the currently dominant Ninjas. Right now, Akali seems to go crazy at times.
In Anthem a pre-event for the Cataclysm has started. While strange things are happening in the sky, players have now received missions that are live under the name “The Gathering Storm”.
A first step has now been made. After BioWare mistakenly published a countdown and some tasks a few days ago, these challenges are now back and this time intentionally. Under the name “The Gathering Storm”, you now have to complete 3 missions.
A timer is also counting down, which is set to end this Tuesday.

Pre-event has started – Could it be big on Tuesday?
What do players say about the event? The mood around the event is surprisingly good. Many players are looking forward to what will happen and what the countdown is about.
However, there is also some skepticism. After all, one knows the issues of Anthem. After this event appeared too early on the servers, people are now wondering if everything will go smoothly this time.
Here you can see the missions of “The Gathering Storm”. Source: Reddit
This is the theory players have: The countdown that appeared with the event is now puzzling many players. The most popular theory on Reddit is that this is currently just a pre-pre-event and that the actual pre-event for the Cataclysm will start on Tuesday.
This would make sense, as you are currently supposed to help stop the gathering storm. If this does not work out, it could soon become unpleasant in Anthem and the storm could rise.
Exactly then, the pre-event for the Cataclysm would fit. This could very well happen this Tuesday, and the Cataclysm itself could also start as part of this event.
When can we expect the Cataclysm? Currently, this is just a first taste of the storm. By Tuesday at the latest, there should be more information about the Cataclysm. Until then, you should have completed the missions of “The Gathering Storm”.
What do you think? What could this countdown and the pre-event be about?
When does the live event in Fortnite: Battle Royale take place? Tonight, the big event in Season 9 of Fortnite starts. We will show you the time and countdownand what we know about it so far.
When does the live event start today? Today, Saturday, July 20th, the big live event in Fortnite begins. A countdown in the game counts down to 8:00 PM CEST (that is our time) on Saturday evening. The event should therefore start around this time.
Update 8:45 PM: Monsters and robots have had an epic battle. See the video here:
You can also find the countdown in the game. You can see it at various sky platforms.
Taken at 09:16 AM on Saturday morning – The time is counting down to 8:00 PM German time
What happens during the live event? A great battle between two giants is expected.
On one side is the monster that emerged from Polar Peak weeks ago and is now swimming in the sea in front of the island. It is referred to in the game code as “Cattus”, which many players associated with a cat.
On the other side is the huge robot that is being completed in the factory on the island. It was initially believed to be a dog, Doggus, but the robot does not look like a dog.

Today, on July 20th, there was a vendor reset in The Division 2 so you will find new gear with various sellers. But which of them is worth it? And what about the secret vendor Cassie Mendoza? Here you will find out.
Why is the vendor reset interesting? Even if you already have good gear, the vendor reset can still be worth it. You can use this to further optimize your gear.
In The Division 2, gear has various attributes that move within set parameters. You can find pieces of gear with better stats or more interesting talents at vendors, despite having the same slots or even the same name. This is referred to as rolls.
When you look through the offerings of the vendors, you might stumble upon items with higher values in a desired category or good talents. You can then extract these to your preferred gear through recalibration and improve it. Perhaps an offered item is even so good that it’s worth keeping it completely.
The following items are recommended this week: This week does not have many items that are really worth it. The vendor selection is rather weak – especially if you are not in a max-level clan. These are the most interesting offers:
At the level 30 clan vendor, you will find a pair of gloves from Alps Summit Armament. These have +16,559 health and the paired talent. Critical hits heal 20% health and repair 1% armor.
Also at the level 30 clan vendor, there is a vest from Alps Summit Armament. This one comes with +13% weapon damage, +14,685 armor, and the talent Bloodsucker. Destroying armor grants a stackable armor bonus of +25% for 10 seconds. The maximum stack size is 6.
Moreover, the level 30 clan vendor also offers a holster from Wyvern Wear with solid +542 skill power, which will become more important with the upcoming Title Update 5.
At the vendor in the Theatre settlement, you will get a mask from Gila Guard with +8.5% health and ruthless, meaning +10% damage against elites.
If you want to get an overview of the entire vendor offering for this week, you can find a detailed overview on rubenalamina.mx.
What is going on with Cassie Mendoza? For the reset at this secret vendor, new times apply since Title Update 4. Cassie’s offerings will now be renewed 24 hours later than those of the other vendors – that is, only in the night from Saturday to Sunday. Until then, only the timer will be displayed, and items will not yet be sold. You will have to wait a bit longer for her. Hopefully, she will have better items than her regular colleagues.
On time for the anniversary of the moon landing, Bungie released a new video for the upcoming expansion of Destiny 2. In Shadowkeep, the German title “Festung der Schatten,” players return to the moon, which was already part of Destiny 1. In the video, the developers show how the location has changed and how creepy the Earth’s satellite looks now compared to the previous game.
What’s happening with the moon? The next expansion for Destiny 2, Shadowkeep, will take place on the moon. The earth’s satellite was already playable in Destiny 1 and was an important part of the story.
Mark Noseworthy and Luke Smith from Bungie explained that the moon in Shadowkeep has changed and evolved compared to Destiny 1. They want to give new players and veterans something to explore with the location. Destiny 1 players should feel familiar with the moon, but they should also sense that something is off.
Bungie has now released a new video showing the new location of Shadowkeep and how strange and creepy the moon has become.

How has the moon changed? As the developers explain in the video, the idea for returning to the moon started as a “passion project.” They wanted to see if they could take the moon from Destiny 1 and bring it to Destiny 2 without it having to hide from the other areas in the game.
The moon has been “remastered” in Shadowkeep, completely overhauled and equipped with new lighting and effects. The satellite now appears darker and gloomier overall, and the developers play with shadows, giving the moon a mysterious quality.
What can be seen is an area where strange human shapes are floating in the sky. There are also some regions that players from Destiny 1 are likely to recognize, such as the crashed Ketch, which the Fallen are now building into a base.
Is this a gate leading into the Black Garden?
Additionally, a small part of a cinematic featuring Eris Morn can be seen, which is still in development. Eris is in a cave and touching a stone wall that slowly begins to crumble and reveal something. Apparently, she has awakened a “hidden darkness,” as the Bungie developers say. However, what that exactly is has not yet been revealed.
What are the players saying? The players in the Destiny subreddit are particularly discussing the details they noticed in the video. In one scene, a Vex gate can be seen that looks similar to the one that led to the Black Garden in Destiny 1 on Mars in the Black Garden. One player wonders if this is now the entrance to the garden on the moon.
Also visible: the Jötunn Sparrow
Furthermore, the players are celebrating the Sparrows seen in the clip. One vehicle looks very similar to the exotic fusion rifle Jötunn. In another scene, a Sparrow with a lion’s head is seen, just like the exotic grenade launcher Howl of the Lion.
Did you discover any other details? What do you think of the video about the moon?
The voice actor of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 was sent back to the studio. The lines with his horse sounded too erotic.
Who is the voice actor? Roger Clark voices the cowboy Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, whom you play during the story. He is popular in the community and often appears in photos or videos with fans.
Why did he have to re-record lines? As a voice actor, Roger Clark has to record many dialogues with other gang members. Conversations with Dutch, calls for Lenny, or fights with other characters are part of it.
In RDR 2, depending on the bonding with the horse, there are various lines that Roger Clark recorded. And his deep, breathy, masculine voice was initially a bit too intimate in relation to a horse.
Arthur spoke about the situation at MomoCon:
Much of what has to do with horses was voice acting. I believe I spent about 2 days in the recording booth doing that. It was about whether Arthur’s horse is a mare or a stallion.
Then there are different dialogues depending on whether you have a level 4 bond or a level 1 bond. You’re not quite so affectionate, etc.
So we did that. A few weeks later, I came back and one of our wonderful assistant directors, Gethin Aldous, came to me and said:
‘Roger, we need to re-record those horse lines.’
I asked: ‘Why?’
And he said: ‘Well … they’re a bit too intimate. It doesn’t sound like you’re talking to a horse.’
I asked: ‘What do you mean?’
Then the staff member played the lines again and Clark agreed that they needed to be recorded differently. How it sounded, you can hear in the following video:

Officially, we don’t know much about the new Coop mode Spec Ops in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, according to a leak, this new mode should be quite cool and reminiscent of a shooter MMO like The Division 2. The Battle Royale mode may also play a role in it.
What is Spec Ops? Under this name, one knows a coop mode in the Call of Duty games from Infinity Ward, where you could play certain multiplayer-designed maps with a buddy.
How do we know about the Spec Ops mode in Modern Warfare? In the upcoming new CoD game, Modern Warfare, this mode is said to reappear. At least that’s what the prominent leaker and YouTuber TheGamingRevolution claims. He supposedly knows what’s really behind the new mode and how it ties into the alleged Battle Royale mode.

Open World and Battle Royale – The Features in the Spec Ops Mode of Modern Warfare
What’s up with the Open World? The biggest highlight of the new Spec Ops is likely the Open World. It is said to be huge and allow gameplay like in an MMO shooter. Like in The Division 2 or Destiny 2, you should be able to move freely on the large map with your coop buddy.
According to the rumor from TheGamingRevolution, there will be up to 80 quests, events, and bosses. Missions are provided by well-known NPCs, including Captain Price.
Who can you play with in coop? According to the leaker, you will have the choice between 20 operators from the main game. Additionally, you can play as both Americans and Russians.
What does the coop mode bring? Besides the great fun you can have with a good coop partner in an open world, there are also tangible rewards in Spec Ops. When you complete missions, you can earn in-game currency that you can spend in other modes of Modern Warfare.
What’s up with the Battle Royale mode? The map already has a hint of Battle Royale in the coop mode, as you jump out of an attack helicopter over the large map without much equipment and have to gather materials.
Will coop and Battle Royale be free to play? TheGamingRevolution also claims to have information on this. He suggests that the coop mode could be free to play. Alternatively, this might also be the case for the rumored Battle Royale mode.
How are fans reacting? In the comments on the video by TheGamingRevolution, fans are excited and hope that the rumors are true:
“I’m so super hyped for CoD MW. I can’t wait!”
“That sounds just too good to be true!”
“If all this is true, it could be the best CoD of all time.”
However, many fans are missing the survival mode from previous games in the series. Some fans also suspect that this mode could appear as an event or mission in the open world.
How likely is it that all this is true? As with all leaks and rumors, the statements from TheGamingRevolution are not official and cannot currently be verified.
Nonetheless, the leaker’s statements sound plausible, and TheGamingRevolution has often published accurate rumors in the past.
We might learn more on August 1, as Infinity Ward plans to release more information about the multiplayer of Modern Warfare.
The Life is Feudal MMO from Bitbox is now officially Free2Play. At least that’s what the developers claim in their latest patch. However, there is a catch.
What is Life is Feudal? Life is Feudal is a sandbox MMO with many survival elements. The goal is to survive in a medieval world, build cities together in a guild, and compete with other guilds.
The game relies heavily on realism and requires a lot of time and dedication to develop your character. The focus is strongly on PvP.

What is new about the payment system? The developers announced in the new patch 0.25.22.5 that Life is Feudal is now “fully Free2Play”.
New and old players will now receive a ticket to Abella and thus to the mainland thanks to the patch. Additionally, they will receive a premium account for three days.
However, for additional characters, a fee of 10 euros is still required. Strictly speaking, it is only Free2Play for one character. By the way, the ticket is not returned if the character gets deleted.
How did the payment system work before? Life is Feudal was originally designed as a Buy2Play MMO. However, since patch 0.2 in February, it has been “Free2Play”.
Players could create a character for free and try it out on the starting island. There they could already test and experience most features.
However, if they wanted to play with guilds and enter the mainland, they had to invest money. A transfer cost around 7 euros.
On the website, however, there is little mention of this. There, under “Get the game,” several packages ranging from 27.99 euros to 92.99 euros are offered first. These include premium accounts for 30 to 90 days, as well as shop currency and 1 to 3 transfer tickets for characters.
Big differences between starting area and mainland
How important is a switch to the mainland? The starting area of Life is Feudal is good for getting to know the game and its features. But the real gaming experience only develops on the mainland, also because all constructed buildings are regularly destroyed to ensure that new players always find a place.
Only on the mainland does guild life begin; there players take care of the maintenance of the lands or their own equipment. Because when switching to the mainland, players retain their skills, but their equipment and inventory are lost.
The map is also huge. It takes over 8 hours to traverse it from north to south, and there are dangers lurking everywhere along the way.
If you really want to get to know the game, you have to tackle switching to the mainland. And one character alone is only enough to experience a fraction of everything in the game.
What are the player numbers of Life is Feudal? The game has been in early access since January 2018 and had a well-populated niche in the meantime. According to Steamcharts, over 3,000 players played it on average in February 2018.
The numbers dropped until the major update 0.2 in February of this year. After a small upswing, the numbers dropped again, and in June, only 573 players on average logged into the MMO.
With the new changes, they hope to attract new players again.
Our author Benedict watched Life is Feudal for more than 40 hours in 2018. Here is his report on it:
A lengthy leak video shows the first gameplay of Marvel’s Avengers. Here are 4 insights that can be drawn from this video.
What kind of video is this? Fresh from Comic Con come two leaked videos, each 6 minutes long, of Marvel’s Avengers. They showcase the first gameplay footage that was originally only presented behind closed doors.
In it, you apparently see the first story mission of the game and the gameplay of all 5 Avengers. Since the videos were filmed, the quality isn’t very high, but some interesting details can still be recognized.

During the battles in the story missions, you switch between the different heroes without interruptions. The order in which you play the characters seems to be determined by the story.
So in the shown story mission, you cannot simply choose an Avenger and just slash through the game with him until the end. The game will force you to switch.
Whether this will be the case for all story missions is still unclear. However, for the multiplayer quests, you will be able to choose your heroes. Although there is the restriction that two players cannot choose the same Avenger.
The combat system uses warning signals like in “Assassin’s Creed” games
During the battles in the video, red exclamation marks and indicators repeatedly appear, for example, above the heads of the opponents.
It is a warning system that you know in a similar form from Assassin’s Creed games. It is meant to signal to the player from which direction an attack is coming.
Just like in AC games, there seems to be a kind of counter system attached to it. You can see in the video multiple times how Thor attacks such marked opponents and the red exclamation mark turns white and then disappears.
The Avengers seem to have their own “super moves”
It can be seen clearly in the videos during, for example, the Thor and Ironman gameplay, that both heroes use extremely powerful-looking attacks during their fights.
Thor creates a shockwave with his hammer and then has a glowing thunder aura around him for some time.
Ironman uses a massive laser beam that tears apart everything in his surroundings.
Captain America slams his shield into the ground and thereby throws the opponents away.
It is possible that these attacks need to be charged first; however, you see very little of the game’s interface in the video. Therefore, it’s hard to say what exactly the triggers for such attacks might be.
However, after Ironman, Thor, and Captain America have shown their “special skills”, one can assume that other Avengers heroes will also have their own cool moves.
Is there more than one game mode?
While Marvel’s Avengers is mostly a third-person action game, there will likely be individual sections that play differently.
When the perspective switches from Thor to Ironman in the video, the gameplay changes from a normal action brawler to a rail shooter. The section isn’t very long, but it suggests that there could be more of this.
In any case, this would give each Avenger hero a unique gameplay feel and make them more distinctive.
Blizzard has revealed new cards for Hearthstone . Now there are the powerful legendaries that are sure to dominate the game in the coming months.
We are quickly heading towards the next expansion in Hearthstone, as “Saviors of Uldum” will be released next month. Blizzard continues to reveal numerous cards from the upcoming addon. Many legendary minions for the classes have been revealed now. Some of them are really, really strong! We show you the 5 new cards.
Sir Finley of the Sands is the new legendary Paladin minion. For 2 Mana, he has solid stats of 2/3, but it is his Battlecry that truly sets this Murloc apart. If the deck contains no duplicate cards, the Paladin discovers an improved hero power. Since this is possible very early in the game, it should guarantee many plays of this card.
Druids get Elise the Enlightened. A minion for 5 Mana with stats of 5/5. Her Battlecry is also special. If the deck contains no duplicate cards, the Druid’s hand is duplicated! So if someone has particularly powerful cards in hand, they can simply double them.
Hunters get Brann the Dinosaur Hunter, a minion with stats of 2/4 for a proud 7 Mana. However, his Battlecry is something special. If the player’s deck contains no duplicate cards, Brann summons King Crunch! This is an 8/8 beast with Charge and will most likely be considered a “finisher.” King Crunch alone normally costs 9 Mana.
Mages are looking forward to the legendary minion Reno the Relicologist. For 6 Mana, he brings stats of 4/6 onto the battlefield. He follows the same principle as the other cards, that no card in the Mage’s deck can be present multiple times. If this is the case, his Battlecry deals 10 damage, which is split among random enemies. This goes well with another Mage card.
Warriors receive the legendary minion Armagürtlon, a beast for 6 Mana with stats of 4/7 and Taunt. Additionally, at the end of each turn, it ensures that all minions with Taunt in the Warrior’s hand receive a +2/+2 boost. Thus, Warriors will soon bring even more strong defenders to the board.
What do you think of these new cards? Are they too strong? Too weak? Or just right to shake up Hearthstone again?
In Apex Legends is currently annoying players with one thing: the excessive muzzle flash visible on some weapons that obscures everything. This seems to be intentional.
What is the problem with weapons in Apex? Many weapons in Apex Legends have a very pronounced muzzle flash. It is so bad that you can’t see anything except colorful lights. Many players completely lose track of the game and either let enemies escape or get taken out themselves.

How serious is the problem: The internet is filled with complaints about the muzzle flash. Various well-known streamers have also expressed their frustration:
The former Overwatch pro Seagull was taken out along with his buddy because he lost sight of the enemies in the battle due to all the light effects. The enemy killed him and his teammate. “I can’t see him, I can’t see him, this is so stupid!” were his last words in the game.
Dr. Disrespect was so confused by all the effects, which also occur with hits, that he got shot and then loudly complained about what he saw as stupid hit feedback: “It shouldn’t feel like my screen is going to explode!”
A player named Cassiopeia93 could no longer see where his opponent was after he was firing continuously from an elevated position. Thus, the opponent was able to escape and foil a safe kill. “This is just borderline disgusting!” was the feedback from a Reddit thread on this.

Why is the muzzle flash suddenly a topic? Curiously, the muzzle flash was not an issue in Apex Legends until Patch 1.2. Because until then, you had the option to simply turn off the annoying light show.
But with the update, this option disappeared and now you have to live with it. Worse still, it seems that this was not a bug or oversight.

That’s why the strong muzzle flash is intentional: Rather, the developers have added the muzzle flash as an additional difficulty since there are rare weapon upgrades for the barrel that specifically reduce the muzzle flash.
It seems that Respawn wants to give players a clear advantage who manage to obtain such a valuable barrel upgrade. Of course, most players find this rather annoying, as it means that everyone else has little fun shooting.
So it remains to be seen whether Respawn will have a change of heart and either reintroduce the option to turn it off or reduce the “muzzle flash disco” to a bearable level.
EA Sports promises numerous innovations and gameplay improvements for FIFA 20. Most fans will be able to find out how these actually affect gameplay earliest at Gamescom or at the demo release.
However, FIFA pro MoAuba has already been able to play an unfinished version of FIFA 20 and shares his experiences.
Who is MoAuba? Mohammed Harkous is a German FIFA pro from SV Werder Bremen. He is a 4-time German champion in FIFA and a top-4 player on PlayStation. He is also part of the new German FIFA national team.
What the pro says: According to MoAuba, FIFA 20 feels significantly different from its predecessor. In particular, the well-known meta bugs that allowed for simple goals are said to be toned down now. This includes spamming special moves in the penalty area or the popular and often exploited bug cross. Header shots are also said no longer to be as effective.
Additionally, he noticed 3 things that are new in FIFA 20:
New L1 dribbling – The ball is supposed to be closer to the player and allow for quicker direction changes
Uneven pitches – The ball is supposed to bounce on uneven surfaces
What we already know: Some innovations are indeed to be expected in FIFA 20. The standard systems for free kicks and penalties have been completely overhauled. According to EA, the ball physics are also said to be significantly more realistic.
However, the biggest innovation is likely to be the new street mode “VOLTA”. In this mode, you can play small, skillful matches in backyards like in FIFA Street.
