In the fourth quarter of 2019, the new Update 24 for The Elder Scrolls Online is set to be released. New information about changes to the combat system has now been announced.
What changes are being made to the classes? Wheeler is satisfied with the Necromancer class kit and reports that many players wish for a stronger identity for their class.
This is to be improved with Update 24 for the classes:
Dragon Knight
Warden
and Sorcerer
Skills that currently just deal damage will be adjusted, making them fit better with the playstyle of each respective class.
Further in-depth changes are planned for the future and other classes, but Update 24 should significantly enhance the identity of the three mentioned.
DoTs have been too strong since the last updates
What major changes to the combat system are still planned? In Update 22 and 23, the damage and heal over time effects were improved, causing the meta in PvP to shift significantly.
However, Wheeler reports that the developers may have gone a bit too far with their goals. Therefore, they plan to reduce damage, but not healing over time.
This change is intended to restore balance.
What are players most discussing? In a reddit thread regarding the announcement, there is much discussion about a bug fix. Soon, a bug will be fixed that allowed players to sprint indefinitely when dismounting from a mount.
Apparently, there are several bugs related to this. The infinite sprinting on the mount seems to be an “intended bug,” while the infinite sprinting on foot will now be fixed.
Update 23 was only released in August for ESO and brought the Scalebreaker expansion and several quality-of-life changes.
According to Sensortower, the game earned around 110 million dollars worldwide in August. Thus, August was not only the best month since September 2016, but also the fourth-best month ever. Only July 2016 (256 million dollars), August 2016 (195 million dollars), and September 2016 (141 million dollars) generated more revenue for the game. Even July 2019 was significantly more successful compared to the previous months.
The battles against Team Rocket members presented a new battle feature and were well received. But were the villains really the only reason for the success?
What does Team Rocket have to do with the success?
The player “JakeyYNG” even launched the app again only because of Rayquaza: “I was out for a few months and came back just for Shiny Rayquaza. I hope it returns in the next years. I will probably be a hardcore PoGo player just for Shiny Rayquaza raids.” Many commenters agreed with this opinion. Especially because Rayquaza could be defeated in duo, led players to spend a lot of raid passes – says “JerBear_2008“.
Shiny Rayquaza brought many trainers to raid
Apart from Team Rocket and Rayquaza, there was still plenty to do. Among other things, the Water Festival took place and the Jirachi quest also started. Furthermore, it should not be neglected that it was still summer – and in summer, roaming around outside and catching is just more fun.
In a few weeks, FIFA 20 will be released. The predecessor often caused frustration – the community compiled a comprehensive list of many reasons for this.
Sancho was originally not supposed to play on the left
Community collects 130 mistakes during the season
Community on the lookout for errors: In February, the user “Redditallbefore123” posted the “Complete Collection of FIFA 19 Content Mistakes” in the FIFA subreddit, neatly ordered by date. The user primarily focused on content errors, such as those in FUT cards, SBCs, or posts from EA’s official Twitter channel.
Server errors or gameplay aspects were not included in the list. From that point on, “Redditallbefore123” expanded the list with every single error, receiving help from the community, which pointed out further errors in the comments.
In the end, the list totaled 130 mistakes. Included were: Incorrect rewards, faulty player upgrades, strange rewards for the Weekend League, incorrectly stated nationalities of players, and much more.
This week, the list officially came to an end. The community ceremoniously bid farewell with a video that you can watch here:

Can FIFA 20 have mistakes already? Only indirectly – the game isn’t out yet. However, the team behind it has already made a few mistakes. These have been ruthlessly added to the new list by the community. As it stands, FIFA 20 has three mistakes according to the fan list:
EA announced for Pro Clubs that the Virtual Pro can also take the positions LM/RM. However, this was already the case before.
The player Van Dijk was referred to as “Van Dyke” in a post about the cover release.
When releasing the stats for Zinedine Zidane, the values on the website differed from those on social media channels.
The author “Reditallbefore123” expressed confidence in his new post that EA would make fewer mistakes this year: “Come on, you can do it.” Will he be right?
For most players, the content errors in FIFA 20 are likely to be of secondary importance. The more exciting question is about gameplay – when you will get to test it, you can find out here:
Wattson now has the “low profile” attribute and therefore takes 5% more damage to her health points.
The maximum number of standing interceptor pylons has been reduced to 1.
This is the effect of the nerfs: Due to the increased damage, Wattson is brought in line with other legends like Wraith, Lifeline, and Octane, who also take more damage.
For these legends, the increased damage comes from the fact that they are harder to hit due to smaller hitboxes.
The hitbox of Wattson is apparently compared to that of Wraith.
The interceptor pylon is Wattson’s ultimate ability and blocks grenades within range, charges her tactical ability faster, and provides shields to team members. She can now only place one.
Fans are unhappy about the nerf
This is how fans react: In the corresponding reddit post about the Voidwalker event patch, players have shared their thoughts. Both the new event and the new unlockable items are well received. However, the nerf on Wattson is less so.
Players suspect that the nerf is based on numbers that Wattson achieves in tournaments and at higher ranks, where she is often played, while she is hardly seen in matches with the majority of “normal” players.
Wattson fans defend their legend
This is being criticized: This decision to cater to top players instead of the majority is being criticized. But the nerfs themselves are also being criticized from different perspectives:
Wattson is already a “headshot magnet” with her hitbox. Now that she takes more damage, she is an even easier target.
Her size also does not match the fact that she now takes more damage, especially compared to other tanks, who even take less damage.
Some fans find the “low profile” nerf acceptable, but cannot understand what her passive ability is good for if she can only place one pylon.
Generally, it seems that Wattson can no longer fulfill her role as a “tank” or be useful outside high-ranking matches. Whether the fears will be confirmed remains to be seen.
The balance in Apex Legends may change soon anyway. With Season 3 in October, a new legend is likely to be introduced:

At the end of August, a new mobile MMORPG called Perfect World was released in Germany. It has already been extremely successful in Asia and now aims to impress the West.
What is Perfect World Mobile? Perfect World is an MMORPG that was released 14 years ago in China and came to the West in 2008. It still receives updates today.
The mobile version was released in Asia in March 2019 and arrived in Europe on August 22. Perfect World Mobile features the following:
A large game world covering 60,000 square kilometers
Dungeons, raids, and PvP
Three playable races
The iconic flight system and aerial combat
Memories of the old MMORPG and nostalgia
How can I download it? The MMORPG is available for you on the Google Play Store as well as in the Apple Store. The download of Perfect World Mobile is free and, with future updates, will be around 4 gigabytes.
However, please note that there is only an English and a Chinese language option.

How is the mobile MMORPG performing? Perfect World is doing especially well in China, where the mobile game has a large fan base and is frequently played.
But overall, it belongs to the most successful mobile games in the world, even without a release in the West. In March, it held the first place in the SuperData ranking.
In the following months, it consistently placed in the top 5. It only dropped out of there in July.
Lots of nostalgia and detail, but also limitations
What do Western players say? On September 5 at 12:00 PM, there were 5,200 reviews in the Google Play Store, averaging 4/5 stars.
User Valentin Hurel writes:
Perfect game, not pay-to-win like many others in the Play Store. Good progression, enjoyable gameplay, only the dungeon matchmaking needs a fix. [..]
Perfect game for a perfect world 🙂 5/5
Other players also highlight that it is not pay-to-win, there are no loot boxes or similar content. Moreover, the nostalgia factor seems to attract many fans.
Most reviews begin with the players already having experience with Perfect World on PC. They are impressed by how well the implementation in the mobile version has worked.
What problems are there with the game? Most 1-star ratings are due to issues with the app, crashes, or slow downloads. However, there are also harsh criticisms.
User Anno Hino writes:
Greedy game, limited inventory space, limited number of experience points per day, everything costs different currency and there are lags, too.
Additionally, some comments criticize the poor graphics, which were promised to be next generation. Others, however, like the nostalgia factor of the old graphics.
Mobile MMORPGs are on the rise. Black Desert is also about to join the fray:
In less than a month, Destiny 2 Shadowkeep and the Free-2-Play version New Light will launch. Just before the launch, Bungie has now reduced the price of existing paid content. Some will even be free. However, not all players are happy about this.
What is changing? Just before the release of Shadowkeep, Bungie is trying to ensure that as many Guardians as possible start the new era of Destiny 2 with the same content and can experience everything the game has to offer together.
Therefore
the Destiny 2 Complete Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One is being reduced in price. It now costs €24.99 in the respective stores. This offer will also be available on Steam starting October 1st.
all owners of Forsaken, who do not yet own the Annual Pass for Year 2, will receive it for free on September 17th.

What does it mean for the players? For players who already own Forsaken as well as the Annual Pass content, nothing changes.
However, if you have purchased the Forsaken expansion but refrained from buying the Annual Pass, you will soon receive the Annual Pass for Year 2 for free. You will thus gain free access to the premium content of Seasons 5 to 7 – that is, the complete Year 2 content.
Players who have not yet obtained Forsaken and the corresponding Annual Pass, or who may want to start with the Free-2-Play version Destiny 2: New Light, now have an opportunity to purchase the missing paid content at a lower price in a package.
Because the Destiny 2 Forsaken Complete Collection includes the base game, all previously released expansions including Forsaken, and the Annual Pass for Year 2.
Even if you switch from PS4 or Xbox One to PC via Cross-Save, you now have an opportunity to purchase the missing paid content in a budget-friendly bundle so you can use it on the new platform as well.
What do the fans say about this? Currently, this news is being received with mixed feelings. On one hand, many Guardians are happy that the Annual Pass for Forsaken owners is becoming free. Some are even calling it a very customer-friendly move. However, there are also many fans who are upset about it.
After all, they paid €35 for this content less than a year ago when they purchased the Annual Pass individually. Many of them are now asking Bungie: What about us? About those who already own the Annual Pass? Those who have already spent money on it? What makes it particularly frustrating is that some players just recently bought the pass.
However, it is currently unknown whether there will be any form of reward, bonus, or similar compensation for Guardians who already own the Year 2 Pass. Bungie has not commented on this yet.
What do you think of this step? A fair gesture or a slap in the face for all previous Annual Pass buyers?
Apparently, the streaming service Twitch is facing a problem. The number 1 on the platform, the Fortnite streamer Tfue, has used a racist slur for which he should actually be banned. But that would be his 3rd ban and therefore permanent.
Why should Tfue be banned? The streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney has lately been extremely upset about Fortnite – the game he owes his rise on Twitch to.
Therefore, Tfue was playing Minecraft, but a situation also escalated there.

As can be heard in a clip, he curses in a strange accent at one point. It could be meant ironically. However, he uses the word “Nigger” – and that is clearly against Twitch’s rules. Streamers have already been banned from Twitch for using the “N-word” – even if the word was hardly understandable.
As the site “The Verge” reports, Tfue deleted it later, but the clip is going around.
Tfue in a podcast
Tfue already banned temporarily 2 times
That’s why the ban would now be permanent: Normally, Tfue should be banned for this action. The ban would likely be over 14 days. However, Tfue has already received 2 temporary bans from Twitch:
Once he was suspended in May 2018 for an unspecified reason. He did not want to comment further on it at the time. He said: “14 days – I got banned from Twitch for stupid, stupid stuff I did.” It wasn’t even serious, just stupid. (via dotesports)
On the other occasion, he was banned by Twitch for calling a player “Coon” in August 2018 – that is also a racist slur. Tfue later stated that he certainly did not mean it racially and apologized for it.

Is Twitch losing its 2nd Fortnite star after Ninja?
That’s why it’s so delicate: With 7 million followers, Tfue is currently the largest active streamer on Twitch. Therefore, one wonders whether Twitch can really afford to be consistent and ban Tfue. That would surely be a setback for the platform, after they have already lost Ninja.
A statement from Twitch is still pending. They do not comment on “individual streamers,” they told The Verge in response to their inquiry.
In the past, there have been cases where Twitch showed mercy due to special circumstances.
Ninja, until August 1, the number 1 on Twitch, now streams for Mixer.
How did Tfue’s rise begin? Tfue had already been a good player for a long time and was quite successful in games like Destiny or H1Z1. But it really took off in spring 2018 when the hype around Fortnite increased.
Tfue joined the eSport clan FaZe in April 2018. Since then, he has gradually become a huge hit on Twitch. Fans saw him as a worthy rival to Ninja. His channel grew enormously.
Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is full of secrets waiting to be discovered by you. One of these puzzles is the many dead Guardians on the Moon. A T-shirt reveals what is behind the floating corpses.
Wait, which corpses? In recent trailers for the Destiny 2 expansion “Shadowkeep”, numerous floating Guardians have appeared on the Moon. However, they are all dead. They float there as a kind of shadowy corpses.
The Bungie Store Brings Clarity
What is up with these corpses? Many Guardians have speculated about this since the first sighting. A T-shirt from the official Bungie Store could now provide some insight. The shirt features five of these corpses. The product description reveals that these five Guardians belong to the former fireteam of Eris Morn. They once delved deep beneath the surface of the Moon along with Eris and with the exception of Eris, did not return alive.
Experienced players had speculated about this. However, it now finally clarifies where the other corpses come from.
The floating dead Guardians are the victims of the Great Disaster – a battle that took place on the Moon where they confronted Crota, the Hive Prince. Crota consumed the light of the Guardians in this battle, which have now apparently been activated by the actions of Eris in the context of the Shadowkeep story.
This is the Story Behind It
This is what we know about the Great Disaster: After the Vanguard became aware of the existence of the Hive on the Moon, they decided to fight against this enemy. However, Lord Shaxx was convinced that this was not a wise decision. He warned against the powerful Ascendant Swords and the Knights of the Hive. According to Shaxx, the swords are unlike any other weapon and extremely powerful.
The Shadows of the Dead Guardians in Destiny 2
However, the warning was ignored and thus a battle broke out on the Moon. In this battle, hundreds of Guardians died, and Crota stole their light. His Hive army was far superior to the Vanguard and their warriors, and thus the battle went down in history as “The Great Disaster.” Only a few survived the fight, and since then, the Moon has been considered a forbidden zone. From this moment on, it should only be visited if absolutely necessary.
Formation of Eris’ Fireteam Among the few survivors of the battle was also Eriana-3. She swore revenge on Crota and formed a fireteam with five other Guardians. Eris Morn was a member of this group. In Destiny lore, the strike team is known as the first Crota fireteam or Eris’s fireteam.
Together, they returned to the Moon to confront the Hive and avenge all the dead Guardians. However, only Eris Morn survived this journey into the Hellmouth, where Crota nested. Her five companions were killed and since then have also been part of the floating corpses on the Moon.
How does all of this fit into Shadowkeep? As already known, we need to return to the Moon in the new expansion. We will encounter the floating, dead Guardians at various locations there. It is also well known that both Eris Morn and the Hive will play a significant role again. After all, the Hive now has a huge fortress there, and we need to find out what exactly is behind it.
We also know that Eris Morn has come across a dark power that we will fight on the Moon.
Since the first trailer, fans have speculated whether the floating shadows could really be Eris’ fireteam. The T-shirt from the store has now put an end to this speculation. Additionally, it finally clarifies what is behind the many floating corpses on the Moon.
Could you already guess what was behind the floating shadows?
Today marks the start of Fortnite: Battle Royale Week 6 of Season X. It kicks off with the Boogie Down challenges. A leak now shows what dance tasks await you.
What has been leaked? During a season, Fortnite: Battle Royale regularly launches new tasks. The weekly Boogie Down tasks, which are set to start today, September 5th, have already been found by data miners. We will show them to you here in an overview.
Boogie Down in Fortnite – The Tasks
As the data miners show, there are again several normal tasks and then the Prestige challenges. The following tasks were shown by data miner Lucas7yoshi on Twitter. Completing these tasks rewards you with Battlestars and cosmetic items.
How realistic is this leak? In recent weeks, the weekly challenges have been reliably read from the code by data miners. It is assumed that this leak is also correct.
We can only be sure at 3:00 PM when Epic Games officially presents the weekly challenges. We will then present the individual tasks here on MeinMMO Guides so that you can quickly complete the challenges.
Until then, you can still diligently find the chamber symbols in Fortnite, as they are only in the game for a few more days:
The time has come: The first character to reach level 60 in WoW Classic has been deleted. Jokerd was finally able to execute his plan. However, it only lasted a few seconds before he quickly backtracked.
Why is he deleting his character? When Jokerd reached level 60 in WoW Classic after just a few days on Friday, August 30 his first plan was to delete his character immediately, but he was unable to do so at that time.
Players kept sending him letters. However, a character cannot be deleted with unread letters in the mailbox, so Jokerd had to hold on to his gnome mage. People just celebrated and congratulated him too much.
According to some rumors from players, a GM eventually helped him delete all the letters. In a recent stream, he finally went through with what he intended to do.

Someone must have prompted him, because he then says: “Delete the character?” and was already in the selection screen and deleted his gnome.
What happened next? The moment was likely a shock for the thousands of viewers. Since his success his channel on Twitch has risen to the top. At that time, about 10,000 people were watching him (via dotesports).
After disappearing from the PC, Jokerd returned quite soon, with a mischievous grin, and restored his gnome using the in-game recovery function in WoW. So it was just a bluff.

This is what players say: Although there was a lot of excitement in his chat at the time about the deletion, the WoW Classic community seems to be rather relaxed about the deletion. In a reddit post fans comment that it’s mostly about the memes.
It has become a kind of meme because his original plan was to delete the character immediately upon reaching level 60 (when he had 350,000 viewers).
In the top comment, people even joked that he would level his second character to level 60 before Asmongold. That would be the “ultimate meme”. Asmongold himself is currently in a tough position in the community:
The MMORPG classic Ragnarok Online returns. This version aims to be a mix of the online game as it was in the beginning, but it also offers some modern elements.

What does the Classic version offer? Ragnarok Online has changed significantly over the years. The game that it was in the beginning in 2002 played somewhat differently. Therefore, you can now expect the following from the Revo-Classic version:
You start the adventure as it was before and visit the familiar places from the MMORPG classic. These include initially Prontera, Geffen, Payon, Alberta, Morocco, Aldebaran, Yuno, Comodo, Izlude, Umbala, Lutie, Jawaii, and Glastheim
Your hero reaches the maximum level of 99/70, and there is no third class
Revo Classic features large wars, and you can enhance your hero using complex talent trees.
Furthermore, the MMORPG is expected to be regularly expanded with new content such as additional game areas
You can get started right away
Why is a retro version coming? One might think that the publisher simply wants to hop on the classic trend, which has been so successful with WoW Classic. However, after the discontinuation of the international version of Ragnarok Online, players demanded a new version of the MMORPG.
Since Ragnarok Online Revo-Classic has been successfully running in countries such as Thailand and the Philippines for about two years and retro is just “in”, this version is now being released.
When does the version start? It is now possible to participate. The new publisher 4game has launched an open beta that anyone can join.
How do you play? You simply visit the official website of Ragnarok Online Revo-Classic and download the client there. Install it and create an account. Then, you can start playing.
What does the beta offer? During the open beta, you can participate in events through which you can earn interesting rewards:
The first player to reach the maximum level will receive a special and legendary Crown of Power without bonus features
Additionally, the player can enhance a weapon to +7
Furthermore, there are 12 awards for players in each class who reach the maximum level. They also receive the Crown of Power and the ability to enhance weapons to +7.
What do players say about Revo-Classic? Apparently, there are two camps of Ragnarok fans. Those who grew up with the game and experienced all the changes, and those who cannot relate much to all the innovations.
Therefore, opinions are also divided regarding the Revo-Classic version of the anime MMORPG. Some find the retro flair appealing because Ragnarok Online plays more like it did in its early days. Others have gotten used to how the online game has changed over the years and find Revo-Classic to be less modern.
However, players are generally happy to be able to play Ragnarok Online again, even in a classic variant.
While Guild Wars 2 has just announced the continuation of the Living World, questions about a future expansion keep arising. A PR manager has now commented on this.
What did the PR manager say? Justin Fassino confirmed in an interview with PCGamesN that ArenaNet is aware of the community’s wishes regarding an expansion:
I think the important thing is that everyone in the studio knows that an expansion is desired. It’s not as if we are ruling it out.
Therefore, an add-on like Path of Fire for Guild Wars 2 is not out of the question for the future.
The new Charr band awaits in the prologue of the Icebrood Saga
Game Director Mike Zadorojny announced the continuation in the form of free updates back in the summer of 2018 and continues to believe that this is the right path:
We know that for the things we want to release – Quality of Life improvements, the story we want to tell – the Icebrood Saga is the best way to provide our players with free content.
When does the Icebrood Saga start? The prologue “Bound by Blood” is set to be released on September 17. It will take players to the new area of Grothmar Valley in the northeast of the map.
There, the Charr take center stage, wanting to celebrate and reorganize after the battles with the Elder Dragons. This also leads to conflicts with our ally Rytlock Brimstone and the leader of the Blood Legion.
If you haven’t started playing Guild Wars 2 yet, now is the perfect time to get into it:
For a long time, it was unclear whether the action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 would get a multiplayer mode or not. Now there is finally a clear statement from the developers.
What has CD Projekt announced? For a long time, it was unclear whether Cyberpunk 2077 would get a multiplayer mode.
However, the developers have now officially confirmed via Twitter that they are working on such a mode. Cyberpunk 2077 will definitely have a multiplayer part.

When will the mode come? The team wants to focus on finishing the RPG first. After that, single-player DLCs will be released with new content.
Only then does CD Projekt Red intend to release the multiplayer part.
The back and forth is over
What has been the situation with the multiplayer mode so far? CD Projekt Red has repeatedly been asked whether Cyberpunk 2077 would get a multiplayer part. Sometimes the answer was “yes”, sometimes “no”. Then it was said that while multiplayer is planned, it would not be included at launch in the RPG. There was a lot of confusion.
Will we see future blockbusters like Cyberpunk 2077 in October?
Why was there this back and forth regarding the multiplayer part? There are several reasons for this:
CD Projekt Red wants to primarily develop a single-player RPG with an engaging story. That is the priority. The team is known for it, and fans expect it.
However, multiplayer is now mandatory. You engage more players through an online mode and can monetize it better, such as through the sale of skins.
CD Projekt Red did not want to neglect the actual single-player base game, which is why they focused on that and quietly considered whether and how to integrate a multiplayer mode that would not interfere with the single-player part.
Apparently, they have now had the breakthrough idea.
What will the multiplayer mode look like? CD Projekt Red has not yet spoken about that. It is only said that such a mode will come after the release of the game.

How could the multiplayer part look? There are many possibilities for how the developers could integrate multiplayer into Cyberpunk 2077. The important thing is that the single-player part does not suffer.
It will probably be a separate mode
Perhaps we will fight against other players in some kind of PvP arena
Maybe we can expect something like GTA Online. An online version of the city Night City, where we can complete missions together with other players.
A multiplayer part like in Mass Effect 3 is also conceivable. You get special missions to complete in teams on separate maps.
How are the players reacting to the announcement? Many find it very interesting that Cyberpunk 2077 will now get a multiplayer part after all. People are curious to see what CD Projekt Red can achieve.
Fans are particularly pleased that the developers want to take the necessary time to do it right and that the single-player part of Cyberpunk 2077 has priority and will be completed first.
Are you also looking forward to playing Cyberpunk 2077 in multiplayer?
After the heavy buffs to skills and their mods in the last major Title Update 5 of The Division 2, skill builds are finally a real alternative to the previous meta setups. This can also be seen in the raid “Dark Hours”.
The current state of skill builds: Builds with a high number of skill attributes, i.e., skill builds, were long considered useless in the Division community. Most agents therefore relied on red or blue builds, focusing on damage (red) or armor (blue). Even after Title Update 5, where skills were significantly strengthened, some agents are still skeptical about skill builds.
The talents that must be sacrificed to allow an effective focus on the yellow skill attributes are too valuable for many players. A pure focus on skills seems not rewarding enough for them.
Nevertheless, since the update, pure skill builds can now also prevail, which increasingly focus on the yellow attributes and skills.
How strong skill builds have become: A build with high skill strength and some powerful mods has become a truly effective all-round weapon since Title Update 5. For example, with a skill build, the chem launcher heals a good portion of armor in fractions of a second, and a drone keeps helpless enemies at bay for several minutes.
The fact that yellow builds are now a serious alternative in even the most demanding activities and no longer just a gimmick is demonstrated by the video of a dedicated team around YouTuber “Alldayanyday On The PS4”. In the following clip, his fireteam defeats the raid Dark Hours exclusively with skill-oriented builds and thereby impressively underscores the current strength of skills:

In the video, the 8-member task force dismantles the raid bosses in a choreography of explosive skill fireworks and relentless fire. “Alldayanyday On The PS4” and his team reportedly took about 40 minutes for the run. While that’s not a record time, it’s still respectable considering that the raid on console was once considered almost impossible.
Why was this not possible before Title Update 5? In short: The skill-based builds were simply too weak. A talent like “Berserker”, available on the vest and activated after seven red damage attributes, gave a gun-happy player at best 50% extra weapon damage. In contrast, yellow talents like “On the Ropes”, available on the backpack and activated after seven yellow skill attributes, offered a maximum of a 25% increase in weapon damage.
The performance difference between the talents was too great and was not compensated for by correspondingly strong skills. The developers recognized the lack of balance and significantly improved this in the course of Title Update 5.
Due to the strong buffs, players are no longer faced with the choice – short cooldown or high damage. The cooldowns have also been completely overhauled. Furthermore, the damage and skill duration of most skills have been revised. In addition, the skill mods, which require a certain skill strength to be used, have been massively strengthened as well.
Don’t have a skill build yet? Here’s why it’s worth it now: Even now, six weeks after the release of Title Update 5, the positive development of skill builds has not sunk in for many players.
Skill builds have now become a considerable alternative and can even overshadow some pure damage builds. Moreover, they provide a welcome change to pure gunplay and can, in some situations, be even more effective than using firearms from cover.

A large new update for Anthem was recently deployed to the servers. The patch not only brought new features for the ongoing Cataclysm, but also a little secret. If you keep your eyes open in the Emerald Abyss, you might find a new cutscene.
What is this secret? On the evening of September 4th, a huge new update for Anthem was released. Patch 1.40 brought a new event for the Cataclysm, new War Chests, and several bug fixes as well as quality-of-life changes.
In addition, the official Twitter account of Anthem announced a little secret before the update. Players were advised to take a closer look at the sights around the Emerald Abyss. You never know what tomorrow may hold for them.
What is there to see? As you approach the Emerald Abyss, you will immediately notice the huge, serpent-like structure reaching up to the sky. This is a relic of the Shapers or a part of a Shaper machine that has suddenly risen. All of this is connected to the Cataclysm and is meant to show how the world changes with the event.
But that’s not all there is to see. A little south of the ruins of the Sanctuary, you can find a chest that you can activate to see a new cutscene.
Yes, it took me a while to find the chest with the cutscene. But it is located at this spot
Where can you find the cutscene? Head into the Emerald Abyss and stick to the ruins. Stay south and follow the river to a small waterfall that hides a hole you can dive into. Stand on this “waterfall” and look at the serpent-like Shaper structure. Now look to the right and you will see the cliff in the distance.
Watch out for small stairs and two torches. The chest is located a bit higher and overlooks the valley.
If you haven’t found the chest yet or want to watch the clip again, we’ve embedded the appropriate YouTube video for you:

The new update for Battlefield 5 not only brought new content and improvements to the game – a problem seems to have crept in with the new patch. This is how the developers are responding.
This update is about: On September 3, Battlefield 5 finally received update 4.4 after some delays. This included fresh content such as the two new maps “Provence” and “Lofoten Islands”. The progression system was also expanded, and there were various adjustments and improvements for different areas of the game.
Players report that sometimes fewer servers are displayed than usual. Servers that still show available spots cannot be accessed. Additionally, matchmaking does not seem to always work as it should. European players are, for instance, matched with Japanese and American players, all of whom exhibit a very high ping. For some fans, the multiplayer is essentially unplayable.
However, not all players appear to be affected by this problem. Some hardly notice the issues at all.
This is how DICE is responding: The developers have also noticed these problems. They are already working on the issue.
Initially, they thought it might be a display error. However, it appears to be a more serious problem. Because shortly after DICE confirmed the high pings, the studio stated that they had now assembled a dedicated team to address this issue. The matter is at the top of their priority list.
They do not want players to struggle with this for long. They will provide regular updates throughout the week. So it seems that this issue cannot be resolved quickly.
What is ping anyway? Ping, or latency, refers to the time measured in milliseconds that a data packet takes for transmission to a server and back. The lower the ping value, the better. Because the faster the packet was.
Are you also affected by this problem? Or have you not noticed any change and the multiplayer runs smoothly for you?

Overwatch for the Switch: What fans have been waiting for
Since the leak with the case, suspicions have intensified that a release is imminent. Accordingly, many players are very happy. However, they are even more concerned about what a port of Overwatch to a Nintendo system could mean for other games.
Many fans are wondering if the announcement for Overwatch on the Switch holds the possibility of bringing the popular heroine Tracer to Super Smash Bros.. The series is famous for its many heroes from various games and franchises.
With Overwatch on the Switch, another guest appearance of an external hero would be conceivable. However, until that happens, you’ll have to be satisfied with other platforms. Only ranked play is currently not available:
In Fortnite you can now find red balloons on the map. Players suspect that this will be an event with Pennywise related to the new horror thriller “It Chapter 2”. We will show you what is new.
What is new on the Fortnite map? Players report that they are finding red balloons in various locations on the Season 10 Fortnite map. These are tied to drains with a string and are clearly visible floating in the air.
These red balloons are typical for the It franchise. The clown Pennywise from the movie “It” uses these red balloons to lure his victims to doom. The appearance of these balloons in Fortnite suggests that Epic is starting an event. This is because the release of “It Chapter 2” is approaching.
What do the balloons look like on the map? You can find them in various locations on the map. We found this one in Pleasant Park:
At first glance, the balloon looks insignificant. When you destroy it, you hear a creepy laugh that strongly resembles Pennywise’s laugh. It sounds like he is hiding among the balloons in the drains.
In the Fortnite News video, you can see this balloon and also hear the dull giggling when the balloon is destroyed.

What does Epic Games say? There is currently no official explanation about the event. Players are now waiting for the team to respond. Since the horror film is already being released today, September 5, in German cinemas and will have its US release on Friday, this announcement should not take long.
What will come to the game? It is assumed that there will be some challenges related to this event where you can earn cosmetics. Perhaps a clown outfit or a glider with a red balloon.
When the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are asked in an interview about microtransactions and loot boxes in the game, there’s a little tease about what fans can expect.
Where does the info come from? Developers Joe Cecot and Taylor Kurosaki from Infinity Ward addressed numerous questions from the community regarding the upcoming Modern Warfare 2019 in a Q&A session by Game Informer.
They were specifically asked by a fan about loot boxes and microtransactions in the game – a hotly debated topic within the community.
What the developers said: The fan wanted to know: “Let’s be honest, there will be loot boxes in this game, right?”
In their response, the developers did not go into details about microtransactions or loot boxes – they stated it wasn’t possible at this time. However, they explained their philosophy in this area with a concrete example.
They are working very hard on the new Modern Warfare to create a “Players first” or “Player forward” system. This is very important to the developers. They want players to have access to new content and enjoy it when it is introduced into the game. This is a major focus. They want players to enjoy the game.
As an example, Cecot mentioned the so-called weapon camos, which are weapon skins. These are intended to be earned through in-game challenges, with the exception of some promotional items. They want these camos to become a kind of status symbol in Modern Warfare. When you see a player with a specific skin on their weapon, you should immediately recognize: this person worked hard for it.
That’s why it’s such a hot topic right now: As of now, almost nothing is known about microtransactions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Many fans are worried about this.
People don’t know what to expect, and that alone is causing many fans headaches – especially regarding the aggressive microtransaction policy in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and other predecessors. There is a strong fear that the latest installment in the “Call of Duty” series could take the same route, and fans would like clarity in advance. After all, Modern Warfare has plenty of opportunities for this.
