In Borderlands 3, a new patch will be released tonight to fix some major bugs. In addition to performance, game content like the Pipe Bomb will also be adjusted.
When will the new patch be released? The new patch is expected to be released tonight at 12:00 AM our time or a little earlier.
It primarily focuses on performance, adjustments to the UI, and the split-screen mode, which has already received some criticism on the technical side.
On Reddit, most players mourn the Pipe Bomb, which made the game extremely easier for them.
What happened to the Pipe Bomb? The Porcelain Pipe Bomb is a weapon that you can earn through a side quest with Claptrap and use with every character.
Currently, due to a bug, it explodes multiple times when colliding with objects and huge bosses. According to the patch notes, this was never intended:
This grenade should never explode multiple times. All enemies in the Borderlands universe are now protected from instant death by radioactive debris.
What does the patch bring for game stability? Borderlands 3 still faces several performance issues. Especially on the Xbox One, the game freezes or even crashes completely.
The new patch brings “general stability improvements.” However, it is unclear whether it will address all problems and crashes.
This uncertainty also unsettles players and causes skepticism in the subreddit. The performance issues were so severe at release that players turned to the Steam forums, even though Borderlands 3 was released exclusively on the Epic Store.
What changes with the split-screen? In multiplayer and split-screen, there have been ongoing issues with the sound in general, volume levels, and the echo menu. Many of these problems will be addressed by the patch.
What else is changing? Gearbox is also making some adjustments to the UI with the new patch. You can find the complete patch notes for the update on September 26 on the Borderlands 3 website.

In Fortnite, we are in Week 9 of Season 10. As in every week, there are challenges to complete. This time the theme is “Bullseye”. The task is: Land a bottle flip on a target near a giant fish, llama, or pig.
What is this task? This week the challenges revolve around “Bullseye”. For one of the prestige tasks, you need to land a bottle flip on a fish, llama, or pig. You can choose one of these locations and perform the bottle flip there.
What is this bottle flip? The bottle flip is an emote that can be unlocked at level 37 in the Battle Pass. Once you have unlocked this emote, it’s best to equip it for quick access. When you are near the giant fish, llama, or pig, you can perform a bottle flip.
We show you an overview of where you can find these “animals” to perform the bottle flip.
Giant Fish – Location
Where do you need to make the bottle flip? You can find the fish at the water sources. It stands in a spring and is made entirely of wood. Once you are at the giant fish, a prompt will appear indicating where you need to perform the bottle flip.
Location on the map:
Llama – Location
Where do you need to make the bottle flip? You can find the llama on a hill near Junk Junction. It is made entirely of metal and is highly visible. Once you are at the llama, a prompt will appear indicating where you need to perform the bottle flip.
Location on the map:
Pig – Location
Where do you need to make the bottle flip? You can find the pig on a hill next to Lucky Landing. It is made entirely of stone. Once you are at the pig, a prompt will appear indicating where you need to perform the bottle flip.
Location on the map:
Note: Keep in mind that you only need to perform the bottle flip once at one of these locations. You can choose between these 3 locations where you want to do it. The bottle flip only counts as completed when the bottle stands upright.
If you succeed, the challenge is considered completed and you can focus on the remaining tasks.
The mechs explode after the update 10.40, suddenly when they land. What’s going on?
Borderlands 3 has many strong classes. Probably the most powerful for the endgame is soldier Moze. With this solo build for the shooter, you can destroy everything in no time.
What kind of class is Moze? Moze is a former soldier of Vladof. She is well suited for both solo and cooperative players. Moze loves big guns and robots. She comes with a mecha – Iron Bear. This supports you like a tank on two legs.
In this build, you focus on only 1 health point (HP) and a high shield. The goal is to deal as much damage as quickly as possible. This is particularly advantageous in the endgame of Borderlands 3. You will be able to cause many deaths with just one hit (One-Shots). To achieve this, you need two skill trees from Moze:
Detonator
Revenge Shield
You need these talents from the Detonator skill tree:
Fire in the Skag Cave
Destructive Device
Torgue Cross-Promotion
Pull the Holy Pin
Vampire
Why can’t I carry all these grenades?
Until the Bitter End
Burned Out Fuse
With these skills, you enhance your grenades. You can carry more of them, heal yourself through them, and deal more damage.
These are the necessary skills of the Revenge Shield tree:
Armored Infantry
Up to the Neck in Shells
Vladof Genius
Behind the Iron Curtain
Survivor
Phalanx Doctrine
Through this skill distribution, you enhance your shield and the damage dealt. The lower your health, the more damage you deal. Additionally, your shield charges much faster and has a higher capacity.
The Equipment for Luck
You need this artifact: The most important for this build is the artifact. With the Ice Spiker Deathless, you only have 1 health point left. You heard right, you will voluntarily run around without health.
This artifact also doubles your shield capacity, improves reload speed, and reduces reload delay.
You need such a class mod: The class modifications of the Bloodletter series are what you need to look for for this build. They direct all your healing to the shield, including regeneration.
This weapon is recommended: With the crazy weapons of Borderlands 3, you have plenty of choices. Which gun you use is ultimately up to you. However, for this build, we recommend a weapon with a lot of splash damage. Additionally, firearms that fire multiple bullets are recommended.
This is the right grenade: The best fit here is a grenade with overreaching attacks. So one that bounces or ideally splits into multiple grenades. The Storm Front with its shock damage is a good choice.
You need such a shield: Surprisingly, your shield is not that important. However, you should choose one with high capacity. Additionally, shields that convert certain percentages of the shield to damage when charged are also recommended.
Another option would be shields that make you immune to shock damage, especially concerning your grenade. These often also give you ammunition through absorption.
And how does all this work together?
This build depends on your equipment. If you do not have the artifact or the class mod, you cannot play this Moze build as effectively. An alternative to the artifact would be the talent “Balance Act” in the Revenge Shield tree. Once you have gathered all the parts of the puzzle, the fun can begin.
This is how shield and health affect: With this build, you have an absurdly high shield capacity and only 1 health point. However, because of the high capacity and regeneration of your shield, this does not matter. Furthermore, you deal more weapon damage the less health you have. This is quite a lot at 1 health – well – quite a bit!
This is what the grenades do: Besides your weapon damage, you deal a lot of splash damage. You get this from your grenades. You can carry more of them and also have a chance to recover them immediately after throwing.
If you hit an enemy with a grenade, you will be healed. Your healing goes directly into your already powerful shield – a vicious circle.
You can check out more about the gameplay in the following video from Arekkz Gaming:

Our author Sven was able to take an exclusive look at Destiny 2 Shadowkeep before the release and already play some content himself – including the new Moon location. And he really liked it. Since then, the wait for the upcoming autumn expansion has been sheer torment.
Warning, potential spoilers ahead! Read at your own risk!
This is how I was able to play Shadowkeep early: I was one of the few lucky ones who were recently invited by Bungie to a preview event in Seattle. This allowed me to try out selected content of the new Shadowkeep expansion directly in the game studio before the launch.
What could I test? First of all, I went into the first story mission of Shadowkeep. This takes place on the Moon and introduces the Guardians to the story surrounding the new expansion. After that, the Moon location itself was unlocked, and I was able to freely explore it for a while in patrol mode.
Note that I am not allowed to talk about everything I experienced, saw, and heard in this context. Bungie wants you to discover certain aspects of the expansion on your own. Other content was on the program, but I will only discuss that in later articles.
Why I can hardly wait for the Shadowkeep expansion after my first Moon trip in Destiny 2
One thing in advance: The Moon was already one of my absolute favorite locations in Destiny 1, and even after the relatively short first impression of Shadowkeep, I can say with considerable certainty: This will likely remain the case in Destiny 2.
However, not because I am biased or looking at the whole thing through rose-tinted nostalgia glasses, but because Bungie has succeeded in something great with this location that could excite both veterans and newcomers alike.
Exciting campaign start: Here I can only speak for the first mission, but the way the story unfolds there definitely makes you crave more. Whether that will remain the case, however, remains to be seen.
And here’s what it’s about: The Guardians registered a seismic disturbance on the Moon, which leads to increased activities of the Hive. They are now pouring out of the fortress in masses, apparently encouraged by these disturbances. I am supposed to get to the bottom of it.
Side by side with other Guardians, I fight my way to the gates of the Scarlet Fortress, the existence of which, by the way, the Vanguard was apparently already aware of for some time – but not its purpose. On my way, I learn that probably Eris Morn is responsible for this disturbance and instigated it. Now I must look not only for the Hive, but also keep an eye out for the old acquaintance.
After I cleared up at some key points, I finally entered the fortress’s interior, where after a creepy encounter, I ultimately discovered the cause of the increased Hive activity – a highlight for lore lovers and for anyone who generally followed the great story surrounding Destiny (And no, I don’t mean reuniting with Eris). Stay tuned!
Since then, I have been burning to finally find out how the Shadowkeep campaign continues – something that hasn’t been the case at least in my experience with every storyline of Destiny.
Nostalgia pure: Those who already know the Moon from Destiny 1 will feel right at home on the Moon in Destiny 2. The beta of the first part took place here, and the Space Magic, this special something, has not been so present for me anywhere else in the Destiny universe since then. This feeling not only remains with Shadowkeep, but in my opinion, it has even been enhanced.
Iconic places like the Hellmouth or the Firing Line are still there, but shine in a new light. The first mission starts, by the way, on parts of a popular multiplayer map (First Light) from the first series installment. You immediately recognize everything but also notice that the visuals have been refined and the familiar areas have been beautified. This does the location a world of good and complements it appropriately and meaningfully, without taking away its originally dark, terrifying character.
In Destiny 1 part of a PvP map: The starting area of the 1st Shadowkeep mission
Also enough new for veterans: Those who, as veterans, might now fear they might know almost everything about the Moon because they played Destiny 1 can rest assured – this is not the case. Even for seasoned Guardians who have fought the Hive on the Moon, there is plenty of new things to see and discover.
By this, I don’t even mean new activities like the Nightmare Hunts or features like the Rune Table, where there is fresh loot to grab, but the location itself. There are numerous new areas, including the fortress, to explore. The new Moon has quite a bit more to offer than can be seen at first glance; much remained undiscovered during my visit.
By the way, it can be worth taking a detour into already familiar areas. Because where it didn’t go further before, new paths or branches now lead you to previously unknown locations, which are waiting to be discovered by you.
In Destiny 1, this place was for most the first encounter with the Moon
In short: If you were intrigued by the Moon and Oryx’s Dreadnaught in Destiny 1, it’s very likely that you will feel the same about the new Moon in Destiny 2. The Earth’s satellite also offers enough new content so that you don’t just feel like you’re back in Destiny 1.
Great location for everyone who is entering the Moon for the first time: Those who missed Destiny 1 and started their Guardian career only with the second part can also look forward to this. Because with the new Moon, they can soon experience an important part of the Destiny universe up close – in my opinion, they are being served one of the best if not the best locations of Destiny 2 so far.
The areas on the Moon that I have seen so far are very atmospheric and varied. What may appear bright or even inviting on the surface can already seem dark and very threatening further inside or around the corner.
Because much of the Moon is hidden beneath its surface. No other location from Destiny 2 manages to evoke such an immersive feeling of a real threat to humanity as the new Moon can.
Those who (like me) could hardly relate to the “Lord of the Rings” fantasy aesthetics of Forsaken or generally prefer a darker setting around the Hive will definitely find satisfaction here.
Personal conclusion: I must honestly admit: I almost curse that I was already able to see the new Moon. Because after what I have experienced there so far, it is clear to me: I want to go back – and the sooner the better. I definitely want to see more of the Moon. I want to try all the new things that are waiting for me there and uncover all the secrets hidden in the Hive tunnels and structures. The wait is now truly a torment for me.
On the other hand, I can now sleep soundly. Because even though I initially went into the event with a healthy portion of skepticism, I am now quite sure: a great (and for many a new) location awaits me, which will give me at least many more hours of fun in the Destiny universe. What also makes me hopeful: Much, if not most of the Moon, such as the new dungeon, I haven’t even seen during the time allotted to me.
All the more I look forward to diving into the new expansion on October 1st and returning to the Moon.
You can also get your first impressions of the Moon in the following two videos from Nexxoss Gaming: He was also at the event in Seattle and was able to capture many new impressions of the story mission and the Moon.
In this video, you will see excerpts from the first Shadowkeep mission:

In Fortnite, the challenges for Week 9 (S10) titled “Hit the Target” are now available. You need to hit easy and hard targets at the shooting range. We will show you the locations of the shooting ranges.
What kind of tasks are these? For the normal mission, you need to hit an easy target. Easy targets are those that are closer to the player.
For the prestige mission, you need to hit a hard target. Hard targets are those that are further away from the player.
At each shooting range, you will find easy and hard targets. Here, we provide an overview of where to find the shooting ranges.
Shooting Range between Haunted Hills and Snobby Shores – Location
Where do you need to shoot? Between Haunted Hills and Snobby Shores, you will find one of these shooting ranges. You will see a yellow beach umbrella right next to the shooting range.
Location on the map:
Shooting Range at Polar Peak – Location
Where do you need to shoot? On the iceberg at Polar Peak, on a platform in the west, there is a shooting range. You will see the sign indicating what you need to do right away.
Location on the map:
Shooting Range between Lucky Landing and Fatal Fields – Location
Where do you need to shoot? Between Lucky Landing and Fatal Fields, near a gas station, there is another shooting range. Here too, you will see the sign indicating what to do.
Location on the map:
You need to hit an easy target to complete the normal mission, which means one that is closer to you. For the prestige mission, you need to hit a hard target, which means one that is further away from you. Once you’ve completed that, you can tackle the other missions.
Fortnite is undergoing major changes to gameplay. Here you can see what has changed:
In Pokémon GO you can now find more EX Raid Arenas. We explain why this is important right now.
This change is about: EX Raids take place in Pokémon GO only at special arenas. These are then marked as EX Raid Arenas. Now there are again more arenas that bear this designation.
Right now, as Mewtwo returns to EX Raids, new arenas are important for this. This way you have better chances at the coveted invitations.
These arenas are now new: In this change, mainly arenas that are generally new in the game have been affected. So if you have received a new arena in a park in recent months, this could now probably be an EX Raid Arena.
The fundamentals that make an EX Raid Arena have not changed. An EX Raid Arena still needs to be located in a park or a spot that is easily accessible and not directly on a street. Arenas located in the middle of a city are therefore unlikely to ever become an EX Raid Arena.
What does this mean for players? Anyone who previously did not have an EX Raid Arena in their locality may now rejoice at a change. So take a close look at your arenas.
You can recognize an EX Raid Arena by the mark it bears in the upper right corner. Only then can the arena actually trigger an EX Raid.
The indication is in the upper right corner
Why is this change so important now? Recently, there was Deoxys in the EX Raids and the Pokémon was not really usable in any form. However, Mewtwo is returning for 2 months in the special raids.
There, Mewtwo learns Shadow Ball, one of the best Ghost-type attacks in the game. Mewtwo with this attack is incredibly strong, so you definitely shouldn’t miss it. More EX Raid Arenas will therefore also give you more possible EX Raids.
Niantic has also significantly shuffled the spawn points. Are you also affected?
Week 9 of Season 10 is now in Fortnite and this time you need to land on various target zones. We will show you all locations.
What is the task? The exact wording is: “Land directly on various target zones”. There are a total of 3 of them.
On the map of Season 10, we will show you all locations of the target zones:
Here you will find these 3 locations
All locations of the target zones for Week 9
Where do I need to search? The 3 locations are spread across the entire map. You can easily recognize the target zones, as they are large red circles.
Northeast of Lucky Landing, right in the middle of one of the mountains in the desert
East of Frosty Flights, just below a mountain
North of Greasy Grove, immediately behind the snow-free area between two rocks
This is what the target zones look like
How do I complete the task? The bullseye is known from the game of darts. It is specifically the center of the dartboard. To complete the task, you must land directly in the center of the red circles.
You do not have to perform any interactions afterwards. You have completed the task immediately.
Is there a video? We will embed a clip here that shows you all locations of the bullseyes. That way, you can’t miss them:

In Hearthstone , there is already talk about some upcoming nerfs. One of them will affect the Priest and possibly the oldest combo.
Over the years, Hearthstone has changed drastically, not only due to the release of new cards but also fresh game mechanics and keywords. Yet some combos have existed since the release in March 2014 (and before in beta). One such combo has now come under the developers’ scrutiny and will likely be removed in the future.
Which combo is it? It is the Priest and his combination of “Divine Spirit” and “Inner Fire”.
With Divine Spirit, the Priest doubles the health of a minion for just 2 mana points.
Then, with Inner Fire for 1 mana, the attack power is adjusted to the health of the minion.
Thus, a 1/10 minion becomes a devastating 20/20 minion through 2 cards with a total mana cost of 3.
Priests will need a new solution.
This combo essentially works with any minion that has a high health value and is relatively easy to perform. It has existed since the earliest days of Hearthstone and is a “basic combo” of the Priest.
What does Blizzard say about it? Dean Ayala, the Lead Card Designer for Hearthstone, revealed in a conversation on Twitter that they do not want Divine Spirit and Inner Fire to be an “eternal” win condition in the game. There are plans to remove Divine Spirit from the game, making the combo impossible. Anyone who still wants to boost a minion with Inner Fire will need to find other ways to increase a minion’s health.

Read more about our privacy policy.
When will the nerf come? Ayala did not yet specify an exact date. The most likely time for a nerf to the combo is in Spring 2020, when the next year in Hearthstone begins. Then, old sets will rotate out of the Standard format. Typically, Blizzard also makes larger changes to existing cards and “evergreens” at that time. Decisions are often made here to change or completely remove old cards for the longevity of the game.
For Divine Spirit, this is also likely, as Blizzard currently has the problem that any card with high health automatically acts as a combo trigger for the Priest, leading to a quick victory too easily.
Do you think it’s good that this combo is being nerfed? Or does it simply belong to the game and should stay?
In Fortnite you should hit weak points while harvesting. We will show you what these weak points are and how to complete the challenge.
What kind of task is this? Among the new Bullseye challenges in Fortnite, you are required to harvest effectively. In this task, you should pay attention to hitting correctly when breaking down materials.
More specifically, you are supposed to hit the weak points. Fortnite makes these spots visually clear. But for those who have never heard of them, here’s what these weak points are all about.
Weak Points in Fortnite – Here they are
What are the weak points? When you start to “harvest” houses, trees, or other objects in Fortnite, the weak points appear. Harvesting means the ability to break down material with the harvesting tool.
You will quickly notice that blue circles with a red dot inside appear. Those are the weak points. Aim for them while breaking down to get more material per hit.
In the following image, you see the mentioned weak points:
Why should you do this? Exploiting this weak point system can become advantageous in your matches. You can halve the time it takes to destroy a structure like a tree or the wall of a house if you hit the weak point every time.
The tasks: For the regular task, you should hit the weak points while harvesting 50 times. This is easy to do and doesn’t have to be completed in a match.
The prestige task isn’t much harder. Here, you need to hit a weak point while harvesting 5 times in a row. So aim carefully so that no hit misses.
This week, you can expect more exciting tasks:
You should hit multiple Bullseye targets
Master a bottle flip
Hit heavy and light targets in target practice
Additionally, something strange is happening in Fortnite with the mechs that hardly anyone liked:
Cloud Imperium Games has announced a new ship for the space online game Star Citizen once again. With this ship, you can pull players out of quantum travel.
What kind of ship is this? The RSI Mantis is a ship equipped with a “Quantum Enforcement Device.” This device has some interesting features that can lead to devious maneuvers.
A nasty little ship
What does the Quantum Enforcement Device do? One of its features allows you to create a sphere with a diameter of 2000 meters around your ship, preventing other ships from using their quantum drive.
The second feature creates an EMP pulse that pulls other ships from quantum travel within a range of 10,000 to 20,000 meters.
Additionally, the ship can set quantum markers to “track” other ships in quantum travel.
What does this mean exactly? When you pilot a Mantis, you can prevent your opponents from fleeing into quantum flight. You just need to stay close enough to the enemy ship.
Furthermore, pirates can team up and activate the EMP pulse in heavily traveled areas to pull victims out of quantum travel and attack.
So, very sneaky maneuvers are possible with the Mantis.
The balance must be maintained
Isn’t the ship “overpowered”? The developers have integrated some features that make you think carefully about whether and when to use the Quantum Enforcement Device.
The ship is only lightly armed and cannot really take on combat ships.
To use the device, you must disable other systems, making you a vulnerable target.
Thus, the Mantis is essentially only effective in larger groups. The others then fly their combat ships to attack the victims pulled out of quantum travel and protect the Mantis pilots.
When will the ship be introduced? The Mantis can be tested next week. Starting October 10, it will be available to all players. It is not a concept. The ship will be playable in the Alpha. A price has not yet been announced.
What do players think of the Mantis? Overall, the new ship is very well received. Many people like it, and players are looking forward to being able to play as pirates. For this purpose, the ship seems to be excellent.
However, the community hopes that the Mantis does not disrupt the balance and that the balancing is correct. The ship’s capabilities already sound very nasty. It simply must not be overpowered.
A leak says that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have loot boxes in which players can find weapons. This has made players really angry.
What was leaked? A data miner discovered that the system for microtransactions in the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is no longer just cosmetic. Changes have supposedly been made to include weapons in the supply drops.
What does this mean specifically? A leaker has apparently found in the data of Modern Warfare that the developers are removing the “Fair System.” Instead, there will reportedly be supply drops with weapons and other filler content such as emotes and sprays.
On Twitter, he writes: “Who wants 300+ emotes in supply drops, who wants 500+ titles, who wants over 200 sprays in supply drops? Yayyayayayayya. Weapons are also coming, forget all this “just cosmetic” nonsense.”
But that is now secondary, it is said in a popular Reddit thread: “I think we should be more annoyed that weapons are hidden in loot boxes instead of missing out on a mode that most of you probably won’t play anyway.”
The post received over 8200 upvotes in less than a day.
In other threads, players are clearly advising: “Cancel your pre-orders.” Reddit user Dougary96 writes: “Don’t be one of those people defending the game like in other comments.
Other players explain that they have already canceled their pre-orders. (via Reddit, Reddit)
In many discussions, it is written that one should cancel their pre-orders to make a statement.
“I wanted to play the game without seeing these stupid emotes and loot box weapons. This is disappointing,” it says in another thread on Reddit on this topic.
One should keep in mind that this is a leak and not an official announcement.
What do you think about this topic? Are the weapons in supply drops a reason for you to avoid Modern Warfare?
Borderlands 3 features four playable classes. Three of them seem to be a good choice in the endgame around Mayhem 3. Is Agent Zane too weak?
What type of class is Zane? Zane is an entertaining character. He can choose two action skills at once as the only class. However, he must forgo his grenades for this. This makes Zane very versatile and gives you different options to utilize his abilities.
Players like Zane, but …
As versatile as Zane seems throughout the campaign, he is allegedly outdated in the endgame. Compared to his three colleagues, the Beastmaster FL4K, the Gunner Moze, and the Siren Amara, he seems to lack enough survivability and damage.
Is Zane too refined for Borderlands 3?
This is Zane’s problem: The Agent is a technical class. To play him well, one must think strategically. This is great fun, but it doesn’t really fit Borderlands 3.
The loot shooter is less about strategy and more about hitting hard. Especially in the endgame, you need a lot of damage in a short amount of time.
This is what Zane fans say:
Zane has too few options when it comes to pure damage from his skill trees. This makes him seem relatively weak compared to the other classes. It wouldn’t be so bad if he could rely on his clone. […] But at the end of the day, he can only depend on his weapon damage.
I am waiting for a buff or a similar change, then I will continue to play with Zane. I like him the most and wish he had a damage build that isn’t only reliant on speed.
It seems there are issues with Zane’s performance. These mainly affect the endgame around Mayhem 3. Compared to the other classes, he falls short. Here he cannot score with his speed, but would need to deal more damage.
Are there other opinions? Many players, however, defend Zane in the debate:
Zane CAN kill bosses super quickly, he just needs a good build and is more reliant on his equipment than the other Vault Hunters.
For many, fun is the priority. Perhaps it is also the case that Zane is not too weak for the endgame of Borderlands 3. His colleagues are just too strong. Borderlands 3 has only been out for two weeks, so a balance patch hoped for by fans is not out of the question.

In Division Rivals, there are 10 skill-based divisions. The better you play and the more skill points you earn, the higher divisions you reach. In higher divisions, there are better rewards.
Each division consists of 5 ranks. Play matches weekly to earn rank points. Rank up to claim better rewards.
After each week, there is a fresh start and a renewed fight for rewards. Ranks are reset.
You can play an unlimited number of matches per week in Division Rivals.
It is a purely online mode against other players. Since you compete against players in the same division, skill levels should be relatively close.

Information on Skill Points in Division Rivals in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team
What you need to know about Skill Points: Compared to FIFA 19, the skill rating thresholds for the divisions in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team have been adjusted. In this graphic, you can see how many skill points you need for the respective divisions in Division Rivals:
This is how you increase your skill rating: After each match you win, you earn skill points. These depend on several factors. In a draw, you can gain or lose a few points, and in a loss, skill points are deducted.
Your skill rating and division are not reset weekly, but the rank is.
These are Ranks in Division Rivals
What do the ranks signify? You have 5 ranks in each division. The number of points you need for each rank changes throughout the week. You can also demote ranks if you are inactive. Because:
Rank 1: 15% of players in competition
Rank 2: 40% of players in competition
Rank 3: 80% of players in competition
Rank 4: 97% of players in competition
Rank 5: 100% of players in competition
How many points for Rank 1? The number of points you need depends on your competition. There is no fixed limit.
Victories yield more weekly points: The more decisively you win, the more points you earn. Draws or losses yield less. Ideally, score 5 goals to earn the most points. More than 5 goals yield no additional points.
What are FUT Champions Points?
You need FUT Champions Points for this: If you collect 2000 FUT Champions Points, you gain access to the Weekend League. Through this weekly, limited-time competition, you can earn the best rewards:
How do I get the points? Either through matches in the Weekend League or through the weekly rewards of Division Rivals. Additionally, every Division Rivals match gives extra points.
How many points do I receive per match? A victory in Division Rivals grants you 20 FUT Champions Points – multiplied by these point multipliers, which are division-dependent:
Division 10: 1.0
Division 9: 1.2
Division 8: 1.5
Division 7: 2.0
Division 6: 2.5
Division 5: 3.2
Division 4: 4.0
Division 3: 6.2
Division 2: 12.5
Division 1: 25.0
This means that if you win a match in Division 4, you will earn 80 points (because: 20 x 4.0).
Not everyone is happy with the end of the war campaign in World of Warcraft. Some are even extremely disappointed. But why is that?
As of Wednesday, we know how the war campaign in World of Warcraft ends. Instead of a great battle for Orgrimmar, there is “just” a duel between Sylvanas and Saurfang. Although Saurfang is helplessly outmatched in this fight and Sylvanas brings him down within a few seconds, he is still counted as the winner.
However, the events during the campaign and in the cinematic do not sit well with all players. In the subreddit and in the World of Warcraft forums, the player base is currently divided, as there is significant dissatisfaction with the outcome of the campaign. This not only leads to a lot of criticism and complaints but also sometimes to some funny memes and other cynical images.
What do players dislike about the end of the war?
At least part of the player base disagrees with some aspects of the war campaign. We’ll briefly list the most frequently mentioned points here.
Is this “Mists of Pandaria 2.0”? During the last BlizzCon, the developers stated that Sylvanas should not become “Garrosh 2.0” – which has proven to be true in the end, as she is neither a raid boss nor has she stayed with the loyal part of the Horde. However, many players took the developers’ statement back then to mean that the story of Battle for Azeroth would not just be a “remake” of the storyline from Mists of Pandaria. Yet, in their eyes, that is exactly what has happened.
Once again, the Alliance, Thrall, Lor’themar, and part of the Horde gather before the gates of Orgrimmar to overthrow a war chief. And once again, the war chief uses an almost unknown, destructive power as a last resort.
While Sylvanas has not become a final boss and the city of Orgrimmar is not truly “conquered”, the parallels are still great.
Sylvanas is playing “27D-Chess”: Also under criticism is Sylvanas’ master plan, of which little is known to this day. There have been ongoing discussions in the community about whether Sylvanas is pursuing a long-term plan and reacting extremely intelligently or whether her actions are just stupid and impulsive – such as during the burning of Teldrassil.
Supporters of Sylvanas often mentioned that she was playing “4D-chess”, meaning she operated on a level of intelligence that is not easily perceived. This was then picked up by the opposition and mocked further – by now, it has become something like 27D-chess or 28D-chess.
This has even become part of the “BINGO” list created for the war campaign of Patch 8.2.5.
At least the creator took it with humor, as the middle box says: “Disappointed players (for nothing)”.
Sylvanas’ escape is silly: One last point that bothers many is Sylvanas’ departure. The fact that she simply transforms into a shadow cloud and makes a “Team Rocket” exit into the distance annoys many players. They had hoped that Sylvanas would be stopped and held accountable for her crimes. The presence of such an “Oh Shit” button that allows her to escape a complete encirclement frustrates many players.
Many other, smaller points of criticism: Of course, there are still a few more isolated points of criticism. Some players criticize that the Alliance largely stays out of this conflict and has little role in the cinematic. Night Elf players, on the other hand, are angry that they have still not received any revenge for Teldrassil. The fact that the rest of the Horde is apparently simply forgiven now does not exactly promote satisfaction.
Cortyn says: I personally find the course of the war campaign and also the interim ending quite successful. It fits Sylvanas for her to have a moment of extreme arrogance at the end, which she then fully enjoys. Her arrogance and her little monologue before she disappears only make it clear how little she cares about the fate of the living.
The fact that she turns away from the Forsaken doesn’t bother me or seem inappropriate – these are just the fruits of what has already been sown in the past. After all, she had to deal with the fact that the Forsaken cling to life and wanted to return to their still-living family members in the backstory of Battle for Azeroth “Before the Storm”. She had hoped to drive that out of them, which she failed to do – as a logical consequence, the Forsaken are now left behind, just like the rest of the Horde.
I’m quite curious about what Sylvanas is still planning and how her pact with Azshara will affect her in the future. From my perspective, she has remained true to her character – calculating, cold, and occasionally consumed by hatred and rage. Just like in Warcraft III.
But at least the whole debate has led to a few nice memes – and to me really looking forward to BlizzCon 2019.
The MMORPG genre seems to have been on the decline and out of trend in Europe for 5 years now. However, in Korea, things are apparently going much better. The Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss is currently building a new, shiny, glittering office building right in the middle of Seoul.
This is Pearl Abyss: The developer studio is primarily known here for Black Desert. In Asia, the studio is so successful with a mobile version of Black Desert Online that they even purchased the company behind EVE Online.
These are images from the new engine of Pearl Abyss: The next big MMORPG is tentatively titled Project CD.
Apparently, their numerous employees need a new place to work. Therefore, the studio is now building a new headquarters in South Korea’s capital, Seoul.
This is how big the new studio of Pearl Abyss will be
This is what the building is supposed to look like: A huge skyscraper will be the new workplace for hundreds of employees. The headquarters is supposed to have 20 floors, 5 of which will be underground.
This is what the headquarters of Pearl Abyss is supposed to look like. (Image source: MMO Culture).
The construction time is estimated to be about a year. The building is expected to be completed in February 2021.
What does the new headquarters offer? The studio has already announced plans detailing what features the new building will have. Here are the highlights:
A parking garage with 604 spaces
A daycare for employees who also have a toddler
Two floors full of sports facilities, such as a basketball court, massage rooms, and a fitness center
A floor that will be used entirely as a cafeteria
An office where streams can be recorded. Music for the games will also be developed here
A large hall where all employees can gather for a big meeting
This is what makes the construction project so special: Here in Germany and Europe, it is hardly imaginable that a developer studio of MMORPGs could undertake such a construction. The financial resources simply lack.
Even The Elder Scrolls Online had major problems at release and needed a complete overhaul to become successful
Even “mega-licenses” like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings were not the hits the companies had hoped for, although they were eventually embraced and loved by fans
A completely different world is showing up there in Asia. Here MMORPGs are thriving – not anymore on the PC, but as mobile games.
Games like Perfect World consistently top the mobile game charts. The struggling NCSoft has turned around overnight through Lineage M.
Black Desert Mobile by Pearl Abyss is also part of that. So it’s not surprising that the developers can now build such a huge headquarters.
In Fortnite, after the update 10.40, the mechs explode as soon as they land. Is it a bug or part of the story? We don’t know.
What happened? After the update 10.40, the mechs explode shortly after landing. One might think that the robots are causing problems again. However, hints indicate that it is part of Fortnite’s story.
The community has been complaining about the mechs throughout season 10. The robots were too strong, and there was hardly a chance to fight back. However, despite strong protests, for example on Twitter with #RemovetheMechs, Epic Games did not remove the robots from the game. Perhaps because they are part of the story?
Mechs explode as soon as they land
What happens upon landing? Normally, the mechs are distributed across the island shortly after the match begins. They come flying down from the sky and then land on the map. But now it’s different; as soon as the mechs touch the ground, they suddenly explode. On Twitter, ITheEqualizer posted a video about it:
Is this part of Fortnite’s story? Normally, one would think that the mechs are causing problems again. However, there are indications pointing to a continuation of the story.
Additionally, a virus has been found on the computer at Dusty Depot that likely causes the mechs to explode. Did the scientist implant this virus into the robots to destroy them?
When you approach the computer, you hear a voice. You cannot understand what the voice is saying. Later, you will probably be able to interact with the computer, because when you press to interact now, nothing happens.
What do you think? Is this all part of the story or a bug?
Especially in Asia, MMORPGs are still very popular. That’s why today we present to you ten MMORPGs from Asia that are among the best in the genre.
Western MMORPGs are hardly being released anymore, and if they are, it’s mostly in the indie sector, like Legends of Aria or the announced Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. But in Asia, the situation is different. The genre is still very much in demand there, and studios continue to bring new titles to the market. Some of these are or will even be playable here.
We are now introducing ten MMORPGs selected by us, which originate from Asia. The order was created based on the popularity among our readers, on platforms like Steam and subjective feelings.

9. Ragnarok Online
What is Ragnarok Online? Ragnarok Online is now considered a cult MMORPG. You create a hero and set off in an isometric perspective to explore the land and fight against the enemies that threaten the inhabitants of Rune-Midgard. PvE is at the forefront, with PvP being possible, among other things, in the “War of Emperium”.
What is it about? The story of the MMORPG revolves around mysterious demons that appear in the world and disrupt a long-standing peace. You embark on a journey with your friends to fight these demons. Quests play a minor role in Ragnarok Online. Instead, you fight many enemies and improve your hero over time.

Ragnarok Online offers many options to develop your character
The battles flow smoothly
You can also play Ragnarok Online well in between
The hardware requirements are very low
Weaknesses:
Quests are hardly worth mentioning
The focus is on extreme grinding
The graphics are anything but modern now
Ragnarok Online is ideal for…
… MMORPG players who want a lot of grinding but can generally do without interesting quests. If you don’t need a profound story in an MMORPG and also don’t want to see high-end graphics, you will surely feel at home with your friends in the colorful world of Ragnarok Online.

As a wizard zooming through the air on a broom and competing in sports contests with other teams – sounds like Harry Potter, but it is Broomstick League.
What is Broomstick League? Equipped with a magical broom and a wand, you participate in sports contests. You need to improve your flying skills and get the ball into the opponent’s goal.
For this, you can use spells to take out your opponents. This improves your chances of victory. Teamplay is important because only with the right tactics can you triumph over your foes.
Games are played in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 matches in several arenas. In some arenas, you will also have to fend off trolls and flying monsters. You are allowed to customize your wizard using cosmetic items.

This is not Quidditch
What is special about Broomstick League? The game sounds very much like Quidditch from Harry Potter. But it is not. The indie development team from Virtual Basement does not have the official Harry Potter license.
Also, the Survival MMO Citadel wants to impress with a Harry Potter twist, without having the official license.
What impression does the game make? The gameplay trailer looks quite fun. It could be enjoyable to fly through the air on a broom and engage in exciting magical duels with enemies to get the ball into the goal.
When is Broomstick League supposed to be released? The developers have not yet announced a specific date. However, the release is planned via Steam for the first quarter of 2020. As is common nowadays, Broomstick League will launch in an Early Access version.
What do the players think? So far, there have been very few reactions to Broomstick League. However, there is an interest in this type of game. Since the rules of Broomstick League are said to differ from the official Quidditch rules, some see more potential for additional game modes and variations.
What do you think? Does Broomstick League look interesting to you?
