Anyone who has been playing Pokémon GO for a long time knows that the game has hardly changed visually. Players are now explaining what could be changed.
This topic came up: On Reddit, a player asked what happened to the sunsets that Niantic showcased at an event in 2017. Since the announcement, nothing has really happened.
In response, many players said that in addition to sunsets, many other visual elements could be added to the game. The ideas are impressive.
Players suggest: The dreary environment on the map bores many players. One player, hereo_, suggests:
Skyscrapers and buildings could be more realistic and not just flat blocks, but they would still be transparent, so players could tap Pokémon on them. Mountains and hills would fit well into the game instead of just flat land everywhere.
The player Kai_Wai explains that he finds the transition between day and night really cool, but a sunset and sunrise would fit ideally.
A few weeks ago, the player “duskyxlops” already brought up the topic and mainly talked about the backgrounds when catching Pokémon. These could be adapted to the environment in which the Pokémon appears.
The trainer even created images to illustrate how he envisions it:
Is such a change conceivable? It is possible. After all, Niantic knows where houses are located or where a sea begins, for example. They could also show a suitable environment here.
As the opening number for the Grand Finals of the second season of the Overwatch League, DJ and music producer Zedd performed. His performance was preceded by a brief look at an unreleased skin that is now driving fans wild. Many Overwatch fans want the “Zedd” skin for Widowmaker.
What kind of skin is it? The skin is a new outfit for Widowmaker, which differs only in color and some details from her default skin (“recolor”), similar to the skins of the Overwatch League teams.
The skin features blue-green and pink tones. Widowmaker has the musician’s logo tattooed on her back. The logo can also be seen on the side of her weapon, the Widow’s Kiss.

The Widowmaker skin was only visible for a few seconds as Zedd took the stage, in the form of Widowmaker’s well-known highlight intros.
Who is Zedd? Anton “Zedd” Zaslavski is a German-Russian DJ known for his electro-house music. Zedd has been nominated for Grammys multiple times, has released two albums, and several top 10 hits. He has even been jokingly compared to Lúcio:
Is the skin really coming? Last year, DJ Khaled performed at the Overwatch League Finals. He did not receive a skin, which has led some fans to fear that the Zedd skin may not come either.
However, this year’s performance was much better received, and fans really want the skin.
Ubisoft has announced the launch times for the tactical shooter Ghost Recon Breakpoint. In Germany, it starts at midnight on all platforms, and those who want to can start playing in just a few hours.
When does Early Access start? Ubisoft will release Ghost Recon Breakpoint in several phases for different platforms and regions. After the Open Beta is over, it will soon be in release.
The earliest start in Europe is 0:00 midnight on October 1st, so already tonight for players with Early Access.
Who gets to start early? All versions from the Gold Edition onward will get Early Access, namely:
Gold Edition
Ultimate Edition
Wolves Collector’s Edition
These versions are also a bit more expensive. The Gold Edition costs about €99.99 in the Ubisoft Store, while the Standard Edition only costs €59.99.
All the mentioned versions receive early access for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Uplay. Players who want to play Breakpoint via the Epic Store will have to wait until 12 noon on October 1st.
When is the regular launch? Those who do not want to get the more expensive version of Breakpoint will have access starting October 4th. Again, the start time is unified for all platforms, except for the Epic Store, where players can begin at midnight.
When does the Pre-Load start? To allow you to download Breakpoint in advance, there is a Pre-Load. According to information from Ubisoft at the time of writing, it has already begun on all platforms. You can simply start it through your respective shop.
On the Xbox One, there is also a 13.5 GB Day-1 patch, while on the PlayStation 4, there is a 10 GB Day-1 patch.
Breakpoint – can you play already?
This is how it works even earlier: The times mentioned above apply to digital pre-orders and digital versions of Breakpoint. However, Ubisoft announced that the servers will open as early as September 30th at 1:00 PM.
Those who pre-order a physical copy and have activated it should already be able to play since the servers opened, according to Ubisoft. Additionally, some players report that they can already play using a VPN, as is possible with other games.
A VPN communicates in this case to Ubisoft’s servers that you are located in a region that is already able to play (like New Zealand). However, this is said to currently cause crashes and is not favored by many providers, which is why we currently advise against it.

The new skill-based matchmaking is active in Fortnite. However, some players seem not so enthusiastic, especially PS4 and Xbox One players feel disadvantaged.
What is skill-based matchmaking? The new skill-based matchmaking, introduced by Epic Games after update 10.40, is designed to match players of similar skill levels in the same match.
Before update 10.40, it was always random which players faced each other. Now, that is supposed to change with the new matchmaking system.
PS4 and Xbox players feel disadvantaged
Why do console players feel disadvantaged? Players have noticed that all platforms play against each other. So now PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Mobile are playing in the same matches.
Console players now feel disadvantaged because they have to compete against PC players and have a clear disadvantage there. PC players have an easier time with building and editing structures using mouse and keyboard. Thus, they are usually faster than console players.
Why is this a problem? Particularly for skilled console players, it is becoming increasingly difficult. The better they become, the stronger the PC players they encounter.
Since skill-based matchmaking has now been introduced in all game modes, players have no option to escape. They now have to face equally strong or even stronger players.
“As a PS4 player, I have no interest in mixed platforms.”
The Fortnite player shaggy235, who plays on PS4, recently spoke up on Reddit and explained why he finds mixed platforms with skill-based matchmaking unfair. He says:
“The mixed platform will quickly ruin the game for me. (…) It makes no sense to me. (…) Why disadvantage half of the players? (…) As a PS4 player, I have no interest in mixed platforms. (…) Playing against PC players is very frustrating for me.” (…)
Some players agree with the PS4 player and say:
“As an outstanding console player, I play regular and arena matches every day. I started a solo match today and it was so bad. It was like an arena solo!”
“I consider myself one of the better players on PS4. I never played arena matches because I found it unfair to compete against PC players. Now Epic forces us to play against each other and that is definitely the end of Fortnite for me.”
“They ruined the arena mode with mixed platforms, now they are doing the same with the standard modes. I shake my head.”
“That was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. I’m quitting Fortnite. Thank you, Epic.”
What do you think of the new skill-based matchmaking? Have you noticed any difference from the previous matchmaking?
Ninja-looting in World of Warcraft Classic is annoying. One case has caused a stir. But what can be done against it and what falls under ninja-looting?
Hardly any term in World of Warcraft is as old as the expression “ninja-looting.” But what all falls under it? What is allowed and game mechanics, and what is forbidden? And how can one defend against it if a case of ninja-looting occurs? This topic has flared up again in the World of Warcraft subreddit, so we are also addressing it.
What has happened? In the WoW Classic subreddit a pretty nasty story is making the rounds. An officer from the guild of streamer Asmongold has fraudulently acquired an epic item. During a dungeon run, the epic gloves “Edgemaster’s Handguards” dropped. The player in question announced in the chat that “Everyone should roll greed.”
All players did just that – except for the one who had stated the rule. He rolled need, won the gloves, and left the group to sell them shortly after in the auction house and then buy his epic mount with the gold.
This incident caused a great stir on Reddit, not only because of the audacity of the player, but also because it involved a player from one of the most famous guilds. More than 16,000 upvotes drew a lot of attention.
But the question now is: What can be done about such a case?
Agreements must be upheld: Basically, Blizzard has had special rules since “Vanilla” to prevent such fraud cases. Players should inform themselves about the loot rules when joining a group. If it has been clearly communicated that “all items can be rolled for by all players,” then it would be a violation if the group leader switches to “Master Loot” and distributes the items at his discretion.
The principle is: Agreements made that are recorded in the game chat must be upheld.
This also applies to the aforementioned case and all similar cases. If an agreement on the distribution of loot was made and this was violated, you can report the corresponding player.
If the offense is then deemed actual fraud, the fraudster usually loses not only their gain from the item but also temporarily loses access to their account.
However, keep in mind: If there were no agreements recorded in the chat, then one cannot accuse anyone of having rolled “need.”
Do these rules still apply? There has been no statement from Blizzard so far, so it can be assumed that the “old rules” still apply, at least in 2015 they were still valid. So if you experience a clear case of ninja-looting where the agreed rules were broken, you should report the corresponding player. In the best case, that player then receives a penalty and loses what they earned from the respective item.
No problem in Retail WoW: By the way, ninja-looting in the current World of Warcraft (Retail) is almost impossible, as most items are distributed through “Personal Loot.” Each player receives their loot individually, so nothing can be taken from anyone. This is probably one of the reasons why Blizzard introduced this system in the current WoW.
Have you encountered players in WoW Classic who have fraudulently acquired items and betrayed the group? Or have you been spared so far?
Unchained, the new version of the MMORPG ArcheAge, should no longer feature Pay2Win. But is this really the case? We at Mein-MMO have taken a closer look at the shop.
How is the shop structured? The new shop of the MMORPG ArcheAge Unchained, which is releasing on October 15, offers you rewards for two currencies:
Diligence coins, which you can earn from the free Battle Pass.
Credits, which you can purchase for real money.
750 Credits cost 5 Euros, with better exchange rates for money to credits available if you spend more.
In addition to the free Battle Pass, there are also paid passes. For these, you pay 1,500 Credits, or about 10 Euros.
Where does the shop information come from? We at Mein-MMO have already gained access to the test server of ArcheAge Unchained. There we examined the shop.
Changes are naturally possible before the release of Unchained, though the shop in its current form resembles what was promised to us at Gamescom.
What can you get for credits? In addition to the Battle Pass, you can purchase the following items for credits:
Chests for instruments, music pieces, and furniture – each 1,275 credits.
Various costumes that do not contain any attributes – between 1,850 and 5,850 credits.
Various pets that cannot fight – each 1,675 credits.
Two gliders that only have cosmetic effects – each 5,850 credits.
Six furniture items for housing, including a chest with 100 storage slots. No item for regenerating work points included – each 1,675 credits.
None of the items fall into the Pay2Win category. Even Pay2Convenience, meaning paying for useful items like bag or bank slots that do not provide direct gameplay advantages, has almost disappeared.
What is included in the paid Battle Pass? In addition to the shop, there is also a paid Battle Pass. However, this is also currently free of Pay2Win.
Depending on the selected pass, you will receive
New cosmetic content like costumes or individual skins.
Special content such as dance styles or titles.
Potions that grant you 1,000 crafting badges or 1,000 honor points. Honor points can be earned through quests (between 400 and 1,000 for high-level quests) and crafting badges can also be collected through challenges and quests.
The advantage of the premium pass is that you apparently can complete one more mission per day. This also results in faster progress in the free passes.
Free Battle Pass includes old Pay2Win items
What is behind the free pass? Through the free pass, you can earn items that fall into the Pay2Win category, including:
Potions that restore work points.
Boosts that increase your earned honor points from quests.
Boosts that increase loot drop rates.
In total, there are, at least according to the test server, four passes for the third and fourth quarters of ArcheAge Unchained. One, the general pass, is available permanently and the premium variant only costs gold.
The other three are time-limited and offer the premium version for 10 Euros.
What can you get for diligence coins? Diligence coins are another reward that can only be earned through the free passes. For these, you receive:
Various boosts.
Items that increase the chance of successful upgrades of equipment.
Items for changing gender.
Tax assessments and fuel.
Content for housing.
Weapon skins.
A single hint of Pay2Win
What is the conclusion from the shop? The contents of ArcheAge Unchained apparently truly forgo any form of Pay2Win. Neither in the shop nor in the paid Battle Passes can one find items that provide gameplay advantages on the test server.
The only downside could be the one additional mission through the premium Battle Pass. This could allow you to complete the free Battle Pass faster and gain faster access to the boosts and other advantages from it.
With the release of Shadowkeep, the base game Destiny 2 including some additional content will be free-to-play. We show what you get with New Light for free and what you can look forward to in Season 8 without any additional costs.
Wait, Destiny 2 is going free-to-play? Yes, in the form of Destiny 2: New Light. This allows you to play the base game along with its Year 1 DLCs and some additional selected content without spending a single cent.
What’s in Destiny 2: New Light
When exactly will Destiny 2 go free-to-play? The transition to free-to-play will coincide with the release of the major autumn expansion Shadowkeep, on October 1, 2019 – and this applies to all players on every supported platform (PS4, Xbox One, PC (Steam), and later also Google Stadia)
What Destiny 2: New Light Generally Offers
Recently, Bungie clarified the free content further. Therefore, we updated the article on September 30.
What content does New Light offer? Included in New Light are
as well as in-game events such as Iron Banner, Festival of the Lost, the Dawning, Crimson Days, Solstice of Heroes, or Revelry
be freely played. Also included in New Light are all Year 1 Exotics, i.e. weapons and armor. The following Year 2 Exotics can also be found in the free-to-play version:
By the way, the subclasses from the Forsaken expansion are missing in Destiny 2: New Light. However, if you purchase the new Shadowkeep expansion and skip Forsaken, you will still receive these subclasses.
However, you still have to pay for: Additional content, such as the Forsaken expansion, Shadowkeep, or the Season Passes remain paid and can be optionally purchased.
In a developer blog, Bungie has now revealed which free content will be available to all Guardians in Season 8, the Season of the Undying. The following content will also be completely playable with New Light, i.e., without a Season Pass:
The Moon location: The Moon will be introduced in the paid Shadowkeep expansion, but you can explore the new location on patrol without any additional cost and complete Bounties there.
The first opening mission of Shadowkeep: To get a taste of what the Guardians can expect in Shadowkeep, every player will be able to play the intro mission at no additional cost.
Two new strikes: With Shadowkeep, two new strikes will be added to the game. Both can be played for free.
Crucible updates (PvP): The Crucible is being further developed by Bungie. The changes will come in the form of free updates to the game that all players will benefit from.
Two new PvP maps: Two maps from the Destiny 1 era are returning in Season 8: Widow’s Court and Twilight Gap. All players have free access to these new maps.
Elimination: This popular PvP mode from Destiny 1 will return in Season 8 and will initially be playable in the Crucible Labs (a kind of test environment).
The new armor system Armor 2.0: With Armor 2.0, Destiny 2 is revolutionizing its armor system. Finally, you no longer have to compromise between looking good and functionality. You can read more about it here: The new Armor 2.0 revolutionizes Destiny 2
Seasonal artifact “Eye of the Gate Lords”: Seasonal artifacts are meant to keep the seasons fresh. These are items through which you unlock various perks or bonuses that you can then apply to your Armor 2.0 gear. This way, your character can be further adapted to your personal playstyle. More on this here: How powerful the 1st artifact in Destiny 2 makes you – We know all the bonuses
The new finishing moves: Destiny 2 will introduce what are called finishers with the release of Shadowkeep. For some Super energy, you can stylishly eliminate low-health enemies and even trigger useful effects like additional power ammo drops with mods. Here are more details: What the new finishing moves from Shadowkeep entail
New Pinnacle Weapons? Initially, two new Pinnacle Weapons were announced for Season 8. These are special legendary weapons with unique perks, which are essentially some of the best that Destiny 2’s arsenal has to offer. Both were supposed to be freely obtainable for all Guardians.
However, there has been a change. Pinnacle Weapons in their original form will likely no longer exist. Instead, they are set to be replaced in Season 8 by ritual weapons. There will be a total of three of these – from the Vanguard, from PvP, and from Gambit. Whether these weapons can also be earned by all Guardians remains to be seen.
Free rewards within the season pass ranks: With Season 8, Destiny 2 will receive a kind of battle pass system, with which both season pass owners and users of the free-to-play version can earn various seasonal rewards. You can find out more about it here: Destiny 2 introduces new season pass: season ranks, rewards, monetary investment
These legendary weapons and armors are just a preview of the season pass. If you want the best rolls, you need to play seasonal activities to obtain them.
By the way, upgrade modules are a type of voucher for infusion.
What do you think about the content that can be played for free? Is it an appropriate scope?
The open beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint has ended. The preview opportunity left fans with mixed feelings. Although many players had fun, there are some major criticisms.
How was the beta received? The initial assessment of Ghost Recon Breakpoint is rather negative according to many beta players. The open beta ended on September 29.
Many fans enjoyed the game, but found that Breakpoint leaves out or mishandles some important features.
Particularly, the actual hallmark of the series is under fire: realism.
Breakpoint does not feel like a “Ghost Recon” anymore. It employs too many mechanics that have no place in a tactical shooter.
Breakpoint: Good game or bad Ghost Recon? Or both?
Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been positively received by players who like to refer to themselves as “casuals” or occasional gamers.
There are numerous reports from people who had fun and enjoyed simply diving into Ghost Recon Breakpoint to explore the features and the world.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Impressions of the Beta
On social channels like Reddit, many players have shared their impressions of the Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta. But also well-known critics like YouTuber Skill Up have taken a look at the new “Tom Clancy” shooter. We summarize the comments from players for you.
Why Breakpoint is a good game
This is what players praise about Breakpoint: What many beta players praise, and what even some critics concede to Breakpoint, is the good gameplay. Breakpoint feels pleasant, is easy to learn, and offers a good player experience.
Particularly, the behavior of different weapons is highlighted. Compared to its predecessor Wildlands, which many refer to, it is more enjoyable that weapons now have a more realistic ballistics.
In Wildlands, every bullet practically flew with subsonic speed. In Breakpoint, they feel a bit more realistic.
Additionally, weapons are customizable in a sort of gunsmith tool, which enhances the feeling of tinkering with one’s own weapon.
The guns seem to be quite fun.
The graphics and movements are also pretty and well-designed. One Reddit user writes in a longer opinion on the beta:
The general mechanics and gameplay were great. Character movement and weapon handling were superb. As a war veteran with 8 years of experience, such things are important to me when I play tactical shooters.
Aim2misbehave406 on Reddit
The new survival system is also pleasant in many ways, although it could still be improved.
Why Breakpoint is not a good Ghost Recon
The biggest issue with Breakpoint: Against the praise stands some aspects that particularly disappoint fans of the series. Most frequently and stronglythe loot system and RPG elements are criticized.
Breakpoint repeatedly rewards players with new weapons and equipment that are supposed to be improvements. However, this brings two major problems that concern players and annoy them:
It bothers that a tactical shooter should not be based on loot – and headshots kill any unhelmed enemy.
It simply does not fit into the game to constantly search for loot, especially since what a Ghost carries should already be the best equipment they can get.
An RPG and loot system is particularly good in games where the difficulty comes from “bullet sponges,” not from tactically demanding gameplay.
Such opponents, who can take a lot of damage, do exist in the form of drones in Breakpoint as well, but they are simply a disturbing factor.
Skill Up summarizes this criticism in his video as:
I play Ghost Recon for gameplay in the style of “One shot – one hit” and this is hopelessly compromised by the loot system, which simply should not be in the game.

What else disrupts the “Ghost Recon” feeling? In addition to the loot system, there are further mechanics in Ghost Recon Breakpoint that destroy immersion for players. Three criticisms arise more frequently:
The simply stupid AI, where enemies stand in the open without cover only a few seconds after finding a corpse, to get shot.
Missing realism even in cutscenes, where characters fail to take cover under fire and just shoot.
The “social hub,” which completely contradicts the story being told.
Particularly the final point regarding the social hub bothers players. You are essentially playing as one of the last surviving ghosts after an attack and one of the few ghosts that exist in the world.
Suddenly, there are many of the “best of the best” around.
You are actually hopelessly outnumbered by the wolves and find yourself in a tough survival struggle. In the social hub, however, dozens of other ghosts are suddenly standing around who could easily overrun the entire island.
The fans’ conclusion
Is Breakpoint still a good game? Despite the harsh criticism, many players admit that they do have fun with Breakpoint, even though they agree with the criticisms. They enjoy the game and are not quite sure why:
I can’t quite explain why I still have quite a bit of fun [with Breakpoint], even though I completely agree with Skill Up and could fill three more videos with complaints. It’s the worst fun I’ve ever had in a game.
Other players also agree that it is hard to pinpoint exactly what they enjoy. It just is that way, and they do not know why.
Who enjoys Breakpoint? Although even fans of tactical and realistic shooters praise these aspects, it is especially the “casuals” who enjoyed the beta a lot. There are numerous posts on Reddit stating exactly that.
Players enjoy being able to play at their own pace while also feeling a steady improvement. Perhaps it is exactly these aspects that make even critics have fun and make Breakpoint a good game, even if it is not a good Ghost Recon.

Wizards in WoW Classic should steer clear of shamans, even when victory seems certain. What can go wrong is evident here…
“True” PvP is currently not available in WoW Classic, as the PvP system has not been implemented. However, there are always small skirmishes in the open world on PvP servers, where players from the Horde and Alliance trade blows. These battles also reveal how strange the balance between the different classes can be and how much luck can play a role. This leads to amusing moments, like this encounter between a shaman and a wizard.
What is happening here? An Orc shaman was just wandering through the Felwood and had won a small PvP fight against an unknown gnome. This had reduced his health points to about 75% and his mana to about 25% – not a good starting point for another fight. However, an Alliance wizard seizes the opportunity and starts bombarding the shaman with Frostbolts. Slowed down, the shaman tries to flee as his health points drop to a few percent.
Since he is out of the wizard’s range, the wizard blinks behind him – right into melee range. Less than 2 seconds later, the wizard has lost 95% of his health points and is dealt the death blow by an approaching elemental, while the shaman remains victorious with little life left.
What exactly happened? At first glance, one might be puzzled how the shaman managed to break through the wizard’s Ice Barrier and all health points in less than 2 seconds – after all, both players were level 60 and thus “evenly matched”.
The shaman cleansed the wizard’s Ice Barrier and was then able to land a single melee hit. However, this triggered the 20% chance of Windfury, which causes two additional melee attacks with extra attack power to be executed. Followed by an Earth Shock, this results in the shaman dealing nearly 2,000 damage, bringing the wizard to the brink of death.
A failed gank attempt, but an impressive demonstration of why a wizard should never blink into melee range of a melee class.
Have you also had such PvP situations that completely turned around in a matter of seconds?
In Destiny 2 the move from Battle.net to Steam is still ongoing. It will start on October 1st. However, the preload is already working and Destiny 2 “Shadowkeep” is storming the bestseller list. The game is in 1st and 2nd place. The exciting news, however, will come tomorrow: How many players does Destiny 2 have on PC?
Where is Destiny 2 number 1 on Steam? In the global top sellers, Destiny 2 Shadowkeep has secured the top spot on Steam twice:
The top spot goes to Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Digital Deluxe Edition for €59.99
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep in the standard version costs €34.99 and is in 2nd place
This puts Destiny ahead of the current top game Code Vein and enduring hits like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or Grand Theft Auto 5.
This is off to a good start.
Guardians grant Bungie a trust advance
Here’s the interesting part: That a new AAA game starts strong in the Steam charts is not news that makes you want to scream: “You cannot imagine what I read on this page, where I usually just jump into the comments and complain about Xur’s loot,” but there is one exciting detail:
Apparently, more people purchased the €25 more expensive Deluxe Edition of Destiny 2 Shadowkeep than the normal standard version.
This is a trend that has been observed with Destiny 2. Players tend to buy the Deluxe Edition with the Season Pass in advance instead of just getting the starter package and then purchasing it later when they like Destiny 2.
Starting October 1st, we will know exactly how Destiny 2 currently holds up on Steam compared to other games. Because on Steam, player numbers are visible at any time.
While we will only know how many play Destiny 2 on PC, these will be the first official player numbers coming from Destiny 2 in years.
Activision has announced that we will soon be diving into the shooter battles of Call of Duty Mobile. You can even play the action game for smartphones with a mouse and keyboard on PC!
These include the modes “Domination”, “Deathmatch”, “Team Deathmatch”, “Hardpoint”, “Search & Destroy” and “Free for All”. You will experience battles on maps that you may recognize from the CoD series. These include Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked, Killhouse, and others.
As you climb the ranking, you unlock new characters like John “Soap” MacTavish and Simon “Ghost” Riley from the Modern Warfare series, as well as Alex Mason from the Black Ops games. Additionally, you customize your weapons and equipment. You create loadouts that you can quickly access per match.
You can even improve your weapons through loadouts.

What about Battle Royale?A Battle Royale mode is also included. Similar to Blackout from CoD: Black Ops 4, many players compete on a new map. In CoD Mobile, up to 100 players can join. On this map, you fight in the air, with vehicles, helicopters, and inflatable boats. It is important to collect weapons and equipment and be the last one standing.
When does the game launch? The launch takes place on October 1st. It will be playable on Android and iOS devices. It is a free-to-play game.
Shooter on mobile? Is it easy to control? How well the battles can be controlled will be seen on October 1st. However, you have the option to play with a mouse and keyboard on PC with a trick. Although not officially.

How does playing with a mouse and keyboard on PC work? You need to download the Android emulator GameLoop. It promises to provide controls tailored for Call of Duty Mobile, so you can play with a mouse and keyboard as you are used to from the shooter series.
Gameloop allows you to configure the keys yourself. Another advantage is that you play not on the small screen of your mobile phone, but on a large monitor.
In the settings, configure the controls, and you’ll be playing the shooter with mouse and keyboard on PC.
What is the risk? Those who play with a mouse and keyboard have advantages over those who play on mobile. It is possible to aim more precisely. Therefore, a feature may be integrated into the game that detects Gameloop and bans players using the emulator.
Will you take a look at CoD Mobile? If so, will it be on mobile or via emulator on PC?
In Star Citizen, a limited edition of the luxury liner Origin 890 Jump was sold for $1,130. The digital ship sold out very quickly, marking Cloud Imperium Games’ most financially successful day in a while.
What kind of spaceship was it? The Origin 890 Jump is a ship for those who enjoy luxury. On board, there is a pool, a bar, and a dance floor. Thus, the Origin 890 Jump is suitable as a party ship. Moreover, the spacecraft is quite well armed, ensuring partygoers are safe from attacks.

What does the ship cost? The regular version goes for $890 at the digital store. However, a special edition was also offered for $1,130 a few days ago.
What is different about the special edition? This version comes with a 72-month insurance policy, which allows a destroyed ship to be replaced without loss of in-game credits – as long as the insurance is valid. This insurance is very important to many players. Also included is a Revel & York hangar.
How did the sale go? The special edition of the Origin 890 Jump appeared on September 25 and sold out within seconds. Players rushed to acquire this ship for their collection.
How can a digital item be sold out?
Why is a digital spaceship sold out? Essentially, a digital good is “infinitely” available. The limitation is an artificial scarcity of the item.
There will only be a certain number of the ship available in the game, making it something really special. Not everyone can fly the special edition of the Origin 890 Jump.
This allows fans of Star Citizen to stand out from other players. It is essentially like other digital items in online games. Special editions of skins or weapons that are offered for a limited time attract players. Many want to buy these items because it is important for them to visually distinguish themselves from other players and also to “show off” their digital purchases.
It’s no different with Star Citizen. The “limitation” of a spaceship creates increased demand. Therefore, prices are higher, and developers make considerable amounts of money.
In the case of the sale of the special edition of the Origin 890 Jump, $91,000 was generated through the sale. This was the most financially successful day for the company in recent times.
From a marketing perspective, this artificial scarcity makes sense.
What do players think about it? Star Citizen polarizes. Fans are willing to spend high amounts because Star Citizen is more for them than just an online game. It has become a hobby to collect digital spaceships and eventually be able to fly them upon release of the MMO.
Others, on the other hand, can only shake their heads about it. Ultimately, it is up to each individual how they spend their money.
There are interesting details about a new Sony patent called “PlayStation Assist”: the assistant is supposed to be based on artificial intelligence (AI). Can the PlayStation 5 already assist you with a voice assistant? Or is it not yet available for the PS5 and we have to wait longer for this future?
However, it seems that Sony has other ideas for the PS5 that have not yet been discussed. Recently, the company filed a patent for an AI-driven voice assistant.
What is behind the new patent? The patent refers to a feature called PlayStation Assist. The concept is described as a voice assistant powered by artificial intelligence.

This means a player could ask a question about something in a game. The AI would then process this request and dynamically respond with relevant information.
For example, a player might ask where the next health pack is located that replenishes health. This pack would then be marked in-game by the assistant.
Will the patent already be implemented in the PS5? That is not certain, but quite possible. Especially since the PS5 will have a lifecycle that extends over several years. Who knows what advancements technology will make in the coming years.
However, a patent is no guarantee that the technology or feature will actually be realized. And even if it is, it could be implemented years later.
Initially, the patent just shows that Sony is currently thinking about such voice-controlled and AI-supported assistants and may already be working on them.
On the other hand, the name PlayStation Assist directly references Sony’s consoles – a connection to the next-gen PlayStation seems likely in this context – especially with the expected release of Sony’s PlayStation 5 in fall 2020.
The concept would fit well with VR games, but would also generally be a huge plus for the accessibility of games. And it would likely market very well: after all, an “AI assistant” stands for a future straight out of a science fiction movie or a sci-fi game. Just like in Destiny 2, the Ghost is a kind of “AI-supported assistant.”
Where does the information come from? The information comes from Daniel Ahmad, a Senior Analyst at Niko Partners. This company specializes in market research, analysis, and consulting within the gaming industry – especially in the Asian market.
The patent is also publicly available (via Patentscope).

A dataminer has leaked various game modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Apparently, there are as many as 34 modes found in the game files.
What type of leak is this? Currently, there is no complete information about the game modes that Modern Warfare will feature. A dataminer took a closer look at the game files and found a total of 34 game modes that could be included in the game. He shared his findings on Reddit.

Some of the game modes could also be time-limited, enriching Modern Warfare in the form of special events. Other modes may only come later in the game and then remain permanently.
It is also quite possible that some game modes may not come at all. After all, this is just a leak and not something official from Infinity Ward.

After a player demonstrated it, many others are now following suit and carrying soup bowls across the prairie of Red Dead Online, the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2.
What’s behind it? A group of about 20 players from Red Dead Online has made it their mission to run from a camp in the southwest of the map across the entire landscape to the east coast with a soup bowl in hand, without losing the bowl or getting harmed.

What is the challenge? Players grab a bowl of stew at the campfire and then set off. The challenge is to reach a specific destination safely while holding the bowl.
Where lies the difficulty? While you carry the soup, you really can’t do anything other than run. Moving with the stew across the map means you have to pay close attention. For along the way, you’ll encounter wild animals, bandits, and crossing the train tracks at a slow pace is anything but easy.
Additionally, the server was acting up a bit. Some players were kicked and when they could log back in, their stew bowl was gone.
A Fun Challenge
What happened along the way? The challenge offers many funny moments: As players ran with the soup bowl across the landscape, there were frequent accidents. Crazy horses rampaged and knocked players down, trains rushed over some of the cowboys at crossings, and other players tried to sabotage the challenge.
Along the way, many players lost their soup bowls, which meant that new stew had to be cooked at a camp. Some, however, didn’t want to wait that long and grabbed other items to continue carrying. These included fish and corpses.
You can watch in the video above what happened on the journey.
Did the group reach their goal? Yes. Eventually, the cowboys arrived on the east coast and celebrated their achievement exuberantly.
The community also celebrates this event and is excited about how creative some players are and what ideas they come up with.

This supports Rotom: The Pokémon from Generation 4 already had the abilities in the console games to infiltrate electronic devices.
Thus, it can now also enrich the story of Pokémon GO and may have infiltrated Professor Willow’s computer.
That’s why Rotom would fit: The Pokémon is of the Electric and Ghost type. After all, Halloween is just around the corner, and Niantic likes to add new Pokémon during an event.
This makes Rotom special: This Pokémon appears in various forms. There is the base form, but also 5 forms that it takes when it infiltrates the respective electronic devices. So we have:
Heat Rotom (Microwave)
Wash Rotom (Washing Machine)
Frost Rotom (Refrigerator)
Fan Rotom (Fan)
Cut Rotom (Lawn Mower)
The forms of Rotom
It remains to be seen how Niantic will eventually bring these forms into the game. It could also be the case that only the base form will be catchable at first.
How strong will Rotom be? The Pokémon will not be a weapon in the game and will not change the meta. It will only reach just over 2000 CP and does not have impressive stats.
Could the tweet mean something else? Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that. From a Pokémon standpoint, only Rotom fits this story. However, it is quite possible that Niantic has something else in mind. We will have to wait and see.
Have you heard about the hints regarding the Galar Pokémon?
