Plan 8 is a new MMO shooter from Korea developed by Pearl Abyss, the company behind Black Desert. A first trailer now gives an insight into Plan 8 – and it looks awesome.
What is Plan 8? The new MMO shooter Plan 8 takes place in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world where humanity fights for survival.
Players will face terrifying creatures, crazed robots, and an interesting and mystical story. Plan 8 focuses on realistic graphics, action-packed gameplay, and MMO elements.
Pearl Abyss utilizes the experiences from their previous MMORPGs to create a new kind of MMO shooter, as they claim. They are joined by Minh Le, one of the two “Counter Strike” creators.
Comments on Plan 8 Trailer are Overwhelming
What does the trailer show? The first trailer for Plan 8 starts with in-game footage, but mostly features cinematics. It provides insights into the dark and destroyed game world.
The trailer shows various monsters, some of which are particularly large, strong, or fast. Humans also fight each other at times. Players gather in groups or fight alone. They use classic rifles, but also futuristic weapons.
Plan 8 appears to be something very unique and not necessarily a rip-off of other MMO shooters.

The latest Endgame activity for crafters in Final Fantasy XIV is causing servers to become overwhelmed. Now, Director Naoki Yoshida has spoken on the matter and is taking action.
What is happening in FFXIV right now? New content for crafters was introduced with Patch 5.11 in FFXIV. The reconstruction of Ishgard is driven by players from an entire server delivering items to specific NPCs. This process helps to rebuild the area of the Sky City in Ishgard.
Each server has its own progress bar, which is steadily filled by deliveries. Once it is full, an event will start in the respective area on that server, which works similarly to a F.A.T.E.
Participants will receive a significant amount of EXP for their crafting classes and many tokens that they can exchange for cosmetics.

Why is this a problem? It quickly became apparent that this content is very popular. In Final Fantasy XIV, players on a data center can freely move between servers. So, if such an event emerges on one server, the Sky City there is literally overrun by players.
This led to players on their own home server being unable to participate in the crafting event because the Sky City zone was overcrowded with players from other servers.
Players who contributed significantly to filling the progress bar were suddenly excluded from the event and did not receive any rewards. This caused heated disputes in the chat. Crafters from foreign servers made fun of players who could not access the zone on their own server.

In the YouTuber Meoni’s video, one can see how incredibly overcrowded such an event is.
On the official forums and on Reddit, many complaints about the system emerged, along with calls to restrict the Sky City zone for wanderers, or players from other servers.
The developers respond quickly
This is what Director Yoshida says: Two days after the issue arose, FFXIV Director Naoki Yoshida made a post on the official forums.
He explained the reasons why the development team allowed players to visit the Sky City on other servers.
According to him, the number of crafters on each server fluctuates greatly. The world travel system that allows players to switch servers freely was designed to help weaker servers catch up with the strong ones.
However, this did not go as the developers had planned, and the system is now being changed.
Yoshida also addressed the complaints that the so-called “endgame content for crafters” was far too easy. He said:
[…] The reconstruction of Ishgard will be released over the course of multiple patches. […] What was released in Patch 5.11 is just the first of several contents.
I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the concept behind the reconstruction of Ishgard once again. This content is tied to the story that unfolds in the main scenario and was mostly developed to ensure that as many players as possible can enjoy it.
Yoshida apologized to the players for the inconveniences and asked for their understanding.
What are the consequences? As a result of the server overflow, Square Enix has closed the Sky City to visitors from other worlds starting today. Crafters will only be able to enter the city on their home servers.
Players who are currently in such a zone on a foreign server will not be kicked out. The change will take effect once they leave the Sky City.
What is the purpose of this reconstruction anyway? The endgame content for crafters offers several advantages:
There is a lot of EXP and it helps level the crafting classes.
You can earn special tokens and exchange them for cool cosmetics, such as a flying monkey mount.
The reconstruction efforts will likely unlock the housing area in Ishgard at the end.
Although Director Yoshida has not explicitly stated that the zone will be the Ishgard housing area to be inhabited by players, many fans see the layout of the area and hints in the story as a hint.
The layout of the Sky City shows various plots that could be small, medium, or large houses.
Especially the layout looks very much like a housing area, as seen in other areas in FFXIV.

The Destiny 2 raid “Garden of Salvation” has a new challenge for you. We explain how to master the second challenge “A Link to the Chain”.
What is a raid challenge? The raids from the Destiny universe are one of the highlights of the franchise. Raids are demanding group activities for six Guardians. Together, they aim to defeat tough bosses, solve tricky puzzles, and overcome dizzying jumping sections.
The raids are challenging for most players. For those who find the challenge provided there no longer sufficient, Bungie offers so-called raid challenges. These provide classic additional mechanics or restrict certain play styles.
The challenges usually relate to a specific raid encounter or phase. In the “Garden of Salvation” there are a total of four such encounters – the jumping sections are excluded.
How to succeed in the “A Link to the Chain” challenge
This is the second encounter: The current second challenge takes place in the second phase of the Shadowkeep raid “Garden of Salvation”. Unlike the previous three raids, no extra loot run needs to be picked up from Hawthorne. The challenge is automatically active at the start of the raid. You will see the corresponding info on the start screen on the left.
To master the second encounter, your team must capture and hold four relay pillars. The team spreads out since all relays must be defended simultaneously. If a relay is left unattended for too long, Vex will sacrifice themselves there and hinder progress. Once all four areas have been held long enough, you can advance together to the central area.

This is what the challenge looks like now: To successfully master “A Link to the Chain”, all six players must receive the “Enlightened Buff” at the same time. Importantly, at each individual dice activation, the whole team must have the buff simultaneously. You need this buff to destroy the shields of the sacrificing Vex.
You become enlightened by having one player shoot the floating dice and build a kind of light chain to the relay with other Guardians. All players who were part of the chain are now buffed for 45 seconds. Normally, different teams give each other the buff individually; if you want to master the challenge, a great deal of coordination is required.
Tips for the challenge: Not all six Guardians need to build a chain on the same die each time. This would also be hardly possible, as too many relays would be left unguarded. Timing is the magic word. You can spread out and collect the buff on different dice at the exact same moment.
It is important that this happens on a command. For example, count down and at the end of the countdown, each player shoots the die and activates the chaining. Ideally, you should already be in the right position beforehand.
It is quite tricky to first capture all four relays. We have a sample sequence that makes the challenge possible:
Start with all six at Relay 1 and build the first chain together.
Two players immediately proceed to Relays 2 and 4. Two Guardians continue to defend Relay 1.
Once Relays 2 and 4 have been cleared, you count down and all three teams of two simultaneously build a chain and become “enlightened”.
One Guardian from Relays 2 and 4 quickly move to Relay 3 and capture the area as quickly as possible.
If Relay 3 is almost captured, the Guardians from Relays 2 and 4 return to the starting Relay 1 via a portal. Four Guardians build the chain at Relay 1 while two Guardians activate the die at Relay 3.
All portals are now active and you have the hardest part behind you. Whenever a message like “Underbrush defense is abating” appears on the left side of your screen, make your way to activate two dice.
For better orientation – Map of Phase 2
In the meantime, angels appear at the relays. Three Vex-Hydras come at a time. Once you have freed all four relays from these mini-bosses, the path to the central area opens up.
In the central area, all six Guardians must again simultaneously form a chain.
Use Supers like your Nova Bomb or the Golden Gun with the Heavenly Nightfalcon to quickly take out angels and champions.
With snipers like Izanagi’s Burden, you can take down enemies from the distant relays. This helps the other Guardians immensely.
What rewards are there? If you have successfully mastered the challenge, there is bonus loot. In addition to the standard chest at the end of the encounter, another chest will appear after a short while. This also contains high-tier equipment.
The bonus chest contains equipment from the loot pool of the second phase. Specifically, this means there are either raid gloves, the auto rifle or the shotgun.

The Korean developer Pearl Abyss (Black Desert) introduced a new MMO at G-Star 2019. The first trailer for DokeV, which is reminiscent of Pokémon, is already available.
What is DokeV? There are not many details about the new MMO yet. Pearl Abyss only introduced the game with a trailer and provided no further information. However, there was some initial information about the game in early 2019, which was initially known as Project V.
The game is being developed with a new engine from Pearl Abyss – which is meant to power all their new games.

What can already be recognized? The trailer offers some details that can be expected in DokeV:
You can customize your character as you wish
When you put on glasses, you can recognize and summon your monsters
The monsters come from small medals that you can throw into the air
You can fight big bosses together with other players
This is reminiscent of Pokémon: When you look at the monsters a bit closer, you can definitely see a connection to Pokémon. The little creatures do not look threatening at all, rather friendly. Some resemble animals.
This is interesting about the MMO: Initially, DokeV was intended for mobile. However, Pearl Abyss initially discarded this plan and is bringing the MMO to PC and consoles (likely PS4/Xbox One). A later release for smartphones is also planned.
Pearl Abyss is currently extremely successful in the mobile market. With Black Desert Mobile, they are making so much money, that they can build a huge palace in Korea.
When will DokeV be released? Currently, nothing is known about that. A quick release is not to be expected. A beta is planned for 2020, just like with Crimson Desert, another MMORPG by Pearl Abyss.

With patch 5.11, new cosmetics came to Final Fantasy XIV. One of them is a giant flying monkey. You read that right.
FFXIV is known for having plenty of funny mounts and quests that are celebrated by players. The latest one came with the last patch.
What’s going on in FFXIV right now? A few days ago, patch 5.11 went live in FFXIV. It introduced the new Ultimate Alexander trial, where hardcore raiders are currently struggling.
There’s also new endgame content for crafters, where players can earn various new cosmetics. One of them is a giant monkey that looks like King Kong and can even fly.
Why the developers decided to make the flying monkey available through crafting is not entirely clear
How do I get the monkey? If you want to be carried through the air by your own monkey, you need at least one crafting class at level 20 and a gathering class at level 15.
Go to Ishgard to coordinates X: 9.7 / Y: 11.5, it’s right next to the teleport crystal, and click on the poster on the wall. This will start a quest chain to restore Ishgard. Follow the quest chain and you will unlock a new area: The City in the Sky.
After completing the quest chain there, you can exchange 8,400 building tokens for the monkey Ufiti. You receive these as a reward from the NPC Potkin when you deliver him items with a specific gathering value.
The recipes for this are in your crafting notebook under the “Special Recipes” tab for “Ishgard”. There you will find everything needed for such a craft.
These deliveries are also great for leveling your crafting classes, as they provide not only tokens but also a lot of EXP.
You will need to gather the materials for the crafts yourself, and you need a lot of them. This means you have to either go out and gather them in specific locations or you can buy the materials from the market board.
If you prefer to collect the materials yourself, you can check your gathering notebook under “Special” to see where to find them.
Phew, is there an easier way? If you don’t feel like or have time for extensive gathering and crafting, you can also buy the mount at the market board. The item you need to look for is the Ufiti horn.
The price of the horn can be quite high, depending on the server you’ll have to pay several millions. However, if you are patient and can wait a few weeks or months, the price will eventually drop.

At G-Star 2019, Pear Abyss, the developer of Black Desert, presented the first images and information about their new MMORPG. Crimson Desert will be the official successor and the trailer looks strong.
What is Crimson Desert? Crimson Desert is a new MMORPG and the unofficial successor to Black Desert. Although the game is named after a region from BDO and was also intended as a successor, it has evolved in a different direction over time.
Pearl Abyss wants to make Crimson Desert the new flagship of the company. The focus is on multiple main characters, who will even have single-player campaigns. The character from the trailer is named Macduff and has a difficult past that she cannot shake off in the game.
The story is therefore much more in focus than it was in Black Desert.

However, the trailer relies solely on cinematic content. We have not yet seen real gameplay from Crimson Desert. The trailer makes it seem more like Crimson Desert is a single-player RPG.
However, there should also be MMORPG content, such as an open world with other players, trading, and other elements one would expect from Pearl Abyss games.
When is Crimson Desert coming out? So far, there is no information on the development status of the MMORPG and when it will be released. Pearl Abyss is aiming for a beta for PC and consoles in 2020.

Destiny 2 will soon launch on the new platform Stadia – a streaming service for games. An employee from Google has now provided insights on how the company is working hand in hand with Bungie to ensure an optimal experience. The decisive moment: playing Destiny 2 on mobile for the first time.
With this, games can be streamed on numerous devices – expensive hardware in the form of a game console like the PS4, an Xbox One or a powerful gaming PC is no longer required.
Destiny 2 will also be playable on Stadia and is likely to be of interest to some Guardians on this new platform. Because it offers 60 FPS and up to 4K resolution, provided you have a good internet connection.
Therefore, Destiny 2 on Stadia is something special: On the one hand, Destiny 2 will be available at the release of Stadia – it is one of a total of 12 launch titles.
On the other hand, as part of the Stadia Pro subscription, Destiny 2: The Collection is included – meaning you can play Destiny 2 with all DLCs released so far for free under this subscription model. Other games will need to be purchased (initially).
What is behind the collaboration? To guarantee the best possible experience on the new platform, Google and Bungie, the studio behind Destiny 2, have entered into a close collaboration.
While ports or such projects are often outsourced to other studios, Bungie and Google chose a different approach, as the Technical Account Manager of Stadia, Oliver Teckert, recently disclosed in an exclusive interview with IGN.
Google sent a Stadia team to Bungie’s studio and integrated it there for over 6 months. Some employees rotated, while others remained on-site for the entire duration of the project. This team worked hand in hand with the Destiny developers to create the best possible version for Stadia.
Destiny 2 on mobile was the decisive moment
What does the result look like now? Players will be able to find out for themselves in just a few days. It is certainly exciting. Teckert stated that it was an incredible moment for everyone when Destiny 2 finally ran on Stadia for the first time. He will never forget this moment.
But the biggest event was when they got Destiny 2 running on mobile: “Seeing it on mobile was simply amazing. I believe it was the first time the team thought it was really real. I will never get tired of watching skepticism or disbelief turn into pure joy when someone tries it for the first time.”
The project is now complete, and although they will still support each other, the collaboration ends with a bittersweet feeling: “We have become accustomed to seeing them every day, and it now feels strange that we will be rotating to other titles. It’s a bittersweet ending, and we will miss working with them daily.”
How did Google and Bungie work together?
What was the reason for this collaboration? Apparently, it was driven by the high expectations players have for Destiny 2. Teckert stated: “Players now have certain expectations about how Destiny 2 feels and plays today. We need to meet or even exceed these expectations.”
But why send a team to Bungie right away? Bungie could have just outsourced it or simply exchanged emails with Google. The Technical Account Manager of Stadia addressed this as well:
“We knew that the best results would only come from a united team with a shared philosophy working towards a common goal.” And that goal is to be able to play Destiny 2 anywhere and anytime on Stadia, according to Teckert.
So they worked: The collaboration went so far that Google employees even participated in the daily stand-up meetings of the Bungie developers – as full members of the team.
The project brought them into contact with nearly every area of the studio, and after some time, they acted as one unit – with the same dedication, the same goal, and the same philosophy. Everyone could voice anything, bring up any problem.
Tackert noted: “During development, it felt like a bunch of excited developers were working on a game that we all love.”
He himself is a huge fan and an active hardcore player from the very beginning. It is a huge advantage when developers work on a game they actively play.
What has Google learned during this time? During their time at Bungie, Google’s Stadia team was able to gain many insights and experiences. According to Teckert, one of the most important factors is Bungie’s strong focus on players and their experiences. This is what greatly influences their decisions.
What Google was able to take from this: Solutions to problems should always be validated by the player base. They will take this home and apply it when it comes to bringing more games to Stadia. Teckert stated: “They helped us align our decision-making more with what matters most to players, rather than approaching a problem in isolation.”

The Korean developer and publisher NCSoft has released the figures for the third quarter of 2019. This includes the revenue from the MMORPGs Guild Wars 2, Aion and Blade and Soul, but also new games like Project TL and a significant investment in the West.
Where do the numbers come from? NCSoft has published the figures for July, August, and September. Overall, not much happened at the Korean company during these months. There were no major releases or innovations in the games.
All in all, the third quarter of 2019 is slightly weaker than the previous one, mainly due to small declines in the mobile sector and revenue from licenses.
The West Remains Stable
How are the games that have also been released in the West doing? The three MMORPGs Aion, Blade & Soul, and Guild Wars 2 are holding steady:
Aion remains the weakest game, which is individually listed in NCSoft’s quarterly report. Compared to the previous quarter, it has at least slightly improved. The update 7.0 was released in the West at the end of July, which, however, is likely to have only a minor impact on the figures.
For Blade & Soul, revenue also increased. The major engine update, which is scheduled to be released in Korea at the end of the year, could lead to a significant upswing in the upcoming quarter.
Guild Wars 2 has experienced a slight decline in revenue. Here, the weakest value since the second quarter of 2017 was reached. Back then, revenues were at 12 million USD, currently at 13 million USD. The interim upswing is due to the expansion Path of Fire. This was released in September 2017 and is already two years old. No new expansion is currently in sight.
Lineage 2M in Focus, Project TL to Start Beta Soon
What is going well at NCSoft? In the third quarter, there was a slight increase for the long-running titles Lineage 2 and Lineage 1. The two MMORPGs are still strong even 16 and 21 years after their release.
Another guarantee for revenue for NCSoft is the mobile sector. Although revenue declined in this quarter, the next highlight is already on the horizon: Lineage 2M.
What is the status of Project TL? There has been very little news about the Diablo MMO Project TL, which was originally developed as Lineage Eternal, this year.
In the conference call for the quarterly report, NCSoft announced that closed beta tests are to take place in the first half of 2020. The reason for the delay is the quality of the game. This is expected to be improved up to the tests.

However, theories also suggest that it could be an ancestor of the Yamaoka family and not Rin’s father. This would at least explain the distorted, ghostly voice. It is conceivable that an ancestor, perhaps awakened by Rin’s spilled blood, is now putting on the mask.
When will the new killer be released? After the first teaser, it usually takes 1-2 weeks before more is known about the new killer and they become playable on the PTR.

World of Warcraft is quite linear in most quests and rarely presents players with a choice. However, in Battle for Azeroth, this was the case multiple times, as players could not only choose for or against Sylvanas but also indirectly swear loyalty to the Old God N’Zoth. This has new consequences in Patch 8.3 Visions of N’Zoth, which only a few players get to see.
What is it about? During Patch 8.1.5, players in World of Warcraft became corrupted. They received the “Gift of N’Zoth”, a large eye on their forehead. With it, players could see certain dialogues and recognize other players who also possessed the eye. Those who wanted could have the eye “cleansed” and were no longer a servant of N’Zoth. However, some players held on to it and still carry the eyes today.
What happens in Patch 8.3? The dataminers from wowhead have already read the game data and found some interesting passages. It seems there are “faithful” NPCs who continue to believe in the Old God N’Zoth even after he has been defeated. November is getting really interesting in Pokémon GO. The developers have announced 3 things that will happen this month.
This was announced: November will bring 3 big things for Pokémon GO. A new raid boss and two events have been announced to sweeten the month.
In this context, Kobalium will be replaced by Terrakium at the end of the month. It is probably the best Pokémon of the Knights of Integrity.
New event brings Shiny Tentacha
The first event will be the “Very Effective Week.” There you will primarily have to battle, and you will receive bonuses related to battles. Here’s what you get:
Good counters against Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently in the wild, in raids, and in quests
Shiny Tentacha is coming to the game for the first time
There is double stardust from trainer battles

Since launch, Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC has been struggling with technical issues. Rockstar has now commented on the problems again and is trying to fix them.
What is the problem with RDR2 on PC? Since the launch of the western on PC, many players have complained about the technical state of the game. For instance, the Rockstar Launcher had issues, and the game stutters significantly at times.
A patch was supposed to fix the problems recently. But it had no effect for many players, the problems persisted. Now, Rockstar has announced via Twitter that they have addressed the issues again.

The shotgun 725 has been causing stomachaches for many players since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It has been nerfed twice already – but now, under certain conditions, it is even stronger.
This is how the 725 was nerfed: The shotgun 725, disliked by many players, has received two nerfs. It has been weakened in several ways:
Patch 1.07 increased its hip-fire and aiming down sights (“ADS”) spread and decreased its range
In theory, the 725 should now hit less accurately at greater distances, and the individual pellets should cause less damage.
This is how powerful the 725 is now: Despite these two nerfs, the 725 is currently stronger than before under certain conditions. YouTuber XclusiveAce found that the spread of the 725 when aiming down sights is even drastically reduced:
As a result, the 725 currently has an even higher range for one-shot kills than before the nerfs. However, according to XclusiveAce, this applies only to the 725 without any attachments from the Gunsmith feature.
Overall, the 725 is an overly strong “all-rounder” that leaves too many other weapons behind. It is also frustrating to play against it because players have little chance of winning with other weapons.
Is this a bug or an oversight? It is not yet clear whether this strengthening is a planned reversal of Patch 1.07 or if it is an oversight.
A bug cannot be ruled out either, as the shotgun was supposed to be nerfed but is now effectively stronger and can even outperform the strongest weapons.
The Road-to-the-Final event is currently running in FIFA 20 with many new RTTF cards. We show you which cards are actually on the way to the final and thereby become better and more valuable.

How do the prices of the RTTF cards behave? Last year, the prices of the RTTF cards caused quite a chaos in the transfer market. Because the prices of these cards are anything but stable. It is therefore difficult to predict how they will develop.
What is clear, however, is that the top cards from top clubs will probably rise as long as the clubs are represented in the Champions League.
However, it can also happen very quickly that a card loses more than half of its value if the club is eliminated from the competition.
You should invest in these cards
Why are these cards interesting? The following RTTF cards are interesting because it is already almost certain that some of them will receive an upgrade. The clubs are already with one foot in the round of 16.
However, it should be noted that there is no guarantee for an upgrade. In football, anything can happen, and a team can quickly and unexpectedly be eliminated from the tournament.
These clubs are almost through: Currently, Paris, Bayern, Manchester City, Juventus Turin and Liverpool are already almost in the round of 16 of the Champions League. However, Tottenham, Real Madrid, and Napoli also have very good chances of advancing.

Heung-Min Son – Tottenham: The Korean currently has the most expensive RTTF card in FUT 20. This costs about 1.7 million coins on PlayStation 4. This is partly due to the base strength of 88 and the fantastic stats of this card. And on the other hand, also due to the potential, as Son was in the Champions League final with Tottenham last season.
This year, Tottenham is struggling a bit, but they are already expected to reach the quarter-finals. This would turn the 88-rated card into a strong 91-rated card.

Paulo Dybala – Juventus Turin: The Argentinian starts with a very strong and expensive 89-rated card in the event. If he reaches the Champions League final, Dybala could receive a 94-rated card. That would then be an absolute endgame card. Only TOTY or TOTS cards could compete with that.

Kingdom Under Fire 2 will be released on November 14, 2019. However, the release has been delayed for many years. We spoke with the developers about the game’s journey to becoming a completed MMORPG.
Who did we speak with? We were able to conduct an interview with Creative Director Jubo Kim from the developer Blueside and Executive Producer Botond Nemeth from the publisher Gameforge.
They revealed to us where the biggest hurdles in the development of Kingdom Under Fire 2 lay, what is done differently in the West, and what content is planned after the release.
What is Kingdom Under Fire 2? The new game combines the two genres MMORPG and RTS to create the largest and most exciting battles possible. As a player, you will coordinate battles and fight in them at the same time.
This combination was not always easy, as Jubo Kim revealed to us. Both genres are very different and difficult to combine. In his opinion, Kingdom Under Fire 2 is the first game to attempt this on such a scale and will succeed.
Where were the biggest problems? Particularly the balance led to significant hurdles in development, as Kim explained:
In Kingdom Under Fire 2, we have many different units. We have the player as a leader, we have troops consisting of a single unit, and troops with multiple units.
Balancing this is difficult. The player shouldn’t deal as much damage to a single unit as to a unit that comes from a larger troop.
The problems cannot be solved with a simple equation but led to many intense calculations. In the end, the player notices none of this. They enjoy the exciting and balanced battles.
Aside from balance, there were also technical challenges. The state of gaming and the associated engines have changed significantly over 12 years. This led to recurring problems.
The finished MMORPG should be able to handle current demands well. One reason for this is the in-house engine, which has been adapted to changes over the years. Moreover, large battles have been a focus from the beginning, so that this was worked towards. This benefited game development.
Why is it being released now? Jubo Kim revealed that the developers have realized over the last few months that Kingdom Under Fire 2 is in good shape.
What changes have been made for the West? The release in the West meant some adjustments for Kingdom Under Fire 2. Monetization has been particularly altered:
While the game is Free2Play in other regions, it will be Buy2Play here. Versions are available for 30 to 100 euros.
In return, the real-money shop has been adjusted. All Pay2Win content available in other regions has been removed, and a second shop has been introduced. There, players can purchase boosters and similar content for in-game currency.
This step is particularly interesting for Gameforge. The publisher has mainly been distributing Free2Play games, as Botond Nemeth explained to us:
Even though Free2Play can work here in the West, and we at Gameforge primarily distribute Free2Play games, we wanted to try something different this time.
We are drawing on experiences from other areas and want players to experience everything with just the purchase of the MMORPG.
That’s why we introduced the Cubic Shop, where players can spend in-game currency. This was by far the biggest change for the West.

A modern 64-bit client
Anti-cheat measures for a better gaming experience
Numerous client stabilizations implemented by Gameforge.
Language adaptations to English, German, and French.
How did the general setting of Kingdom Under Fire 2 come about? The MMORPG has some Eastern influences, but is set in a medieval world more typically associated with the West.
Jubo Kim is well acquainted with Kingdom Under Fire. Years ago he played it and was later involved in the development of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. He himself is a fan of the medieval world, and the same goes for the CEO of Blueside, Sejung Kim.
This is a main reason why Kingdom Under Fire 2 uses many castles and siege weapons from this world. They were also inspired by the Warhammer franchise.
Troops before a large battle
Western community can influence the game: Currently, the 5 classes of KUF2 are gender-locked. This is not unusual for games from Asia.
However, this restriction does not have to remain in the future, Kim revealed:
Currently, dissolving the gender lock is not a high priority for us. But we listen to community feedback. If there is a demand, it could also be adjusted in the future.
What about KUF2 for consoles? In the past, it was reported that the MMORPG would also be released for PS4. The Xbox One, on the other hand, has already been excluded in advance.
Botond Nemeth reports that there are currently no plans for consoles. Gameforge is “still” a PC-oriented company. Therefore, the focus is on the PC version. But community feedback will also be taken into account here.

What comes after the release? There are already plans for the time after the release of Kingdom Under Fire 2:
A sixth class is in the works. The Dark Sorceress.
Additionally, a first raid is planned, in which 16 players can participate. At the end, a giant dragon awaits as the final boss for the players.
Both contents will be added to the game for free. However, when exactly has not yet been revealed.

After a good start, more and more nasty bugs are appearing in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that spoil the gaming experience. Currently, players are struggling with the riot shield – it can turn tank soldiers into indestructible knife specialists.
How does the riot shield work? The riot shield is part of the equipment pool of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and replaces the primary weapon with a portable shield.
Such shields have been around in CoD for a while and add a tactical component to the gameplay, as the shield cannot be penetrated by enemy fire.
What does the bug/glitch do? This error occurs sporadically with shield bearers and leads to invulnerability. However, the affected soldiers cannot cause damage with their firearms either.

Infinity Ward still without a statement
Is there any more exact information about this? The bug seems to occur randomly and so far no method has been documented to replicate the error.
The developers also seem to not yet be aware of the problem, as there is no official statement about it. In contrast, other issues, like the crash loop of the officer rank challenges, look better.
With a shield, you are otherwise almost solely reliant on your pistol. At least without the perk Overkill.
The reaction shouldn’t take long if the glitch is seen more often. Rounds with a bugged shield bearer shouldn’t be much fun.
In any case, these invulnerable knife masters should quickly disappear from the game.
