March brings Pokémon GO new field research. This time, a lot is about Grass-type Pokémon. We show you all the rewards.
What’s new: Similar to February, only a handful of quests have changed this time. While last month was much about pink Pokémon, this time the focus is on Grass-type monsters.
This change confirms that Niantic actually changes the field research monthly and not every 4 months, as was the case in 2019.
All Field Research and Quests in March 2020
All field researches have been compiled and confirmed on reddit. There, diligent trainers gathered tasks throughout the night.
Actually, the new expansion “Warlords of New York” for The Division 2 is supposed to start on March 3rd. However, PC players can already start today. When exactly and how it will be on the other two platforms, PS4 and Xbox One, we explain here.
This is what’s happening today in The Division 2: The Division 2 is receiving a new major update today, on March 2nd. Included are both Title Update 8 and the preload for Warlords of New York, which is set to start on March 3rd.
Many can hardly wait to dive into the new content. And PC agents can be especially excited. Because for them, the new Warlords expansion does not start on March 3rd, but already today, on March 2nd.
Warlords of New York: Exact Release Date and Preload for PC, PS4 and Xbox
How do you even get to New York? Before you can rush to the helicopter pilot at the White House and have him take you to New York, there are some platform-dependent things to consider:
When can you play Warlords of New York on PC? The Warlords expansion will be released worldwide at the same time on PC. Here in Germany, it will be playable on March 2nd – specifically around 12:00 PM noon.
Once you have downloaded the new update, you can basically start with Warlords as soon as the servers come back online and today’s maintenance is completed. Officially, it is indicated for 12:00 PM.
UPDATE 12:03 PM: The maintenance has been extended by 30 minutes, so until 12:30 PM. PC players will also have to be patient a little longer.
UPDATE 12:34 PM: Maintenance has been extended again by 30 minutes, so approximately until 1:00 PM.
UPDATE 1:04 PM: Maintenance is now completed and the servers are back online – at least on PS4. Have fun and good loot, Agents!
When can you play Warlords of New York on PS4 and Xbox One? Console players on PS4 and Xbox One can also play after maintenance, but only the new content from Title Update 8.
For Warlords, however, they will have to wait a little longer. The new expansion starts here at midnight on March 3rd (German time), so in the night from Monday to Tuesday.
Why can PC players start earlier with Warlords? Massive explains this with technical circumstances.
The console versions of Warlords of New York are tied to the local times of their respective release regions and start there at midnight. However, the PC version’s release is tied to the end of the relevant maintenance. This creates the difference.

A leak has revealed 8 screenshots of Valorant. This is the highly anticipated new shooter from Riot Games, the creators of LoL. The shooter was known as Project A but will likely be called Valorant. It is said to be a mix of Overwatch and CS:GO.
Update March 2: Meanwhile, the embargo on Valorant has lifted. We have taken a closer look at the gameplay content of the shooter.
Where are the screenshots from? Apparently, the gaming site IGN made a mistake and released the images too early. The internet journalist Rod Breslau posted them on Twitter.
Press representatives were reportedly already invited to Riot Games to see the game and prepare a report. Supposedly, a press embargo is set to end on Monday morning at 9 AM German time.
Breslau refers to sources that say: Riot Games will soon release more information.
Valorant is said to be as good as CS:GO
What kind of game is this?? Riot Games announced “Project A” or “Project Ares” in October 2019 as one of the 6 new games they have in development. It now seems clear that the game will bear the title “Valorant.” Some social media channels have gone online with this name.
Apparently, the Twitter channel was mistakenly confirmed as “real” by Riot Games too early.
Players quickly discovered the Twitter account.
Based on the rumors, leaks, and official information circulating from Riot Games, Valorant is said to be a 5v5 tactical shooter aimed at eSports. It is apparently planned as the “successor” to CS:GO, which is currently incredibly successful on Steam.
According to initial information, Riot Games aims to focus on things that are important to eSports athletes:
a perfect balance
a strong gameplay
and a crystal-clear anti-cheat protection
These are supposed to be the skills of a heroine, reminiscent of Overwatch.
A screenshot has already been leaked showing the heroine “Sage,” who appeared to be like a support character from Overwatch. According to Riot Games, however, the shooter mechanics will take precedence, with the skills serving as more useful additions.
He wants to be the best player in Valorant and is giving up the game CS:GO for it.
Why is there so much excitement about the game? Riot Games is known for being able to create major eSports games through LoL. The successful eSports shooters currently available are relatively old, with CS:GO (2012) and Rainbow Six Siege (2015) already established in the eSports scene and the cake already divided. Therefore, “Project A” is eagerly awaited by shooter experts.
Whether the leaks and what is rumored about Valorant are really true will likely be revealed in the coming days.
Update 2.3. 9:06 AM: The press embargo actually lifted at 9 AM this morning, and the shooter from Riot Games was officially presented. We will continue to report on the shooter at MeinMMO – no longer with leaks but with official information.

Is the female character with whom you just completed the dungeon actually a man? How much truth is there to this stereotype? Let’s find out together.
What is this about? It is a common stereotype in MMOs and MMORPGs that a large portion of the female characters roaming around in hubs and dungeons are actually played by men.
It originated around the 1990s when there were actually fewer women in the gaming scene than there are today. Games gave players the choice to play as a man or a woman, and statistically, there were more cases where female characters turned out to be men. (via statista.com)
Over time, the number of female gamers increased in both single-player and multiplayer games. But the stereotype remained.
The reasons for choosing a gender in a game that does not match one’s own can be varied:
One finds the gender externally more appealing
One wants to try something different
Because one is role-playing and has thought of an interesting character
Or one has no preferences and just picked something that looks good
There are countless memes and jokes about female characters actually being played by men
Here’s how you can vote: The poll can be found under this post in a box. Everyone has only one vote they can cast.
So tell us: Do your game characters generally have the same gender as you, or are there differences? What does your choice depend on? Or does the gender not matter to you at all?
The survey has ended! Thank you for your participation.

What happened? Ana players noticed something strange after the last Overwatch patch. When they hit players with the sleep arrow, they were still put to sleep as usual, but they could no longer move over these players. A “teabagging”, that is, repeatedly crouching on the face of the defenseless opponent, was no longer possible. This was because the hitbox of the characters retained its full size, even when the character was on the ground.
Why is teabagging so controversial? Teabagging occurs in almost all shooters and is considered a disrespectful gesture, often seen as unsportsmanlike. In any case, it is intended to humiliate and mock the opponent. Therefore, some players thought that this change from Blizzard was intentional to make such behavior no longer possible. This incredible victory shows why one should never give up, even when frustrated.
Other players see it as completely normal behavior and believe that it is simply part of the game.
Some fans reacted angrily: For some players, teabagging seems to be such an essential part of the game that they can no longer play without it. For example, there was a user “>”assembler”, who posted in the official forum:
I checked it. They actually did it. It’s live. I uninstalled [Overwatch]. This is my last post. Goodbye Overwatch, after 3 years of playing every day. I will not support censorship of this degree.
The typical image when you have been put to sleep.
However, there were also some players who welcomed this change. They say teabagging is “antisocial behavior” and has no place in a game.
This is what Blizzard says:Kotaku directly asked Blizzard and received a response. Blizzard confirmed that it is simply a bug that will be fixed soon. This error is to be resolved with a new patch within the next two weeks.
After that, Ana will once again be able to happily teabag her victims and drive them to rage quit.
Would you have liked to see this bug as a permanent change? Or do you think it’s good that “teabagging” is possible in most games?
The MMORPG Allods Online has received a huge update. Although the game, which strongly resembles WoW, has fallen silent here, the new patch is still impressive.
What is Allods Online? The MMORPG takes place in a world consisting of floating islands in space. You travel through the so-called Allods, the remnants of the planet Sarnaut, which was destroyed.
In terms of gameplay, characters, and interface, Allods Online strongly resembles World of Warcraft. It was released in 2010 and has since been considered one of the best MMORPG clones.
In February, an average of 23 players logged into the MMORPG daily, peaking at 53 (Steamcharts). Thus, Allods Online even made a leap forward. These were the best numbers the MMORPG had seen since February 2018.
Player counts of Allods Online on Steam
Is Allods Online really dead? The MMORPG seems to have a player base, just not on Steam. The game by MY.GAMES, the publisher of games like Conqueror’s Blade or Ashes of Creation, can be played on its own client.
It is said to be particularly popular in Russia. This is also evident in the new trailer, which has English voiceovers but ends with the Russian lettering of Allods Online.
On average, the MMORPG received about two updates per month in 2019, although there were none in December and January. Apparently, a lot was held back for the major patch in February 2020.
The Twitch streamer k3soju has expressed in a livestream how Riot Games handles Teamfight Tactics, the LoL auto chess. He complains about the current champion set, as well as an upcoming tournament.
What is k3soju complaining about? In his “rant” on Twitch, streamer k3soju mainly complains about decisions made by Riot Games recently regarding TFT.
There are two things that particularly bother him:
the treatment of the competitive scene of Teamfight Tactics
He criticizes that Riot Games hardly organizes tournaments and does not promote the competitive scene. His livestream is currently a hot topic on Reddit.
Many professional players are supporting him, especially regarding the tournaments, while others are at least defending Set 2.
Name, one of the strongest and most hated champions from Set 2
Who is k3soju? Michael “k3soju” Zhang is a former LoL player and represents the organization Cloud9 in TFT. Currently, he is ranked 15th among all TFT players in America (via LoLChess), with players with multiple accounts ahead of him.
On Twitch, he currently has over 30,000 followers and has streamed 556 hours of Teamfight Tactics and 2 hours of LoL in the last 90 days, averaging just over 1,000 viewers (via Sullygnome).
What does he criticize about the handling of the competitive scene? At the start of Set 3 there will be a tournament by Riot Games, in which well-known streamers and personalities related to TFT will participate.
However, k3soju has not been invited, nor have many successful and well-known TFT players. Although the list of participants has not yet been officially announced, the streamer seems to know it and is upset about it.
A clip from the stream illustrates that k3soju is not only concerned about himself but about generally successful TFT players like Kurum:
[Kurum has the] most watched TFT channel and he is consistently high in the ranking. He averages 1,700 viewers. He streams every single day for 8 hours.
Where the hell is his [Kurum] invitation? He is the only one streaming Set 2!

What is the problem? Already during the tournament at the start of Set 2, many “celebrities” were invited instead of focusing on the successful players. Riot Mortdog, the lead designer of TFT, subsequently promised improvements for the competitive scene.
Yet no official tournament has been organized since, although some players are even under contract with well-known organizations.
What bothers k3soju about the game in general? However, the Twitch streamer does not only criticize Riot for its handling of the competitive scene but also for Set 2, which was released in November 2019.
In his eyes, while this is significantly better balanced than Set 1, the mechanics are supposed to be much more boring and stale. Moreover, there are some legendaries that are too strong, making skill less relevant.
Also, there are allegedly no decent rewards for finishing a season. This was already complained about at the end of Set 1. According to k3soju, competitive players simply have no reason to play TFT. He compares the situation to Fortnite and Escape from Tarkov.

Why is k3soju still playing TFT? In his livestream, the streamer also explains why he is still playing TFT:
The only reason I stream is that I like my community and enjoy chatting with my viewers. I am not streaming this crap because I currently like the game; I am only streaming now because I am a competitive person and enjoy interacting with the chat.
Teamfight Tactics, on the other hand, does not seem to make him happy right now.
Mortdog admits to some mistakes
What does Riot Games say? Lead designer Mortdog has also commented on k3soju’s criticism in a livestream. He emphasizes, however, that this is his own opinion and not necessarily that of Riot.
He agrees with the professional player on some points and understands the frustration:
Missing tournaments during Set 2 are a problem
The spectator mode is lacking and is urgently needed
He understands the frustration that there is currently not much for professional players to compete for
He views the whole thing from the designer’s perspective. For them, it is something new that streamers are trying to live off their games. This is a completely different design philosophy. In the past, no one would have thought about how a game works if someone plays it 8 hours a day.
However, Mortdog criticizes k3soju for his criticism of the invited guests and for the misinterpretation of the tournament. The invitational is more of a showmatch than a truly competitive tournament.
However, the Riot employee does not comment on the criticism regarding the set. This set will not play a significant role any longer, as it will be completely replaced in March:
Since 2017, players have been able to battle against particularly strong Pokémon in Pokémon GO raids. Our author Noah believes that the raids urgently need to be overhauled because they have become boring.
I have completed over 2000 raids, but I have never been as bored in raids as I am currently. Completely uninteresting raid bosses, available for far too long, and simply no variety.
I believe that raids need a revamp. Something new has to happen to make raids exciting again.
Do other trainers feel the same? I am not alone in my opinion. There are many players reporting similar feelings. There are frequently voices on reddit about the raid bosses claiming that they find them totally boring.
The interest in raids is noticeably decreasing. In my own community, which at least used to manage a few raids daily, nothing has been happening for weeks. Everyone is just playing for themselves, and raids are only being done during the raid hour.
5 Suggestions to Make Raids Exciting Again
What is the problem with raids? There are several things making raids so boring right now. These include:
Boring legendary raid bosses
The same bosses repeatedly in lower raids
EX Raids at bad times
More and more raid days devaluing regular raids
However, I believe that Pokémon GO could change a lot about their raids to make them more exciting. These are not huge changes, but small tweaks that would revive the feature.
I want to spend Raid Passes again!
Suggestion 1: Include Boring Bosses for a Shorter Time in Raids
The problem is: Recently, there have been 3 raid bosses, Boreos, Viridium, and Kobalium, that are not interesting for the meta. Yet they were available for almost a month in level 5 raids.
In my opinion, that’s far too long because many trainers only want to secure the Pokédex entry and then ignore the boss for weeks.
Viridium was available in raids for almost a month
Here’s a solution: So why not have weak raid bosses in raids for a shorter time? Kobalium, Viridium, and Boreos – each Pokémon would be in the raids for just one week and then a new Pokémon would come in.
I understand that there are also weak raid bosses and that Niantic has to bring them into the game somehow. But I think nobody was excited about 3 full weeks of Viridium raids.
An alternative would be to release the Pokémon as shiny right away. I can only speak for myself, but I would have participated in many more Kobalium raids just to at least get a shiny.
Suggestion 2: Make Lower Raids More Exciting
The problem is: Not only has the legendary raid boss been a disappointment for weeks. There is rarely a good alternative to a legendary raid. Looking at the 1 to 4 raids, it is equally disappointing.
In recent weeks, there have been raids of Waaty, Miltank, or Mantax. I honestly wonder: Who the hell enjoys doing such raids? Waaty and Miltank were at the Valentine’s event at every corner, and I often let Mantax stay in the wild because it’s just annoying.
Here’s a solution: Raids definitely need new and more useful Pokémon again. There are still hardly any raids from Gen 5 or Gen 6.
Where’s the problem in including a Rameidon or Bollterus in raids? I would also like it if Pokémon, which you normally get through evolution items, were available in this way. Stahlos, Tangoloss, or Togekiss would be exciting alternatives.
I would even go further and, especially with useless legendary Pokémon, provide really good raid bosses as compensation. Lichtel is a good start, but Kaumalat or Flampion would also attract me.
This way, players wouldn’t feel like they had to pause raids for several weeks but could switch to other raid bosses.
Suggestion 3: Finally Bring Evolutions as Shiny
The problem is: There are numerous raids featuring evolutions, but unfortunately, they cannot be shiny. Regularly, there are raids of Arkani, Despotar, or Machomei, but they are uninteresting to me since they can’t be obtained as shiny.
Fukano is available as shiny, but why not Arkani?
Here’s a solution: Niantic could break their rule and finally make evolutions available as shiny, at least for raids.
For me, numerous raids would then become interesting, and I would definitely invest in raid passes for Arkani or Machomei – two shinies that I still need.
That way, Niantic would finally break their quite illogical rule: While many base forms can be encountered as shiny, evolutions are not available at all as shiny. A principle that other Pokémon games do not follow.
Suggestion 4: Effectively Overhaul EX Raids
The problem is: EX Raids were once one of the biggest highlights in Pokémon GO. With Mewtu, an exciting boss was found, and it wasn’t unusual for 50 people to gather in our small town for just one EX raid.
Now, however, EX raids have almost become extinct. When an EX raid is triggered, usually only 5-6 players are on-site because the rest has to work. EX raids nowadays take place almost exclusively during the week and at lunchtime.
EX Raids often take place at lunchtime, but many trainers can’t make it
Here’s a solution: A good start would be if EX raids no longer take place during the week at lunchtime. This system failed back then with the legendary lunch break, and the EX raids are dying out for the same reason.
EX raids could occur on weekends or during weekday evenings. During such times, most trainers can play, and Niantic should accommodate that.
A more interesting raid boss than Regigigas would also be desired. The introduction of Arceus or shiny Darkrai into EX raids could attract many trainers back to the raids. Here, my first suggestion should also be considered: boring EX raid bosses should simply be introduced as shiny directly or brought back for significantly shorter periods.
Suggestion 5: Bring Exciting Raid Days
The problem is: Normally, raid days in Pokémon GO are a highlight, and I like to participate. Recently, however, these events have become terribly boring because the wrong Pokémon were featured.
Raid days with the starters, Slurpuff or now even with party hat Pokémon are just not really exciting. There were better raid days in the past, which are now devalued due to these numerous useless Pokémon.
The raid day with the Gen 1 starters didn’t entice me out
Here’s a solution: There are still so many Pokémon that would be good candidates for exciting raid days. A Simsala or Rameidon would entice me to go out, while party hat Nidorinos make me restrict myself to the free passes.
In general, raid days don’t need to happen every month, but the quality should be right. One could definitely have a raid day with the legendary birds from the first generation again.
Are you still looking for a good team for the PvP league? Then check out our tier list:
When facing them, the battle proceeds just like against a normal Grunt. The chosen Pokémon are just a bit stronger, making the fight a bit trickier.
Rocket bosses too tough? Use this information
What you should know about the teams: Each of the three bosses selects their team from 7 Pokémon. So you do not always fight against the same Pokémon, but it varies. Your counters should be designed accordingly.
This is how the battle proceeds: Unlike the Grunts, the bosses also use their two shields. However, they always use them against your first charge attacks. You can get rid of them quite quickly if you can initially use two fast charge attacks.
Valuable tips against the Rocket bosses
These tips you can apply: The fight against the bosses can be very easy if you apply some tips:
Use a Pokémon with fast charge attacks to quickly remove the boss’s shields
Do not use the charge attack immediately! If you see that the opposing Pokémon is nearly defeated, you can carry the charged attack over to the next Pokémon and hit them right away
Effectiveness is everything: Just taking your Pokémon with the most CP won’t get you far. You should counter the opponents coldly
As the first Pokémon, Sierra always uses Tanhel, which you can later catch as a shiny if you’re lucky.
This is how you should proceed: Start with an effective Pokémon against Tanhel, such as Giratina or a monster with fast charge attacks like Scizor. Fighting and Bug types are also effective against most of Sierra’s monsters. So they should not be missing from your team.
If you do not start with Giratina, you should still have it in your team.
Bug Pokémon – like the evolution of Scyther – are a good choice here.
The ideal team: Your team should ideally look like this:
First Pokémon
Second Pokémon
Third Pokémon
Scizor
Origin Forme of Giratina
Lucario
Defeating Cliff – The best counters
This Pokémon Cliff has:
First Pokémon: Pinsir
Second Pokémon: Knogga, Electivire or Amoroso
Third Pokémon: Despotar, Chelterrar or Swampert
As the first Pokémon, Cliff always chooses Pinsir. You will also be able to catch it afterward, hopefully also as shiny.
This is how you should proceed: Ideally, you should attack Pinsir with Golem. After that, it depends on the Pokémon used. Grass or Ice is often helpful. If Cliff uses Electivire, then you need a Ground-type Pokémon.
You can find the complete overview of the best counters and all alternatives in the big counter guide to Cliff.
Lucario is always a good choice here
The ideal team: Your best team would therefore ideally look like this:
First Pokémon
Second Pokémon
Third Pokémon
Golem
Glaceon
Chelterrar
Defeating Arlo – The best counters
This Pokémon Arlo has:
First Pokémon: Flunkifer
Second Pokémon: Charizard, Blastoise, Steelix
Third Pokémon: Dragonite, Scizor or Dragoran
As the first Pokémon, Flunkifer is always chosen here. You can also encounter it as shiny.
This is how you should proceed: You can easily defeat Flunkifer with a Fire-type Pokémon like Entei.
Afterward, Rock and Fire Pokémon are particularly useful. Ice monsters can also be utilized.
The precise overview of all counters and the best alternatives can be found in the counter guide to Arlo.
The ideal team: If you want the optimal battle team, you should take these Pokémon:
First Pokémon
Second Pokémon
Third Pokémon
Entei
Golem
Magmar
Defeating Giovanni is also not that easy. We show you the best counters here:
The weapons of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are constantly getting updates, and new guns are added with each season. To let you know what is trending in Season 2, here are the 5 top weapons with really strong setups.
What can you see here? Here you will find a compilation of the current best weapons with OP setups that you should definitely try in standard public matches.
Top 5 weapons in Season 2 with the best attachments
The setups come from the YouTuber and streamer “Inkslasher”, who has already published many analyses and videos with tips for CoD: Black Ops 4 on his channel and now releases new videos about the best weapons for Modern Warfare with each season. Here is his complete analysis:

What are the 5 strongest weapons in Season 2? Assault rifles remain, along with the MP5, the benchmark. However, a shotgun can also make its mark this time:
RAM-7 – Assault Rifle
MP5 – SMG
M4A1 – Assault Rifle
Grau 5.56 – Assault Rifle
R0-9 – Shotgun
5th Place: R0-9 – Shotgun to hold on
What makes the R0-9 so powerful? This shotgun comes with a double barrel and allows you to fire twice in quick succession. The damage you can inflict with these salvos is remarkable.
What really makes the shotgun strong is that you don’t need to aim down sights to land good hits. If you adjust to the shotgun’s limited range, you get a fierce kill tool that works completely without sights.
Muzzle: Choke
Barrel: FORGE TAC Long Shot
Laser: 5mW Laser
Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
Perk: Sleight of Hand
Why does this setup work so well? “Inkslasher” plays this configuration very mobile and states that the most important aspect of this weapon is damage range and the sprint-out time, meaning the time you take to be able to fire again after sprinting.
Since you don’t need to aim down sights and can therefore choose attachments that do not decrease your movement speed, you get many bonuses without any drawbacks.
The problem with shotguns is getting kills at longer distances. Bring a strong secondary weapon with you or frequently pull out a handgun. But at the shortest ranges, no one can match you here.
Here is another strong setup and an analysis of what makes the weapon better than the 725:
4th Place: Grau 5.56 – Battle Pass weapon with ambitions
What is the Grau 5.56 good at? This assault rifle was fresh in the game with Season 2 and can immediately hold its own. The weapon has an extraordinary range and can score 4-shot hits over 50 meters with the right attachments.
In comparison, it has a low recoil and makes secure kills at almost all distances. However, it cannot surpass the two top ARs, as its fire rate puts the time-to-kill, the time from the first hit to the kill, nearly 20% above the top value of the RAM-7.
Barrel: FSS 26.4″ Archangel
Laser: Tactical Laser
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Ammunition: 50-round magazine
Grip: XRK Void II
Why is this setup strong? This configuration makes the Grau 5.56 dangerous at all distances while keeping the aim down sights time (ADS) at a reasonable level.
If you’re not in “Ground War“, this weapon gets kills with 4 hits at almost any distance, and you have manageable recoil and a decent number of bullets in the magazine.
The Grau 5.56 is very versatile and offers several really strong setups. Here you can find a more in-depth comparison of the top assault rifles and which setups for the Grau 5.56 are still really effective:
Why is the M4 so good? This assault rifle has been a top choice since its release and continues to rank among the best weapons even after a few minor nerfs.
The M4 brings balanced values in ADS time, fire rate, and range, all combined with manageable recoil. It is a well-balanced weapon that does a good job in any situation but isn’t exceptionally outstanding anywhere. However, this versatility is what defines it and makes it one of the top weapons.
Barrel: Corvus Custom Marksman
Stock: No Stock
Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
Ammunition: 50-round magazine
Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
Why this setup? With this mix of range and mobility, “Inkslasher” highlights the strengths of the weapon and compensates for the disadvantages of the barrel and foregrip attachments with the absence of stock and the grip tape.
This modification can shine at any range, and you hardly need to worry about how far away the enemy is. The M4 comes, like the Grau 5.56, with many good attachments and can be adjusted in different ways. Here you can find even more setups and values for the M4:
Why is the MP5 so strong? This submachine gun has consistently secured a top place among the best weapons since the release of Modern Warfare, just like the M4.
The SMG offers a strong range for a submachine gun and can achieve 3-shot kills at close range, unlike the assault rifles. The speed and mobility of this weapon make it an optimal companion at the front lines.
Barrel: Monolithic Suppressor (integrated)
Laser: Tactical Laser
Ammunition: 45-round magazine
Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
Perk: Sleight of Hand
Why should I choose this setup? If you like to run and gun and prefer to stay close to the enemy, this setup has everything you need. “Inkslasher” is excited about this combination and has a lot of fun with it.
Since you should aim to hit opponents at most mid-range, the weapon doesn’t need a range boost. Instead, this setup focuses entirely on suppressors, ADS time, and plenty of ammunition. More setups and data on the MP5 can be found here:
Why does the RAM-7 hold the top spot? The RAM-7 is the better M4. It may not offer the extensive configuration options of the M4, but it performs better in the typical combat range of assault rifles.
However, the weapon is somewhat more challenging to handle due to its interesting recoil, which is a bit stronger than that of other 5.56 caliber assault rifles. But you get good damage, high range, and a really fast weapon.
What strengths does this setup bring? With this configuration, the time to aim down sights is hardly affected, and the range gets a solid boost. The sight helps with this weapon immensely, allowing you to secure kills even at longer distances.
The RAM-7 was introduced with the Season 1 Battle Pass and has gradually climbed to the top. Here you can find more good setups and the details of the weapon:
16-year-old Fortnite pro Daniel “Dubs” Walsh used a racist slur starting with “N” on Twitch. His clan, FaZe, has temporarily sidelined him. He is required to undergo sensitivity training. Other players must also complete it as a precaution.

The streamer then panicked: “I am streaming! I am streaming!”
You could still hear Dubs realizing what he said and what consequences it would have.

Twitch and the forbidden N-word
What is behind this: By now, all professional Twitch streamers know what happens when you say the “N” word while live on Twitch: Everyone knows that Twitch issues bans for clear racist remarks. Therefore, such outbursts rarely occur in everyday life, which is why the reaction from Dubs and the other streamer was so pronounced.
Apparently, this is a word that is in the vocabulary of many streamers. They use it without an overtly racist context, as a swear word or an expression for someone who just killed them. But Twitch streamers know that they must not say it publicly under any circumstances.
It was already unusual for Twitch to side with streamer Sweet Anita: she also used the word, but for FaZe Jarvis, he is also part of FaZe but is permanently banned from Fortnite.
Let’s see if sensitivity training will help young pros understand why they should remove that word from their vocabulary, whether Twitch is on or not.
The MMO shooter Warframe is getting a big update. And it is so extensive that most players are quite impressed – because it fulfills a lot of wishes.
What kind of update is this? In a very extensive blog post, the developers presented the update that is supposed to go live on PC next week. It primarily involves numerous “quality-of-life” changes aimed at improving the gaming experience.
Originally, the Warframe team planned to bring the update with the event “Operation Scarlet Spear” starting in March. This is supposed to be the largest operation in Warframe so far – and will present players with plenty of new challenges.
Therefore, they decided to release the update earlier so that players can already get accustomed to the extensive changes. Recently, the “Empyrean” update brought a lot of new content.
Among other things, the Railjack will be cheaper
What’s in the update? Besides many bug fixes, several gameplay elements have been optimized. A small selection:
Fewer resources are required to build the Railjack.
The damage types Slash and Toxin have been adjusted.
Players can no longer harm themselves.
The enemy AI is not supposed to feel like it has an aimbot when particularly strong.
Players can no longer be defeated in one hit if they have a shield.
Titania’s abilities have been revamped.
Arcanes can now reach 5 ranks instead of 3.
The field of view has been expanded.
In addition, there are plenty of other changes that the developers mentioned in their post.
Players are almost completely thrilled
How are the players reacting? The vast majority of players express great excitement about the changes in the comments. Many are positive that Warframe is taking a step forward with the update:
“These changes will surely greatly improve the gameplay. I feel like the update hits the mark perfectly. Small things like the 90-degree field of view are huge and dramatically alter players’ perspectives on gameplay,” user Voltage expresses joy.
“These are some of the biggest changes the game has seen in a long time, and I’m excited about every single one of them. Fantastic stuff,” agrees user –Q–Dioxety.
“Finally, some of these things have been a long time coming,” finds user PETI258.
There are also some players who desire further changes or are not entirely satisfied with the update. For instance, some players felt that the adjustment of the Arcanes was unnecessary.
Yes, the current Pokémon GO event “Pokémon Day” doesn’t have much new to offer. Max Handwerk from MeinMMO still thinks it’s great. The nostalgia factor is pretty high!
This is the Pokémon Day event: The Pokémon Day celebrates the anniversary of the game series – and in Pokémon GO there is currently an event running for a whole week. It runs from February 25 to March 02 – so still until Monday.
You still have the rest of the weekend to catch some event monsters. However, some players seem to be uninterested – at least the event has been heavily criticized on Reddit. “Too many party hats, no new Pokémon” – comments like that are quite common there. However, I found the event actually quite exciting – and it definitely sent me out on a Pokémon tour more than usual.
The Pokémon Day is celebrated in Pokémon GO. Of course, also with party hats.
A Trip Down Memory Lane
Why I find the event brilliant: The main reason I like the event so much is the nostalgia factor. I should clarify: I am not exactly a competitive Pokémon GO player. I mainly play the game casually and on the go. It’s rare for me to pursue any specific goal while playing. The closest would be Community Days, which I really enjoy – I can understand that real pro players might find less to gain from the event.
But the current event has really excited me. Why? Because old Pokémon are everywhere.
Generation 1 is currently very prominent
The first generation probably has a very special nostalgia factor for many players who grew up with Pokémon Red and Blue. Sure, new monsters can be cool too, especially when you’re in the PvP League or always hunting for challenging raids, they can be particularly useful. But Generation 1 – there are so many memories attached to it.
It also includes the very first Pokémon movie, which showcased Mewtwo, Mew, and the clone Pokémon. In the movie, which just got a remake on Netflix, armor Mewtwo made its first appearance.
Just like the “evil” variants of the Gen 1 starter evolutions Blastoise, Charizard, and Venusaur. When I suddenly saw them in Pokémon GO, I was really happy – and it motivated me to try to catch the monsters (which isn’t that easy).
This is what the clone Pokémon looked like in the first movie
Furthermore, there are more references to the Pokémon past. Strong monsters like Rapidash, Dragonite, or Machamp are suddenly found in the wild – and getting them, especially Dragonite, usually takes quite a while. Also, there’s the Nidorino-Gengar raid day – which is likely a nod to the intro of the first editions:
This is how the Red & Blue editions started
All things that throw you back to childhood – and thus made the event pretty cool. Even if you might not necessarily need 30 party hat monsters.
And there could be really good raid bosses again after the event. At least MeinMMO colleague Noah Struthoff suspects:
In Borderlands 3 there are extremely powerful weapons without end. “The Lob” was not one of them – until last Thursday.
This is what the patch brought: Last Thursday, as usual, a patch went live. The rather small looking patch adjusted the balance a bit, improved some Dahl rifles as well as four other legendary weapons. One of them was “The Lob”.
“The Lob” is a Torgue shotgun that fires a charged laser ball. It is quite slow, does not fly far, and does not deal much damage. Accordingly, it was rather uninteresting when playing, for example, on Mayhem 4 or difficult tasks like the Maliwan raid or farming bosses.
However, that has now changed: The gun has received three noticeable improvements:
A new magazine size of 12 instead of 4
It now fires three magical orbs, instead of just one
Significant increase in damage per tick
These buffs have significantly strengthened “The Lob” – and brought it back into focus for players.
Players suddenly celebrate “The Lob”, go farming again
Sudden favorite weapon: On Reddit, “The Lob” is being celebrated quite a bit by many fans since the buff. That it is now among the absolute top weapons is shown, for example, in this video where Captain Traunt is defeated with just one shot using “The Lob”:

The problem: Many players simply sold “The Lob” when they encountered it. After all, it was previously considered one of the rather weak legendary weapons. The difference before and after the hotfixes is illustrated, for example, by this comparison from Reddit user Lord_Emperor:

It is no wonder that many players are making their way back to Graveward to farm “The Lob”. What seems to not be so easy anymore:
“It is almost laughable. Now that I am actually trying to get a “The Lob” from Graveward, I am only getting Lyudas,” reports user raptor_mk. A state that one would have been happy about before the hotfix – after all, the Lyuda is one of the best snipers in the game.
So it is best to check if you still have a dusty “The Lob” lying in the bank. Because strong weapons will be useful for all the new challenges in the coming months:
In Destiny 2, the long loading times are causing frustration but also clean living rooms. Bungie promises an improvement for the upcoming Season 10.
What’s wrong with the loading times? Destiny 2, like many games, occasionally struggles with balance or long-term motivation. But especially one problem is driving players to tear their hair out: the absurdly long loading times.
As the game grew larger over the years, loading times became longer. The current season topped this. A trip to the Tower, the social hub, sometimes took up to 10 minutes.
We want to look at how you perceive the problem on MeinMMO and give you hope for the future. We have dealt with the topic of long loading times and the impact of various hard drives or systems here:
Some Guardians joke and say that they could make coffee or vacuum during the endlessly long arrival sequences. The sad part is that it probably isn’t even a joke.
But it’s not just during the landing process in the always overcrowded Tower hangar that the delays drive you to despair. Even in the inventory and character menu, the gaming flow is abruptly disrupted.
“Shouldn’t the stuttering in the Mod menu be fixed? For me, it stutters worse than ever before,” writes MeinMMO reader no12playwith2k3.
Make room! Others want to land in the Tower too
Season of the Worthy brings hope
This is what Bungie says about it: In the TWAB from February 28, the Destiny developer commented with a solution. With the start of Season 10 on March 10, the “Tower loading times will be normal again.”
Some players additionally blame instancing for the long loading times (via Reddit). For some time now, you land in Destiny simultaneously with your teammates in PvP or even the Tower. The game adjusts to the “slowest” Guardians.
The view is quite nice, but after a while, it gets boring
What do you do during the long loading times to pass the time? Do you think the next season will solve the problem? Which problem definitely does not plague the Trials, read here:
The space MMO Star Citizen is set to include realistic survival content. The developers place great emphasis on variations in heat and cold, and further factors are to be considered.
What have the developers presented? In a video, the developers showcased their plans for the survival content of Star Citizen, which is expected to play an important role and be as realistic as possible.
In addition to food and drink, the challenges posed by the weather will be a major focus. The temperatures are expected to force players to carry specific equipment. If not, hypothermia or heat strokes, even death, could threaten.
A similar system is used in traditional survival games. However, in Star Citizen, the negative effects are intended to be more pronounced. Additionally, wind is emphasized as an important factor.

What makes Star Citizen special? According to statements from Senior FPS Systems Designer Jonny Jacevicius, the crowdfunding MMO is not a traditional survival game; however, many elements of it are utilized.
Every planet and every space should have its own temperature that you as a player must adapt to. If you are too warmly dressed, you risk heat stroke. If you are insufficiently clothed, you could freeze to death.
Additionally, you must pay attention to the wind. This is emphasized multiple times in the video, as it affects how much your body overheats or becomes hypothermic, just like in real life. Lastly, there is food and drink that you must regularly consume.
If you get too cold, you will start to shiver and your reactions will slow down
What happens if you do not adapt to your environment? The developers compare the equipment you take on your explorations to the spaceships in the game:
If you want to defeat pirates, you grab a combat ship. If you want to gather resources, you take a mining ship. Your equipment works on the same principle.
When you set out to a planet, we want you to think about what equipment you are wearing. Want to explore the world outside? Then you should take a cold-resistant suit and some food. However, if you are heading to a hot planet, you should take the heat suit and plenty of drinks.
If you are not perfectly prepared, you risk hypothermia or overheating leading to death. However, you will notice that something is wrong with you before that.
Your screen begins to shake when your character gets too cold, or the image blurs when you overheat. Then you can still try to counteract with food or quickly move to a better location.
If you get too hot, the screen blurs and obstructs your vision
What role do food and drink play? Food and drink are important for your survival on foreign planets. Generally, consumption prevents you from dying of hunger or thirst.
There are also foods that provide a buff, allowing you to regenerate health points for a short time.
What happens in the new update? At the end of March, update 3.9 for Star Citizen is set to be released. However, it is significantly smaller than originally planned.
Account-wide essences for the Heart of Azeroth are a dream of the WoW players. But Blizzard is against it. But why are the developers doing this?
Even though the current Patch 8.3 Visions of N’Zoth from World of Warcraft is heavily criticized, there is mainly one problem and one wish that players keep demanding: the account-wide unlocking of essences for the Heart of Azeroth. However, despite numerous complaints, well-argued discussions, and several daily posts on the subreddit about this topic, Blizzard remains opposed.
But why does Blizzard remain resistant? Why don’t the developers just change the system and fulfill the players’ wishes?
Twinks stare at the heart annoyed – so many free slots …
Our survey also showed that the lack of support for twinks – especially the account-wide essences – is currently the biggest problem in WoW. Together with the negative point “Too much grind,” 52% of our readers see it this way. Grind and essences go hand in hand, so they are closely linked. If 52% of readers see this as the “biggest problem,” then it is a clear sign that a change should come.
Why are essences so important in WoW? In the current expansion Battle for Azeroth, a large part of a character’s strength no longer comes solely from the items they wear, but also from many secondary systems. One of these is the essences for the Heart of Azeroth, which grant the character strong active and passive bonuses that can make up several percentage points of overall damage or healing.
However, these essences are often hidden behind a long grind or high effort; they must be unlocked through reputation or extensive farming efforts.
This is an effort that is already tedious for the main character. Having to repeat the same for twinks is simply asking too much.
Why is the system so exhausting? It is clear that Blizzard has implemented the essence system in such a way that players must invest a lot of time into their alt characters to bring them to a playable level. But I can’t imagine that this really succeeds at the moment.
A glance at the forums is enough to see that many players do level their alternate characters to level 120, but lose interest after unlocking the essence system. Looking at the Heart of Azeroth and only being able to fill one of the four slots with a subpar essence feels bad. It’s as if a third of the character’s strength is still missing – there is no shortcut in terms of “catch up” mechanics.
Personally, I also see this phenomenon in my environment. Friends from my Battle.net list play characters at level 120 and then let them rot. “I might play them with Shadowlands,” they say.
And that is a shame. Because now would actually be the perfect time to check out all the classes and consider what one would like to play as a main character in the next expansion. However, if one already has to invest hundreds of hours to make an alt character playable in the current content, players lose interest.
However, the solution would be so simple: Account-wide unlocking of all essences up to rank 3. Those who want the 4th rank, which is purely cosmetic, must still earn it. This would instantly make hundreds of thousands of characters playable.
However, I might be wrong, and in reality, while players complain a lot, they still grit their teeth and grind the essences for their twinks. Perhaps Blizzard has precise insights into the numbers and comes to the conclusion that while players are currently complaining, they are actually farming the essences diligently.
Or Blizzard might be reserving this change as a “great innovation” for the next quarter to slightly increase player numbers and cushion the drop until the release of Shadowlands.
Time will tell. I hope the developers will be open to it. You don’t always have to listen to the “whining of the players” – but in this case, there is a lot to be said for it.

Twitch has temporarily banned former Overwatch pro and current streaming star Felix “xQc” Lengyel (24) from the streaming platform. The reason seems to be that he was too careless about what he played. He stumbled upon a game on Steam that he would have preferred not to discover.
This is the game in question: xQc played the game “Strip 4” yesterday. It is a relatively new game on Steam. Strip 4 is a variation of “Connect Four”. In this two-player strategy game, the goal is to get four of your own pieces in a row.
In Strip 4: Classmate Study, you play the strategy game against a “school friend” who strips when you win against her. So it’s very much close to real life.
If you have 4 pieces in a row, you win Strip 4. xQc probably wanted to know what he won.
School friend defeated, bra removed, banned by Twitch
This is why xQc was banned: When xQc defeated the virtual school friend, the game offered to remove the opponent’s bra. However, there was no “No” option, only an “Ok” option.
xQc then screamed and quickly hid the screen, but it was apparently too late.
This was the exact moment that xQc now regrets. Source: Reddit
His channel went offline. In his Discord, xQc then explained that his Twitch channel had been banned, as reported by Gamerant.
He believes that viewers reported the incident en masse to Twitch, resulting in the immediate ban. According to xQc, the ban was not reviewed by a Twitch employee:
Insta-bans result 100% from mass reports, they are not manual. Manual bans take about a day to take effect.
xQc explains his Twitch ban in Discord
If he had lost, it would probably still have been “Okay” for Twitch. The breasts are covered.
How long does the ban last?At the moment it is not known. However, it will likely be a temporary ban lasting between 3 and 7 days. According to the Twitch CEO, bans always depend on the context.
xQc has already been banned once in July 2019. Twitch has a “Three Strikes Out” rule. A third temporary ban would automatically result in a permanent ban.
xQc the star of “young Twitch viewers”
Who is xQc? xQc is currently the third most popular streamer on Twitch in terms of hours watched. Only summit1g (Escape from Tarkov) and LoL star Tyler1 ranked ahead of him in the last 30 days.
If we look at the last 90 days on Twitch, xQc even reached second place among solo streamers.
In the last 90 days, only summit1g has been bigger than xQc on Twitch as a solo streamer.
The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) offers nearly countless possibilities for playable characters. But how do you level up the fastest? Our author Larissa Then has tested grinding guides for this. And she was surprised at how fun it can be.
I am a gifted quester, a certain monotony does not bother me at all. I like to play WoW Classic, even back then. However, I also find it nice when an MMORPG is a bit more dynamic.
Yet I still want to have a goal. In Guild Wars 2 or ESO, this has always been to complete the map to 100% while, of course, finishing the quests. A clear task where I have leveled up passively. I could hardly imagine that gaming could be fun without such a goal.
In ESO, I have now thrown my principles overboard and tested grinding guides. Grinding, that is, just killing monsters, is a popular method in ESO to level your character. I, as a bloody beginner in grinding, dared to do it: leveling for leveling’s sake.
Grinding at the Dolmens
Grinding Guides in Self-Experiment
What is meant by grinding guide? On sites like alcasthq or esofaqs there are tips on how to level up to level 50 very quickly. In these grinding guides, you receive important information. These include:
What equipment do you need?
What aids are there for more experience?
What areas are suitable for grinding?
How did I test? For my self-experiment, I created two new characters. I also wanted to try different spots and group sizes. This is how I was out and about:
With a Necromancer (Magicka) Level 20
And a Nightblade (Stamina) Level 3
Alone and in a group of 2 or 3 people
At 5 different locations
What aids did I start with? As a grinding beginner, I only used the bare essentials for more experience during my test. All are easily accessible for new players. Of course, there are more that provide such bonuses. For example, leveling with your in-game partner or consuming Ambrosia potions.
On my two characters created for the test, I used the following selection:
Scrolls for 50% more experience. There are also ones with 150%, but I did not have those on the new characters.
Equipment with the “Learning” trait for an additional 70% experience points. Just ask nicely in the chat or in your guild. Most will be happy to make it for you.
ESO Plus membership for an additional 10% exp.
Depending on it, 10% more experience points from a group of 2 people. With 3 or more people, playing solo seems to be more sensible.
Equipment with the “Learning” trait
These Places I Tested for Grinding
The Abominable Laboratory: First, I tested a grind spot where a ton of zombies are hanging out. They are easy to defeat, do not deal much damage, and respawn quickly. It is located in the south of Kalthafen. I was there with my Level 20 Necromancer.
If you are alone, this is the best spot from my test. For a 2-person group, it is still okay. If you become too many, whether in a group or not, it is no longer worth it. Then the zombies are pulled too wildly, and there are not enough left for everyone. It is advisable to visit this place at times when few players are around.
The Court of Disrespect: The second place for my grinding attempt is located to the east of Kalthafen. I was again on the road with the Necromancer. At the “Court of Disrespect,” you will find far fewer enemies than at the southern laboratory.
However, you have it a bit easier here. There are fewer players leveling there, and you have friendly Flamatrons. They help you defeat the enemies. If you want to take a less effective but easier approach, you are in the right place.
“The Old Orsinium” in Wrothgar: The third place of my test is said to be manageable from level 3. So I showed up there with my Nightblade. The way there leads you through a quest, which is why you are around level 5 at the actual spot.
“The Old Orsinium” is a public dungeon. It is not as crowded as the laboratory in Kalthafen, but harder to reach. The groups here are very large and can withstand much more than the zombies.
Especially with a lower level, I found it frustrating here. Just the way through the tunnels was a torture I do not want to repeat. My Nightblade is now level 21; I will give the spot a second chance in the coming days. Overall, I found it really good, just not for such a low level.
The Best Grind Spot?
Kargstein: I found the best grind spot so far in Kargstein. There, I was picked up by a group. We were 3 people and leveled really quickly nonetheless. It is the group area “The Spellplag” and is located relatively centrally on the map.
As the name suggests, you must come here as a group. If you are well-equipped, you can handle the enemies with two people. Maybe take classes with good survivability or a healer with you.
Was everything really exciting?
I have withheld one spot from you. One of the most popular methods to grind in ESO is dolmen farming. These are large anchors in the Alik’r Desert. Here you join a large group. Just type ” +dolmen” in the chat and the fun can begin.
You then travel from dolmen to dolmen over three shrines, which you can grab relatively quickly. At the beginning, you have to run around a bit. Then you clear one anchor after another, loot the chest, and travel to the next one.
This method is said to be considerably more boring. And that is true. I could hardly deal any damage since all enemies were immediately dead. It wasn’t really exciting, but traveling in such a huge group was still somewhat fun.
Why was grinding so much fun?
Contrary to my initial assumption, grinding is dumb, I really had a lot of fun in my self-experiment. The combat system in ESO is absolutely not boring. It was actually really fun to gather hordes of zombies and beat them up.
Especially thanks to the weapon switch you get at level 15, pure enemy killing is not monotonous. You can always try out new tactics and deal a lot of area damage.
I found it even cooler in a group. I’m just not a solo player; I have never been. Grab a friend and get started together, best to make it two. Then you have even more fun, and it goes significantly faster.
About the dolmens: Even the rather boring dolmen I was able to find some enjoyment in. I listened to music and even watched series alongside. You could take that to the next level by standing at one anchor.
Then you could go more or less AFK; your group is already too large for the number of enemies. For me, however, that is nothing. I still wanted to be involved and was motivated to always reach a certain percentage of damage.
What does it bring now?
A mixed conclusion: Grinding was really fun, especially with the level 20 character, also because I had already reached the weapon switch there.
With a character at level 3, I would no longer grind, only at the dolmens. You simply have too few skill points at such a low level to manage well and have fun alone. Maybe it’s just because I am a bloody beginner in grinding.
Furthermore, I would only conditionally recommend it to completely new players. You simply lose too much story. The world of The Elder Scrolls Online is huge and has a great lore. It is definitely worth it to play through the main story. For the Elder Scrolls aspect, many of you play ESO after all.
This is how many levels I actually achieved: How much you can level in an hour depends on your level, the spot, the number of people, your equipment, and so on. My character at level 3 leveled faster than the one at level 20. Therefore, they are only conditionally comparable.
I leveled from level 12 to level 21 at the dolmens with my Nightblade in two hours. So about 4 levels an hour. With the Necromancer at level 20, it was also around 4 levels at the laboratory per hour. However, I was never really alone at the grinding spot.
In the group area in Kargstein, despite a worse 3-person group, I achieved 6 levels an hour. That was from level 24 to 30. I will definitely keep this method and do a little grinding in between. Maybe someone wants to marry me; then it gets even a bit faster.
